Middleware filter settings to block transactions from flowing into CRM

Hi Experts,
We have a requirement where in we need to stop the transactions from flowing to CRM from ECC based on the combination of transaction type and number range.
Here is the detailed scenario:
We have transaction types T1,T2 and T3.
Number range of T1 is 1000 to 2000
Number range of T2 is 10000 to 20000.
Number range of T2 is 1000 to 2000
Number range of T3 is 1000 to 2000
Transactions T2 (With number range 10000 to 20000) and T3 are originating in ECC.
Transactions T2 (With number range 1000 to 2000) and T1 are originating in CRM.
We need transactions T1, T2 (With number range 10000 to 20000) and T3 to flow back to CRM from ECC, but not T2 (With number range 1000 to 2000).
I tried to figure out a combination that I can enter in the middleware filter settings but couldn't get one.
Any help in this regard would be highly appreciated.

Hi Kris,
Can you check if you can add the Number range filter value in Table SMOFFILFLD and then maintain the number range filter to restrict the T2 transaction type as per your scenario.

Hello,
If middleware setup is done for the data exchange between ECC and CRM, then you can use customizing objects
(available in txn R3AC3) and business objects (available in txn R3AC1) , and condition/pricing related objects in available in txn R3AC5, which can be used for extracting data from R/3 to CRM. You can also find some upload objects for uploading the data
from CRM to R/3.
You can use transaction R3AS, to perform the initial load of customizing/Biz objects.
Once initial load is done, any delta changes would come automatically to CRM by means of delta load.
You also have request load, using which you can download range of materials/BPs which are missing or needs to be updated in CRM.

to i'm looking for a way to block people from loging into certain udomain user names
for example:
computer A can only login to the users PC1, PC2, PC3,
but not benevol
meen while computer B can only login to benevol
and not pc1, pc2, pc3
i'm curently runnig win7 pro and win server2008 R2
is there a way to do this ?
any help would be welcomed

By default, every user in AD automatically gets added to Domain Users.
To control who is allowed to log into workstations, If you’re in a smaller AD environment, you can go to the
Account tab in Active Directory Users and
Computers, click the “Log On To…” button and specify the computers the user is allowed to use.
However, in a larger environment, you could use Group policy object for that purpose, these settings can be found in
group policy management editor-> Computer Configuration > Policies > Security Settings > Local Policies > User Rights Assignment.

Material delta changes are not flowing into CRM

Dear All,
material delta changes are not flowing into CRM, because the product hierarchy on material has been changed to a new product hierarchy. I do not want to download again the object DNL_CUST_PROD1 because it maight cause inconstancies in CRM. (I have already defined some z product hierarchies in CRM)
Do I need to create the new product hierarchy also in CRM manually?

Hi Raj,
Use the transacrion R3AR2 to create a z object for DNL_CUST_PROD1 and assign DNL_CUST_PROD1 as the object name
Then in request detail screen for new z object enter the details like table name (T179 in your case) and the name of the product hierarchy that you want to bring in. Save the transaction
Then use the transaction R3AR4 to initiate the download for your new z object as you normally do in R3AS.
Then go to SMW01 and reprosess the struck Bdoc.

Need to know how to check the outbound queue in SAP for data flow into CRM

Hi Specialist's,
I have changed an entry in Customer Master Data in Sap r/3 and this change has come fine to CRM system.I checked the inbound BDOC in CRM ( Trn:SMW01) and it has come fine into CRM system.I am also able to see the affected field in CRM with new value.
I need to know how to check this from SAP side i.e. I have checked the outbound IDOC list (WE02) but could not find the record.
Is there any other way in SAP that i can check?
Also please let me know if there is any other way except IDOC in SAP to send data from R/3 to CRM?

Hi Abhinav,
There are no IDOCs generated in R/3 for replication. R/3 system calls BAPI and Function modules remotely on CRM system which are part of the Adaptors provided for middleware.
Try to deregister the outbound queues in R/3 (Transaction SMQS) and see if you get an entry in the Outbound Queue (Transaction SMQ1). I have not tried this.
If you don't get any entry in the outbound queue then definitely there would be some FM at R/3 end which would be calling CRM system remotely.

Push accounts from ECC into CRM without sales organisation

Hi,
We have setuped middleware connection between CRM and ECC for accounts. In CRM we use enhanced organisation model. Accounts from ECC come into CRM with sales organisation data. Correct working...
But their are also accounts in ECC who don't have sales organisation maintained. How can we get those also in CRM.
With an initial load it doesn't work, with CRMM_BUPA_MAP neither. You don't even see anything in smw01, so ECC don't push anything to CRM.
Any advice? Thx!

From ISA into CRM

Hi Experts,
I have a requirement like this:
The Bill to party number will be passed to the Sales order from ISA(Internet Sales) in a text field or in an unused field in the CRM sales order. So if we can get this information and put it in the bill to party field before saving the sales order, the issue of saving the sales order twice will be eliminated.
In short what we have to do is
Before saving any sales order in CRM, get the input in the text field into CRM sales order and replace the bill to party by the entries in that field.
Can any body sahre this and give some solution?

You can implement order_save badi.
In prepare method, you can fetch the whole order using function crm_order_read. You can get your custom field here, get bill to party number.
Now you can modify the order using function crm_order_maintain to replace your bill-to-party.

Need to help in initial data loading from ISU into CRM

One our client has requirement as
All ISU data applicable (BP, BA, the appropriate technical data, Contracts, Products, Product Configuration and their correspoinding price Keys and Price Amount) to CRM should be loaded into CRM as the part of the intial load.
Eventhough ECRM_GENERATE_EVERH in ISU but its documentation is not available.
Is any provision like Report or RFC or function module present in SAP.

How to avoid configuration product downloading from R/3 into CRM

Hello,
We have CRM 4.0 connected with R/3 backEnd and configurable products are downloading from R/3 into CRM with the whole characteristics.
We don´t use this characteristics in CRM to configure this product and the pricing. Is there any way to avoid this information into CRM??
1.- Though the Middleware???
2.- Though the Uninstalling IPC(internet pricing configurator)???
3.- though the item category of the Business Transaction.???
It´d be grateful to get a way because actually, when we enter the product, this one has to be configurated because of the errors.

Hello Luis,
First of all I am unable to understand how are you getting the characteristic through material download.
All configuration comes through Knowledge Base and its runtime version.
If you want to block configurable materials from flowing to CRM then set the filter on Item Category Group.
I think you must have different item Category group for configurable material.

Migration from ISU to CRM

Hi,
We are populating SAP ISU via Emigall and proposing to replicate all customer data including BP, CA and Contract and all technical master data including CO, Premise and Device. This is a lot of objects and data to replicate from ISU to CRM which will mean our migration takes a long time.
Are there any other options to populating data into CRM? Would you advice LSMW load into CRM and Emigall load into ISU?

My concern is that the replication from ISU to CRM is very slow and will be our bottleneck during migration weekend. I am looking for ways to speed up this replication including alternative ways of populating CRM.

Does materials download from R/3 into CRM trigger Sales Documents?

CRM GURUS -
Can anyone tell me if this statement is true? When we do and synchronized request of specific materials from R/3 into CRM, does this trigger the cooresponding sales transactions to download into CRM that have this material?
What we noticed is that when do a sync request or an intial download of materials from R/3 into CRM, we start getting lots of sales documents in our queues. We also see a lock on any deltas in the outbound queue of R/3 until the material is fully processed in CRM.
It would seem that if a materials changes, you would want to reprocess any sales documents to reflect the material changes - is this statement correct?
Any insight would be helpful.

1) When we do request download for a material sales transactions will not get downlaoded.
2) When you do request download, CRM will put a stop on all R3AD* queues in SMQ1 of R/3.
That is why you see stop on all delta queueus.
3) Those stopped delta queus may be the changes done orders at that time.

From ISU to CRM

My requirement is below
I have created a BOR object in ISU which is related to CRM order item
and in which the import parameters are date and status
now when i enter them and execute object then according there should be reflected in CRM program crm_order_read but i dont know why these are not reflected
i have also checked the FM it is retueming the correct values to CRM
Can anybody has reason why these are not reflected.
