Arun,
This doesn't suprise me...
I'm not sure if there is a standard solution, but you could do this via user-exit/BADI (see [here|http://www.sapfans.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=648307] under maintenance plans )

  • Prevent auto creation of service entry sheet

    Dear friends,
I am using maint plan for creating service entry sheets automatically. I am using framework order where I give the validity period. Now when I try to generate service entry sheets through the plans after the end of validity period given in framework order, the system is allowing creation of service entry sheets. Is it possible to prevent a maint plan triggering a service entry sheet if the call date for the service entry sheet to be generated falls outside the validity period given in framework order.

    Hi experts,
While PO XXXXXXXXXX is in the status of Hold. System allowed me to create & delete a service entry sheet(SES) on particular date.

  • What is the use of Return indicator in Service entry sheets

    Hi,
I would like to know the use of Return Indicator ?, and When actually we can use this. Please advise.
    Thanks
    Udaya

    Hi
The Return Active indicator enables you to specify that a return is possible when time sheets are converted into external services (i.e. incorporated in service entry sheets).
If you have selected the activation indicator for the return, you can retrospectively change a time or quantity in a time sheet that you have already incorporated in a service entry sheet. As soon as you convert this changed time sheet into external services, the system generates generates both a service entry sheet with the new data and a return document cancelling the original data. The system sets the Return Indicator in this document.
Where you can use this Indicator
In a time sheet for which you have already created a service entry sheet you subsequently change a specified time or quantity and reconvert the time sheet into an entry sheet for externally performed services. The system then creates both an entry sheet with the new data and an entry sheet in which the original data is cancelled and the returns indicator is selected.
The return indicator cannot be selected manually, but is set only by the system after the conversion of a changed time sheet into external services.
To facilitate the return of time sheets during the service entry process, you must select the relevant Activation Indicator in Customizing for External Services Management.
Source Determination and Default Values -> Specify for Client -> Returns Active.

  • How the freight cost are transferred from condition type of shipment cost document to service entry sheet and collected in service PO item

    Dear Experts:
could you please share with me the knowledge for below topic:
How the freight cost are transferred from condition type of shipment cost document to service entry sheet and collected in service PO item, because these three objects use three different pricing procedures, and different condition type.
how did the condition type of service entry sheet know to copy the value of whcih condition type in the pricing procedure of shipment cost document?
Is this SAP standard function OR there need an enhancement to do that?
I didn’t find related condition value copy setting in background, could you please share related setting with me? Thank you very much for your kind help!
    Best regards,
    Andy

    Hi, Gopi,
Glad to see your feedback, but i still have question on your feedback:
which condition type in the pricing procedure of service entry sheet should know to capture the net value of shipment cost doc? becasue there are so many condition types,
And i have checked the corresponding condition type (PRSX) of service entry sheet pricing procedure in my SAP system, this is a self-defined condition type, but NO any calculation routine maintained for the condition type (PRSX), how did the condition type (PRSX) know to copy the total cost of shipment cost document?
Below is the example and another question:
what the relationship between the pricing procedures at service PO item level and service line item level?
    1. The freight cost in shipment cost document—including used condition type and pricing procedure
The pricing procedure of shipment cost document
    2. The freight cost in service entry sheet—including used condition type and pricing procedure
The pricing procedure of service entry sheet--the pricing procedure at service line item level
    3. The freight cost in service PO item—including used condition type and pricing procedure:

  • Discount Condition in Service Entry Sheet

    Dear All
I made a service PO of amount 500 INR and entered discount condition RA01@5%, so net price comes to 475 INR.In PO taxes are getting calculated on 475 INR.
Now when I make a Service Entry sheet (SES) of amount 100 INR then in header conditions tab I am not able to see discount condition. Also the tax is getting calculated on 100 INR instead of 95 INR (5% Discount).
Please tell me whether I a have to manullay enter discount condition RA01 in SES everytime I make a SES or it should automatically fetch from PO and where can I see discunt condition type in SES.

    hi,
For this you have to set the discount type as item condition not header condition in m/06 you have to select the condition type .
in position you have to give the  ra01 which is your condition type in changes which can be made tab you have to given manual entries   tab can be select as B     Automatic entry has priority
    Thanking you.

  • Service entry Sheet does not pick any Condition charges From Service PO

    Hi All
Service entry Sheet does not pick any Condition charges From Service PO. What could be the reason ?

    HI,
    Please check Sap note 381030
Along with other thing It says
"Delivery costs are generally not supported in external services management and in case
of blanket purchase orders, item category D or B. Instead of representing delivery
costs via conditions, in case of service documents, freight costs and other, SAP
recommends to add in additional service lines."
So that is the reason you are not getting those account entry in the time of service entry sheet
Use another service line with text ( or service master) for the additional costs as suggested by SAP
    Hope it clarifies

  • Service entry sheet:Pricing condition not showing

    Hello Experts,
    Greetings.
My issue is while printing the SAA (Service entry sheet) it does not show other values (i.e VAT AMOUNT,ADDITIONAL COST) which we have entred during time of purchase order creation. It shows only basic-gross price only.
Can anybody please advice what could be the problem. We want every condition to shown in SAA print out.
Any help would be highly appriciated.
    Best Rgds
    Nitin

Thanks for your reply.I have ticked against the country code by going through transection OLMSRV.But what happenes is that while making any new SPO(Service Purchase Order) it does not catch the vat element.
Actually what the problem is that while making any service entry sheet sometimes we do require to add vat for some specified services and we need to add some additional cost too.Now while making the saa it does not show either vat or additional cost on SAA.
As a result while parking invoice through MIR7,the additional cost which we have entered in PO does not reflect in invoice resulting less payment to vendor.
Please suggest how to overcome with this issue.
    Thanks & Best Rgds

  • Shipment Document, No Purchase Order & Service Entry Sheet generated

    Hi Everyone
We have transportation & shipment module configured in our company.
We are running this process from the last 3 years without any problems whatsoever.
But suddenly from the past 1 month we are facing a very serious issue while saving shipment cost document, i.e *no purchase* *order and service entry sheet* is generated on saving the service entry sheet.
A purchase order and a service entry sheet is generated automatically whenever a shipment cost document is saved. All the congifurations & customisations are correctly done as per sap standards and no request have been moved to production which will disturb the above process.
I have scanned the almost all sdn.sap queries for solutions and have incorporated all the suggestions which will help to solve this issue.
But still the problem persists, i.e still no purchase order & service entry sheet is generated automatically after saving the shipment cost document.
All the settings mentioned below are checked thoroughly.
    -- assign puachaging data
    --maintain acc. assignment cat.
    --automatic G/L acc. determination
    --automatic determination of CO assignments
Check the following prerequisites for shipment cost processing has maintained or not
-Shipment must marked as relevant for shipment cost
-Shipment must have the required total status set in shipment cost type
-Shipment must have transportation status planned
    -Shipment must have service agent
-Maintainiing and assign shipment pricing procedure to shipement cost
    -Maintaining condition records,
Please suggest some solutions to the above issue.
    Thanks & regards
    satish

    Hi Sumit
    Thanks for responding
In tcode t_56 generate PO is "C", I.e generate po for a validity of 1 month, the item category settings are the same since as before.
But for some reason the system is not generating any purchase order from the past month.
The error message is shown below.
No purchase order item was generated for shipment cost item 0000014950 000001
    Message no. VY633
    Diagnosis
You have marked the shipment cost item for transmission to the finanacial accounting department. For this transaction, you need an order item. The system has attempted to create an order item, but has not succeeded in doing so.
    System Response
Transmission of data to financial accounting without a valid order item is not possible. For this reason, all items that you have marked for transmission are reset.
    Procedure
The log displays further information as to why the system could not create an order, although all the settings in Customizing were configured. You can also create an order manually that corresonds to the shipment cost item and then transmit this again.
    Thanks

  • Total Tax in Service Entry sheet

    Hello
Is there any way we can bring the total taxes ( which is outputted into the PO using JEXS ) into service entry sheet?
non deductible taxes are brought in thru NAVM which is fine.
i created a conditon similar to JEXS but the condition is not bringing any value, like it does in the PO
On analysis of conditions i get the message 107 ( conditon without condition record ) for the JEXS copy i put in the SE sheet procedure.
    Thanks
    Ajit

    Hi,
As you have TDS which is a withholding tax and you can do setting for withholding tax. For more check links:
    http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/ERPFI/ExtendedWitholdingTax-India
    http://www.architectsap.com/blog/sap/sap-fi-withholding-tax-tds/
    OR
You go ahead for creating two tax codes(FTXP) namely service tax(ST) & deferred service tax (SD) {where you need to maintain target tax code is ST) .Now you create PO with SD & do GR & then MIRO.{you will have accounting entry for deferred service tax(SD) with other entries}and finally do payment to vendor in F-53. Then as needed transfer deferred service tax (SD) to service tax(ST) , you will have proper accounting entry of transferring amount of service tax by using program t.code:S_AC0_52000644. For more check SAP note:921634

  • Service entry sheet  value calculation

    Hi All,
I have maintained the following conditions for service.
For condition PRS  scale type is maintained as "D"- graduated scale
Condition record maintained for condition type PRS and scales are maintained as follows-
To    10  AU-  price is 100rs/-
            20  AU- price is  120rs/-
Pricing procedure MS0001 has been maintained.
While creating service PO for 11 qty the system is picking up value correctly  as 1120rs/- (till (10100)+(1120)=1120)
But while creating service entry sheet for the same purchase order for 5 qty i am getting the net value as 509.10rs/-
Can anybody able to explain how the  system is calculating this price and why it's calculating so?
    Thanks in advance
    Venkat

    It is correct price
    you said for qty 11 = 1120
    and for 5 = 509.10
    the calcaulation is simple math
    5*1120/11 = 509.10

  • How to cancell PO from Service Entry sheet

    Hi,
We have many open service Purchase orders in the system(More than 1800) and we would like to cancell these PO's as business dont need the service.
    Scenario:
We have raised PR, which is approved by multi level approvals
After PR is approved, PO is created again approved by multi level approvals
Now 1% of the above PO's required to be cancelled which is almost aroung 1800 in number.
Pls note that we have Funds management active, so budget has consumed in the system during PR/PO process.
Now if we cancel PO's then even PR's also to be cancelled which is very lengthy process, Is there any other way to do this.
Can we do anything from service entry sheet?
    Regards,
    Sunil

    Hi Sameer
I don't think you can close the PO from ML81N without posting some form of service receipt.
Do you have any experiences with the mass maintenance transactions?
After reading some of the discussions below I would suggest you use the MEMASSPO transaction to set the deletion indicator on each PO item (EKPO-LOEKZ) to "L".  Running transaction MASS for business object will get you to the same functionallity.
There is also a MEMASSRQ transaction (or MASS for business object BUS2105) which you can use to quickly set the closed indicator for the corresponding requisition lines.
This doc http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-25758 written by Parag Parikh should help if you don't have any experience.
    Regards
    Robyn
