Missing one step

Question

I have installed the jsdk and started to tackle the instructions and came across this step that I couldn't do. the instruction that I couldn't accomplish was to put a classpath in the autoexec.bat file. The prolblem is that I can't find the autoexec.bat file. I looked in the c:\ drive for it and also performed a search. I am using windows xp home edition. I have figured out how to use the servletrunner but can't set the classpath.
Any help would be appreaciated.

compiled with the javac compiler.Now when you say compiled with the javac compiler do you mean the jdk? I have the jdk1.1.8. Or does it get compiled with the jsdk2.1? I tried to compile it with the jdk1.1.8 but it gave me these errors
