Modify order problem for W520; now I have 3 laptops enroute!

Hello all! I placed an order on 11/27/11 for a W520 system for a total of $1275.35 (Bill Me Later) with a quad core i7 and Quadro 1000M. I decided to modify my order and go with a Quardo 2000M. I called on 11/28/11 and spoke with a sales rep and she reconfigured me a system with the change to the 2000M for a total of $1437.00. But she didn't pick the correct processor, she only picked a dual core i7 and not a quad core. She re did another configuration correctly for a total of $1488.05.
She said that all I had to do was call Bill Me Later and explain to them what happened and they would cancel the original order from 11/27/11. She never said that the system built in error would be charged at all and now I have all 3 charges showing up on my Bill Me Later account.
BIll Me Later is of no help and said "We just provide the financing for the item and these are all approved..." I called back Lenovo and the person who I talked with said that in the worse case scenario, I'll end up with all 3 laptops getting delivered and just to not open the 2 that I don't want. He said that if I were to receive all 3, just call customer service and explain the situation and I wouldn't be charged any fees or shipping either way.
Luckily my Bill Me Later account has a high enough credit line for all 3 systems to be on there otherwise I may not have been able to order what I wanted.
I find this a terrible customer service experience so far that even 1 minute after a Sales Rep configured a W520 incorrectly she was unable to cancel the order.
Has anyone else ran into this problem with Bill Me Later and Lenovo? How long does it take for the Status to update to cancelled on the Order status web page?
I hate for my first post to be negative but I am truly looking forward to getting my (the correct one) machine since I think Lenovo's are the best built laptops in the industry.

I just for off the phone with Lenovo returns. I explained the situation and provided them with my order numbers and while I was on the phone I received 1 email for each laptop with the RMA #. I then received the UPS shipping labels via email for each. I opted to receive UPS labels because I have daily pickup at my office.
I was told that once they receive the laptops they take a few days to inspect them and then issue a credit. So I should be all set before Christmas!
A+ for customer service!
Also got my 12 more GB of ram and installed it. Loving my W520!

    One thing, don;t think of them as being imported in any one particular order.
    The order of the images is completely fluid, you can change it anytime you want to suit your needs at that particular moment.
    As Léonie showed you select the order you want to see the images in by selecting the item you want to sort on in the pull-down.
    The only time fluid sort order can be a problem is when you export groups of images. If you put the images into a particular order in Aperture when you export them and view them in the Finder the order they are in may very well be different. In this case you could give names to the images that include a sequence number or index.
    Then when they are viewd in the Finder they will be in them same order they were in in Aperture.

    It's always good to go with one thing at a time and stay focused on that. Let's start with the OS you're running. Click on the Apple menu > About This Mac. What does it say under Mac OS X version ?

  • Been having iTunes problems for months - now it won't work at all

    For the last few months, iTunes has been failing to update (halfway through download it throws up an error saying the update failed. Trying to update manually threw up the errors I've linked to below). So I decided to try to fix it at last, I uninstalled iTunes and tried to reinstall, during the installation I encounter the following error:

    I'm running Windows 7 and haven't had any problems with other programmes that I'm aware of although Windows Update has been a bit dodgy for a while (some updates after downloading claim to be installed yet on restart Windows Update still identifies them as due to be downloaded and this process repeats over and over). I haven't made any hardware changes to my system lately and can't think of any software changes around the time the problems started or at all lately. I'm definitely running with administrator privileges.
    Any suggestions or advice at all would be very gratefully received.

    Hi Steve,
    I can't say I've had the issues myself BUT what I would reccomend is:
    1. Completely remove iTunes from your computer and associated registry entries by using a tool such as CCLeaner
    2. Make sure you are completely up to date on windows redistributable packages and other updates.
    3. Make sure you've selected the appropriate version for your computer i.e. x32 for 32-bit systems and x64 for 64-bit systems.
    4. I've just had a quick Google around and as I said above with the redistributable packages in particular look at Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package ATL Securty Upfate which can be found here:http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=14431
    For removing iTunes completely, it may be helpful to read http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1923

    Start here (change country if necessary) and navigate to 'Password and Security', reset your security questions using the link provided, you will receive an email to your rescue address, use the link in the email and reset your security questions.
    If that doesn't help, you don't receive a reset email or you don't have a rescue address, you should contact AppleCare who will initially try to assist you with a reset email or if unsuccessful will pass you to the security team to reset your security questions for you.
    If you are in a region that doesn't have international telephone support try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support.

    have you tried resettig the network settings? settings, general, reset, reset network settings. warning: you will have to re-enter the any saved wifi passwords.

  • I bought my iphone 4s off craigslist and it's originally a sprint phone. I had it unlocked for tmobile, now i have switched to sprint and I called the customer care line to get it activated but they said they received an error saying not on network

  • Sales order -  automatic creation of purchase order - problem on Credit Che

    We have a problem in sales order.
    For one item, we have an automatic creation of Purchase requisation, but we have to give manually the price in the purchase requisition.
    The problem is when we have give the price, the automatic credit check is executed, and the purchase requisition is not created if we block on this credit check.
    When the credit controller, released the Sales order (VKM1), the purchase is not created automatically because the field for the price in purchase requisition is empty and required.
    And when we come back to the sales order, we need to fill the value and the credit check is running a new time. .....
    and we have a loop.
    I have check in OSS Notes, and I not find a solution.
    How can we solve this problem

    It's impossible to change the price in PO, because the PO is not created.
    The problem is on the creation on the PR in the Sales Order.
    I'm not able to create the Purchase Requisition due to Credit Check, and I'm not able to make an automatic credit check because the value price in the PR is not filled automaticaly, and it's required.
    It's a loop known by SAP, but not solve.
    I hope that someone has found a solution to this strange behaviour.

  • Rework Order Problem

    Hi Experts,
    Please suggest me for the following problem:
    1. I have created Rework order (settlement rule against parent order)
    2. Confirmed the Rework order
    3. GR done for the Parent order (MB31)
    Here the Parent production order quantity is getting reduced. But it should not happen because it is not the actually confirmed.  I am not getting any link between the Rework order confirmation and the GR for the Parent Order.
    Please explain me where i am doing mistake.

    Hi All,
    I have maintained seperate order type for Rework. 
    I have followed the procedure what Mr.Brahmankar mentioned.
    The problem is when i do the GR against the parent order it is reducing the parent order quantity.
    In OPL8, for the rework order type I maintained the following settings:
    1. Planning Tab :  Selection ID 01, routing selection 4, sequence exchange 1, Task   list type S.
    2. Implementation Tab: Documentation of goods movements - All 4 are marked tick.
    When i create the rework order the following error i am getting      "No task list for select.ID 01 for auto. task list selection found"
    Please correct me where i am doing mistake.

    You're using an original iPad? Definitely upgrade to the newest version of iOS. Many apps will require iOS 5.1.1 and it will run fine on your iPad.

    No I didn't even read through your post, to long.
    You said that "No matter what program I try to install, as soon as the installer opens it crashes". Were you talking about the install for this/these 3D programs or ANY program? As it is worded it sounded like ANY program. That tells me there is a problem with your Mac, software or hardware.
    Now you say others install programs, which is it. Programs other then the 3D ones install or no programs install?
    Could simply be your Mac is to old to run these programs and the installer knows that. You never said what model or year Mac it is.
