Material is not shown in MD04.
Hi Friends,
We have created a Sales order for some materials. All the materials are subjected to MRP. In mateial master We maintian all Except MRP group. Also we maintain the Requirement type etc with respect to the Mateial Type in configuration. In our case when we created the Sales order some of material are picking the requirement and same was shown in MD04 also in availbility check we can able to check the reqirement but some of the msaterials no requirement generated in availibility and not shown in MD04. All the materails are belongs to material Type FERT. Let me know some materials are not Picking the requirement and not shown in MD04.
When we maintain the MRP Group the materials were picking the requirement in availbility and alos shown in MD04.
Will anone explain the difference between the both setup like Picking requirement with respect to Material Type and Picking Requirement with respective to MRP group etc. aslo when and where we can user those things

Requirements of sales orders are transferred to MD04 based on the item category.
In SPRO/IMG:
Sales and Distribution --> Basic Functions --> Availability Check and Transfer of Requirements --> Determination of Requirement Types Using Transaction
In here, you set a requirement type for each item category. Without a setting here, the requirements do not display in MD04.

In the sales order, please check the item category in the schedule lines.
If the item category is CN, then you cannot see the requirements in MD04.
The item category is determined from the MRP type set in the material master. Since it was ND earlier, the Item category in the sales order became CN.
Had the sales order been created after changing the MRP type, the Item category would have been CP and you can see the requirements in MD04.
You can change the item category in the schedule line to CP and the requirements will be transferred to MD04.
Once they are in MD04, they would automatically come to RRP3, provided the material exists in the active integration model.

Material is not appearing in MD04

I have created one sales order for one matearial. For which materail is not confirmed in Schedule line.
But when I check in MD04, This material is not appearing.
What could be the reason ?

Requirements for few periods not shown in MD04
PIRs for a materials are not flowing to MD04 list for 04 and 05 periods, it is not showing any PIRs in MD04 though we create requirements in MD62 for these periods, but from 06 onwards it is showing PIRs properly.Can you Please let me know where should we check to get the cause for this error?

Are the Versions for the period 04 & 05 same as Period 06. Please not only active Version of the PIR would be displayed in MD04.

Sure, that is why it is worth checking it is correct.
A selection rule consists of certain MRP elements and stocks that are grouped together to a rule. Only the MRP elements that are selected in the selection rule are displayed, of the MRP elements that are displayed, only those flagged as relevant to availability in the selection rule are used to calculate the quantity available and the ranges of coverage. Only the stocks defined in the selection rule are used to calculate unrestricted-use stock, etc
The display filter controls the display of the MRP list and the stock/requirements list. The system displays MRP elements only in the time period defined in the display filter. Within this period, the system displays MRP elements only for the segments selected in the display filterm so check your filter setting, deliveries could be excluded. This reduces the data in the list to a clear selection.
Also, check that define MRP views has not been populated, this could affect user views.

1) You need planning file to be created before MRP run
2) You need to have correct requirement type, just set this in MD61, MD62. Meanwhile strategy type be ignored
3) You need to set the active indicator in the demand management for your item to run MRP. MRP will point at the active to generate all the plannings.
4) PIR will be generated and there come along with planned order / Purchase requisitions after the run depending on the availability check (daily or individual).

Material Cost Not Shown in Production Order if planned with MD50
Hi,
We have run MRP MD50 for a sale order item ie FERT material which has BOM Items. All the stock of the BOM items is tranfered from Unrestricted Stock to Sales order stock. FERT ITEM planned order is converted to Production Order and all the BOM items sales order stock is issued against PO & Sales order no with Movement Type 261E.
After confirmation and goods receipt stock of FERT is shown under sales order Stock of Fert Material.
We can see the cost of operations but cost of materials consumed against the Production order is not displayed in Production order Cost analysis..How material cost can be displayed????
If i create PO with out refering the sale order that is normal process i can see the cost of materials triggering in Production Order.
Can we settle the varience when we are planning against sale order???

I have created STO with UB document type and created a dely in supplying plant.
STO is displayed in MD04 in both the plants before delivery.After delivery is done it is not displayed in supplying plant but STO PO is displayed in receiving plant.
Actually delivery to be displayed in supplying plant untill PGI is done but some how it is not displayed for few items.

Material not shown in the MCHB table
Dear MM Gurus,
I have created a batch managed material and posted stock. When I checked the stock in MMBE it shows the available stock for that material. My problem is, the material is not shown in MCHB table, but the material is available in the tables MCHA, MARA and MARD.
Any idea on why this has happened and How to correct the issue.do you see a batch number in MMBE?
do you see a batch number in the movement (display document in MIGO, or via MB51)?
MCHA has no stock information. MCHA can be created manually with MSC1N transaction, must not necessarily mean that it is automatically created from a goods receipt. -

wheni check with md04, the material is there, but when i check with md4c the material is not shown there,

In MD4C you cannot find consumption based planning materials(MRP type- Reorder related) even though they are present in BOM.

The scheduling agreement number is not shown in the MDO4 screen for the material x.
when i check the mrp data for availabiity check as 02 .
if i copy line item of the material in same SA , and enter the forecasting line, system showed in the MD04 for the SA number

Direct Material Not Shown in Search Products/Services
Hi ,
We are implementing Classic Scenario on SRM5.0. We replicated materials.The materials are shown in COMMPR01 with out Product Descriptions.When try to search for Materials under BBPSC02> Internal Goods/Services > Find Product, i don't see any materials.Product GUID returns no values.But Search by Description of Product Id returns Materials.But when select the material returns Message"No values for this Selection".
Any Suggessions please?

Yes. Apparently the issue belong to Data .When i create material Manually in R/3 and Replicate ,i am able to see.But not the converted data.
So at this point i would seek help..can some one tell me what is criteria for the Direct material to be shown in internal goods/Services area..i mean can i replicate all material types like Finished goods,Semi finished ,Valuation classes, with or without Plant Specific material indicator etc.I have purchasing and accounting views right on all materials.

I have created a plnning scenerio for LTP and completed the MRP run for material X, in MS04 for that material I am not seeing the sub contracting requirements from its parent material Y. The subcontracting requirements "SubReq" of Y is shown in MD04 of X but not in MS04.
In above example the Y is subcontracted materials and X is component used for Y, means X is component in BOM of Y.
Where to be check, please help.

Delivery deleted but requirements are still shown in MD04

I have an issue , where the item has been deleted from the delivery . However the requirements for the material are still being shown in MD04. I want the requirements should be removed from MD04.
Please help me in resolving this issue.
Thanks in advance.Once the sale order is created and saved, the requirements will be transferred to MD04 which means, through sale order, you are asking the system to consider those requirements for production.
In the same way, if you delete a delivery document, it will not be passed on to MD04. In order to remove those requirements from MD04, go to VA02, input the sale order reference against which you have created and deleted the delivery and execute. There assign Reason for Rejection for those line items and save.
Now again go to MD04 and refresh it and see how it works.

IPC/VC: Knowledgebase/KB of ECC is not shown in CRM
Hi,
we would like to use the Variant Configuration in CRM.
Today we are using already the IPC in a standalone environment with an external system (IPC 5.0, the external system is using the IPC in the Java environment of ERP). From the same ECC System we would like to download now the knowledge bases to reuse them in CRM 7.0. All knowledge bases and runtime environments are already available. When I download the object SCE (with certain filters), I can see all those entries in table COMM_CFGKB in CRM.
Anyhow, when checking the material in CRM (e.g. commpr01 or WebUI), no knowledge base is shown!
The table COMM_CFGKB has exactly the same entries as ECC (Active = T, KB Usage 10, KBOBJNAME and Version filled etc.), but anyhow it is not shown at all in CRM. As these knowledge bases are very huge, I have tested also a very small and easy one. This one is getting downloaded the same way and has the same entries in table COMM_CFGKB and it is also visible in commpr01.
So my assumption is that the other KBs are not 100% correct. When checking them in ECC (cu36) I get many warnings and errors. Anyhow, they were downloaded to CRM (but won`t be shown). Business says that these warnings/errors are OK and that the external system which uses the IPC in ECC is not having any problems.
Question: is there any chance of using a KB in CRM which has warning/errors when it was generated in ECC?
Is there any chance of manipulating the KB before it gets imported into CRM. I have found Note 1044682 which explains a BADI.
Which tables/fields do we have to manipulate so we are able to use the KB in CRM.
As mentioned: business is aware of those errors and excepts that there might be a crash in the IPC for certain combinations.

OK, I think I understand your suggestion: you use the same IPC with your CRM as well as with the ECC system. So in CRM you just maintain the URL and a user in XCM to the "same" IPC. You mentioned that we need to download anyway the SCE. This is somehow logical as this is the base connected to CRM, but what is not clear to me is the fact, that if the SCE KB is used via ECC all SAP R/3 fields are available (like VBTYPE of the sales order where you have values like B or C). In CRM we use the same SCE KB but here these fields are not availble as the sales order transaction customizing in CRM does not contain such a field. Where is the logical link between the values which are available in IPC and the SCE?
