Message no. GA749 on PSW5 - Actual periodic repsting

Hello,
When I try to execute the actual periodic reposting for WBS (KSW5) the system does not include in calculation the costs that been previously allocated to de sender by actual distribution (KSV5) from the cost center.
Is anybody meet the problem and can give me a hint?
Moreover I performed the same case on IDES system and its took to calculation the previously allocated cost to WBS from CC.

Please check attached note 64805, point 4:
(A sender is not found or does not allocate the posted amounts)
> Afterwards, check whether there are really values on the
database. Start report RKACSHOW in Transaction SE38. Enter the
controlling area and the object (cost center, activity type,
order...). In the bottom part, specify the value type (01 for
plan and 04 for actual data), the version and the cost element.
Execute the report. The system then displays a list of database
tables. Sender values are read by tables COSPA and COSSA.
(Periodic reposting only reads from COSPA, indirect activity
allocation on COSLA). Double-click to display all totals
records of a table.Now check whether postings exist in the
relevant periods for the criteria that you entered. For help in
this case, you can start report RK811HLP as a utility.

This transaction can be used for distribution or reposting of an actual cost received at one/ more object to many controlling objects. For using this reposting, you need to first define a cycle and for that you can use S_ALR_87005395 - Define Periodic Reposting Transaction code.

Actual Periodic reposting of Cost center to PM order

Hi ,
My requirement is to have some periodic cycle to repost certain cost from Cost center to the Plant Maintenance order.
When i tried to create distribution cycle or Actual periodic reposting cycle , i get an error message Business transaction for actual reposting not allowed for Maintenance order !!!.
Can some one confirm that in Std SAP is it possible , what extra customisation i need to do have this kind of cycle set up?

Payroll's Error message: Posting balance is not cleared (period 02 / 2014 a)

Dear Experts,
I am new to SAP HR. And would like get help for this issue
After EHP 6 upgarde, when process the payroll, system prompt this error message: Posting balance is not cleared (period 02 / 2014 a).
Checked the RT and it showed that the tax employee deduction was RM90.93. But when it comes to payslip display the tax amount showed different figure of RM90.94 which might be the cause for “posting balance is not cleared” message

SCOM 2012 R2 installing on SQL 2012 SP1 - Error Code: 0x80131904, Exception.Message: Timeout expired. The timeout period elapsed prior to completion of the operation or the server is not responding.

I am getting an issue during a SCOM 2012 R2 installation while creating the SCOM DataWarehouse database. Setup seems to timeout during creating the datawarehouse database. I can see all database files created in windows explorer on the SQL server before
setup rolls the SCOM install back.
Has anyone seen this issue before or know how to help resolve it?

Hi,
Based on the log, I recommend you use the following way to test SQL connectivity.
You can use a UDL file to test various connectivity scenarios, create a simple text file, rename the extension from TXT to UDL, fill out the necessary information on the connection tab then test the connection, and troubleshoot as necessary
if it fails to connect.

How the system know the actual period in the Production startup of ML?

Hi experts:
I have a question:
We want to make a prototipe of Material Ledger/Actual Costing.
At first we want to make a copy of all the information of one Client for example until 31.11.2009 to another Client.
I have readed that when you make the Production Startup process of ML, the system transfers inventory quantities, inventory values and prices from material master records to the material ledger data for the current period, the previous period, and the last period of the previous year.
The question is How the system can determinate the actual period??.. Is this based on the MM logistic periods??.
At last if we do the copy of all the existing movements to our client until 31.11.2009 but the MM logistic period was 03/2010, What is the Actual Period for Material Ledger at the moment that I realize the Production startup?.

When you have finished the production startup, the system does the following:
Transaction Data
1. Transfers inventory quantities, inventory values and prices from material master records to the material ledger data for the current period, the previous period, and the last period of the previous year
2.- Calculates the inventory values and prices in the currencies of the material ledger at the current date using the stated exchange rate type
3.- Amends the purchase order histories with the set currencies, using the settings for additional currencies found in Customizing for Financial Accounting
Like you said in your last replay, this process ONLY transfer (Quantities and values related to the inventory??
What happend with the goods movements which have already exists in SAP before you set Valuation areas as Productive in ML??..

200 message limit during one 24 hour period

on several occasions I have been locked out of my ability to send messages, and have gotten a message saying that I had sent more than 200 messages in the last 24 hours. How can I change this so that I am not locked once I have sent that many messages-in this case I couldn't help it-I was required by my employer to forward him all of the messages I had sent in the last several months, and that added up to more than 200-is there a setting like Storage preferences which I can change so that I am not limited by this 200 message limit, which I have hit several times, for the same reason?

Does your employer provide you an email account and if so, why aren't you using your employer's email account with Mail to do their business or for their request?
ALL ISPs and email account providers have sending limits for non-business personal accounts - repeat ALL.
My ISP does not have a total recipient limit for each message sent but does have an overall recipient limit for all messages sent in a 24 hour period which can be reached with a single message.
There is also a limit for the number of messages sent in a 24 hour period but I've never reached or exceeded any such limits imposed by my ISP or by Apple with my .Mac account but I don't use my personal .Mac account for my employer's business or their requests.
I'm certainly no baby and I've always used either account for personal use only which is what non-business email accounts are designed and intended for and the reason for such restrictions along with part of an overall effort to prevent bulk spam mailings emanating from an ISP's or email account provider's domain.
Your employer should provide you an email account which should be a BUSINESS account and have no sending restrictions or more liberal restrictions.

If you log into ExportPDF with this same Adobe ID, you should see that your service has unlimited conversions.
(The error you describe usually occurs when you log into the service with an Adobe ID which is different than the Adobe ID you used to purchase the subscription.)

BDC or BAPI for Actual period Locking

I have to deveop the SE38 program with a selection screen which should contain following fields.
1) Controlling Area
2) Fiscal period,
3) Fiscal year
4) Version,
5) Actual/Plan
6) Lock/Unlock
7) Business transaction.
My requirement is if user creates a variant by giving proper values and runs the job, it should lock the given the business transactions.Functionally this task will be done by functional people in OKP1 transaction code (CO-Controlling.)
Please suggest me if any BAPI is there and shall I go ahead with BDC.
The problem if i go with BDC is, some times user may scroll down the table control depending on the given values. So how to satisfy this condition.

I know this is an old post, but in case someone else comes across it while searching for a solution to this same problem (as I did), Sanjeev Kumar has written a document, Automate Period Opening in SAP which, among other things, discusses using report RKCOOKP1 (Set Period Locks in Batch) to set or delete period locks in controlling (OKP1). In addition to scheduling a job for RKCOOKP1 as the document demonstrates, you could also call RKCOOKP1 programmatically with SUBMIT report ... AND RETURN.

Why is the time different on my iphone4 for messages and reminders to the actual time on my phone

I have had to set the time zone on my phone manually as it is wrong. so now that shows correctly. However when i set a reminder and get messages. They show up as a different time zone altogether. So my reminders are coming through 12 hours too late. How can I fix this? I have tried resetting the time manually and automatically.

Use a Secondary CE in actual Periodic Repostings cycle

Hi,
I need your help to figure out how to move on with this process. May you help me out?
I want to settle a CE group for a CC group to some WBS "dummy" with different percentage on the receiver tracing factor. Afterwards I would like to settle each WBS "dummy" to a specific WBS group basing on actual statistical key figures.
Said that, I tried to use KSU5 for the first step (sender CC group and CE groups; receiver WBS "dummy" with an assessment CE) and then I used KSW3 (sender WBS "dummy" and the assessment CE; receiver WBS created group) for the second step.
The system blocks us though because I can't use a Secondary CE as a sender. Is there a way to fix it?
Should I have to find a workaround?
It should be useful to run KSU5 for the second step as well, but the system doesn't let us use the WBS "dummy" as a sender. Is there a way to add the WBS field in the transaction? (maybe through customizing).

Why assesment, use distribution (KSV2) instead.
In assesment, the movement is always using secondary and this is causing problem doing the 2nd step.
I would suggest, use distribution and then as 2nd step use KB11N for WBS to WBS reposting or KB15N for allocation.
Let's see others views on this.

BAPI_PR_CHANGE, successul message but commit does not actually update

I am testing in SE37 BAPI_PR_CHANGE. In the result msg I get these messages:
Purchase requisition 10013879 changed
Instance 10013879 of object type PurchaseRequisition has been changed.
and in the line item I get a qty update I'm expecting. I then do a BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT but when I go to look at the PR in the SAP GUI the qty update does not appear.
Any ideas? Perhaps, I am missing something in the structure that I should check.

are you using the TESTRUN parameter.. if so then the bapi runs in a stimulous mode and doesnt really do what its supposed to do.

Suppress COL and ROW based actual period and previous one

Hi!
Here is a problem I am trying to solve:
Lets say you have in COL a list of products and in ROW a list of client.
Most of the products bought by the client are the same month after month...
Most of the clients are the same month after month...
So I would like my COL to suppress depending on period N and period N-1 because my products hardly change. To add a new one, I will put the INSERT = Y in my expansion.
I would like my ROW to suppress depending on period N and period N-1 because in the long list of my clients, only some of them buy my products. To add new clients, I will put the INSERT = Y in my expansion.
I hope the definition of my problem above is good, here is how I try to solve it in my EVDRE;

For your information, I also raised a ticket at SAP Support Portal from this problem. I will keep you updated with this problem.
