Minimum Gurantee and Sales based rent conditions
Hi RE-FX experts,
We have a scenario wherein from a given physical rental object, we sell two
different categories of Products. We have seperate Minimum Guranteed
Rent conditions for the two and different Sales Based rent %age share.
In RE-FX Contract, we can not assign same condition type (Minimum
Guranteed rent/Sales Based rent) twice to the same rental object for
the same period.
Kindly suggest if this can be handled through RE-FX.

Hi Experts,
I have a business case wherein One Rental Object has been leased out to a Customer and the Customer is selling two categories of products from the Rental Object. This is a Sales relevant contract.
The Customer is paying different Minimum Guranteed rent for the two Product categories (e.g. Product category A: Minimum Guranteed Rent: 10000 and Product category B: Minimum guranteed rent: 25000).
The Customer has different revenue share for both the Product categories viz Revenue share % for Product category A: 20% and Revenue share %age for Product Category B: 30%.
How can we make a RE Contract like this in the system..
I am trying to create such a contract wherein i have created two reporting rules for the two Product categories and Sales rules as well with the relevant revenue share %age. I am trying to enter Minimum Guranteed rent Condition in the Contract for both the Product Categories seperately since the values are different(10000 & 25000) and the revenue share %age are also different.
But since the conditions are assigned to the Rental Object and as per the design of SAP RE-FX, we can not assign the same condition(Minimum Guranteed Rent here) to same Rental Object for the same period, i am getting stuck.
Can anyone help me on this problem.

I missed it. After I did the changes for this, the process for Sale Based Rent is good but I couldn't posting the result.
I saw that EhP4 has introduced a new feature whereby we can post sales based settlemnet using periodic posting feature. For this, a checkbox is introduced in the system which we have to check in the contract and is named as 'Post using periodic posting'. I dont see this indicator in my system even though I am on Ehp5.
Could you please advise?

Yes, the solution depends on communication protocol which you want to use.
Option1: SAP receives the data through IDOC from EPOS and pass these values to BAPI BAPI_RE_SALES_REP_REPORT
Option2: In case if you are using any middle-ware, middle-ware receives the data from EPOS and tell your middle-ware consultant to consume BAPI BAPI_RE_SALES_REP_REPORT in middle-ware. You can use .Net connector / Java connector in middle-ware to consume SAP BAPI's directly.

It is very difficult to find out what went wrong basing on message number, that to message class RECAPR is common message class and it will be used everywhere in RE process (settlement, periodic postings ......)
if you provide some more details, somebody can help you.
I think all your error message relates to same issue, provide error log details for any single step.

Deposit amount and Billlater based on conditions
Hi Experts,
We have a scenario, where in we have to Collect DEPOSIT AMOUNT from the Customer as per a agreement.
And when ever the agreement is breached, we have to create a Sales Order-Billing to charge the Customer.This should also reduce the Deposited Amount.
How can this be achieved through SAP? Please suggest.
I am aware about the Billing plan, Minimum gurantee procedure and Conracts But will it suit to the Requirement.

this is to inform you that its a tough scenario because deposits deals in FI - AR and customer is related to SD.
let me explain this with an example:
from customer A - deposit collected is 1000/- which will be posted into deposit G/L account as per the payment agreement with the customer.
if customer pays as per norms of agreement no probem up to that time but problem comes when it is breached.
create a new type of service or quantity contract for that and it has to be used for this purpose name it as CBQC because contracts will not have schedule lines and it will base on sales order to bill it.
create a seperate pricing procedure and assign in such a way that it has to be applicable for all the customers and in pricing procedure maintain specially created account cey and assign the same in RAD to deposit G/L account and reduce the balance or deposit or debit the deposit and the same amount should credit to our account

RE : Sales based rent agreement- additional reporting rules
Dear Friends
I have created a contract with relevant to Sales tab flaged.
The starting date of the contract is the middle of the month and the agreement with the Business partner is to make sales based settlement on an monthly basis i.e in days as the contract start date is in the middle of the month and on monthly for rest of the period. In fast entry for new sales rules, we specified the frequency start date and frequency in months and also gave settlement frequency in the same way and then attach condition types to the sales rules.
Since the frequency is reporting rules is given in months, and the system caculates the report for 30 days extending to the next month also.
For your easy understanding I have explained the issue with an example:
Contract Start Date 23.03.2008
Contract end date 22.03.2010
Reporting rule frequency 1 month and start date 23.03.2008
Settlment frequency 1 month and start date 23.03.2008
The settings in Frequency start to "Start of Calender year" in Posting parameter has no effect on reporting rules.
Now I need to run the sales based report as per the following
From 23.03.2008 to 31.3.2008 i. e for 9 Days and after that
every month i. e from 01.04.2008 to 30.4.2008,01.05.2008 to 31.05.2008 and so on

PandaThe issue was relating to both
1) the grading which must have a highest level defined as from X to $0.
2) The condition for the sales rule must have a valid from date. If not, the error displayed is "No sales rule specified" but its actually the related condition that is failing. -
Wrongly posted Sales Based Rent
Hello,
I have posted a SBR with Sales volume Zero. Now, we realised that there is a sales value for that period. Can you please advise how to correct it.
Should i input the new volume in RESRRP and run RESRSE again or should i reverse the old SBR and input the new sales volume and post it again.
Kindly advise.

What you guessed is right. You need to update the sales (whether with RESRRP or manually within contract) which will result in new versions. But then, instead of RESRSE run RESRSECORRECT (Correction of Sales-Based Settlement) if reversing cannot be made.

Compare two columns and formate based on condition
I know this dead horse has been beaten and I've read my fair share of threads and manuals to no avail.. I have two list that consist of movie titles, holiday movies to be exact. I'm creating a holiday movie schedule which consist of three(3) columns...A,B and C. Column A is the Date, Sat, November 17 2012 thru Monday, Dec 24, 2012. Column C consist of a movie list divided into 2 sections with three subsections each. Section 1 is animated movies and Section 2 is live action, each subsection, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3, 2.1, 2.2 and 2.3 are lists based on popularity with the kids...low, medium and high respectively. And finally column B is the movie list relative the column A...the schedule.
As I write a movie title in column B, I'd like the cell fill to be light red and the corresponding title in column C change to strike through font type. This way I know I've added the movie title to the schedule...this comes in handy when I ask the kids to help so we have no duplicates in the schedule. I'm assuming this would take a combination of; Conditional Formatting, cell formulas and perhaps an additional blank column for trigger results.
I'm including the table, which include an experimental column I was working on. As an FYI, this has been completed in Excel already, just hoping to get it done in Numbers.

Both of these are solvable, and the Date solution cold be similar to that used for the 'stock list' in column C. The Movie Title solution is a different case, though.
The stock list is edited only occasionally, so requiring the user to unhide column C, add a title, then rehide the column is workable.
The same is true of the date list, so this too would work with the dates entered into a column that will be hidden, then copied into a visible column with a formula that introduced a detectable difference into the copied version, dependent on the weekday of each date. That difference would be used to trigger the conditional formatting of the cell containing the calculated date as text value. See the example below.
But the (scheduled) Movie Title column doesn't fit nicely into that mode of operation, as it is edited quite often. As editing, usng the model described, requires making the data column visible, editing the entry (or entries) in that column, then rehiding the column, the hassle factor soon becomes insufferable, if nothing else.
The first solution I considered (see earlier reply) is workable only if the the formatted table starts and remains the same size in all details (ie. individual row height) as the main table.Any change in row height in the main table not reflected in the auxiliary table immediately destroys the impression of formatting applying to the correct cells. With cells set to wrap text and varying lengths of movie titles, wrapped lines changing the height of individual rows is pretty much unavoidable.
Best practice here would seem to be to use a separate column to flag the titles already in the "Class" list with a "√" (or flag those not in the list with an "X"), and use conditional formatting to change the background colour of the flagging cell.
Here's a sample, using "W" to flag the weekend dates in the new column B, and "√" to flag the titles that are on the list already in the new column D.
I've added two titles to the weekend date, November 18. One is non-existent (as far as I know), so it doesn't appear in the list and doesn't get flagged; the other is chosen from a visible part of the list to show the highlighting of the title in that list. Column "C" (now column "F" due to the insertion of two new columns) is hidden. G, labelled .Class, is the calculated column (D) from the previous message.

You can choose Org Determine rule for your CRM document.
And if you feel the rule can't match your requirement, you can create a new rule, and create customize function module for the rule, you can add your determine logic in the function module to realize your requirement. -

In the case of complex make to order scenario, through MRP, the Project shall be assigned to the sales order. Then there will be milestone billling and all. In the case of mass production MTO, it is only creation of production order for each sales order item and each sales order item shall have sales order cost estimate.

Customers, Sales Orders Restrictions based on Sales Office and Sales Groups
hi all,
We have a typical scenario for one of our customers. They are SAP ERP, ECC 6.0.
They have sales employees/managers assigned to customers. In order to maintain the link between the sales employees and the customers, their earlier implementation partner followed the following method for the linkage.
Each sales employee and each sales managers are given a SAP User ID like 101, 012, 103 etc.. Sales groups OR Sales offices are also maintained with the same numbers/IDs. At the customer master level, each customer's sales group is given the sales employee ID (which is same as that of the sales group). The example is as follows.
Customer No. Sales Group Sales Office
CU1 101 108
CU2 101 108
CU3 102 108
CU4 103 109
CU5 104 110
The sales group names and the sales offices names are given the same names as that of the user IDs of the sales employees/sales managers. In the above example, the sales employee 101 (sales group 101) is assigned to customers CU1, CU2. The sales manager 108 (Sales office 108) is managing the sales employees 101 and 102.
Now the customer has some authorization issues. He wants us to provide authorizatinos in such a way that -
if the sales employee 101 logs on to the system he should be able to Display the CUSTOMERS and the Sales Orders (XD03, VD03, VA03) that are assinged only to him (In other words with the sales group 101) and similarly for other sales employees.
if the sales manager 108 logs on to the system he should be able to display the customers and the sales orders that are assigned to his sales employees (101, 102). In other words with the sales office as the manager's ID 108.
I tried to use the authorization object V_VBKA_VKO but this doesnt see to be serving the purpose as this object is not being checked at all in any of the above VA03, XD03 and VD03 transactions.
Similarly I did not find any other authorization object which makes use of Sales group field and Sales office field which also has a linkage to VA03, XD03 and VD03 transactions.
The customer is evaluating our contract with them based on this solution.

1. Set the Reference1 field in the "header" to the order the delivery is based on
delivery.Reference1 = salesOrderDocumentId.ToString();
2. I had to add all the additional expenses to the delivery too - you may not have any, so this may be mute.

Hi Experts,
We have to set a minimum gurantee condition in a way that, if the net value calculated in a sales order is less than the minimum value then the minimum vaule should be charged in the sales order.
E.g If Calculated Net Value < Minimum value : Then the Minimum value becomes the Net value
If Calculated Net Value > Minimum value : Then the Net value is unchanged
The problem is there is a condition PMIN which is for Minimum gurantee but it is calculated per unit but cant be used for the comparing the Net value for the total quantity.
E.g quantity 10 @ 5:00 USD per unit = 50(Net value)
and let say the Minimum gurantee is 55, the system should add up the less 5 in the net value
But ti use PMIN we have to set PMIN as 5.5 per unit so that its 55
But we need a condition so that it checks the 55 against the total net value.
Please suggest if there is any standard offering for the same.

Is this minimum guarantee condition material specific?
I suggest just maintain a condition type which would hold the minimum guarantee value in its condition record and insert a routine in the procedure against the net value row which would just compare the calculated net value with that condition value and pick up whichever is greater.
You can maintain this condition on a general access sequence where the routine can search for.
