Max. frequenza di generazione segnali digitali con NI USB-6009

Ciao a tutti,
ho bisogno di generare un impulso della durata di circa 10us usando un'uscita digitale del NI-USB 6009.
Quello che riesco ad ottenere è però un qualcosa che non scende sotto ai 4 ms e che varia di volta in volta.
La mia domanda quindi è: la velocità di generazione dipende in qualche modo dal clock del PC a cui il modulo è collegato o il generatore di clock è hardware interno al modulo stesso?

I dispositivi USB 6009 permettono la generazione software timed, quindi controllata da sistema operativo.
Difficilmente tramite windows si riesce ad andare sotto il ms.
Se vuoi generare impulsi al di sotto del ms dovresti utilizzare schede che hanno clock onboard (tipo usb serie X).

Hola!
Estoy escribiendo un codigo que me envie multiples senales digitales con distinto periodo y frecuencia. La idea es que cada senal (ademas de tener distinto periodo y frecuencia respecto al resto de senales), tambien debe ir actualizando su propio periodo y frecuencia. Los valores de periodo y frecuencia los actualizo desde MatLab (mediante MatLab node), porque necesito que sean valores aleatorios de una determinada distribucion de probabilidad.
He escrito el codigo muy simple para dos senales, en el que mediante un "for loop" y mediante un vector de datos, voy escribiendo los datos del vector para cada paso del loop en el DAQmx. El vector de datos, por filas representa los canales y las columnas representan cada muestra que quiero escribir (0 = 0V, 1=5V). Mediante un elemento "wait" dentro del loop intento controlar el tiempo por iteraci'on dentro del loop. Sin embargo, cuando lo conecto al osciloscopio, una de las senales no funciona, la otra si pero con mucho ruido y la frecuencia que marca el osciloscopio no corresponde con el elemento "wait" que le he puesto.
Aqui adjunto mi programa por si teneis alguna idea de cual puede ser el problema o nuevas formas de escribir el programa.

1. Intenta utilizar la función de "Wait (ms).vi" en vez de Wait untitl next ms multiple.vi""
2. El tunel de entrada del array al for loop, tiene deshabilitado el autoindexing, por lo qe solo está pasando un valor a la entrada al ejecutar el programa.
3. Cuando habilites el auto indexing, recuerda que el for loop va a iterar tantas veces como filas tenga el array de 2 dimensiónes (en este caso 2 veces, extrayendo primero toda la primera fila y luego toda la segunda fila), ignorando el valor cableado en "N" si este es mayor al número de filas del array.

La respuesta corta es sí; pero debes agregar acondicionamiento externo.
Una tarjeta USB 6008 tiene entradas digitales y entradas analógicas de voltaje; por lo que si quieres conectar algún sensor que entregue corriente o una resistencia variable, requieres realizar acondicionamiento externo que te permita la conversión de estas señales a un voltaje; así como filtrarlas y amplificarlas.
Dependiendo del tipo de salida del sensor capacitivo; puedes tener una señal AC que puedes convertir a una señal de voltaje que puede leer la USB 6008 usando una resistencia. V=IR.
Si el sensor usa una configuración de puente de capacitancia (similar a la de un puente de wheatstone); entonces tendrías que construir el puente para realizar la compensación adecuada y leer entonces un voltaje.
Si tienes un diagrama o especificaciones del sensor te podríamos ayudar a determinar que tipo de acondicionamiento necesitas.

Generazione segnale personalizzato

Buongiorno a tutti, innanzitutto vi chiedo pazienza per il quesito che sicuramente risulterà banale, ma nonostante i miei sforzi non sono riuscito a trovare una soluzione al mio problema. Premetto che sono un utente nuovissimo di questo prodotto e sto imparando grazie a esempi tutorial e forum. Spero vi sia qualcuno che possa rispondere a questa domanda perchè se sono arrivato qui è perchè per ora non vedo altre strade.
Quello che dovrei fare io è inviare tramite LabView un segnale personalizzato ad un attuatore. Ad esempio vorrei inviare un segnale che assomigli ad un dente di sega (voltaggio) ma con i tempi differenti. Per quanto riguarda la generazione del segnale io ho provato ad usare il VI "Simulate arbitrary signal" e sono riuscito a creare la forma d'onda da me desiderata inserendo i punti ecc.. Ora dovrei fare in modo che questo segnale (tramite scheda installata e funzionante) venga fisicamente inviato. Ho trovato come soluzione il DAQ Assistant, ma questo VI mi permette solo 3 forme d'onda stabilite e con i tempi prefissati. Esiste una maniera facile di fare quello che sto chiedendo?
Sarei molto grato se qualcuno mi aiutasse a trovare una soluzione, considerando che io non ci riesco e i tempi per ultimare questo lavoro sono ahimè strettissimi.

prova a partire di questo VI. Solo devi sostituire il tuo blocco della segnale generata per quello che si trova sul block diagram. Penso possa funzionare.
Comunque, ti darà un'idea di come lavore il driver NI Daqmx.

Activar 2 o más salidas digitales con una señal

haciendo el control de un aire acondicionado, a taves de arduino y labview y se me presentó la siquiente problemática, necesito activar las salidas digitales 2, 3 y 4 con una señal, 2 y 3 con otra y solo la salida 2 con un botón de On.
Agradeceria mucho vuetra ayuda.

debe de utilizar el "Set Digital Pin Mode" para especificar que los pines son salidas. Para mayor facilidad, puede incluirlos en un for loop. Seguidamente, necesita poner todos los valores a escribir en un array booleano y lo cablea a la entrada del "Digital Write Port".
Con respecto a la consulta anterior, pareciera ser que debe de hacer lo mismo solamente que utilizando "Digital Write Pin" y podría controlarlo mediante una estructura case para conocer cuales pines desea habilitar. Creo que con eso sería lo suficientemente funcional.
Espero pueda servirle la información suministrada y si no fuera así, podría aclarar mejor la consulta o añadir su vi para entenderlo mejor?

MAX does not see PCMCIA-GPIB or GPIB-USB-B

I am using a legacy Windows XP SP3 system with MAX 3.1 and NI-488.2 V2.1. I use either a PCMCIA-GPIB card or a GPIB-USB-B.
When logged into an administrator account there are no problems; both devices appear in MAX and in the WIndows device manager.
When logged into a user account with limited privileges, the devices appear in the WIndows device manager, but not in MAX, but the VIs and compiled EXEs I user still operate correctly. However, if I convert the user account to an admin account the devices are visible, but this is not a solution because 'Security'.
The problem lies within the compiled EXEs as their respective VIs have been lost over time and the address of the PCMCIA or USB interface are hardcoded, and are not the same in all EXEs. I would appreciate any insight you may have.

If some features aren't working for users with reduced privileges you may need to grant them privileges to the National Instruments installation directory, the method is detailed in the KB article here.
I'd recommend trying this to see if it helps.

MAX can't see my Agilent 82357A GPIB/USB converter

I have a LV 8.5 program that talks to an Agilent 34970A through the subject converter and generally works well except I often lose comm. Also when I first start my LV program it can't establish comm until I run the Agilent Connection Wizard, then LV and MAX comm ok with it. I've tried a different converter with same results. I'm using the Agilent Initialize vi, which is where the error occurs. The error I get is "Error 1073870264 occurred at VISA Clear in HP34970A Initialize.vi.....(Hex 0xBFFF00600) The interface associated with this session is not currently the controller in charge. "
I've been on the phone with Agilent tech help and we've tried lots of things, and finally he suggests updating the Agilent I/O s/w, as well as NI-MAX. My MAX rev is 4.4of1. My first question is where/how do I download an update for MAX? and second question is, what's my problem? I can always get my LV program and MAX to recognize the converter ONLY after I run the Agilent Connection Wizard OR unplug/replug the USB cable, and that's getting to be a real pain.

3. Enable VISA Tulip (as you have done already)

Hola, está con jailbreak? Si es así, es normal que pase a ser un sistema inestable. Si no es así restauralo y luego dale a la copia de seguridad que tenías del iPhone en iTunes.

Problemi con chiave usb dopo aver installato os x

premetto che non sono un'esperta di pc/mac e che non capisco alcun termine tecnico. Detto ciò, con parole molto semplici, il mio problema risiede nel fatto che da quando ho installato Mavericks OS X il mio Mac non mi vede più le chiavi usb. Le inserisco, queste si attivano, si vedono 30 secondi sul dekstop e poi spariscono!!!! aiutooo! mi sto' preparando per la tesi e ne ho veramente bisognooo!!!

Problema risolto. Per chi, come me, aveva bisogno di aiuto e cercava risposte in questa domanda, potete tranquillamente disinstallare Adobe AIR se non avete installato Adobe Muse CC.

Comunicar labview con osciloscopio usb

Estoy sensando una señal con un osciloscopio hantek dso-2090 que se comunca por USB, necesito tratar esa señal con Labview 2010 pero no he podido establecer comunicación entre el osciloscopio y el programa, alguna sugerencia?

Stampante F380 in condivisione con porta USB modem/router non funziona come scanner

Buongiorno, ho una stampante Hp F380 che ho sempre utilizzato sul mio pc, con sistema operativo Windows7, tramite la porta USB.
Avendo l'esigenza di stampare ed eseguire scansioni da un altro pc in rete sullo stesso modem router, ho provato ad utilizzare la porta USB master di cui è dotato il mio modem router (Alice Gate VOIP 2 Plus Wi Fi) a cui ho collegato la F380 per poterla condividere con il nuovo pc.
Ho seguito la procedura di installazione da manuale modem ed il tutto, per quanto riguarda la funzione di stampa, è andato a buon fine.
Lo scanner invece non si riesce ad utilizzare in quanto il programma HP centro soluzioni non vede il dispositivo se non è collegato ad un porta USB locale del pc (io normalmente usavo questo per le mie scansioni)
Anche cercando di usare la scansione direttamente dalla cartella "Dispositivi e stampanti", cliccando sul tasto destro del mouse sull'icona del dispositivo F380 nel menu a finestra non appaiono le funzioni di digitalizzazione che invece appaiono quando la F380 è collegata ad una porta USB locale del pc.
Avete una soluzione per questo?

Acquisizione segnale da salvare in forma matriciale

Salve a tutti.
Sono nuovo del forum e neofita di LabVIEW. Scrivo per chiedervi consigli e/o soluzioni per il problema che espongo di seguito.
Ho tre segnali:
Trigger di Frame
Trigger di Linea
Segnale analogico
Il segnale analogico (variabile in un range di +- 5V) è costituito dalla serializzazione delle linee e 128 linee costituiscono un "frame".
Ora, con la scheda PCI-5122 riesco a campionare il segnale alla frequenza desiderata (50MHz) e registrare (con il modulo WRITE MEASUREMENT FILE) un file di 128 segmenti (riconosco i 128 trigger compresi tra due frame trigger successivi) che costituiscono il frame che devo ricostruire. Il problema è che quel modulo mi mette i dati in un'unica colonna e non mi consente invece di salvarli in un formato "matriciale", ovvero salvare i 128 segmenti di dati in altrettante colonne differenti.
Qualcuno saprebbe darmi dei suggerimenti su quale potrebbe essere la strategia giusta per acquisire i dati salvandoli direttamente in un file (anche tipo lvm)che abbia i dati in un formato "matriciale"? ad es 5000 campioni x 128 colonne?

Dovresti creare un array 2D utilizzando il VI di "Initialize Array", specificando come input le dimensioni di righe e colonne. Dopo aver creato il 2D array dovrai inseirire riga per riga (o colonna per colonna) i dati provenienti dall'acquisizione
Utilizzando un "For Loop" con shift register, puoi inserire un array 1D ad'ogni iterazione in questa matrice (array 2D) utilizzando il VI "Insert into Array"
Ultimata la generazione dell'aray, puoi utilizzare il VI "Write To Measurement file" per scrivere il tuo array 2D dentro il file.

Funzione max & min

Sto facendo le prime esperienze con una scheda usb 6009 , rilevo il valore di tensione su due ingressi analogici mediante DAQ assistant, il dato in uscita lo invio alla funzione index array separo i due canali avendo così il valore di tensione rilevato sui due singoli canali.
A questo punto vorrei determinare il valore max e min con la funzione max e min in un determinato periodo di tempo, oppure a richiesta dipendente dallo stato alto di un ingresso digitale.
Ho provato diverse soluzioni facendo riferimento ad esempi senza ottenere il risultato desiderato.
Potete darmi qualche indicazioni in merito?

per eseguire la funzione MIN/MAX sulla parte di un array devi prima ricavarti la porzione dell'array su cui vuoi operare. Per fare questo puoi utilizzare la funzione array subset che si trova sotto la paletta degli array.

So i have download MAX 2.2 and now i can communicate with my devices. The problem ist, that i can't open the VISA session in LABVIEW, so that i can't communicate with my devices. I try to open the NI-Spy, but it show me an error. Have erverybody a idea how can i solve this problem. THX

I understand you want to control GPIB instruments using NI LabVIEW, NI
VISA, and the Agilent 82357A USB/GPIB Interface.
This method works for me. Perhaps you can compare your results to
this procedure, and then make progress.
1. Starting Conditions:
I start with my HP Kayak XU800 PC (single 800 MHz CPU), with an NI
PCI-GPIB+ card installed.
My Agilent 82357A USB/GPIB Interface is not connected to PC nor
instrument.
The attached Visagpib01.vi LabVIEW program is on an uninstalled floppy
disk: A:\Visagpib01.vi
I format the C: hard disk and install Windows 2000 Professional. I
reboot.
Windows runs a Found New Hardware Wizard (for a PCI Simple
Communications Controller). I assume that is for the NI PCI-GPIB+
card. I click the Cancel button. I'll run a similar wizard AFTER I
install the NI software.
2. Install NI-488.2 for Windows:
I put in my NI-488.2 for Windows CD (July 2000, 500739E-00) and let it
autorun. I click on "Install NI-488.2 Software for Windows". I use
the default Destination Directory: C:\Program Files\National
Instruments\NI-488.2\ .
I choose the default "Typical" installation, and complete the
installation.
Now I click on "Explore CD" and run the "SetupVisa" icon to install
NI-VISA 2.5 . I use the default NI-VISA Folder: C:\VXIpnp\ . I
choose the default "Complete" installation, and complete the
installation.
I click the Yes button to reboot my PC.
Now that I have installed the NI software, the NI-488.2 Getting
Started Wizard runs. I click on "Verify your hardware and software
installation". It found my NI PCI-GPIB+ card as GPIB0. The Agilent
82357A will not be visible yet. I click the Exit button. I'm done
with this NI-488.2 Getting Started Wizard, so I click the x in the top
right of the window.
3. Install Agilent I/O Libraries for Windows:
I put in my Agilent I/O Libraries for Instrument Control for Windows
CD (L.01.00) and let it autorun. I click the Next button a few times
until I see 2 big buttons: Full Installation & Custom Installation.
Because this is the L.01.00 release and I installed the NI VISA first,
either button would work. But I'll be precise and click the Custom
Installation button. I use the default Destination Folder: C:\Program
Files\Agilent\IO Libraries . I choose "SICL and side-by-side Agilent
VISA Installation". This will leave the NI VISA as the primary VISA,
and install the Agilent VISA as secondary VISA. After a few clicks on
the Next button, it says the Agilent IO Libraries have been
successfully installed. I choose neither View Readme nor Run IO
Config. I click the Finish button.
Some Operating Systems may require a reboot here. My Windows 2000
does not.
4. Prove NI VISA is Primary VISA:
Start button - Programs - Accessories - Windows Explorer. Browse over
to and highlight My Computer\C:\WINNT\system32\visa32.dll . File
pulldown menu - Properties - Version tab. My file is National
Instrument's VISA Library 2.5.0.0 .
I click the Cancel button. File pulldown menu - Close.
5. Plug the 82357A into the PC:
I finally plug the 82357A into my PC's USB port (any USB port). The
standard 82357A live configure window pops up: "Agilent 82357A
USB/GPIB Interface Detected". Because Agilent VISA is installed, the
VISA Interface Name defaults to "GPIB0". Because I know I already
have a GPIB0 (my NI PCI-GPIB+ card), I click the Edit button and
change the VISA Interface Name to GPIB1, by clicking the nearby little
up arrow. I click the OK button.
6. Configure NI Software to Recognize Agilent Interfaces:
Start button - Programs - National Instruments - Measurement and
Automation Explorer. I click the OK button because I don't care when
MAX searches for new devices. Tools pulldown menu - NI-VISA -
Passport Editor. I put a checkmark in the "NIVisaTulip.dll - VISA
Library Passport for Tulip" line. I click the OK button. Because I
changed a setting, I need to click the OK button again. File pulldown
menu - Exit to exit MAX.
7. Access an Instrument through the 82357A:
The Agilent 82357A USB/GPIB Interface should now be accessible from
NI-VISA. With my 82357A plugged onto my HP 34401A Multimeter, Start
button - Programs - National Instruments - VISA - VISA Interactive
Control. Below the "GPIB1 (hpib7, 82357)" line, is a line for my
instrument, "GPIB1::23::INSTR". I double click on that "INSTR" line
to pop up a session window. Basic I/O tab - viWrite tab, I click the
Execute button to write the default "*IDN?\n" string. viRead tab, I
click the Execute button to read the expected
"HEWLETT-PACKARD,34401A,0,5-1-1\n" string. I'm done, so I click the x
in the top right of the window. File pulldown menu - Exit to exit the
VISA Interactive Control window.
8. Install NI LabVIEW Evaluation 6i:
I put in my NI LabVIEW Evaluation Software for Windows 2000/NT/Me/9x
CD (version 6i, 350778A-01) and let it autorun. I click the Install
button. Eventually I choose the Complete installation. It says
LabVIEW 6i Evaluation has been successfully installed. I click the
Finish button. Eventually I click the OK button.
9. Run the attached Visagpib01.vi LabVIEW program:
Start button - Programs - National Instruments LabVIEW 6i. I click
the lower left RED Start using LabVIEW button. I click the Open VI
button and enter the File name as A:\Visagpib01 . I close the
Controls and Tools palettes by clicking the x in the top right
corners. Notice the resource name field of "GPIB1::23::INSTR" to use
my GPIB1 82357A connected to my 34401A at GPIB address 23. Operate
pulldown menu - Run, and the read buffer field now says this expected
string: "HEWLETT-PACKARD,34401A,0,5-1-1". Running the example again
simply writes over the earlier string, and so does not appear to
change the display. The attached Visagpib01.vi LabVIEW program is
simplified from the "C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 6
Eval\Examples\instr\visa\SRQ Event Handling.vi" NI example program.
