MIRO Invoice Entry Date

Hello All -
There are multiple dates on the invoice when it is entered via MIRO - Invoice Date, Posting Date, Baseline date, etc.   I would like to find the date that the invoice was first entered into SAP.  This should be a system generated date similar to the 'Created On' date that can be found in EKKO for the date the PO was created in SAP. 
Can anyone tell me what date field that would be for the MIRO invoice and what table I can find it in?
I found Document date and entry date in RBKP but I can't tell which one is the date that the entry was actually created in SAP and system generated and which date is manually entered.

A deletion indicator is not really a hard stop for anything, except you customize warning messages into error messages.
Repeat the case  in your test system. to see which messages come up

    We are trying to transfer some basic information from the PO to the invoice header data by the time we process the logistic invoice verification (transaction MIRO).
    The information we want to transfer is:
    1.     PO Text (screen field DRSEG-TXZ01) -
    > should be transferred to Header text field (screen field INVFO-SGTXT) located in the tab u2018Basic Datau2019.
    2.     Purchasing Document Number (screen field DRSEG-EBELN) -
    > should be transferred to Assignment field (screen field INVFO-ZUONR) located in tab u2018Detailsu2019.
    The exits we had listed for this tasks are:
    EXIT_SAPLMR1M_002: Change Proposed Account Assignment
    EXIT_SAPLMR1M_003: Pass On Document Header Data
    EXIT_SAPLMR1M_004: Change the Withholding Tax- and Split Table
    EXIT_SAPLMRMP_010: Analyze Document Header and Item Data
    The second one, EXIT_SAPLMR1M_003, should have stopped at by the time we processed the information, but it didnu2019t.
    Iu2019ve heard EXIT_SAPLMRMP_010 would no longer be functional from version 4.6c.
    Users enter the information in MIRO following this chronological order:
    1.Invoice date
    2.Reference
    3.Purchase order number ---> operation which u201Ccallsu201D the PO to the screen.
    4.Amount
    5.Flag u201Ccalculate taxu201D field (if mandatory)
    6.Tax on sales/purchases code (if mandatory)
    And then they post. Thatu2019s all.
    Weu2019ve tried to get this data from the time we u201Ccallu201D the PO to the screen, just to see if we can get it before we saved the document, and we werenu2019t capable of doing it. The second option is to get the data right after we process the document (post it), so weu2019ve reached bapi INVOICE_UPDATE but we cannot locate the exact place to put the references to the dynpro (although, weu2019re not 100% sure if this bapi would solve the problem).

    Hi Sunil.
    Function MRM_INVOICE_CHECK doesn't exist in system 4.6c. Also I've searched for it in ECC 5 and I got the same result. Are you sure about the name of the function?
    From the function group MRMC, I found this:
    MRM_BADI_INVOICE_CHECK    
    MRM_DUPLICATE_INVOICE_CHECK
    I haven't still check them. But for what I know, the second one (...DUPLICATE...) processes a control to avoid a double entry of the invoice, I not sure it will work. I'll let you know.

  • Invoice receipt date in FB60 & MIRO

    In FB60 & MIRO, invoice date and posting date are showing up in the basic tab.  In addition to invoice date, would like to see invoice receipt date.  What needs to be done so that this shows up in FB60 and MIRO for data entry?

  • MM MIRO Invoice Parking calc due date from PO not working

    When I Park and invoice linked to a purchase order (PO) using MIRO/ MIR7 the invoice due date is not calculating using either the Vendor or PO terms code. We do not see the same issue with FB60 and both work fine when the invoice is Posted and not parked.
    Have you seen this before ?
    We are at ECC5/10

    I would not assume the invoice due date to be calculated when the Invoice is parked. I would actually use the due date to be calculated based on tthe baseline date calculated at the time of posting..
    You can change the baseline date calculation in OME2 to the posting date, the entry date, doc. date or your own calculation

  • Invoice Receipt date field in MIR7 and MIRo transcation

    HI Friends ,
    I need your expertise help.
    I could see that there is a field "Invoice Receipt Date( REINDAT)" in RBKP table .
    Does this field has any control function i.e. what is the importance of this field?
    In our system I could not see this field . What setting is required to make this field as visible .
    I tried for the screen variant setting in LIV spro setting but could not get any clue ?

    Check OSS Note 609655 - MIRO: Missing invoice document headers.
    Per this note;
    Symptom
    You entered documents with the Transaction 'Add incoming invoice' (MIRO) or 'Park incoming invoice' (MIR7). During the posting, in rare cases it can occur that the header data (Entry in table RBKP) is not generated by the system. These must be generated subsequently.
    Reason and Prerequisites
    Database problems, SQL error.
    Solution
    Implement report Z_RECOVER_MM_HEADER mentioned below in your system. The repair is carried out only by SAP.

  • Service entry without an entry date/not linked to goods receipt/invoice?

    Dear Gurus,
    I created a service entry against line 10 of PO. When viewing the service entryu2019s u201CAccept. Datau201D tab, there is a document date and a posting date.
    When viewing the u201CHistory tab,u201D the created dated is 01/12/11...
    When viewing the POu2019s u201CPurchase Order Historyu201D tab, the Service Entry does not have an entry date Additionally, when I go to the u201CGR/IR Assgtu201D view, the service entry is at the very top of the view But the goods receipt and invoice processing document are at the bottom, grouped together, but without the service entry.
    Please help as why is it happeing like this?

    I m creating service PO and later on doing service entry sheet w.r.t the PO...in service entry sheet, i m entring entry date, posting date and all other relevant informations...and saving the SES and later on releasing it...
    after this, I am going to PO history tab, there i m seeing the SES number but entry date field is missing...

    I want to add custom fields in basic data screen of Invoice entry in SRM 5.0.
    As invoice Entry screen is divided into three parts:
    1. Basic data Screen
    2. Header data screen
    3. Item data screen
    Now according to OSS Note number 672960 we are able to add Custom fields in the header as well as item data screen of invoice entry without any difficulty.
    but our requirement is to add custom fields in the basic data screen.
    Is there way available to add custom fields in the basic data screen.

    MIRO(Invoice Verification) posting date is lesser than MIGO(Goods Receipt) posting date.
    Explanation:
    Miro sholud be posted after the GRN has posted. It means that the Posting date of Miro should be greater than or equal to the Posting date of Migo. But I am facing the issue that I can able to post the Miro before the Migo date..
    For example:  I have posted the Migo(Goods receipt) document with the posting date u2013 10.8.09 and at the same time I can also able to post the Miro(Invoice Verification) posting date as u2013 5.08.09. This is should not be allowed . Kindly give me the solution. Is there any options in SAP standards to restrict this type of Postings(without using user exit).

    you can give logic as whil;e MIRO system will compare posting date with MIGO doc , then create a Z error msg in se91 nad assign it in that badi

    For Invoice veriifcation you can use 2LIS_06_INV and for Sales order related data source you can use 2LIS_13_VDHDR,2LIS_13_VDITM and 2LIS_13_VDKON.

  • Post park ivoice M8079 'Reversal value greater than value invoiced to date'

    I create a Service purchase order number is 8200000747 in our products system, and service entry sheet number is 1000026152, material document number is 5000306476.
    When I create a park invoice reference this Service PO, the system can not clear GR/IR account with that service entry sheet(1000026152). When we want to post this park invoice, system generate message M8079 'Reversal value greater than value invoiced to date'. But, this item never been verification invoice , I can find this not cleared  GR/IR data in MR11, this item not a multi account assignment , no foreign currency.
    What happened? How can I carry out the correct GR/IR account data in park invoice?

    sorry for the late reply.
    For the FI check, there is no specific setup. Only thing you need is to set the corresponding flag in the vendor master (company code view). Then, if the prerequsites are met (see below), a warning message will appear.
    How the check is working in FI? (ie., FB01, FB60 or similar, NOT logistics invoice verification, for LIV, see below):
    1. Is this a vendor line (account type K)?
    2. Is the flag set in the vendor master?
    3. Is the line item sales relevant (based on the posting key, e.g., 31 is sales relevant, 25 is not)
    4. Is this a normal document? (not recurring, parked, clearing, sample doc)
    5. Do we know the document currency?
    6. Do we know the document date?
    7. Is the amount in document currency <> 0?
    If the answer to all of the above was YES, then the check is carried out. What is actually checked, is table BSIP. Every time when you post a document meeting the above criteria, BSIP will be updated. Next time the BSIP entries are checked.
    And here the checking rules:
    IF the reference field (BKPF-XBLNR) is filled in, then the message is issued when there is a BSIP record already with the same:
    - company code
    - vendor number
    - document date
    - reference
    - document date
    - D/C indicator
    IF the reference field is NOT filled in, in addition to the above, the amount in document currency is also checked in BSIP, so that field must match too in order to get the message.
    The message is F5 117 and the type can be changed in customizing (view V_T100C) as usual for customizable messages.
    The above list also answers another question in this thread: NO, it is not possible to check it cross company code. I.e. if you have entered an invoice for company code A, then you can enter the very same invoice for company code B, there will be no message at all. You need to create some validations (transaction OB28) to achieve this. The standard check is working within the same company code only, see the list above.
    Now,  that was the pure FI thing, how about Logistics Invoice verification (MIRO, etc.). Here, you have some more configuration options. The function module called here is MRM_FI_DOCUMENT_CHECK.
    The check in Logistics Invoice Verification is carried out only if the below criteria are met:
    1. Reference field is filled in (!!!!! extremely important!!!!)
    2. This is an invoice (and not a credit memo... see RBKP-XRECH must be X)
    3. The vendor number is known
    4. The flag is set in the vendor master (company code view).
    The check is made against BSIP again, but WHAT exactly is checked, i.e., which fields must match, is customizable. In table T169P, you can tell the system which fields you want to consider as indicators for a double invoice entry. You can choose from: Reference, Company code, Document date.
    Here is part 2 of the answer to the previous question: YES, Logistics Invoice Verification can be set up in a way that invioces are checked cross-company code. If you do NOT mark the field company code, than this field is not checked, and the same invoice cannot be entered for 2 different company codes.
    First, the system tries to find a BSIP record with the same values in the fields below:
    - Vendor number
    - Document currency
    - Amount in document currency (this only if Reference is NOT ticked in table T169P)
    - Company code (only if ticked in T169P)
    - Document date (only if ticked in T169P)
    - Reference (only if ticked in T169P)
    If there was a BSIP entry found, message M8 108 will appear as a warning. Again, you can change the msg type to error if you like (user-specific).
    Also, Logistics Invocie Verification can be a 2-step procedure: first, the invoice creation (entry in table RBKP) and second, the posting of this invoice to Accounting (entry in table BKPF). In most cases, this happens in the very same moment when you press Save in MIRO, but it could be also set up in your company that you do these 2 steps separately.
    That's why after the posted invoices (BSIP) were checked, the system tries to check the invoices not yet posted to Accounting (invoice document status is "Not yet posted"). This is to make sure an entered but not yet posted invoice is also checked early enough. Basically the same fields as above are checked, but the message is a different one: M8 642. Default type is warning, changeable to Error if you like.

    During purchase from dealer / trader I want to do excise entry . I am not entering anything in PO . I am giving Excise entry at the time of MIGO .  Now please tell me at the time of MIRO how can the tax liability be booked .

    In case of procurement from dealers the PO price is excise inclusive. So before goods receipt in J1IEX capture the excise with respect to Purchase order. During capture change the Excise Base amount to the Accessable value that the vendor will provide in its transporter copy. Tick the MRP indicator in the Excise header in Miscellaneous tab. Give the Excise Invoice Number, date & save it. Now During Goods receipt refer the excise invoice number & put the same date & the excise amounts will be copied from the Excise invoice. Post the goods receipt. Check the External amount in the Quantity tab in the Goods receipt document. Put that amount in the MIRO screen during Invoice verification.
    Do the same for each & every line item in GR document. You will see that the VAT amount is properly calculated. The VAT amount will hit during invoice (MIRO). The CST is an inventorized item & will hit during the Goods receipt.

I was using this user exit EXIT_SAPLMRMP_010 (Program ZXM08U16).But this is not working fine as this has no exporting parameter nor tables of structure RBKP_V.

    Is it possible to make display of only those delivery notes against which MIRO (Invoice verification has not done).
    Also MIRO with reference to GRN number is possible or not ?

    To avoid difficulties post miro with Reference document (PO Reference Tab) - Delivery note click on Radio button a possible entries for delivery note screen will appear. Here you can search specific delivery note by a lot of criteria which will save ur time and effort also you can see MIGO Document.  Click and put tick to adopt and post Delivery note / migo and enter required field.
