and am following doc 238276.1 in that section 2 option 7. completed with error

Seems that some of the files still in Windows format, You need to change those files format by typing the bellow command.
dos2unix /u01/mmapps/mmappscomn/admin/install/MMAPPS_tanouf/wdbsvr.sh /u01/mmapps/mmappscomn/admin/install/MMAPPS_tanouf/wdbsvr.sh
Do it with all the files.
Run again autoconfig, I am sure it will works.

I am planing to migrate Oracle Application 11.5.10.2 from Windows 2003 to Oracle Enterprise Linux. I have Dual node system. My Application is on APPS NODE and my CONCURRENT MANAGER and DB are on DB node. I applied Patch *4775612* on both the nodes after shutting down the APPLICATIONS services and CONCURRENT MANAGER services on DB node, but failed. The errors are:

Thanks for your reply. I followed your instruction and stopped all services on DB node as my CONCURRENT MANAGER is on DB node and applied the patch. I got success, but when i tried to apply the same patch on APPLICATIONS node i got the following error:

This time i stopped all the services rather disabled them as well and restarted the servers. I also checked adrelink.log and it also displayed the same error message.

Migration Assistant hangs when transferring data from Windows 7 to mac

My PC is a Windows 7 64 bit. When I run Migration Assitant, I get as far as the screen that has my Windows Name and my Windows Account Name. Those are filled in automatically. When I click "Continue", nothing happens.
Any ideas? Thanks.

App could not be installed from Windows Store, Error code:0x80240031

i have tried many times but same error exits only with this app (Perfect 365), rest all apps are being installed easily and are working.
how can i install this app(Perfect 365) and what does this error code mean.

I to am getting this error trying to update from Win 8 x64 Pro Upgrade edition to Win 8.1. Only using Windows defender and Windows Firewall. A couple things to note:
1. My connection to the Internet on this machine is through my phone only, currently have no other means of reaching the Internet, so could this possibly be ISP related? Does the "Windows Store" use some other port rather than 80 or 8080? What ports
does it use? No documentation on this...
2. I ran a system refresh, same exact results. Using "sfc /scannow" finds no errors. I'm close to backing up and FFR-ing at this point.
3. Updates through good old "Windows Update" from control panel install just fine. System (including drivers) are all up-to-date.
4. Other app updates (for "Sports" "Music" and "Video" apps) will not install from the store either. These fail with 0x80072f8 though.
5. Tried "wsreset" and got the same results. I'm admin on the machine and account is tied to my MS Live account.
I'm at a loss here. Ideas?

Migrating Spatial user from windows to solaris

Hi,
I have a user with Spatial tables in oracle 8.1.6 on windows 2000.I want to move this user in to another 8.1.6 database on Solaris unix. When i tried to export the user it gives error with index metadata. If I still import on solaris it misses all spatial indexes.
Is there any workaround for this problem?

Migrated apps and files to mac from time capsule, but no content included. can't find photos, music, documents, etc

Migrated old computer backup on time capsule to new macbook pro.
Applications appear to have moved but can't find any of the content: photos, documents, music, etc.
Where is it?

I'm having problems with old MBP. When I try to transfer MBP to MBP, the old machine crashes.
The reason I know the time capsule transfer occurred is because the software showed up. I just can't seem to find the documents, pictures, music, etc. Any suggestions?
I tried looking for another user file, but nothing seems to be there.

Essbase 11.1.2.1 from Windows to Solaris platform

In our current environment we have Shared Services on server A win2k8 64 bit,Essbase on server B win2k8 64 bit register with Shared Services.What we would like to do is to install Essbase on Server C Sun Solaris 64 bit and register with the existing Shared Services.
Is this achievable?Would some one please provide info on the steps to follow or documentation regarding the same.

What it sounds like you are doing is to stop an application on one server, copy over its files to another server with different pathing, turn it on and expect it to work. It won't. The files keep pathing information in them. There are a couple of ways you could migrate the apps.
1. Use lifecycle manager to export the application to the file system, then copy it to the new server and again using LCM import it. 11.1.2.1 is supposed to copy data as well as other artifacts.
2. Use the backup funcationality to backup the applications\databases, use the wizard to migrate the outline, calc scripts, etc using EAS then copy over the backup file and restore it
3. do the same as 2 for the artifacts then export the data from one server using the database export command and then import the data on the new server

I would like to monitor one instance Oracle 10g that is running on Solaris 5.10. I toolk the url (INFO: >>>>>>>>>>> The Database Control URL is http://zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz:1158/em <<<<<<<<<<<) on the file emca_2010-08-27_05-32-20-PM.log.
Here my two questions about this:
first - I'm now on my Windows where I like to monitor my instance that is running on Solaris. I just put the url on my browse, but it can't open the url. The ping on the solaris is working. Any idea about the reason of why I can't access my instance with this url?
second - I'm using the exceed tool to access the solaris. My problem on the Solaris is that I don't know how start the browser there. If you know, can you tell me, please.
The output of the emctl status of dbconsole or agent is that they are running.

Please help me how to migrate SAPDB 7.3.054 data from Windows 2000 to HP UNIX 11.11.
We are using SAPDB 7.3.54 version for content server 6.30.As per below note( 962019-System copy of MaxDB Content Server Storage)can i migrate SAP DB data or not .
Client requested us for the migaration content server 6.30+ SAPDB 7.3 on unix server and upgrade to 6.40 + Max DB 7.6 .
Any possiblity of direct backup/ restore. because it is an open database .

Failed exporting db from W2K to Solaris

I'm tring to import my DB (8i) from windows to solaris.
When I exported it in windows the charset was WE8ISO8859P1 and WE8ISO8859P1 NCHAR.
Now when trying to import obtained dmp file in unix I got following error:

import done in US7ASCII character set and US7ASCII NCHAR character set
IMP-00069: Could not convert to environment national character set's handle
IMP-00000: Import terminated unsuccessfully
how can I avoid this error?
Is there a way to convert charset?

What is the setting of your nls_lang on the Windows workstation? You may have to temporarily change it to WE8ISO8859P1 when you run the export.

If I am attempting to download app updates before attempting to sync, the problem normally occurs at the first “installing app x” stage. In addition, the whole iTunes experience is extremely sluggish and will even freeze while searching for a track. Everything worked fine on Windows 7. So far, I have repaired the program several times and have checked for compatibility issues, but there is no Windows 8 option in the combo box, obtained after right-clicking the icon and selecting Properties/Compatibility. As a result, I am unable to sync my devices. If I uninstall iTunes before re-installing, will this affect my iTunes libraries? Does anyone have any suggestions?

After going by elimination to isolate if the problem was from (1) iTunes app, (2) my computer or (3) my old iPhone 4G, I figured out what my problem was.
1) First I deleted & reinstalled iTunes on my Windows PC without succes, my playlist did not changed on my iPhone.
2) I tested a successful #sync from the iMac at work.
So my conclusion is: The hard drive on my Windows PC is full and that is affecting iTunes SYNC functionalities.
So I'll do a back-up then run a "Clean Install" of my Windows OS, hoping that it will fix my SYNC problems.
