MDM Clients not responding

Hi All,
I am not able to access any of my MDM clients.
In console, when I mount the MDM server, the cursor gets stuck in the busy mode and nothing happens after that.
other clients Import Manager, Data Manager and Syndicator, when I click on them, the clients doesn't open but I see the processes running in the task manager.
MDM server is up and running.
What might be the problem?
Please give me your inputs.

Hi John,
I am using a system with a 32 bit Windows 7 Professional OS to connect to the clients.
The MDM version is MDM 7.1 SP 07.
This is not the first time I am connecting through this system. I was not facing this issue before.
Just wondering what would have went wrong now.

    What can cause the problem? I have installed and reinstalled the client. I have updated all the drivers. I have removed Personal Skype to make sure that it won´t cause the problem but problem is still there. Server itself is updated with latest CU and Skype
    for Business UI is enabled as default UI.

    Hi,
    Please try to uninstall the default Sound Card, VGA Device/Video Card, Graphic Card, and use the default system driver to test the issue. Because sometimes update driver to the latest version doesn't work but only use the default system.
    Please also make sure OS system update to the latest version.

  • LogMeIn Client not responding / freezes

    In the past two weeks we've noticed that when we connect to some computers that the LogMeIn client stops responding.  We can enter the credentials to initiate remote control, the LogMeIn Client screen goes black and then just sits there.  We're not able to login to the computer. This is happening on a couple computers when connecting to remote systems. The client version is 1.3.772.  The computers we're connecting to are Server 2008, Windows 7, Server 2012. The problem isn't consistent.  There are some computers where the connection is successful, but most are not. Anyone else having this issue?  Any resolution? Thanks for your help.

    I too am experiencing the same exact issue. My LMI Client is Running on 64bit Windows 8.  This just started happening a week or so ago. When I connect to certain computers, it says my connection is successful but it will just display a black screen/Window. Then the client its self will freeze up along with the Window that displays the computer that I'm "connected" to. It only happens on specific connections, but with those connections it happens every time. Half the time, the only way to get it to go away is to use Windows task manager and kill the LMI task.. Other connections will work fine. Even if I attempt to use LMI via the browser with the same thing will happen(*If I choose to download the applett), unless I start a limited session. I've tried completely uninstalling/reinstalling multiple times, I also thought it could be something weird with my PC so I've ran some cleanup task, SFC, CHKDSK, etc. However, nothing has worked. Its crucial that I figure out whats going on, as my job requires my to connect to multiple computers a day!  Does anyone have any idea what is going on here??-Any Help would be Extremely appeciated!!Thanks in advance

  • SCCM2012 Clients not responding to Application deployments

    Hi
    I have around 4000 Windows 7 Enterprise PCs with SCCM2012 SP1 CU2 clients on our network, all seem to be working fine apart from around 50 or so that have developed a strange issue.
    They no longer seem to be accepting or responding to Application deployments. Package deployments however, are working fine on those PC's.
    Policies seem to be applying but anything to do with Applications is ignored.
    The App discovery and App Enforce logs have not updated on these clients for around a month now and no matter what we throw at them seems to fix them, We've tried Hard policy resets, client reinstalls, WMI repository rebuilds, etc. and now we're leaning
    towards possible OS rebuilds but do not really want to go to that extreme.
    Would updating our environment to R2/Latest CU benefit this particular issue? Our company policy is to only update a major application if the associated update or fix is required to cure any issues incurred so the R2/CU2 would have to be proven to fix this
    issue!
    Any ideas anyone?

    What's your recommended method for WMI Repair?
    I have been up until 2012, using the WMI repair tool found in the SCCM2007 version of Roger Zander's Client Center but this does not seem to make any difference with this particular issue.
    What would be nice is a single VBS that uninstalls the client, repairs WMI and then re-installs the client but I'm no code person.
    On the dependency chain thing, this hits the nail on the head with our issue as we were doing a trial rollout of IE, Office 2013 and our custom document management system all in one deployment and the dependency list was around 15. Makes sense if this is
    the root cause.

    We are evaluting Developer 6.0 Beta version.
    Sql Net*8 is working well on the server side(Window Nt) no probs
    but at the client side (Windows 95) when we click
    start->oracle for windows95->Sql Net*8 easy ,no resond screan
    appears. So we go for manual configuration of tnsnames.ora
    and for that we copy tnsnames.ora from the server side which
    is working fine but at client side when we try to loggin to
    oracle 8 database using sql*plus we get the following error
    ORA-12222:TNS no such protocol adapter.
    we had loaded tcp/ip protocol of microsoft.

  • Lion Clients 10.7.4 show network accounts are unavailable and server is not responding when binding to Snow Leopard server 10.6.8

    Hello,
    I am running Snow Leopard Server 10.6.8 and my clients are Lion 10.7.4.  While testing I had no issues binding 10.7.4 to our 10.6.8 server's OD.  I created a 10.7.4 image to push to all of our machines and in the beginning of last week I was able to push the image and get the machines to bind with OD and apply preferences on these machines through workgroup manager.  Towards the end of the week though this stopped working.  Now any time I bind a 10.7.4 client to OD it allows me to perform an authenticated bind and the machine shows up in workgroup manager but immediatley after binding the client the status jelly next to the OD server in the directory list is red and says "This server is not responding".  If I reboot the client I get a notification that "Network accounts are unavailable" at the login screen.  My preferences from workgroup manager are also not applying, which is my main concern because without workgroup manager my mac server is somewhat pointless as we use it for very little else. 
    I've since tried to bind a snow leopard machine (10.6.8) and this still is working with a green status jelly.  I've also built a lion machine from scratch, updated to the 10.7.4 combined update and am still getting the same issue where it shows the server is not responding when binding to OD.  I then applied the subsiquent OS update after the 10.7.4 combined update but the problem still persists.
    Is anyone else having this issue?  Any help would help me keep my sanity.

    Have you had any luck finding a solution to this?  The only thing I have found was to unbind and then bind without authentication.  Any help with progress on your end would be appreciated!

    Do you have any update on this issue? I have enabled mdmclient debug messages and there is always "Server provided no commands to process" message even when the server has sent the commands.

  • WIndows 8.1 Direct Access Client Needs to approve external wifi use before it connects - proxy not responding

    Ok So I have windows 8.1 with Direct Access Client and it works fine when I am able to check and uncheck proxy settings - which is a bit of a pain and seems unnecessary (I hope). If I take the laptop to a Starbucks I get the error that the proxy server is
    not responding so it never redirects for me to "accept" the rules.
    If I uncheck my proxy settings it then redirects and connects to their internet wifi and off I go - DA connects and all is well.
    I am using a GPO to configure the proxy settings as shown (all options are greyed out for the users)

    Your problem is a classic one when using that kind of proxy settings, unfortunately.
    To solve this without the need of user interaction, there are two solutions that will sort this out for you. In your case, if you want to use your corporate connection for internet traffic even over da, I'd opt for alternative 1 or 2 depending on what you are
    trying to achieve.
    1. WPAD (Web Proxy Auto Discovery protocol http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Web_Proxy_Autodiscovery_Protocol) - it actually uses the Automatic browser configuration checkbox on your client and looks for the file wpad.dat on a specific web server that you Pointout
    with either dns-record called wpad or DHCP option 252.
    2. Auto configuration script (pac script http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proxy_auto-config) - uses the same kind of file as above. The difference is that you get the possiblity, like you want in your scenario to target what users that should get the script.

  • Citrix Client M/c Not Responding - Windows 2000 Server

    Hi all,
    I have Windows 2000 Server with Terminal Services and Citrix Metaframe 1.8 for Windows 2000 running on it. We are using Oracle Apps 11i and Oracle 8i on Sun Solaris 8.
    The Citrix Clients are Win 95/98 m/c running ICA32. The ERP Application is run by the clients through Citrix Server using IE5.0
    Some of the forms are not responding always when client is using citrix technology but the same client(s) can run the application when he is using his own IE5.0
    Can somebody help us out. Is it supported by Oracle Apps 11i or not. Or some fine tuning is to done or some patches are required to be downloaded.

  • 10.7.5 client shows open directory server not responding

    Hello,
    I am just starting to learn to use OS X Server.  I have created an Open Directory Master and want to connect my various Mac's around the home to.  My iMac is currently running 10.7.5 client and have tried to add the server as a Network Account Server  - re: below, but it shows it is not responding.
    As I am a real novice, have I missed something and how do I get this to work?

    You are likely having issues because you are not using DNS correctly.  The name "CowShed.local" is a bonjour name.  In order to properly use Open Directory you need DNS set up internally.  The reason is that the Kerberos component of Open Directory is very dependent on DNS.
    Generally, I would discourage the use of bogus top level domain.  However, since you say this is for home use, you can likely get away with the use of one (mac.leedern.int, mac.leederm.private, etc).  However, if you do, then you will not be able to use hosted services (mail, calendar, contacts, etc) transparently between the home and external networks (names will not route).
    If you own a domain name, you can use it internally and setup your DNS on the server.  Then distribute the servers's LAN IP address to all clients as the first DNS server.  This way, all your client devices can resolve the server's host name while on the LAN.
    Your journey starts at DNS.

  • Your computer appears to be correctly configured, but the device or resource (DNS server) is not responding [and I'm at my wit's end!]

    I originally posted this question to the community section and was advised to post it here.  Please bear with me as this will be a long post.  I'm including the scenarios involving this reoccurring issue, the trouble shooting steps I've already
    taken and the results of several diagnostic tools and logs.
    I have a Sony VAIOS VPCEBB33FM lap top since 2011.  I have had this issue on an off for a long time.  I'm at my wit's end.  Any new insights or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Scenario Details
    1)  Some times it's on and off through out the day, sometimes it won't work all day, and once in a while it will work fine for the entire day.
    2)  I've had this issue across several wireless services, Clear Network accessed with WiMax, Library Wi-fi, Comcast cable internet using wireless router and Wi-fi, and Comcast Xfinity Wi-Fi, to name a few examples.
    3)  Other devices in the household or library will work with no problems such as my smart phone or my roommates' laptops or desktop computers.
    4) Once in a while,  the built-in wireless adapter is not found and I have to reinstall the driver.  Also the diagnostic tool has had to reset my adapter on an increasing basis.
    5)  I had my hard drive replaced in December 2014 and my system restored from the System Restore disks that came with it when I bought the laptop.  Even though I've been online on an infrequent basis it worked just fine for a while. Now that
    I've been online a bit more I'm having the same issues again.
    Below are my attempts at trouble shooting so far but I still have not been able to consistently resolve my DNS issues
     1) Restarting my adapter
     2) Turning off my laptop and removing the power supply for 5-10 minutes before turning it back on.
     3)  Using the IP Config in Command Prompt
         ipconfig /flushdns
         ipconfig /registerdns
         ipconfig /release
         ipconfig /renew
     4) Using the NetSh reset in Command Prompt and restarting my laptop
         netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt
         netsh winsock reset
         ipconfig /flushdns
         [restart laptop]
     5)  Configuring the TCP/IP in several settings
        Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4), and then click Properties.
        I have used the following settings:
           a) Obtain an DNS server address automatically
           b) OpenDNS
               208 67 222 222
               208 67 220 220
           c) Google DNS
               8 8 8 8
               8 8 4 4
     6) Updating the driver for my Intel Centrino(R) Advanced-N 6250 AGN and Intel Centrino(R) WIMAX 6250 from the Intel website previous having my laptop wiped clean in 2014.  It still did not resolve the issue.  My laptop
    manufacturer as not come up with an driver update for my adapter since 2010.  I haven't tried to update the adapter driver from Intel's website since having my laptop repaired due to the fact that Intel strongly recommending using the manufacturer's updates
    instead and frankly it didn't make much of a difference when I did it the first time.
     7) The last one I've tried as of today is going into Services and changing the start up type to automatic for the following:
           Computer Browser [changed from manual to automatic]
           DHCP Client [already set to automatic]
           DNS Client [already set to automatic]
           Network Connections [already set to automatic]
           Network Location Awareness [changed from manual to automatic]
           Remote Procedure Call (RPC) [already set to automatic]
           Server [already set to automatic]
           TCP/IP Netbios helper [already set to automatic]
           Workstation [already set to automatic]
    ...and I'm still having DNS issues.
    My only guessing are that my laptop came with a lemon adapter that needs to be replaced, some advanced setting(s) that I'm not aware off, or my firewall/anti-virus is interfering. I've used Symmantic Anti-virus and Firewall in the past and currently
    Avast Anti-Virus with Microsoft Network Firewall.  I've had DNS issues with both anti-virus/firewall set ups.

  • I just created a new profile/user on my MacBook Pro. My pointer/mouse. It works fine in my older user profile, but when I go to the new profile my mac will not respond to clicks. Mouse moves but will not click. Already tried restarting and the pram zap.

I get to the login screen and my laptop stops responding to clicks. When I manage to make my way back to my main profile the mouse works perfectly.  Should I just delete the new profile and try again?

    If the modem is also a router, either use the modem in bridge and run pppoe client on the TC.. that is assuming ADSL or similar eg vdsl. If it is cable service.. and the modem is a router, then bridge the TC.. go to internet page and select connect by ethernet and below that set connection sharing to bridge.
    Please tell us more about the modem if the above gives you issues.

  • Apple Mail: Not Responding

    When I open my Mail program over the last few days it does nothing - does not even show the Mail Message Window. I have to Force Quit (message says Mail Not Responding). This happens over and over again. I used Disk Utility to check preferences and repaired all (not much there and nothing relating to Mail). Still won't work. In general Apple Mail has not been working well for awhile that along with MobileMe... delivering multiple emails of the same message and loosing Sent messages. What is happening to this program? Do I have to use Microsoft Office to find a dependable eMail Client software? As it stands I have started using Office on our other computers just so we can receive our email and not worry about loosing or storing Sent and Received Mail.
    I am running Mac OS X Leopard 10.5.8 on my workstation. I have Snow Leopard ready to install but was waiting to complete time critical work before installing new system software - perhaps that will be the answer to the problem(?). Anyone having this problem and if so - have you found a solution?
    Note: I do receive mail on my iPhone and on iPad thankfully using Apple's Mail program but those are mobile devices - we require dependable email to run our business on our desktops.

    Mail in Leopard should not have such problems. Disk Utility repairs permissions, not preferences. I'm assuming your only e-mail account is with Mobileme?

  • Office 2013 outlook (not responding) opening attachments over a WAN link

    Before I get to the question I'll give you some info about our arcitecture.
    We have 7 remote sites each with 5mb connections.
    5-10 computer at each site
    We are running exchange 2010 centrally from one server on a 20mb connection.
    All clients are running windows 7 64bit with office 2013
    We recetly upgraded from office 2003 to 2013 when this problem started.
    If a user clicks on an attachment from one of our remote sites, and if the attachment is larger than 150kb the outlook client displays (not responding) for up to two minutes.  If you wait long enough the attachment will open without error.  It
    doesnt matter if its a word docuemnt, PDF, JPG they all respond the same.  There are several active application add-ins running I have not tried to disable  any of them yet.

    According to your description, I understand that all attachments in Outlook are opened slowly since updating Outlook 2003 to 2013. Please confirm whether all users encounter this issue. Also check whether the issue continues in cached mode and in OWA.
