Microsoft-Windows-WER-SystemErrorReporting

Hi, I recently installed Windows server 2012 R2 in  a Server HP Proliant DL320E G8 with a Intelligent Provisioning Tool, it was successful. But I detected a problem, when the system inicialize, after the drivers installed, it restart.
I checked the event viewer and I saw the next problem.
Note: The operating system is in spanish.

    Hi,
    It seems like a Windows Server problem, not an Exchange Server problem.
    What’s the version of your Windows Server and Exchange Server?

  • Phone call saying they were from Microsoft Windows

    I received a phone call today from a man that said he was from Microsoft Windows, & that Microsoft had been receiving notices for several weeks that " something" was wrong with my computer.  Offline he had me do a system check, then said my computer
    was corrupted, then put on his floor supervisor who had me get online and do some more system checks and told me that I was corrupted and it would cost $150-$350 to fix. I hung up thinking this might be a scam.  My question is do you have someone who
    makes these type phone calls, or was it a scam? If it is corrupted how do I fix it.
    Thanks for your help
    [email protected]

    Hi, I also had a phone call from someone who claimed they were from the microsoft team and were having warnings suggesting that my computer had serious issues.  When I asked which computer they said the one with windows 7.  After a long phone call
    and they even went onto my computer remotely without asking for my permission showed me severial files which they classed as hackers trying to get into my information which can be corrected at a cost of £89.  When I told them I was not interested as the
    computer was only a cheap note book for the kids to use, I was put onto someone else for them to convince me that now all computers used in the home are now effected.   It came to an end with me hanging up on them.  If anybody out there is interested
    into investigating this, the company who is doing this is: BC Repair and Services, and claim to be microsoft authorised services.  Tel number:020390105670.
    Hope this can help,

  • If I were to buy the 7 Home Premium SP1 64bit, System Builder OEM DVD 1 Pack from Amazon to install Microsoft Windows 7 on my Mac, would it be compatible with my computer when I put it in bootcamp? (I have all of the current software updates)

    If I were to buy the 7 Home Premium SP1 64bit, System Builder OEM DVD 1 Pack from Amazon to install Microsoft Windows 7 on my Macbook Pro, would it be compatible with my computer if I put it in bootcamp? (I have all of the current software updates)

    In order to run Windows Applications, you must own the applications and, since they require Windows, you must own Windows. There are technologies like wine that will allow Windows applications to run without Windows, but they tend to be flakey at best.

  • For unknown reason, why would I be getting many new re-directs to Ads via FiuneDeaalSuoft which seem to come through Microsoft Windows webpages?

    A program from FiuneDeaalSuoft somehow appeared in my Firefox Add-0ns as of 2 days ago (08212014) according to Control Panel-Programs. I don't recognize it, but possibly I mistakenly clicked on an acceptance interface without realizing it. The ad re-directs which it caused were onerous and invasive. The re-directs first started appearing when I received a message advising me to update some other programs. I have a list of most of them. It seemed to start I went onto a Windows web page, for Windows Live Movie Maker,
    < http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-live/movie-maker-file-types-faq?wlexpid=FC1B09C67C184525852C59C15A0F465E >
    which had 3 block ads at the top from FiuneDeaalSuoft. The links for those three ads were:
    < Microsoft.iYogi.com > phone 855-558-2498,
    < Microsoft-Windows.iYogi.com > phone 855-558-2498, and
    < Microsoft-Support.pchelpdesk.co > with no phone showing in my screenshot of the ad but it is probably the same as given later herein, 855-677-5531.
    I removed the FiuneDeaalSuoft program from Add-ons, but I still seem to be getting some pop-ups and re-directs. Looking in Control Panel, I see that the program name is slightly different: FuineDealSOfti from FineDealSofT. This program was extremely aggressive and persistent. In Control Panel, I see other programs which I am also concerned about. IDT Audio from IDT has been on my computer a while, but I can't remember much about it. Pinger from Pinger, Inc. shows that it was installed in Dec. 2013 before I bought the computer. WidgetServ 1.0 from Softomate, LLC. is through Firefox. WinSpeed from 24soft installed in April 2014 is another program which I don't know much about. Can anyone offer further analysis and review or comment of any of these programs, please, with advice as to whether you have found them useful or problematic?
    The software from FiuneDeaalSuoft will be uninstalled from Control Panel since I am convinced that it is very invasive and a lot of trouble. An Install Manager from dwnllistsoft.com was part of the pathway. It wanted to re-direct to < http://uhi.inureknittingrectrix.com >, which had code sections referring to < plh.tractionize.com >; < WhiteLabelBidRequestHandlerServlet >; < www.srv2trking.com >; < LTSanitizer.aspx >; and < www.ascentive.com >.
    The original message seemed to be one which advised that "Video Update Recommended".
    Another had the Firefox logo and advised that "You are currently browsing the web with Firefox and your Video Player might be outdated". The webpage address was:
    < http://www.lpmxp2129.com /7655407A3F26415F243E342D4D472B54AE35515F1068A175E1CFD6181CD0B859E09383E5EAA7EDFE90932B3B86A7E9D8?tgu_src_lp_domain=
    www.dnwyoursoft.com&ClickID=426139843&PubID=1258 > (which could have a small editing error).
    A smaller front screen appeared as an overlay which said "Recommended" and then " You are currently browsing the web with Firefox and it is recommended that you update your video player to the fastest version available. Please update to continue."
    Some other urls which appeared were:
    < http://www.srv2trking.com/LTSanitizer.aspx?u=http%3a%2f%2fwww.ascentive.com%2frun%2fclick%2fSEC_CPA%2fgo%2fFFTV%3fc1%3d08_107761803_ed31ad73-fc16-40f5-9cad-cccc044ea1f4

Please Install Update To Continue." while the main screen had a message that it was a "Windows 8 Update" with the admonition that "You are currently using - Windows 8 - which is now outdated... Please install the latest update to enhance your computer's security and performance." (part of the window screen capture was missing the full text, so I had to guess part of the message);
    (NOTE that the previous entry may have a disconnect between the url and actual screen, since i could not reproduce the result);
    < http://pmptrk.com/t/o/12/ > was another redirect;
    < http://updatingdriversnow.com/ujp1/?source=MG_EBT-RED&kw=ubid >
    another which offered a Java Update (13?) which had a front screen "Java Recommended" and "It is recommended to have Java in order to proceed.";
    checking on a contact link for the Video Update,
    < http://www.lpmxp2129.com/eQBQL8o9/videoupdater/contact.html >
    was the url;

    was very realistic (and for all I know is legitimate), showing a logo for PCKeeper, a front screen block titled "Important Message" with "Your PC Performance is Poor." and a "Fix Now" selector button;
    the main screen of the previous url had the overhead title of "How to Fix The Windows 8.1 error" which is somewhat peculiar since "The" is capitalized while "error" is not;
    also the previous screen had 1. a picture of an attractive smiling young man with a reference book titled "Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist", 2. several links for various PCKeeper options, and 3. at the bottom, block ads for AAA and alleged referrals from "The Wall Street Journal", "MAXIMUMPC", and "Business Wire" and 4. a warning that "You may be presented with an optional offer(s) during INSTALLATION" which was the link followed another link for "learn more";
    < http://pchelpdesk.co/cp/support-for-microsoft.php?affiliate=63783-86_777 >
    was a web page for pchelpdesk.co which gave a phone number of 855-677-5531 for "Instant Tech Support for Microsoft r-copyright Products by Expert Technician";
    < http://techieschoice.com/l2/support-for-microsoft.php >
    gave a phone number 855-677-9945 with another convincing webpage which even had several testimonials;
    < http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-live/movie-maker-file-types-faq?wlexpid=FC1B09C67C184525852C59C15A0F465E >

    IiwiZSI6MC4wMjEsIjEiOiJ2MTQtQ29udHJvbCJ9&url=gt.penga.info >
    had the header "Recommended Download!" followed by "You are currently browsing on Chrome 35" and "Please Install the RECOMMENDED SOFTWARE -< which was the link > to Confirm You are Using the Recommended Version." along with other embedded links, options and disclaimers;
    < http://landing.driverrestore.com/ldimp/02/en/?brand=Windows&subid=US|EN|windows*download >
    for which I have no screenshot;
    < http://lp.get-soft.com/mpc____________/?o=42&campid=14403&creaid=6104&reqid=571734621 >

    < http://downloadjust4u.com/download/firefox3/ > with no screenshot.
    I may have missed a couple or so urls, especially the intermediate transition urls, since they tended to change very quickly. Any of my screenshots are freely available if they can offer any further value.
    Since you probably have too many emails and too few volunteers, I don't expect that anyone has time to send me a personal individual response, but a universal message or warning (if appropriate) to all users would be great. I am still uncertain if I am making this a bigger deal than it actually is.
    Thanks to everyone at Firefox. It has been my favorite browser for a few years now.

  • Microsoft Windows Server DNS Monitoring v7.1.10100.0 High CPU Usage on Windows Server 2012 R2

    Hello!
    I've a big problem with this MP. When the zone monitoring is enabled (by default) the MonitoringHost.exe takes up all the CPU. I've put the zones in Maintenance mode.
    I've got this problem only with a new Windows 2012 R2 server. Other Windows Servers (2003 R2, 2008 & 2008 R2) with DNS Server Role they don't have this problem.

  • Microsoft Windows Network: The local device name is already in use.

    I posted in : http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-networking/disconnected-network-drive-error-as-follows-an/9a877c38-5e86-4c34-84c2-427a965577c6?page=2
    Error:
    "An error occurred while reconnecting drive letter to \\network server\share folder.
    Microsoft Windows Network: The local device name is already in use.
    This connection has not been restored."
    1) A workstation is running Windows 7
    2) The user has a drive letter mapped to a UNC
    3) The connection is interrupted at some point and then restored
    4) Upon attempting to access the mapped network drive, the user gets the error about the letter being
    already in use.
    Extremely disappointed that some of the posts marked as answers were obviously not, shows how poor the moderators here are.
    My latest results clearly point to a Windows 7 client problem:
    I received the error.
    Had run nslookup so had a prompt open.
    ran dir z:    worked. went to Windows Explorer, same error.
    ran dir z:\sharename    worked. went to Windows Explorer, same error.
    copy con z: test.txt then type test.txt; could create and retrieve file. Went and clicked on mapped drive in Windows explorer and received same error.
    Obviously(?) not a Server or Networking problem. Ran Malwarebytes from bootable CD (client doesn't believe in AV). Didn't happen with USB flash drive.
    Any other ideas?

    This is usually because the drive letter assigned to the network share is taken by something else. Maybe, by a removable drive.
    Moderators and other answerers do their best to help specific cases, but everyone has their own situation.  Apply common sense to the replies you find in the forums.
    When you typed dir z:  - is Z: the drive letter you wanted for this share, or it was automatically assigned?

    Alternatively you could try using common sense when you post, as well as taking the time to read the entire issue post so that you can avoid showing both your ignorance and arrogance (arrogance without any competency to back it I might add).
    Suggesting that it might be "another drive" that took over the mapping shows your lack of reading comprehension and is unhelpful.   Please take the time to, once again, read first.
    Lastly moderators here generally show little technical skill beyond entering search words into a knowledge-base of articles and then applying the results incorrectly further exacerbating the situation for the customer.

  • Event ID: 4, Source: Microsoft-Windows-Kernel-EventTracing, maximum file size for session "ReadyBoot" has been reached.

    Hello,
    I upgraded my machine to Win7 x64 Pro about 3 weeks ago. My HW is an Asus mobo, Intel Q9450 w/8GB RAM. The boot drives are two Raptors configured as RAID01. All the drivers are the latest available from Intel, Asus and 3rd party vendors. My WEI is 5.9, limited by the disk transfer rates, otherwise 7.1 and 7.2 on the other indexes.
    I've been receiving these errors at boot;

    Session "Circular Kernel Context Logger" failed to start with the following error: 0xC0000035
    As suggested above I assume this is a microsoft issue?  It has been discussed here and other forums for quite some time.  I never have seen a fix?  I wish when we received errors of this nature microsoft would tell us what they were.  How is this related to superfetch?  What is superfetch?  Why would superfetch have changed?
    BY THE WAY....  Superfetch is on(started) is on automatic and logs on as local system.  So this is not the cause of my issue.  Also what is readyboot?  Does the average computer really know what these programs/services or unique microsoft words/terms are?

    I'm trying to assess why these blue screens are occurring so I can do some preventative work on it. Be it replacing the computer or the RAM, this issue is slowing productivity and I need to rectify it before it halts productivity.

    We do need the actual log files (called a DMP files) as they contain the only record
    of the sequence of events leading up to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.
    Please follow our instructions for finding and uploading the files we need to help you fix your computer. They can be found here

    I'm trying to download internet security and an error of microsoft windows applications are not supported on OS x keeps coming up

    That's because you must be trying to download a Windows application, and they do not run on a Mac unless you are running Windows on the Mac.
    Helpful Links Regarding Malware Protection
    An excellent link to read is Tom Reed's Mac Malware Guide.
    For adware removal see The Safe Mac » Adware Removal Guide and The Safe Mac » Adware Removal Tool.
    Also, visit The XLab FAQs and read Detecting and avoiding malware and spyware.
    See these Apple articles:
      Mac OS X Snow Leopard and malware detection
      OS X Lion- Protect your Mac from malware
      OS X Mountain Lion- Protect your Mac from malware
      OS X Mavericks- Protect your Mac from malware
      About file quarantine in OS X
    If you require anti-virus protection Thomas Reed recommends using ClamXAV. (Thank you to Thomas Reed for this recommendation.)
    From user Joe Bailey comes this equally useful advice:
    The facts are:
    1. There is no anti-malware software that can detect 100% of the malware out there.
    2. There is no anti-malware that can detect anything targeting the Mac because there
         is no Mac malware in the wild, and therefore, no "signatures" to detect.
    3. The very best way to prevent the most attacks is for you as the user to be aware that
         the most successful malware attacks rely on very sophisticated social engineering
         techniques preying on human avarice, ****, and fear.
    4. Internet popups saying the FBI, NSA, Microsoft, your ISP has detected malware on
        your computer is intended to entice you to install their malware thinking it is a
        protection against malware.
    5. Some of the anti-malware products on the market are worse than the malware
        from which they purport to protect you.
    6. Be cautious where you go on the internet.
    7. Only download anything from sites you know are safe.
    8. Avoid links you receive in email, always be suspicious even if you get something
        you think is from a friend, but you were not expecting.
    9. If there is any question in your mind, then assume it is malware.

  • Microsoft Window Popped Up as I was browsing in Safari

    I was on facebook browsing in Safari and all of a sudden the website closed and an apple task box appeared and said your computer has been infected with a virus, we will now perform a scan then there was an "OK" box to click. So being a new Mac user I did and an actual Microsoft Window popped up like it was in PC Doctor for Windows XP (Windows Shield) I then clicked stop and a setup.exe file was downloaded into my stacks another Apple task box came up and said this is a windows based file from "www.shotbox.com" are you sure you would like to open the file of course I clicked cancel but what the heck did this do or mean? I thought Macs were not susceptible to this kind of jargon and situations?

    To post a new question, you need to go down to the lowest (most specific) level of the forum. You will see a link that says +Post New Topic+ toward the upper left corner. For example
    http://discussions.apple.com/forum.jspa?forumID=1110
    No, you should not need to install anti-virus software. There are no known Mac OS X viruses. There are other types of malware, such as trojans, but those will require that you intentionally install something, and then ignoring the Mac OS X warning that something new that was downloaded from the Internet is being run for the first time. And then giving your user name and password to authenticate. There is no anti-virus software that will prevent you from intentionally installing something on your Mac.
    If you want to periodically scan your Mac for known malware, you can use this free utility
    http://www.clamxav.com/
    For Snow Leopard, use the 2.0 beta version.

  • HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion

    1402
    HKEYLOCALMACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Unistall\Quicktime keeps coming up as an error message and then 1603.
    I have regedit to the 1402 error and when clicking on Quicktime I get this message "Cannot open Quictime, error while opening key", and I get this message by just clickinking on the folder!!! i have given permissions to the cdda folder as suggested on other links and cleared my temp folder and also used windows cleaner in which no Quicktime appears, PLEASE HELP ME!!
    Now all I get is this ERROR 3 Message that everyone else is experiencing

    Hi Umesh
    Going into the Registry and opening up HKEYLOCALMACHINE > SOFTWARE, I can go to the folder for my Local History program, and I can right click on it to look at “Permissions”. This opens a Permissions for Family History window, and if I click on the Advanced button in that window, I go into Advanced Settings for Family History. If I now click on the “Owner” Tab, I can see that the “Current Owner of this item” is Paul(MYCOMPTER\Paul Baines), and this gives me power to grant Full Control to other users of the computer as I see fit. I only looked in this folder for the first time 2 days ago, so the settings are exactly as they were when created by the original program setup.
    Checking on a large and representative number of other program files in the registry, I find that the owner is set to either Paul (MYCOMPUTER\Paul Baines) or Administrators (MYCOMPUTER\Administrators), but when I first attempted to check permissions in QuickTime and iTunes program folders, I had to break the door down to get in. Unfortunately, I am unable to recite the precise sequence, but it went something like this:
    Right click on the file to be greeted with something like “You can’t meddle with settings in here”, Then on a second right click, “Well you can look at Permissions, but you can’t change them”. Then, once I could get to the Advanced tab in Permissions, I could see that the “Current Owner of this item” is “CREATOR” or something like that. I clicked on OK to get back to the Settings window, and then clicked on ADD, and put in “Paul Baines”. I then did another ADD for “Administrators”, just to give me options. I then went back to the “Advanced” and “Owner” windows, clicked on my name in the “Change owner to” part of the window, and clicked on “Apply”. Job done, but is it any wonder that I had such a struggle?
    To sum up: the evidence is that other programs set the registry to acknowledge my existence as Administrator, so why don’t Apple programs. I'm convinced that there must be an issue here.
    Keep trying to get in, and I hope this helps.

  • How do we get mac to catch up to microsoft windows "window resizing"

    This mac windows resizing stinks, you have to find the bottom right corner?!! what a joke!
    I have had my g5 for 9 months and still can't get past this major flaw!
    Microsoft windows is so far ahead!!
    if you don't know what I mean (i.e. how easy microsoft has always allowed you to resize windows) you are really in the dark. any corner or window wall is "alive" for you to grab and resize
    However, since I am new, perhaps I'm just missing something.
    so here's my 2 part question
    (1) Am i missing something basic?
    (2) If the mac really stinks like I think it does (with window resizing), then how do we get them to change it?

    Actually, Sam. I agree on the window sizing thing. In OS 9 you could grab the edges to resize a window, not just the lower corner. While it's not that big a deal to be limited to using the lower right corner, it's just not as convenient as being able to grab most anywhere.
    While OS X has been around for a few years now, each major release adds things that were in OS 9 (and earlier) that weren't in the initial release. It has to be a heck of a job taking what at the start was the generic BSD distribution of Unix and try to make the well know Apple GUI of before work on top of it seamlessly.
    So far, I think they're doing a great job. But there are still some things that haven't made it back into the new OS. Window resizing is one of 'em.

  • I recieved a zip file, when downloaded no option to unzip appeared. but clicking on one of the items in the folder i received a message saying microsoft windows apps. do no supported on OsX

    I received an email from my server trying to help me upgrade my thomson router, they sent me a file and said unzip it and open the "setup.exe" but when I clicked on the said folder i received a pop up saying :   I cant open the app. because Microsoft Windows applications are not supported on OS.X
    Any help out there?    Incidentally until I can open this file, I cannot follow the upgrade nstructions received on another download.

    I do not believe you can open and run .exe files in Parallels.  Parallels is simply a vehicle for running Windows on a Mac.
    To open and run an .exe file, you need to have a valid copy of Windows, which you can install on your Mac in Parallels or BootCamp. Only when running Windows will you be able to open the .exe file and update your router.
    I wouldn't worry about Microsoft Office, I think an earlier poster got the impression that you were trying to run Microsoft office, but I don't think you ever mentioned such a thing.
