MM-XI-SRM scenario

Dear All,
I have to develope  2 interfaces(PurchaseRequestERPSourcingRequest_Out,PurchaseRequestERPSourcingRequest_In) to send PurchaseRequest from ecc to srm system.i have gone through the sdn.i read many thread but still i couldn't find clear solution.
what i have understood is
1.this is idoc to abap proxy senario.
2.need to import xi content for srm and no need to do mapping ,nothing to do in IR.only thing is to configure in ID.
my doubts are
1.which idoc i have to use for this?
2.how many tech sys, business systems i have to create of which type?
3.how many logical systems need to create?(srm, ecc,xi)
4.how to route the messages or map?
5.shall i need to do settings like outbound idoc settings for ecc to xi and abap proxy settings for xi to srm?
anybody can please help...or provide step by step links.any help would be appreciated.thanks in advance.
Regards
Vinay

> 1.which idoc i have to use for this?
search in service market place is there any predefined content available for this ,if yes then use it else try to understand what are the table fields you are going to send from MM system and accordingly identify the IDoc,here you need ABAPer help,
> 2.how many tech sys, business systems i have to create of which type?
you required Two technical and Bussiness Systems(SRM and MM)
> 3.how many logical systems need to create?(srm, ecc,xi)
2 Logical Systems
> 4.how to route the messages or map?
Mapping logic depend on your bussiness requirement, get in touch with functional team.
> 5.shall i need to do settings like outbound idoc settings for ecc to xi and abap proxy settings for xi to srm?

yeah, you have to create all configurations take help from Basis.

  • Namespace problem in SRM scenario.

    Hi Experts,
I am using the RFQ scenario on SRM (Proxy) to PI to RFC.
The scenario is standard SRM Scenario.
The problem is with namespace, coming from SRM Proxy is http://sap.com/xi/SRM/Sourcing/Global
using same message Type on PI, but XML namespace here in PI is different for this message, it is http://sap.com/xi/SAPGlobal/Global
As the namespaces are not matching, the message is in RED.
How I can solve this ?

    Hi Vijaykumar,
    Thanks for your reply.
But it is standard proxy structure, Is it fine to modify this ?
& it is proxy, so we have to regenerate it in SRM also.
    is it fine ?

  • Implementation costs SuS-SRM scenario (service procurement/web-based)

    Hi out there,
I am currently trying to rough-estimate the implemantation costs for a SuS-SRM scenario (service procurement - supplier enablement/web-based) with all the components it requires:
software-wise: SRM with SuS and XI would be needed
    Hardware-wise ? (rough estimate)
    Consulting fees ? (rough estimate)
Current facts: SAP Enterprise 4.7 in use
Or maybe somebody can refer me to a SAP price list. I have searched high and low with no positive result. A rough estimate would be good enough.

    Dear Emmanuel,
Yes you will not find the Interface mapping after the scenario generation. These SRM scenarios are Proxy communication scenarios and mainly involved with no change in structures.
Regarding the Communication channels, yes you have to create the channels first, before the scenario generation.
The SRM scenarios are mainly used with proxy communication and you have to create channels with adapter type XI.
In your case - the scenario is - Service_Procurement_SupplierEnablement . you have to create two receiver communication channels. this scenario mainly exchanges data between EBP and SUS. the integration happens with the below interfaces-
    InvoiceConfirmation_Out, InvoiceRequest_Out,  PurchaseOrderRequest_Out, ServiceAcknowledgementConfirmation_Out, SupplierPortalTradingPartner_CreateOrChange_Out ,  InvoiceRequest_Out  etc.

  • Sizing MDM-SRM scenario

    Hi,
In MDM 7.1 how many hosts are actually needed to run a MDM-SRM scenario? Do you need all five (import server, syndication server, mdm server, layoutserver and dbms) or is it enough with one mdm server that hosts the whole MDM solution?  And if so, does the SRM catalogue require a seperate server, or does it run on the same server as a regular EP server? Im feeling a bit confused in this whole MDM environment thing atm.. please help out

    Hi Naim
For answer your question you should provide more information about your plans.
    For example:
if you haven't plan to do import master data automatically-  import server is not needed
if you haven't plan to do syndicate master data automatically - syndication server is not needed
if you haven't plan to do product catalog - layout server is not needed

  • SRM scenario XI / PI requirements

    Hi all,
i have a question regarding XI requirements in SRM scenarios. What are the requirements for CLASSIC, EXTENDED CLASSIC, STAND ALONE and DECOUPLED scenarios? Are there standard contents for all of them? I understand that in CLASSIC, the connection of ERP and SRM-EBP is via RFC. Can we use XI instead for the integration to be clear?

    Hi
Downlaod SAP SRM SERVER and SRM SERVER IC tpz and import them in IR.
one of these would have the mappings and the other would contain service intrefaces. If you want to make any changes, copy this to a custom and make releavnt changes.

  • Automatically create a PO from a catalog buy in the classic SRM scenario

    All,
We are on SRM SAPK-70207INSRMSRV classic scenario and R3 EHP6 FOR SAP ERP 6.0
When a shopping cart is created and approved from the MDM catalogue we get an automatic purchase requisition. currently the purchasers manually create the purchase order from that purchase requisition but we want to have an automatic purchase order for every all catalogue buy.
is this possible in the classic scenario ?
Can we also assign specific purchasers to these automatically created purchase orders, based on, for instance, the purchasing group as we use vendor invoice management so these purchasers will receive invoices with a price differences.
    Thanks as ever.

Depending on product responsability and organizational responsability, purchasing group is automatically determined for each SC item.
For those purchasing groups, users are assigned inside the PPOSA_BBP transaction.
So, i do not understand your request.

  • MDM catalogs to be used for PM-SRM scenario

    Hello All,
We are in a situation where we are using the SRM-MDM scenario for regular shopping carts. And also would like to leverage these MDM catalogs for purchases made in ECC Plant Maintenance "work Orders" for non-stock ECC material numbers maintained in ECC.
These material numbers in ECC will have a Manufacturing Part Nmber (MPN) in the material master data.
Since we had some difficulty connecting these SRM-MDM catalogs directly to the ECC work order we would like to bring these requisitions generated by "Work Orders" and push them to SRM. (Standard SAP)
Once these Requisitions come into SRM as SC.. the system automatically approves this SC (Which is standard SAP)  but in this process we would like to know if there is a way the system can automatically make a call to MDM based on the Manufacturing Part Number (MPN) and bring in the price and the vendor details back to the SC automatically.
Currently we are using SRM 6.0 and MDM 2.0 in our landscape..
Any suggestions will be appreciated and rewarded..

  • Third party -- XI -- SRM Scenario,

    Hi SRM experts,
We have a third party sending XML PO Request with external reference ID to XI, map it to SRM PO Request, and send to SRM. What we would want the SRM to do is to process the incoming request, generate  a PO number, and send back an XML PO confirmation with the external reference ID and newly generated PO number.
In R/3, I know we have to set up partner profiles, ports, and message control to automate the creation and sedning of order response for an incoming order request. Are there equivalent configurations we can do in SRM? If yes, where can we do that? Basically I would like to create an output determination when a PO is created in SRM, so that the PO is sent to the third party application via XI.
Has anyone have any suggestion on this? or encountered similar scenario?
    Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    Hello Karma,
What is the "PO Request" ? Is it same scenarion with this ?

  • SRM scenario's difference

    hi everyone,
i want to know the difference& functionality of technical scenarios in SRM............
    1) can we activate the classic &extn. classic at the same time?is it possible.
    2) is it possible to replicate the material from SRM to R/3? but i know from R/3 to SRM.
    3) which technical scenario is better for industry requirements?
can anyone pls put an eye to solve these.points will b awarded. send asap.
    Warm Regards
    rakhi

    Hi,
For all your questions I think Claudia answers are correct. Just to add one more point that defining the backend documents whether to happen in SRM or R/3 can be done in Purchasing group and Product category combination in SPRO.
That kind of scenario is called Decoupled Scenario. Normally when we opt for direct material (STOCK) the system behaves as extended classic. For consumables classic will be good option.

  • SAP SRM Scenarios

Is it possible to revert back  to classic scenario , after extended classic scenario has been implemented in the system in SAP SRM ? If so, how to perform that activity ? Thanks.

    Hi Harini,
If the extended classic checkbox is checked, then you cannot revert this setting back.
But even though you have this extended scenario activated you can always have classic scenario also running with few SPRO settings to control the same using product categories.
    This becomes your decoupled scenario.
    Hope this helps/.
