ME57-Assign and Process Purchase Reqn

Hi Guys,
I tried to take a list of already closed PRs for a particular plant from Tcode:ME57.
I gave the plant-xxxx, scope of list - A and sort indicator 1.
I ALSO CHECKED THE CHECK BOX "Closed Requisitions" and executed it.
But i am getting only the open items and not the closed items of the P.R. Why is this? Is the system response correct or is there any OSS note for this?
Please post your views. The system is Version 4.7.
Thanks,
Kumar

Dear,
You can get close purchase requisition list with ME5A.
Enter ME5A.
Enter scope of list AVL,
Tick on closed purchase requisition, Requisition for overall release or item wise release.
Then click on execute button.

  • Merge several PR line into into 1 PO line item with ME57-Assign and process

Our process is run MRP to generate Purchase requisition, system generate 1 PR number for each materials. Happening that there are multiple PR for a same material number and same delivery date. When we convert PR to PO using tcode Me57 - Assign and Process PR, system always generate different line item for each PR even the materials and the requirement date is the same.
How to merge 2 or a few PR line items for a same material and same requirement date into 1 purchase order line item?

    Hi,
You should use the "shopping cart'' in the "Delivery Schedule" Tab page of the PO to achieve your requirement.  Basically, in this case, you should use ME21N transaction with ''Document Overview" feature to select related PR line items and drag them into this shopping cart.

  • Not able to assign and process PR in Tcode-me57

    Dear Friends,
I have created a PR manually. When i tried to create PO with T Code-ME57 after giving the selection criteria, system is throwing a message "No suitable PR's found".But i checked in the system for my PR by displaying it,it is available.then why the system is giving this message (only in me57 transaction).
Kindly help me in resolving this issue.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Pratap.

    Hi,
Automatic conversion of PR in to PO using transaction code ME59N. It is not possible to convert the PR in to PO by using ME57.
This transaction code- ME57 used to assign the sources like  vendor for the PR. Pre-requistic for this transaction base assignment you have already maintained Info record and source list for the material and vendor.
Pre requistic setting for the Automatic PO:
Flagged Automatic PO in SPRO->Inventory management->Goods receipt->create PO automatically
1.Automatic PO flagged at material master in purchasing view.
2.In Vendor master flagged Automatic PO in Purchasing data screen.
    3.Create Info Record.
    4.Maintain Source list.
    5.Create PR.
6.Convert Automatic PR in to PO via t-code ME59N.

  • ME57 different sort of purchase requisition

    Dear.
In trx. ME57 the purchase requisition are sorted by pur. Req. number.
I need to have a variant layout sorted them by material group and delivery date.
I don't find a variant layout for the item overview.
How can I do this ?
    Thanks.

In the selection screen is a small field where you can enter the sorting.
in case you use ALV Grid display, this sorting is ignored and you sort  by simply selecting a column and using the sorting buttons
as reference see OSS note Note 750886 - FAQ: Assignment and processing of PReqs (ME56, ME57, ME58)

  • What Message type and Process Code to use for Purchase Order Change in 4.6C

I like to implement in SAP R/3 4.6C a scenario for Purchase Order Change, via inbound IDoc.
I have been searching, but could not find what Message Type, Idoc Basic Type and Process Code to use.
I can not imagine this functionality does not exist in 4.6C.
Any suggestions for my problem are welcome.

    Hello,
In this case you should use the message PORDCH and BAPI method BAPI_PO_CHANGE but only exist as of release 4.7.
    Function module    BAPI_IDOC_INPUT1
    Idoc Type              PORDCH01
    Message Type      PORDCH
So check carefully the following OSS notes:

  • The Mrs. and I are receiving "The iTunes Store is unable to process purchases at this time. Please try again later." message whenever we try to update apps or purchase new apps. This is on two separate iPhone4's running 4.3.3

I haven't updated the iOS this week because I'm still working on resolving a separate issue, syncing playlists back to iTunes from the iPhone after a Snow Leopard restore.
FWIW-- The Mac Store on my MacBook also returns a similar error message when I try to update pixelmator and evernote. I get "The iTunes Store is unable to process purchases at this time.  Credit card processing is temporarily unavailable. You may continue to browse the store. Please try to make your purchase later."
After that error in the Mac Store, I immediately get the following error message: "We Could Not Complete Your Request.  There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (100)"

Try contacting iTunes via email to check if there is an issue with the account. go to apple.com/support/itunes
Click on iTunes Store account and billing and select inquiries. On the right side click on "email us".
Before doing that trying viewing your account information first. Open the iTunes on you mac, look at the menu and select store and select view my account. Try removing the card (this is only applicable if you don't have a pending charges with iTunes) and hit done. Sign out, quit iTunes and sign back in and try updating the apps again.

  • Prevent changes to ship-to and vendor address in Process Purchase Orders

    Hi SRM experts,
I have recently used BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI to affect the displays of fields and buttons in the shopping cart. I now need to change the displayed fields in the Process Purchase Order screens (Vendor Address and Ship-To address) to prevent edit. I've debugged in method BBP_PO_UI_CTRL and see screens 1000, 2200... 3000 etc. but can't see the screens and fields I need to affect. I suspect that I might be at the limitation of using the BADI or am I looking in the wrong place?
    Can anyone help?

    Hey,
i believe you have filter for shopping cart (BUS2121) in BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI. you need to do a seperate implementation for PO (BUS2201), Which should/must work for your requirement.
    Cheers, Renga

  • Account assignment of the incoming invoice and the purchase order

    Hi,
I am trying to control the account assignment of an incoming invoice against the account assignment of the purchase order used. The link I found is the field ZEKKN. I think RBCO-ZEKKN tells me what account assignment of the purchase order (EKKN-ZEKKN) I am using (just as RSEG-EBELN and RSEG-EBELP help to point the item of the PO used in the invoice). This link is working pretty well in 99% of my Pos and invoices. But sometimes when I create an assignment line in the PO, this line is created with a key EBELN, EBELP, ZEKKN = ‘02’, even if any assignment was created wit an ZEKKN = ‘01’.
In this case, when I park an invoice on this PO, the value of RBCO-ZEKKN is ‘01’ and not ‘02’ as in the table EKKN.
It is very annoying because the control I implement blocks the posting of the invoice..
Any idea or any new link between tables RBCO and EKKN will be very appreciable.
    Thanks in advance

Hi, I've got the same issue if someones has a clue it would be very helpfull

  • Can anyone help me with process of moving only my pics and music (purchased and imported cds) from a old G5 to a new iMac. Thanks Dan

Can anyone help me with process of moving only my pics and music (purchased and imported cds) from a old G5 to a new iMac. Thanks Dan

The easiest way is to connect the G5 and your new iMac together via Firewire.  Then you can use what is called "Target Disk Mode" which basically makes the G5 look like an external hard drive to your iMac.  The potential gotcha is if your new iMac does not have a Firewire port.  In that case, you need to get the Apple Thunderbolt-Firewire adapter in order to connect the two machines (as far as I know, all G5's had one or more Firewire ports).  I have done this many times, it's easy and works perfectly.
Alternatively, you could connect both Macs to the same network and log into the G5 from your iMac.  This involves going into System Preferences > Sharing on the G5 and turning on File Sharing and then logging in from your iMac to the G5 as if it were a server.   (Logging in through the Finder or via Go > Connect to Server).  This also works fine but it's a little more involved than using Target Disk Mode.  I do this all the time and it too works fine.
Either way, once the two Macs are connected, you will use the Finder on your iMac to copy files/folders from your G5 the same as you would from any external hard drive.  Regarding iTunes, you could just copy your entire iTunes library over to your iMac being careful to put it in the same relative folder location:   /users/yourusername/Music/iTunes   This method will preserve your playlists and album art.  Alternatively you could go into iTunes and do Add to Library but I'm not completely sure doing it that way will bring over your album art and it certainly won't bring over your playlists.
I see no reason to use a separate external hard drive.  It will just double the time it takes to transfer your files because you would first have to copy everything to the hard drive, then in a second step copy everything from the hard drive to your iMac.
Note:  In all cases there is the possibility that you may need to change file & folder permissions on the things you copy over so you can access (read & write) to these folders & files once copied to your new iMac.  This is not a difficult process.

  • Third Party and Individual Purchase Order

<b>Can anybody please send me the steps to configure the Return Process for both Third Party and Indvidual Purchase Orders.</b>

    dear sunil
    THIRD PARTY SCENARIO
in third-party order processing, your company does not deliver the items requested by a customer. Instead, you pass the order along to a third-party vendor who then ships the goods directly to the customer and bills you. A sales order may consist partly or wholly of third-party items. Occasionally, you may need to let a vendor deliver items you would normally deliver yourself.
    Process Flow
the processing of third-party orders is controlled via material types. Material types define whether a material is produced only internally can be ordered only from third-party vendors, or whether both are possible. For example, a material that is defined as a trading good can only be ordered from a third-party vendor. However, if you manufacture your own finished products, you may also want, from time to time, to be able to order the same type of product from other vendors.
    Processing Third-Party Orders in Sales
Third-party items can be created automatically by the system, depending on how your system is set. However, you can also change a standard item to a third-party item during sales processing manually.
    Automatic third-party order processing:-
if a material is always delivered from one or more third-party vendors, you can specify in the material master that the material is a third-party item. During subsequent sales order processing, the system automatically determines the appropriate item category for a third-party item: TAS. To specify a material as a third-party item, enter BANS in the Item category group field in the Sales 2 screen of the material master record.
    Manual third-party order processing
In the case of a material that you normally deliver yourself but occasionally need to order from a third-party vendor, you can overwrite the item category during sales order processing. For a material that you normally deliver yourself, you specify the item category group NORM in the material master.
If, as an exception, you use a third-party material, change the entry TAN to TAS in the ItCa field when processing the sales document. The item is then processed as third-party item.
If address data for the ship-to party is changed in the sales order in third-party business transactions, the changed data will automatically be passed on to purchase requisition and also to the purchase order ,if one already exists. In the purchase order, you can display the address data for the ship-to party in the attributes for the item.
You can only change the address data for the ship-to party in the sales order for third-party business transactions, and not in the purchase order.
    Processing Third-Party Orders in Purchasing
when you save a sales order that contains one or more third-party items, the system automatically creates a purchase requisition in Purchasing. Each third-party item in a sales order automatically generates a corresponding purchase requisition item. During creation of the requisition, the system automatically determines a vendor for each requisition item. If a sales order item has more than one schedule line, the system creates a purchase requisition item for each schedule line.
Purchase orders are created from purchase requisitions in the usual way. For more information about creating purchase orders, see the Purchasing documentation. During creation of the purchase order, the system automatically copies the delivery address of your customer from the corresponding sales order. In a sales order, you can enter purchase order texts for each third-party item. When you create the corresponding purchase order, the texts are automatically copied into the purchase order. The number of the purchase order appears in the document flow information of the sales order.
All changes made in the purchase order are automatically made in the sales order as well. For example, if the vendor confirms quantities and delivery dates different from those you request and enters them in the purchase order, the revised data is automatically copied into the sales order
you process third-party items by creating a normal sales order. In overview for the order, you can then overwrite the default item category (TAN in the standard system) with the special item category for third-party items: TAS
    Billing Third-Party Orders
If relevance for billing indicator for the item category has been set to B (relevant for order-related billing on the basis of the order quantity) in Customizing, the system includes the order in the billing due list immediately. If, however, the indicator has been set to F (relevant to order-related billing on the basis of the invoice quantity), the system does not include the order in the billing due list until an invoice from the vendor has been received and processed by the purchasing department. In the standard system, item category TAS (third-party order processing) has been given billing-relevance indicator F.
In the first case, the third-party order is considered to be completely billed only when the invoiced quantity equals the order quantity of the sales order item. In the second case, each time a vendor invoice is received, a customer invoice is created for the quantity in the vendor invoice and the order is considered to be fully invoiced until the next vendor invoice is received.
If you have activated billing-relevance indicator F for item categories in Customizing, billing can refer to the goods receipt quantity instead of the incoming invoice quantity.
You can control whether the invoice receipt quantity or the quantity of goods received is relevant for billing in Customizing for copying control for billing at item level.
FOR YOUR PROCESS Individual Purchase Orders WELL GIVE THE RIGHT SOLUTION
Individual purchase orders are used when your customer orders goods from you that are not in stock and must be ordered from one or more external vendors.
    Process Flow
During sales order entry, the system automatically creates a purchase requisition item. The purchasing department creates a purchase order based on the requisition and the vendor ships the goods directly to you (unlike third party order processing, where the vendor ships directly to your customer). You then ship the goods to your customer. While the goods are part of your inventory, you manage them as part of the sales order stock. Sales order stock consists of stock that is assigned to specific sales orders and cannot be used for other purposes.
Process Flow for 3rd Party Sales
Customize the third party sales in summary:
    Prerequisites for 3rd party sales,
    Purchasing org,
    purchasing group,
assign the Purchase org to company code
    assign Purchase org to plant,
should not maintain the stock in material, it should be trading goods,
    1. Create Vendor XK01
    2. Create Material – Material Type as "Trading Goods". Item category group as "BANS".
    3. Assign Item Category TAS to Order type that you are going to use.
    4. A sale order is created and when saved a PR is generated at the background
    5. With reference to SO a PO is created (ME21N). The company raises PO to the vendor.
    6. Vendor delivers the goods and raises bill to company. MM receives the invoice MIRO
    7. Goods receipt MIGO
    8. Goods issue
    9. The item cat TAS or Schedule line cat CS is not relevant for delivery which is evident from the config and, therefore, there is no delivery process attached in the whole process of Third party sales.

  • ME57: Assign Automatically

I am looking to assign Requisitions to Purchase orders through the use of the Assign Automatically option in transaction ME57. I have info records and source lists created. My question is how are the expiration dates used from the info record and source list? If my source list expires, does this mean that the Req will not be automatically assigned? Also, if my info record condition expires before the source list, what happens in this case?
Ultimately, I am looking for the most efficient way to work with Source Lists and info records so that Purchase Orders are created timely while pricing is kept up to date. If something has not been ordered in a while, what is the best way to ensure that I need to issue an RFQ before converting to PO.
    Thanks for your help.

    Hi,
The system will use the start and end dates in source lists (and available dates in info records) in its decision to allocate a source and so if the date has expired the source will NOT be automatically allocated.
Have you tried the ME59 option? It makes the process even more automatic, with ME57 there is user input required, but with ME59 the whole thing works without further input and many organisations set ME59 up as a batch job run overnight.
ME59 only works if the material AND the vendir have the "automatic PO flag" set on and ONLY if there is one single source (taking into account source lists etc.) for the material.
Most people use ME59 in batch and then the only requisitions left to manage in ME57 are the ones with multiple or no source.

  • Status Change for Purchase order in Process Purchase order

    Hi All,
We have implemented SRM 4.0 with Extended Classic scenario.
SRM does provide standard status for Process Purchase order worklist (such as Ordered, Held, Error in Process etc.). Is there any BADI i can use to overright my own status message for the PO.
To give brief background of the requirement. Client wanted status to be changed to "Cancel" For POs whose all the line items we have deleted or "Close" when Last delivery or Final Invoice check is ticked.
I am aware that i can use BBP_DOC_SAVE_BADI as structure BBP_PDS_ITEM i can get items deletion indicator. But will i able to change the standard Status message?
Presently even though all line items marked delete still shows PO as "Ordered" status.
Kindly let me know if i can acheive with anyway.
    Thank you
    Ritesh

    Hi Masa,
Thank you for your response. I have few doubts about the configuration which you have suggested.
    - Define Status schema for User status will create a status Profile in which i have to include my own status. In the document of Define Status Schema it specifies that After creating User profile you have to assign same profile to transaction types. (I.e. BUS2201 or BUS2121 etc).
My concern is will my own status profile over-write the standard status which is coming? such as Ordered, Created, Transmission fail etc.
If so then do i have to create status profile to include all the Standard Status message in it as well?
    - Other thing i found that Ordering PO goes through many standard status message (COMP, CRTD, CTRA, DCOM, ORDR) and always the last status in the Hearder will display on  ITS level. Is my understanding right?
    - I found that there is a standard system status message I1045 (BECN Cancel) Can i use this through BADI?
    Kindly let me know.
    Thank you once again.
    Regards
    Ritesh
