Memo creation with one day difference / Missing fe...

Hi,
I have a N70 and the PC Suite is version 7.1.51.0.
Whenever I create a memo (calendar) or edit it, the Communication Centre saves it as one day earlier.
Well, I just wanted to report this bug. I searched here in forum I've found some people with similar.
I can't understand how Nokia let this kind of bug pass...
And don't even has an official bug report channel (one like contact us, so we can make our product better).
BTW, I already have reported by some weird channel (a survey I guess) that I also can't figure out why PC Suite does not manage (create/edit/delete) Notes...

I too am having the same issue only I am in Regina, Canada. iCloud appears to think Regina, Canada is in the Central time zone which it is, but it does not use Daylight Savings time. My PC is Windows 7 and I am using Outlook 2010. I have iCloud on iPhone 5 and iPad 2. Terribly frustrating!

Getting one day difference in add_months function

when i am using the add_months for a
particular days i am getting one day
difference
ex : select add_months(to_date('30-aug-2000',

result : 30-nov-2002
select add_months(to_date('30-nov-2000','DD-mon-YYYY'),-27) from dual;
result : 31-aug-2000.
differnce between : 31-aug-2000 and 30-aug-2000
is comming

When you are passing the last day in the month to the add_month function ( 30-NOV-2002) it will always return the last day in the resulting month ( 31-AUG-2000).
This is a known Oracle bug and you'll need to create your own logic for adding month to avoid this problem. You can use last_day function in there.

You can use transaction code ST03N.
1. Go to tx code - ST03N
2. Under "Workload" you can select your "Instance or Total" so that it expands and shows you Days, Week, Month.
3. If you want to look at the transactions executed for a particular day, lets say, then double click on any day.
4. At the bottom left you get "Analysis Views"
5. Select & expand "User and Settlement Statistics"
6. Double click on "User Profile"
7. On the right side of the window you get a list of all the users
8. Double click on a particular user you want to view the details of.
9. The new screen will display the "Transactions/Reports Utilized by User XXX"
If you wanna track which users executed a particular transacation then follow this:
10. In "Analysis Views" expand "Transaction Profile"
11. Double click on "Standard"
You can view the list of Transactions and Reports.
12. Double click on the Tx Code or Report you wanna check and it will show the Use of it.

Multiple Schema Creation with One Source system Via SLT

Hi all,
we have BW on HANA environment at our company premises, with SLT server installed
So, my Question is that is it possible to create more than one schema in HANA system with one Source system
As an example, lets say, ECC (Client 601) Source System has been connected to HANA via SLT and created Schema called SCHEMA_1 and again i want to create SCHEMA_2 by connecting same ECC (Client 601) source System.
please help me to short this out?

Full-day event created from todo item with one day off

Can anyone reproduce this?
1) Create a todo item
2) In week view, drag-and-drop it to create a full-day event
Expected Results:
A full day event is created on the day onto which I dropped the todo item.
Actual Results:
The event is created the THE DAY BEFORE the one onto which I dropped the todo item...!?

When importing from the Finder, i.e. a folder on the hard drive, all of the photos will be in a single Event unless that checkbox that's pointed to in the screenshot is checked.
FWIW my workflow is to upload after every shoot to a folder, name the folder to identify the occasion of the photos and import the folder into iPhoto. This gives me an Event with the same name as the folder. I also rename the photos with the international date format for the date the photos were taken: YYYY-MM-DD-001.jpg, -002.jpg, etc. This avoids duplicate file name issues that can crop up at a later date.
I then have the camera reformat the memory card for the next shoot.

My current program statement is :
LOOP AT it_bdc.
READ TABLE it_konv WITH KEY
      vbeln = it_bdocs-vbeln.
currency =   it_konv-waers.
endloop.
as you can see the posnr is missing in it_konv how can i modify this read statement so
that vbeln posnr from it_bdc should get correct kbetr from it_konv.
Kindly help in this mapping.

sort it_konv by vbeln
then
loop at it_bdc.
read table it_konv with key vbeln = it_bdc-vbeln binary search.
if sy-subrc = 0.
perform your logic/task.
endif.
endloop.
also it depends what you want to do after reading it_konv.
in my logic if there is a vbeln in it_konv which s present in it_bdc then sy-subrc will be 0
and you can perform your logic.
and if there will be no matching vbeln in it_konv then sy-subrc will not be 0.
check the values in debugging.

Credit memo creation with BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2

Is it, or is it not possible, to use BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 to create for Credit Memos with passsing of data while calling the bapi ? Can someone please let me know if they have successfully implemented this scenario?

BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2 doesn't support to post credit memos.
Make use of FM "SD_SALESDOCUMENT_CREATE" to post.
It supports to post all kinds of sales document and infact it internally uses the BAPI "BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT2" with necessary handle of code to post credit memo...

Outlook 2000 calendar sync with one hour difference into the iPhone

Good morning,
I've two iPhone (one 3G and one 3GS) and both have the same issue. When I sync them with iTunes everything works fine but when I check the calendar entries on my iPhones everything is one hour later than the ones on my Outlook 2000. I've already checked the GMT setting on both Outlook and Windows, also the iPhone sync with my computer time and GMT when I connect it to the docking station so they are always the same.
Anyone has an idea about what is going wrong? Or is just a Outlook 2000 sync issue since I recall to have read somewhere that it's not a supported version?

Outlook 2000 is not supported. For contacts, these are the only supported Windows applications: Outlook 2003 & 2007, Windows Address Book (Outlook Express), Vista Windows Contacts, Yahoo! Address Book, Google Contacts. For calendars: Outlook 2003 & Outlook 2007.

How to revert a database back to one day previous state.

Of course, if no backup, then no restore.
However, unfortunately there is NO database backup available i.e. export/expdp/OS Backup/RMAN/Flashback. But, the requirement is to prepare another database on another server with one day back state. So, can we take fresh backup of the database which has all the archived logs, and restore it on another server as one day back previous state.
Is there any possible way to do this by using existing archive logs? Can LogMiner help in this regard?

Technically you could get lucky - but I wouldn't want to pretend that the following procedure is sensible or a safe way to back out a production system.
If you have all the archived redo logs since the moment you want to get back to then you could, in principle, copy the database, run up logminer and extract all the UNDO_SQL that it gives you from the present back to the point in time you want to get to. You can then apply this, one transaction at a time, in reverse order of original application.
Problems I can think of:
<ul>
a) It's likely to take a long time to do this, and you'll probably want to have a lot of manual control and checking.
b) If you've done any drop tables or truncate tables in the interval you can't reverse them out.
c) If you've done any nologging dataloads you won't be able to reverse those out
d) There may be some data types that logminer won't cope with
</ul>
Other people may like to supply more reasons why this is not a good idea for a production system - but it might just be good enough to solve whatever problem you have.

BPM Java WebDynpro xsd:date decrease one day

Hi Experts.
I have a problem with the context between Java WebDynpro and BPM. I have an attribute of date type , when BPM call the Web Dynpro UI, this date it shows to user with one day minus, but in BPM Context and Web Dynpro context are with the correct date.
I checked the BPM context and the value of this attribute is: "2011-08-06Z".
I think that the problem is with the "Z" because it's like a time zone.
Any suggestions?

We faced the same issue as you, and after doing all checks in configuration, nothing!, finally we found a SAP note that recommends to change the date type to string types, but, we have a lot of webservices calls and mappings that requieres a "date" type and this make more dificult the "solution".
Then we found a little tricky solution.
We change the webdynpro Date types to Strings, and make the transformation in bpm mapping to cast as xsd:date, finally in webdynpro you must perform a string.format for the outgoing date as BPM is specting the date ( "YYYY-MM-DD")
With this solution you see a "date" type in BPM context and String type in Webdynpro and the offtset disappears.
This solution maybe is similar to SAP Note, but you don't need to change all your consumed webservices types.

Try removing the com.apple.iCal.plist file from your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder. To find that Library folder, if you are using Lion, use Finder>Go Menu>Depress the "Option" key>Library. Drag the .plist file to your desktop, and log out/in or restart.
Next, make sure that you are not connected to the internet. Then to to your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Calendars Folder and remove any files with "Cache" as a part of the file name. Use the same method as listed above to get to the correct Library Folder. Log out/in, or restart and check iCal for functionality.

My ipod classic, have these problem:
One day I find out that all the music was completely gone, I always charged the ipod on Ihome.
So, I connect the ipod to my computer to sync the music, but mi computer recognize the ipod as a memory device. so delete itunes from my computer, following some support guides that i found in the mac support web. Again, it didnt work. The itunes doesnt detect it.
then I try to sync on a macbook, then it told it was corrupted i should restore th ipod, i try it but this could not be done... cause an error occur.
How I can restore my ipod...

Does both your Windows and Macbook iTunes have the same library of songs?
if it does then, much easier to proceed, else try to load the Macbook with the same library as Windows.
Note that only one of the Macbook USB port is good for iPod Classic, the other is too slow and may cause timeout, and I would suggest disconnect all other USB devices, while you Restore or Sync the iPod Classic.
Connect the iPod to the Mac, (if iTunes launch, please close it back.)
Use Disk Utility -> select the iPod Device->First Aid->Repair (use option FAT32)
After the Repair complete, eject the iPod.
Connect back to the Mac
When iTunes launch, Restore the iPod when Prompted, (use FAT32)
Sync your library.

Well, it doesn't mean that at all. You can download music purchased with an Apple ID to up to 10 devices. There is no 90 day wait. The wait is if you change the Apple ID.
