Missing qty updation

dear all;
plant X sends 100 NOS materials to plant Y (STO) Plant Y receives only 90nos.10nos. were missed in transit .where in transport vendor is responsible for the loss .
requirement:
1. I need to debit % of value of 10no. to transporter and rest to move to write off account from supplying plant.
2. i need to update and account missing qty. 10no. (stock in transit) at suppying plant
how do i do this?

I do MIGO at receiving plant for 90no.per se.Question is can I do migo
trxn at supplying plant with "return delivery" for 10 nos and then PGR and
MB1A movement type 551 (move to scrap ) Would this 10no.get accounted and
would this trxn get closed? is this correct?

u are doing intra company stock transfer.
it can be done by ONE STEP or TWO STEP based on ur requirement.
if ur doing it by using two step without delivery then at the time of goods receipt(migo) u do it based on the actual qt of material received.
when u will do goods issue using /nmb1b & movement type 351.... it will not update automatically in the receiving plant..... stock will be in transite.... then do MIGO it will be update the actual qt u received...
If u want to do using two step with delivery via shipping.
then starts with ME21N (doc type UB )
VL10B (document type NL) background processing...
go to vl02n & do picking & PGI
Then MIGO....
do the goods receipt of the actual qt u received.
If some meterial is missing then the transporter will be liable for that.

Key Figure missing in update rules

Hi All,
A Key figure is missing in Update rule of ODS & Infocube.
But it is listed in infosource ( comm. & transfer structure) of ODS.
Why it is so . Any suggestions.
infosource->ODS_>infocube.

Hi,
I will give the process that I followed (as you specified) now:
1. I deleted the Source System Assignment for the Infosource.
2. Next went to Source Systems. Right click on source system and replicate it.
3. Select the InfoSoucre and assign the Data Source.
4. Here I automatically got the Field(ZZMBGBTR).
5. I added the field in the Communication Structure. and then assigned the Transfer Rules. Next activated the InfoSource.NExt checked the InfoCube for the KeyFigure. That InfoObject ZQTY is available.
6. I activated the InfoCube. Right Click and select Create Update Rules. Still I didnt got that InfoObject.

Reinstalling Tiger: Software Update Missing Many Updates

I've seen a few similar topics on this issue, but only in so far as Software Update missing an update here or an update there. I am currently reinstalling Tiger on a Power Macintosh G3 B&W that has been heavily upgraded. The system specs are as follows..
1GHz PowerLogix G3 (using MAChSpeed to enable full processor speed since the included CPU Director software won't work in 10.4.11)
1GB of RAM
128MB Radeon 9200 Graphics card connected to an LG 1952 display and set to 1440x900 / millions of colors
I'd go on, but the remainder of the hardware upgrades should have no effect on Software Update to the best of my knowledge. Previously I had this machine running 10.4.11, and through the Software Update program I had installed all of the recommended updates, which included numerous security updates, Safari 4.0.3, and iTunes 8.2.1. Everything was running perfectly smoothly, but after having tested several software configurations and having decided on one in particular, I set out to reinstall Tiger from scratch in order to keep things as clean as possible. I've tried several different times now with the same results each time. Once the system is up and running, regardless of whether or not I install MAChSpeed before or after running Software Update, Software Update simply does not provided all of the updates that I believe are actually there. It did see and did allow me to install the following updates..
10.4.11 Combo update (I installed this one separately before any other updates)
Java 1.3.1 and 1.4.2 Release 2
iTunes Phone Driver 1.0
Migration and DVD/CD Sharing Update
Quicktime 7.6.4
Security Update 2009-005 (PPC)
J2SE 5.0 Release 4
Java for Mac OS X 10.4, release 5

[ditto], release 8
[ditto], release 9
Unless Security Update 2009-005 is meant to be a combined security update (doubtful), there are obviously several security updates that are missing. Also, I'm surprised that Software Update saw and installed Quicktime 7.6.4 but didn't see or install the latest PPC versions of iTunes or Safari. Safari 4.0.3 as I understand requires Security Update 2009-002, so naturally it would not see or install Safari without that update being installed first. While I don't necessarily mind installing updates manually (downloading them individually off Apple's support site and then installing by hand), I really prefer using Software Update to better automate the process. Up until now I have never had any problems with Software Update, but this problem is certainly aggravating. My primary concern is that I have no idea what updates are necessary and what updates are not necessary to ensure proper and relatively secure operation of my system, and I have no way of knowing whether or not Software Update will see any future updates (provided that Apple continues to support Tiger for a little while longer). If Software Update is missing crucial updates out of the gate, how can I be sure that it will see any further crucial updates that may hopefully be released?
I know that's part question / part rant, but I've been wracking my brain for the past few days over this one. Any information that could help solve this problem will definitely be appreciated, especially since my B&W is my preferred browsing machine.
Incidentally, my iBook, a Clamshell FW SE, is currently running the same setup that my B&W was previously running.. 10.4.11 with Quicktime 7.6.4, iTunes 8.2.1, and Safari 4.0.3, so as far as I can tell, this shouldn't be hardware related (my iBook is far less powerful than my B&W currently is). Also, a cursory glance at the Installed Updates list on my iBook definitely shows that my Software Update on my B&W is missing many updates.

I reformatted the drive first and did a clean install. I'm currently in the process of downloading the standalone installers for Safari 4.0.3 and iTunes 8.2.1. It's looking like that's the solution at present, but I'm still curious as to why Software Update won't see any iTunes or Safari updates within the current system configuration's capabilities (speaking to both apps possibly being cumulative). I can't see Software Update simply not having those updates because there is newer version out, if indeed they are cumulative, since that would mean that anyone reinstalling or upgrading on an older machine would be forced to perform some of the updates manually where not too long ago they would have been able to simply use Software Update as a "one stop" solution.
Oh well, maybe I'm just being too picky . I've had to deal with running around in circles to find software updates for manual installs for years with Windows systems, and Apple's "one stop" Software Update system was a wonderful, welcome change to that.

We have no way of knowing. Maybe you did or maybe you didn't. If you don't tell us what version you have, how could we know?

Facetime Missing Security Update

So me and most of my friends have iPhone 4's. we have been placing facetime calls all the time. i got curious about facetime for mac and decided to try it out. Everytime I try to install it, it says missing Security Update 2010-005. I've downloaded this and tried to install it over and over. It goes thru installation and restarts like it should. Tried to install facetime again after and it still says that its missing the security patch. Idk what to do to fix it. i've even installed other updates, 2010-006 and 2010-007 but with no prevail. Any suggestions?!

I have OSX version 10.5.8, which is below the minimum required for the facetime software.
I did 'software update' yet it never shows any software update available.
Do i have to manually do the software update for my mac? or should it be automatic. If it should be automatic what have i done wrong? All the settings i can see say that it is automatic. And besides - shouldnt the update for 10.6.5 be showing (or anything more advanced than 10.5.8) in the software update section?!

Check you have all the latest system app updates. To do so, download and install an app called Lumia System Updater and use it to check and update the system apps as necessary.

User faces , u201Cqty update not active, function not possibleu201D error in MIGO.
The receipt is for an STO and the material is split valuated. Qty and value updation is active and already similar receipt has been done for many qty.
Throw some light on this

Was the material type for the material changed recently? Pls. check the same.
If the qty update is active for the receiving plant & material type, then there should not be any issue.

Scrap sales without QTY updation

Dear Gurus,
We have a scenario were we would like to sell the scrap material ( old iron pcs, packaging material etcu2026) through sales process. Kindly advise the best scenario for the same. The excise duty and sales tax would be applicable ( ED10.3%, S.Tax 4% + surcharge 5%). This scenario would be without material movement and the quantity would be only for value calculation purpose.
What i feel is we can tackle the same using the QTY updation option in the Material type level, but if the business is going to sell IRON PCS through normal sales, and after one point of time, the same becomes a scrap , so is it advisable to change the material type of the same to what is being used for scrap (without QTY Updation?

No dont go for differentiating the material type. For scrap sales, material type should always be FERT. So, you go with differentiating item category. In VOV4, for scrap sale order type, maintain default item category as TAX and manual as TAN.
As you would be aware, item category TAX will not check the quantity and you can do PGI and follow the normal sales process. As you said, whenever you want to check the stock, this can be changed in sale order manually.

Sign of payment is missing for update type SE3005

When I am trying to create a security transaction the following error is displayed.
- Sign of payment is missing for update type SE3005.
But, when I remove tick from the check box for CM relevant I am able to create the same. The path is CFM - TM - General Settings - Link to Cash Management - Specify update types for Cash Management.
Can someone clarify on this.

Thanks for the Response. But we have not configured the Payment Reporting functionality for any of our Treasury products.
However the issue has got resolved as the configuration settings were missing in :
Treasury and Risk Management >Transaction Manager > Securities > Position Management > Securities Account Management > Update Types > Specify Update Types for Securities Account Management.
Now it has been configured for update type SAM1800.

When going to your software updates on your device it will provide you with the latest available update for your device.
the iPhone 4 will update to iOS 7.0.4 provided all other updates the device is asking for has been completed.
