Metadata values not showing in Site Studio layout using Idoc Script

Hi All,
We have a SS layout (secondary) with replaceable regions for showing content that is listed in a primary page dynamic list.
Part of the layout shows contribution elements of Contributor Data File content items, but part of layout also shows metadata values. We use  to show the content item Title with no problems.
However, for some content items, some metadata values are not showing on the layout - specifically a custom metadata field called xFinishDate (which is of type 'Date' in Config Man). The code  simply does not work (nothing is displayed) for some content items, despite definitely having a set FinishDate value. Some other content items show this value fine.
The  value works for ALL items, but the  does not, and there appears to be no difference between the items that it does, and does not work for. They are all CDF, same DocType, same CheckIn profile, etc.
The non-working items are all released and indexed. Their Content Information in Content Server shows complete metadata. I have resubmitted the non-working items for reconversion in Repo Man but no luck.
Is there something I am missing? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Actually the default DOC_INFO resultset that is on the page seems to be for the content item being loaded into the secondary layout's replaceable regions. This is why DOC_INFO.dDocTitle gives the results expected.
However, I think I have discovered why the xFinishDate value was not showing. Using sapan's code (and modifying it a bit) I was able to print out all the metadata field names and values for default DOC_INFO resultset.
Using this URL as an example: http://www.bond.edu.au/about-bond/jobs-at-bond/BD3_011217
At the top of page region (replaceable) where the Contributor Data File is loaded into, the DOC_INFO resultset is relevant to the content item that is being loaded into the layout (content ID: BD3_011217 - as per the URL format), which is what we want.
However, throughout the Contributor Data File content, if a link is made using the Site Studio link wizard via FCK Editor (in the above case, it is the position description link, which is a link to a PDF) and the link is 'Link to a file' and the 'Choose Target section' is selected as 'Use default website section metadata', the resulting link looks like "http://www.bond.edu.au/about-bond/jobs-at-bond/BD3_011216". Any references to the DOC_INFO resultset on the page after the instance of this link now use the metadata of the content item referred to in the link, not the original content item. I have dumped out the DOC_INFO fields/values in different parts of the layout to prove this. The linked content item has no xFinishDate value so this is why nothing displays (displaying xFinishDate needs to happen after the link to the position description).
I guess I need to either:
- change the way the link is made to the content item to "Link to the Content Item's URL", but I would prefer not to expose the resulting path e.g. "[!--$HttpRelativeWebRoot--]groups/group-name/@account-name/documents/content-type/content-id.pdf"
- explicitly make a resultset using  with the content ID I know I want and use it instead of the default DOC_INFO one. Is there any other way to make a resultset comprising of a single item's metadata?

This has been an ongoing issue with this camera for a long time. Search the list here or Google the issue to see the many posts on this.
For whatever reason Aperture is unable to report that data. Some have written that it is because the that particular lens/camera combination does not report the f stop information.

We have upgraded our Mysite from 2010 to 2013, after upgrading User metadata values is showing as plain text where
as in 2010 it has shown as hyperlinks.
In Mysite 2010 by clicking on user metadata for favorite sports, Favorite Movies etc...it will give the results from search containing same value for other user
by going to search results page. After upgrading it to 2013 (with 2010 UI) and running full crawls, I am able to search by clicking on any user property.
After upgrading look and feel to 2013 version these fields showing as plain text. Can anyone suggest how can we get hyperlinks and how can we make user
metadata searchable directly by clicking on Property value from Mysite. Below screen print explain you the difference clearly.

Hi Inderjeet, thanks for the update.
I am running with SP1 + july2014 CU.
Search is working fine, I am able to get search results from search page, here the problem is I cannot go to search results by directly clicking on a property.
In SP 2010, If I click on favourite sports team, (Chelsea football) it will open search results page with all users who have given this team name.
Where as in SP 2013, this data is appearing as plain text in mysites(Please note before UI upgrade, I am able to search as in SP 2010). You can notice the difference in my above screenshot.
Is this default behaviour in SP 2013? Has anything changed or am I missing something.

What system and iPhoto version are you running?
If your're using iPhoto 9 or later Command (right) - click on the photo in the search window and select Show Event in the Contextual menu.
That will take you to the event where the photo is.

Special characters (norwegian wovels) not showing correctly in Page Layouts

We have a publishing site which surfaces content from several catalogs in an authoring site in a cross site collection publishing environment.
We have a problem with labels for Catalog-Item Reuse Snippets containing norwegian vowels/special characters not showing properly. An example of a snippet is shown below. This contains the character ø (oslash).

The frontend messes the character up and displays this as strange A
We have tried several things in order to fix this but are running out of leads:
tried to change encoding in the page layout html file from utf-8 to iso-8859-1
tried to replace ø with the hex value (ø) and the old school & + oslash + ; way of encoding characters
Regional settings on the server is verified to be norwegian
The strange part is that actual content in the content type columns that we display around the page actually shows the norwegian characters correctly

However, our work around solution was to add the

Actually we tried to set the globalization settings in the web.config files of the different IIS sites running in the webapp yesterday like this:

As far as I can understand this should have the same effect as setting this in IIS.
It seems that the IIS setting actually overrides whatever you put in web.config for globalization options.
We have updated the IIS setting now to UTF-8 and done a IIS Reset. At the moment we get corrupted characters still, but now the existing aspx-files probably is corrupted and needs to be replaced with fresh ones. I will do a catalog dis-/reconnect.
I'll update with whatever we end up with as the final solution. Anyway, very grateful for the invaluable help from a fellow Scandinavian :-)

Crystal Reports For Eclipse - Multi-values not showing on page..

Tried two different ways to set params, but to no avail. Values seems to be set, but only one value appears on the report.The value is updated, so not an old value or anything.
Also if I look at the values I can see the values are set! The Field is set to multi=true and the height is big enough to display lots of date grow=true.

In our SharePoint 2013 Publishing page, managed metadata fields doesn't show in preview, they show up only in edit mode or after we publish page.
Is this bug?

According to your post, my understanding is that the managed metadata fields not display in preview.
I tried to reproduce the issue, the managed metadata fields worked well in my environment.
I create a publishing page, add a library web part which contained managed metadata columns.
Then click the preview option in the ribbon, the managed metadata columns worked well.
Did the issue occur in other publishing pages? You can create a new publishing page to check whether it works.
Did you use the compatibility mode or add the site into trusted sites?
You can use compatibility mode to check whether it works.
Open IE->Tools->Compatibility View Settings
You can also add the site into Trusted sites.
Open the IE->Internet Options->Security->Sites->add the site into the Websites, then check whether it works.
What's more, you can use other browsers to check whether it works, such as Firefox, Chrome.

Values not passing from program to Layout

My requirement is I need to set company logo in Invoice ( VF03 ) if a particualar condition satisifies, for this I have set a FLAG in my
driver program and called the FLAG in my Script Layout.
Here my issue is, for certain invoices the FLAG set in the program is being called in the Layout and Logo is displayed in invoice copy ( when excuted both in foreground and back ground).
But in certain invoices, if run in foreground none of the values ( means not only flag but also all the values to be passed to layout)
is displayed in invoice. It is only displaying the hard coded values in the layout ( showing blank page ).
and if I run in background all the values are passing to layout except all Global Variables (flags) in the program even though it
has value in the program.
Please advice what should be the problem, I have checked with my Functional and it seems to be fine in customization part.

I have tried it, but still not able to figure out the exact problem....since while running in background or foreground some of the all values including my logo are displayed in invoice but for some invoices none of the values from driver prgram is getting passed to layout while running in forground....but when run in background all values are passing except the FLAG set in the drvier program.
what should be the reason for this ? for some invoices all the values from driver is passing to layout but for some cases its not passing

Non-cumulative Values not showing in Inventory Management Queries

Has anyone had a problem with the new version and Non-cumulative key figures not showing up in Bex for Inventory Managemet reports? Specifically, they showed and validated back to ECC for our Development and QA boxes but now in our Regression box they are all showing zeros. Our Cumulative values are all showing correctly still within the Regression box. For example, Total Receipts and Total Issues are correctly poplating values but Total Stock is not.
I have checked and validate that the configuration in the Regression box matches or Dev and QA box.

Found the problem. It had to do with the compression variant in the delta process chain. The compression was set to 'no marker update'. Since we only started receiving measureable deltas in or regression box this is where the incorrect setting showed up. Reinitalized and the deltas are working correctly now.

Filter values not showing on iPad

I have a BW query based universe (UNV) that is published to iPad. The WebI report runs fine in BI Launchpad. However, when I open same report on iPad, the prompt values are not show (I see only blank Blank Blank) and report is not executed. BW server is BW 7.3 BO is BO 4, SP2.
How do I fix this issue?

please can you tell me, if the open document function with refresh parameter is working in BO mobile App V 4.0.3 (Build 1211)?
In the Release notes for this Version it is described how to do this:
Open Document
1. Apart from iDocID, sIDType and sDocName, other document identifier parameters are not supported
in the OpenDoc URL.
2. Apart from sReportName, sRefresh, IsM[name] and IsS[name], other input parameters are
not supported in the OpenDoc URL.
3. Session management parameter (token) is not supported.
4. Output parameters are not supported in the OpenDoc URL.
We tried to use the following link, but the report did't refresh with the correct parameters:

According to your description, you have set the default value for a parameter, but it's not displayed when initially running the report. Right?
In this scenario, since you have set the available values bind to query, so your default values should be within these available values. If these default values are not within the available values, the default values will be not displayed. So please check
the default values.

Discount value not showing in the P.O printout

I have created a Service p.o with 5 line items,i have entered the condition type RA01 = 10 % for all the items,
But in the P.O printout the discount value is showing only for the first 2 line items , the value is not showing for the balance 3 line items.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

if the same condition type is used for previous two line items, then this is ABAP issue. May be smartform coding is restricting to print the value for more than 2 line items. Can you seat with ABAP and check.
