Merging 2 Skype Accounts

Question

I have 2 skype accounts 1 was my personal account and created a seperate one for work but now i want to merge the 2 together so i just have one account. how do you merge 2 skype accounts together?

Hi, stuartbennett, and welcome to the Community,
Skype does not permit accounts to be merged.  Further, subscriptions and credit are tied to the accounts for which they were purchased; Skype does not permit subscriptions or credit to be transferred from one account to another even if the accounts are "owned" by the same person.
You would have to cancel the subscription and request reimbursement of the credit from the account where you do not need it, and purchase anew for the account where such items are needed.
I think part of this mystery can be understood if we consider that we must send or receive and accept contact invitations for each individual Skype account name which we add to our contact list.   Merging accounts would mean contact updates would have to be sorted and sent to everyone where the account name(s) appear, and Skype does not provide such a facility.
