Message: Enter a country for partner xyz with type 'requester'

We are using SRM Server 500.
I am customizing a new installation. When I create a SC in classic scenario using "Describe Requirement" I get following messages:
"Enter a country for partner 0000000081 with type requester."
"Enter a country for partner 0000000081 with type goods recipient."
I didn't enter a source of supply, the partner number 0000000081 is a BP that belongs to the user in who creates the SC, as I can see in ppoma_bbp.
All org-units are matched up in TA BBP_BP_OM_INTEGRATE.
In TA BP I checked the address of 0000000081. Everything is ok, country is entered. What I cannot find is Partner type 'Requester' or 'Goods Recipient' in TA BP.
I never had this Problem befor and I customized a few SRM, EBP, BBP, B2B systems. Has anybody an idea?

one of our users is also facing the same issue when she is trying to cancel one confirmation in srm 7. DO you have any idea how can i check the consistency of the user in SRM7 as BBP_CHECK_USERS are not working in my SRM7 system.

We have faced a similar problem in our previous Implementation.
This is happening in some cases, where the configuartion settingas are not correctly done.
After several tentatives, I managed to solve it activing on the Customizing for Multicompany in one client.
I have accessed to table BBPC_MARKETSET (Status of selection in a market set system) through SM30 and I have just removed the flag "Configure Market Set Procurement".
Also, another option,
check your Enhancements (customer specific) because this is a clear logical error.
The same partner function is added twice, hence it must be deleted programmatically in the enhancement logic.
FYI.. I usually encountered same type of issues in almost every implementation.

How to generate an application-specific password
Unlike a verification code that you receive from your phone or through Google Authenticator, application-specific passwords are generated. You don’t have to memorize them, ever - you simply generate a new one each time you need to sign into a particular application. Follow the steps below to generate your application-specific password:
Visit the Authorizing applications & sites page (pictured below) under your Google Account settings.

Emulation for partner link with async operation and no callback client

In our Composite, we are calling a partner link with operation 'XYZAsync'. It is called in async mode and there is no callback client attached to this call. Hence, it is not possible to create emulation for it ( Create new emulate option is unavailable for the particular operation).
We are facing the following issues:
1. Jdev is unable to generate the sample XML.
2. When we tried to add emulation, the "+ icon" is not high lighted.

Multiple Message Processors in IB52 for partner determination rule 13200137

Hello Experts,
Can anyone please help me out in one of my issues? I am configuring service desk wherein I need to have only one layer of support team. One consultant for each module. I am using SLFN0001_ADVANCED. I am using rule 13200137 for partner determination. I am using IBASE for determining the message processor.
While determining automatic message processor, IBASE is not allowing more than 1 Message processor. So, all the messages created are getting allocated to single message processor only.
In TRN PFAC, rule simulation for the rule 13200137 is working fine, as per the Org model defined in TRN ppopma_crm.
Can anyone please help me out?

Hope, you are trying to assign more than one partner Function (Message Processor) to a service Desk Message. In such case, check for the max limit of partner function allowed for Message processor in the Partner Determination Procedure in your Transaction Type (SLFN).
The partner function category for the Message Processor Partner Function is Person Responsible. You may face issues in assigning more than one partner function of the same partner function category in a Transaction; If so, kindly refer to sap note 844503.

How can I enter "Flate rates for travel costs" with more than 2 decimals?

Hi expert,
I want to enter flat rates for travel costs in table T706F.
I have a figure with more than 2 decimals (0,066), but I cannot save it, because only 2 decimals are allowed for EUR.
I don't want to change the decimals for this currency.
I found OSS note 446116 which is release independent. It is a note of 30.10.2001.
It suggests to create a new currency e.g. EUR3 and enter translation ratio's and exchange rates.
This seems pretty drastic.
Do you know if there is another way to handle this issue?

They confirm that OSS note 446116 can be used to create flat rates for travel costs with more than 2 decimals.
I will create a new currency (EUR3) with the description "for travel expenses only".

Specifying byte stream type for Read File with Type Descriptor

Hi.
I'm trying to write a VI that reads an image file format that can have
different datatypes. What I have so far is that I open the file, read
the header, and get the width, height, number of frames, and datatype.
I calculate number of pixels by nrows*ncols*nframes with no problem,
but I'm not sure how to tell Read File the correct datatype to read
the data into.
I tried using a Case structure where I have a Read File in each case
with the correct type constant as input for that case. The problem is
that the tunnel graduates the datatype to the highest representation.
I found in Application Note 154 the discussion about Type Descriptors.
Is there a way to generate a Type Descriptor and output it from a C
ase
structure? I tried just returning the value (e.g. 0x0402 for a Word),
but Read File will just see that the byte stream type is a uint32.
Is there any other way to do this?

Don't worry about being a newbie. We all start there. Keep asking this type of question and you won't stay there long.
As you are discovering, being strictly typed means that you must rewrite code even for a simple data type change, or convert everything to the same data type first. For image data, conversion can result in a lot of extra space being wasted. Use a modified version of the GLV_WaveformBuffer.vi to hold your data. Use the array functions, which operate inline, to add to and delete the data wires in the buffer. This allows you to save several different data types. You will need several different inputs and outputs to handle these data types. I ha
ve also attached a similar file created for exactly the problem you have - storing arrays of different data types (data from NI-SCOPE devices, in this case - can be float, I8, I16, or I32).
Routines that take any type work in one of two ways. LabVIEW primitives, such as plus and minus operators, work by figuring out the type and doing the right thing in the C code layer of the LabVIEW environment. Users of LabVIEW can't do this. Users can make polymorphic VIs. Polymorphic VIs are actually a single VI for every data type that are referenced by a "wrapper", the polymorphic VI. Users still need to write a different VI for every data type they need.
Take home message - if you need to work with different data types, you will need to rewrite your code for every data type or convert your data to a common data type. Polymorphic VIs and case statements are your friend.

Dimmer control for LED lights with HTTP Requests

Hello,
I'm al little bit know with LabVIEW, but I have a problem that I can't get fixed.
For a project we control the led lights in a house with http requests (we use the http get request): this exists of a http address, the number of the light, the PWM (the brightness of the led) and the current.
Controlling the lights with the switches is easy and is working fine. Now what we want to do is create a dimmer that can be controlled with the switches in the rooms.
The following should happen: if the users clicks one time (so lets say for less than a second) than the light should just switch on. If he/she pushes the light switch and keeps pushing it than the light should dim.
So the value of the PWM (and this is a string value) should change from 0 to (lets say) 100 when pushing it once, and it should decrease form 100 tot 0 (step by step) when the user keeps pushing the button. The thing I'm having difficulties with is making a difference between just clicking once and keeping the button pushed for a few seconds in the labview software.
Any tips or ideas? Any Help is Welcome!

It sounds like everything else is working and your problem is to detect the button action details.
Are you talking about a real physical switch or is this a switch on the LbVIEW front panel?
All you need to do is detect a off->on transition, When it occurs, place the current tick count into a shift register, then subtract it from the tick count in subsequent iterations (as long as the button is TRUE). Change your output as a function of the elapsed time until the button is released.

JMS Messages keep on growing for a Topic with non-durable consumers

I have a JMS Server whose "Messages Current" keeps on growing after every message send to the topic. All the consumers are non-durable. The session is a non-transacted session with Auto Accknowledge parameter. My client does recieve the message, but it does not go down from the "Messages Current" in the WLS console. Also once the server is restarted, the messages go down to 0.
I am using 9.2 SP2 on a Solaris environment.
Any insight would be helpful

It's possible that one or more the subscribers is stalled for some reason and so is not actually receiving and processing messages. This would cause messages to accumulate. You can examine statistics for individual consumers on the console to see if this is an issue.
Also, there could be a durable subscription on the topic left over from some previous application you used with the topic. There are statistics for these as well.
Yet another possibility is that the clients are receiving the messages but are failing to acknowledge/commit them. You wrote that the sessions are "auto-acknowledge" but they could accidentally be "transacted". Check to make sure that the first parameter passed to "createSession" is true (it should be false), and that the second parameter is set to auto-acknowledge.
Finally, if you happen to be using a distributed topic, keep in mind that if one of the topic members is unavailable/crashed/down messages will accumulate on the other distributed topic members until the unavailable member is restarted (at which point they will be forwarded to the restarted member).
