Microsoft SQL Drive and Weblogic 10 error

Hi
I am getting following setting up JDBC connection between Weblogic 10.3 and Microsoft SQL 2005. I have always worked with Oracle, first time with Microsoft SQL. From what I read only SQL 2005 drive comes with weblogic 10.3. Can you please tell me what are the correct step to get it working? Thank you.

  • Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Setup error: Wait on the Database Engine recovery handle failed

    Hi,
Having this annoying error trying to install SQL Server 2014 (RTM). I saw it's been asked several times... But each post seems a different cause and no definitive answer...
I'm not doing an upgrade, so no "sa account" issue.
Tried different media. Even three different distributions: trial, Standard and Enterprise.
    Tried disabling Microsoft antivirus/firewall.
Of course tried restarting, updating, installing, uninstalling, repairing, etc., etc.
I noticed the users folders under C:\Users weren't created. (Maybe something related to permissions?) After playing around, I managed for the users to be created and the service started. Though I couldn't log in.

    Thank You.

Yes, Katy. Be sure to back up all your important files. The machine you get back will most likely have all of your pictures, Xmas cards, favorites, contacts and so forth missing.

Not sure if you got the plug-in working. If not, read on...
The error is due to failure in internal computation of the SQL Server Host related information.
    Ensure that
    1. All pre-requisites (specified in SQL Server plug-in Installation Guide) are satisfied
    2. Provided property values for discovery of the SQL Server target are correct
    - JDBC URL has correct port number
    - If you are using older version of SQL Server plug-in, the name of SQL Server
instance that you provided is correct

  • Installation of Golf Program requires uninstalling Microsoft SQL 2005 and installing SQL 2000

I am running Win 7 and about to purchased a new computer with Win 8.1.
The USGA wrote a Tournament Program which is used nationwide called TPP (Tournament Pairing Program).  It was developed prior to XP but it is updated every time you run the update.  It runs on XP without any adjustments.  To load the program
on Win 7 or Win 8 you are instructed to remove Microsoft SQL Server 2005, which I did.  The program loads SQL 2000 when it is installed.  I am concerned when I uninstall the TPP program that it will also uninstall SQL 2000 (which it installed) and
then there will be no SQL server on my Win 7.
I was going to make sure that I could install the TPP program on Win 8 (before buying another computer) by installing it on a friends new Win 8.1 computer.  But I am concerned about removing the preinstalled SQL Server program.
    1) How does one get the original Microsoft SQL Server back once it has been removed and the recycle bin has been emptied?  Does the SQL program even get sent to the recycle bin when it is removed?
    2)  Is there any harm done by removing the original SQL program be it 2005 or a new one?

SQL 2000 is not supported on Windows 7.
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2028963/en-us
whenever you uninstall SQL Server, databases files are not deleted. So you can move them to safe location. if they are delete by you then you have very less chances to recover the data.

Contact the vendor of the new hard drive and request an RMA. Sometimes hard disks are received and the fail right out of the box. The manufacturers and vendors are aware of that. That is always a great reason to keep a receipt.

In old release, you should update CLASSPATH variable in setWLSEnv.sh or setWLSEnv.cmd.
In 9.x or 10.x, you should update setDomainEnv.sh or setDomainEnv.cmd.

    Oct 24, 2011 12:03:11 PM com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.internals.SQLServerConnection
SEVERE: Java Runtime Environment (JRE) version 1.6 is not supported by this driver. Use the sqljdbc4.jar class library, which provides support for JDBC 4.0.
I have put sqljdbc4.jar in the following directory:
    C:\oracle\product\11.1.1\Oracle_ODI_1\oracledi\agent\drivers
I am executing against the local agent.
    What am I doing wrong?
    Cheers

    Hi
We don't have an agent set up at the moment, which I think is why that directory does not exist. (I have been testing using the Local Agent). Nevertheless, I created the folder and moved my sqljdbc4.jar file to that location. ie. E:\Oracle\product\11.1.1\Oracle_ODI_1\oracledi\Agent\Drivers
Closed the Studio and then reconnected. Tested the connection, but still no good. Same error.
    Cheers

  • WCF-SQL Debatch and Map: Error

I am using WCF-SQL to poll and fetch a bunch of records. I then debatch them. (Tested the output and it's ok). As a next step, I applied a map between the debatched schema and my canonical schema. Testing the map worked well. On deploying and running, I
    get an error
"The adapter "WCF-SQL" raised an error message. Details "System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0xC0C01627): Exception from HRESULT: 0xC0C01627"."
    Please advise

    Hi,
Have you checked the Body xpath property of repeating record and checked Envelope property to true.
I would recommend to test the Envelope Schema and document schema  through xmldasm.exe .
Go to C:\Program Files(*)\Microsoft BizTalk server 2013\SDK\Utilities\PipelineTools copy both
xmldasm.exe and PipelineObjects.dll to the folder where you have your schema files.
    or
If you don't want to copy the files the alternative way is goto command prompt just type
    path = %path%;”C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft BizTalk Server 2010\SDK\Utilities\PipelineTools”
    hit enter.
Open command prompt and execute the following command : xmldasm Documentxml.xml -ds
    Document.xsd -es EnvelopeSchema.xsd -c hit enter.
    Thanks
    Abhishek

  • SQL Agent and Oracle Error

    Hello,
This is the error I'm getting:
Oracle client and networking components were not found. These components are supplied by Oracle Corporation and are part of the Oracle Version 7.3.3 or later client software installation. Provider is unable to function until these components are installed.
I only have ODAC installed and that's all, not the full-blown Oracle database. This is on a Windows Server 2003 (32-bit) Developing on this server was fine, I could run packages within BIDS, create a deployment utility and actually run the package from Integration Services, it's when creating a SQL Agent Job and trying to execute the steps where I get the above error.
    Any advice would be appreciated.
    Thanks.

SQL Agent is a SQL Server tool... it is looking for an extremely old version of the Oracle client, one that is no longer supported. Since this is the support forum for the Visual Studio tools, I don't know anything about that.
Based on the fact that SQL Agent is looking for such old software, I would naively suggest:
    1) Upgrade SQL Agent to a new version
    2) If you do not intend it to connect to Oracle anyway, try to find out where in the configuration it is attempting to do so.

  • IPhoto '08, Microsoft Word 2004 and an error: QuickTime and TIFF

    Hi,
When I drag and drop photos from iPhoto into Word, I get the following error:
QuickTime and a TIFF (decompressor) are required to see the picture.
The image is placemarked with a black border with the error message in the center. iPhoto indicates that the picture is JPEG. I have also discovered that dragging the picture to the desktop and then into Word works fine.
I checked the console log and found the following:

The system is an iMac7,1 (20" alu)
Any help would be appreciated. This seems to be a new problem, as I was able to drag+drop from iPhoto '08 into Word after upgrading to '08. I do not recall when the problem began.
    Thanks!

    Hi
This sounds like a problem that's been discussed many times. If you use the Search button (select more options) and change the 'Restrict by Date Range' to something like 'Last Year' you should find something? You might want to read these:

I think Office 2008 is supposed to have made things better?

  • Hard Drive and RAM errors

I have a 2010 macbook pro (unibody design). I bought it on craigslist to fix and it needed a HDD and RAM. I purchased DDR3 RAM for it and sometimes it beeps 3 times during POST and sometimes it boots up fine. I m running Snow Leopard (10.6.8) so I downloaded the mountain lion installer from the app store. When I click on the disk "Macintosh HD" to install it, i says the disk has "S.M.A.R.T. errors-the disk has a hardware problem that can't be repaired". The disk installed snow leopard off my CD and it worked fine in the PC that I took it from before I formatted it. Also sometimes when I pick up the laptop, It will shut down and not turn back on! Does anybody have any idea what is wrong with my computer? I am trying to fix it up to sell it but it is not letting me install mountain lion. Thank you!

It Shows A Tonne Of "SAM Multimedia" Errors
Do you have Symantec Antivirus for Macintosh (SAM) installed? If so, it's likely your troublemaker if, as the others have pointed out, you really have the proper install disks. Get rid of SAM--it does more harm than good.
You'll probably have to boot from a system fisk to get access to SAM and neuter it enough for removal. Google this:
    symantec antivirus removal tool mac
You'll find a tonne of sites that have removal instructions.
