MFBF GR reversal

Hi Gurus,
I am working REM.
I am using MFBF for backflushing.
When we do reversal of GR done by backflushing, system is carrying out Single Item-Single Level MRP which have adverse effect incase of ECM as it will create a New Planned with a BOM valid on the day of reversal & even it will reschedule all other planned orders also.
Planned orders are getting rescheduled and also taking the new BOM also.
Is it standard feature of SAP?
Business wants to retain old planned orders only. How to maintain this?
Any clues.
Srini

Hi,
Check in Rem profile 2nd tab page , remove tick mark from create planned order when reversing. Now system will not create planned order while reversing.

    Hi  Guru's,
    Please help.
    Problem:  In REM  while doing good issue  using MFBF transcation  for consignment  material system posting  correctly  with stock type K.  But  during reversal using MFBF Document neutral reversal tab system not put in back the consignment stock to the original  consigenment place instead   it is placing back to own stock.

    Document neutral reversal

    You can use this function to reverse already backflushed quantities and activities.
    Whereas document-specific reversal only allows you to reverse the complete quantity and activities contained in a backflush document, you can use the document-neutral reversal to partly reverse a backflush.
    Document-neutral reversal is particularly useful if you separate the backflushing processes. When the backflushing processes are separated, all references to the original document are lost. Therefore, you have to reverse without referencing the document.
    Since there's no connection with the original posting you cannot expect the system to find out (from nowhere) what to do. If ou want to post the goods back to their original stock segment you have to use "Document specific  cancellation" function.

  • MFBF-Reversal with movement type 102 issue

    Hello All,
    To wipe off my production which mistakenly done earlier ( MFBF, 101 Movement Type) I have done MFBF for component with the movement type 102. The quantity got reversed. When I done MFBF 101 Mov. Typ, the material document was generated and it supposed like to be.
    But to reverse that production quantity, when I done MFBF 101 mov typ, the material document has not been generated.
    When I see the MB51 for that code for the posting date, it shows me both the entries, i.e. goods receipt and goods reversal (101 and 102 movement type). For 101 I see the material document number but for the entry 102 under document number it shows "not actually produced" instead of number.
    Can anybody please let me know the reason why document number has not been generated during reversal and why MB51 behaving like this?
    Thanks

    Hi Anupam,
    I have tried that way also, MF12 doesnt have dacument.
    In MB51, for 102 movement type the value for Document field column is not actually produced, means the document has not been generated, and for 101 movemet type value for Document field column is 450328225.
    Please tell what will be the reason that material document is not generated. What step I missed during reversal.
    Thank you.

  • Material document reversal

    Hi,
    Is it possible to reverse/cancel the material document, that was created with automatic movement type 261 K through backflush transcation MFBF?
    Thanks & Regards

    Sure,Yu can reverse it thru MBST.

  • Exits in MFBF Screen

    Hi Experts
    I have used one BADI (RM_BFLUSH_GOODSMVT) in MFBF screen and created a new screen in MFBF in which I am capturing some additional data like "Shift", "Die No." etc. and storing it in a Z Table.
    When I reverse my Backflushing entry through MFBF (reversal Push Button) which calls MF41 transaction, my documents are reversing but my customized table entries are not reversing (fine enough because the BADI is not for that purpose).
    Now, I am looking for an exit which for transaction MFBF or MF41which I can use to reverse the data in my Z table.
    I have used "XMRM0001" but it is resetting my screen data and i am not able to go further.
    Can anybody suggest me some EXIT or BADI which I can use in MFBF or MF41 to reverse the entries in Z Table.
    Thanks in Advance.....
    Vineet

    Dear Vineet,
    Assume through the customized MFBF screen you are doing confirmation and you are using a BAPI for confirmation and
    populating the confirmation details in a Z table (including the Z fields like shift,mould No, etc and the confirmation no details).
    Now check using this BAPI  - BAPI_REPMANCONF1_CANCEL by passing the confirmation no in the input screen for this reversal
    (assuming you have developed a screen for reversal) and write the coding logic in such a
    way that if any confirmation number is called for this BAPI (taking from the already existing Z table) then after successful reversal
    this entry should get deleted from the existing Z table(by linking the confirmation no entry alone) and populate it in a newZ table for
    the reversed entries.
    Check and revert back.

  • Reversal Backflush

    Hi Everyone,
    I am trying to reverse backflush a document and I am getting an error message "No operations exists in order XXXXXXXX".
    Before getting this error message I got this informatory message "Reverse to repetitve manufacuturing as material document exists in document log"
    Any inputs to solve this issue.
    Thanks in advance.
    Kole

    Dear kole,
    Use T code MF41- For Document - Specific Backflush Reversal.
    In this case you have to reverse the entire document quantity.
    The same can done via T code MF12.
    IF you want to generate a document (For a certain quantity you
    want to carryout reversal,ie 132 & 262 Movements,then in
    MFBF input screen,first click on Document - Neutral
    Reversal,set the radio button for Assembly Backflush(If you
    want 262 & 132) and enter the quantity and post it.
    I hope this will solve your problem.

  • Ud Reversing

    Hi All,
    I am using repetitive manufacturing.After backflushing through MFBF inspection lot is generated.UD is given for inspection lot.Is is possible to reverse the UD?
    Regards
    Anand

    Hi Anand,
    Not possible at all with STD SAP, you will be in need of drastic development.
    The exit that is being discussed for it, is "QEVA0008"
    You use the user exit QEVA0008 to cancel the usage decision.  After you canceled the usage decision, the functions to cancel or block lots are still active.  If stock still exists for the lot when you cancel or block the lot, you can subsequently remove the stock from the system only using a material document cancellation because you cannot make a new usage decision for blocked or cancelled lots.
    For further details pls refer OSS Note 1108313.

  • REVERSING PLANNED ORDER - REM

    Hai all,
           In REM, I want to reverse the some backflushed components (ie., Reversing the GR) at that time system automatically create planned order based on the settings maintained in REM Profile. In case i didn't maintain anything in REM profile in that case what will happen?
    ganeshraja

    Dear Mr.Ganesh Raja,
    As explained by Mr.Ram,For the particular REM profile which is assigned to the
    material forwhich MFBF is carried out,while doing MF41,Reversing ,if u want the
    system to create a planned order automatically of the same quantity of reversed
    one,then in SPRO - Production - Repetetive Manufacturing-Control data - Define
    REM profile,In control data2 Creating planned orders When reversing - include a
    tick mark in the check box- create planned orderswhen reversing.
    The system automatically thorws  you a planned order with a new planned order
    number,of same quantity.
    If useful reward points.

  • MFBF Related

    I have 4 materials for which i am doing assembly backflush (131) but my stock is not getting updated i.e. on doing 131; qty of assembly is not getting increased but at the same time my components under it are getting consumed (261) and this is ultimately creating a variance????????
    Why is this so?? Please let me know the reason behind this...
    Also tell me the TCode which shows that whether we have done an assembly backflush or activity backflush or component backflush...If it exists; please tell...
    Moreover please tell me that when we do reversal for an assembly; does it reverses all activities and components or only the assembly???
    Answers shall be definitely rewarded
    Rgds

    Hi Vicky
      while carrying out MFBF have you ensured flagging "assembly Backflush"?
      check whether you are using reporting points ; if you do RP backflush then only GI and activity posting will take place and GR for assembly will not take place. only for final operation, GR will take place. so check while carrying out MFBF ensure "RP backflush is not flagged".
    check your control key assginment in Rate routing for Auto GR flagging.
    then check your REM profile assigned to the Assembly for MVT types and for GR at final reporting point flagging if you use RP.
    if all this are ok then GR should take place for sure.
    When you carry out the reversal, the full backflushing document (which acts as a bracket around all the individual documents) is flagged as reversed, along with the following data:
    The goods receipt is reversed and the accompanying material document and full backflushing document are indicated as cancelled.
    The goods issues for the components are reversed, that is, the component quantities are posted back.
    The activities are reversed.
    Depending on your settings in the repetitive manufacturing profile, the system proceeds as follows to cover the reversed quantities:
    The system either creates a planned order for the reversed quantity.
    Or, it activates a single-item planning run which creates a planned order that corresponds to the possibly changed planning situation.
    Or, the system does not create a planned order in which case the planner has to check the situation.
    The basic dates are determined for the newly created planned order.
    If you set the system to create an individual document for each backlog in the repetitive manufacturing profile, then the system deletes the corresponding individual documents and adjusts the quantity accordingly in the cumulative log document. Moreover, postprocessed backlog postings are reversed.
    The Logistics Information System is adjusted.
    In the separated backflush, the planned order is increased by the corresponding reversal quantity.
    In the separated backflush, the reversal of a goods receipt is no longer possible if the goods issue has already been carried out.
    Partial reversal with adjustment of individual components
    In some areas, for example, chemistry, it can make sense to backflush required quantities in advance, without naming specific quantities. The actual quantity used is only measured after production, using precise measuring equipment. The required quantity must be corrected afterwards.
    To do this, you can carry out a partial reversal with adjustment to individual components. In the initial screen for backflushing, choose Document-neutral reversal. The system automatically switches the movement type to the reversal movement type if you have made the corresponding settings in Customizing.
    hope this helps

  • Reversing Post Processed Docs

    Dear Colleagues,
    How can I reverse the material documents after it has been post processed (in MF47) ? Is a doc-neutral reversal the only way? Can't I reverse that specific document?
    Thanks,
    John

    I think no. as the material document and accouning document generated will be different during post processing and in MFBF. Some of the component are posted during MFBF some did not due to let us say less stock, then the generated documents will be seperate
    I hope it is not possible.

  • How do I use Sun Web Server 7.0u1 reverse proxy to change public URLs?

    Some of our installations use the Sun Web Server 7.0 (update 1, usually)
    for hosting some of the public resource and reverse-proxying other parts
    of the URI namespace from other backend servers (content, application
    and other types of servers).
    So far every type of backend server served a unique part of the namespace
    and there was no collision of names, and the backend resources were
    published in a one-to-one manner. That is, a backend resource like, say,
    http://appserver:8080/content/page.html would be published in the internet
    as http://www.publicsite.com/content/page.html
    I was recently asked to research whether we can rename some parts of
    the public URI namespace, to publish some or all resources as, say,
    http://www.publicsite.com/data/page.html while using the same backend
    resources.
    Another quest, possibly related in solution, was to make a tidy url for the
    first page the user opens of the site. That is, in the current solution when
    a visitor types the url "www.publicsite.com" in his or her browser, our web
    server returns an HTTP-302 redirect to the actual first page URL, so the
    browser sends a second request (and changes the URL in its location bar).
    One customer said that it is not "tidy". They don't want the URL to change
    right upon first rendering the page. They want the root page to be rendered
    instantly i the first HTTP request.
    So far I found that I can't solve these problems. I believe these problems
    share a solution because it relies on ability to control the actual URI strings
    requested by Sun Web Server from backend servers.
    Some details follow, now:
    It seems that the reverse proxy (Service fn="service-passthrough") takes
    only the $uri value which was originally requested by the browser. I didn't
    yet manage to override this value while processing a request, not even if
    I "restart" a request. Turning the error log up to "finest" I see that even
    when making the "service-passthrough" operation, the Sun Web Server
    still remembers that the request was for "/test" (in my test case below);
    it does indeed ask the backend server for an URI "/test" and that fails.
    [04/Mar/2009:21:45:34] finest (25095) www.publicsite.com: for host xx.xx.xx.83
    trying to GET /content/MainPage.html while trying to GET /test, func_exec reports:

    servers="http://10.16.2.127:8080" Directive="Service" DaemonPool="2b1348"
    returned 0 (REQ_PROCEED)My obj.conf file currently has simple clauses like this:
    # this causes /content/* to be taken from another (backend) server
    NameTrans fn="assign-name" from="/content" name="content-test" nostat="/content"
    # this causes requests to site root to be HTTP-redirected to a certain page URI
    <If $uri =~ '^/$'>
        NameTrans fn="redirect"
            url="http://www.publicsite.com/content/MainPage.html"
    </If>
    <Object name="content-test">
    ### This maps http://public/content/* to http://10.16.2.127:8080/content/*
    ### Somehow the desired solution should instead map http://public/data/* to http://10.16.2.127:8080/content/*
        Service fn="service-passthrough" rewrite-host="true" rewrite-location="true" servers="http://10.16.2.127:8080"
        Service fn="set-variable" set-srvhdrs="host=www.publicsite.com:80"
    </Object>
    I have also tried "restart"ing the request like this:
        NameTrans fn="restart" uri="/data"or desperately trying to set the new request uri like this:
        Service fn="set-variable"  uri="/magnoliaPublic/Main.html"Thanks for any ideas (including a statement whether this can be done at all
    in some version of Sun Web Server 7.0 or its opensourced siblings) ;)
    //Jim

    Some of our installations use the Sun Web Server 7.0 (update 1, usually)please plan on installing the latest service pack - 7.0 Update 4. these updates addresses potentially critical bug fixes.
    I was recently asked to research whether we can rename some parts of
    the public URI namespace, to publish some or all resources as, say,
    http://www.publicsite.com/data/page.html while using the same backend
    resources.> now, if all the resources are under say /data, then how will you know which pages need to be sent to which back end resources. i guess, you probably meant to check for /data/page.html should go to <back-end>/content/page.html
    yes, you could do something like
    - edit your corresponding obj.conf (<hostname>-obj.conf or obj.conf depending on your configuration)
    <Object name=¨default¨>
    <If $uri = ¨/page/¨>
    #move this nametrans SAF (for map directive - which is for reverse proxy within <if> clause)
    NameTrans.. fn=map
    </If
    </Object>
    and you could do https-<hostname>/bin/reconfig (dynamic reconfiguration) to check out if this is what you wanted. also, you might want to move config/server.xml <log-level> to finest and do your configuration . this way, you would get enough information on what is going on within your server logs.
    finally,when you are satisfied, you might have to run the following command to make your manual change into admin config repository.
    <install-root>/bin/wadm pull-config user=admin config=<hostname> <hostname>
    <install-root>/bin/wadm deploy-config --user=admin <hostname>
    you might want to check out this for more info on how you could use <if> else condition to handle your requirement.
    http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/820-6599/gdaer?a=view
    finally, you might want to refer to this doc - which explains on ws7 request processing overview. this should provide you with some pointers as to what these different directives mean
    http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/820-6599/gbysz?a=view
    >
    One customer said that it is not "tidy". They don't want the URL to change
    right upon first rendering the page. They want the root page to be rendered
    instantly i the first HTTP request.
    please check out the rewrite / restart SAF. this should help you.
    http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/820-6599/gdada?a=view
    pl. understand that - like with more web servers - ordering of directives is very important within obj.conf. so, you might want to make sure that you verify the obj.conf directive ordering is what you want it to do..
    It seems that the reverse proxy (Service fn="service-passthrough") takes
    only the $uri value which was originally requested by the browser. I didn't
    yet manage to override this value while processing a request, not even if

    still remembers that the request was for "/test" (in my test case below);
    it does indeed ask the backend server for an URI "/test" and that fails.
    now, you are in the totally wrong direction. web server 7 includes a highly integrated reverse proxy solution compared to 6.1. unlike 6.1, you don´t have to download a separate plugin . however, you will need to manually migrate your 6.1 based reverse proxy settings into 7.0. please check out this blog link on how to set up a reverse proxy
    http://blogs.sun.com/amit/entry/setting_up_a_reverse_proxy
    feel free to post to us if you need any futher help
    you are probably better off - starting fresh
    - install ws7u4
    - use gui or CLI to create a reverse proxy and map one on one - say content
    http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/820-6601/create-reverse-proxy-1?a=view
    if you don´t plan on using ws7 integrated web container (ability to process jsp/servlet), then you could disable java support as well. this should reduce your server memory footprint
    <install-root>/bin/wadm disable-java user=admin config=<hostname>
    <install-root>/bin/wadm create-reverse-proxy user=admin uri-prefix=/content server=<http://your back end server/ config=<hostname> --vs=<hostname>
    <install-root>/bin/wadm deploy-config --user=admin <hostname>
    now, you can check out the regular express processing and <if> syntax from our docs and try it out within <https-<hostname>/config/<hostname>-obj.conf> file and restart the server. pl. note that once you disable java, ws7 admin server creates <vs>-obj.conf and you need to edit this file and not default obj.conf for your changes to be read by server.
    >
    I have also tried "restart"ing the request like this:
    NameTrans fn="restart" uri="/data"
    ordering is very important here... you need to do this some thing like
    <Object name=default>
    <If not $restarted>
    NameTrans fn=restart uri from=/¨ uri=/foo.
    </If>

  • How to ensure that an accrual (FBS1) that was cleared and reversed/reset (FBRA) does not affect the books while being in open items (FAGLB03)?

    At first the user created an accrual using FBS1 for reversal on 5/1/2015.
    This created a clearing document.
    Then it was mistakenly reversed by the user for 5/1/2015 by using F.81
    This also created a clearing document.
    Based on advice in the following thread: Delete reverse accrual/defferal documents | SCN ,
    the user used FBRA to reset and reverse the document. We are unsure if the reset and reverse command was used or just the reset choice.
    Now the accrual value is in the respective accounts with an open status (i.e. red button). Does this mean that the entry has already been discarded and it won't affect the accounts? Or does one then use FB50 to reverse the effects of the accrual in the current and next month?

    Hi
    I guess that the user has not reverse the transaction as its still shows as open item in 30 /4 .. so I belive that you need to use fb50 or simply use FBR2 and enter the original entry no and the choose (generate reversal posting option )..

  • Miro Reversal and GR IR Clearing

    Dear Friends,
    Once Migo and Miro is done and subsequently the miro is reversed while doing auto clearing of GR IR Account, the system is knocking off the original migo and the original miro and leaving the reversed miro as open item instead of clearing the original miro against the reversal miro.
    Is this a standard functionality due to cenvat issues or is there some other problem.
    Please advice how to take care of the same.
    Regards
    Mukesh

    This is standard only.
    When cenvat is there it should be very carefull at the time of MIRO and reversal of same in the same month.

  • DNS: reverse zone comes back after remove and some follow up issues

    hello community,
    after installation of OSL i had setup dns with a primary zone.
    the automatically created reverse zone for my internal network is fine.
    whenever i enter a new system the default for the ip address is 10.0.0.1 and the reverse zone is automatically setup for this ip address.
    whenever i remove this reverse zone it come back automatically after saving the dns configuration.
    with this come some follow up error.
    server admin claim that there is no name server configured for this reverse zone.
    when i configure it the configured name server entry vanished after clicking the save button.
    when i try to configure settings i can not. i get the error message that the configuration can not be saved cause of the missing name server for the reverse zone i am not using ....
    in the log file i can see that the file for reverse zone can not be found.
    when i check the dns configuration in the shell i can see that the reverse zone file is not there.
    someone has an idea
    - whats the best way to fix this?
    - why is the gui still showing the reverse zone i am not using?
    - is the dns configuration also in the ldap db with wrong entries?
    regards
    christian

    Clean out your zone definitions, and start over. Server Admin is unfortunately seemingly fussy around the authoritative server stuff and the order stuff gets entered, and it seems you can get into a sequence where it doesn't have what it needs. I had encountered couple of cases when I was in a similar state as you're in now, and I ended up clearing and deleting the primary zone and re-adding the zone and the hosts, being careful to add the authoritative server as the first step of adding a zone.

  • View iCal's day and week view in reverse chronological order

    Greetings iCalers,
    When I think about day/week calendars, with the Y-axis being times of the day as in iCal's day/week views (e.g. "3:00 AM", and "5:00 PM" are in the leftmost column), I think about times building up to midnight from the bottom—i.e. the day starts at 12:00 AM on the bottom, with 1:00 AM above that, and the day ends with 11:59 PM on the top. I've learned that this intuition is atypical, and all calendaring systems I've come across work in the reverse direction, in line with the majority of people's intuitions.
    I'm wondering if there's a way to get iCal to display in the reverse-chronological order. I suspect there isn't, and I've never seen a terminal command or apple script for it, but I'm hoping there is. If anyone know and could post it here, that would be great!
    Thanks!

    It's cool, I figured out a solution: get over it and stop worrying about trivial issues to the point of excessive fussiness.
