Monitoring changes of SD IMG activity

Dear All,
Just wanted to know that how we can come to know if any changes done in the values of IMG activity. For example suppose in the sales order type control anybody make changes to no. range assignement & save the request with irrelevent discription then how do we know from which ID the changes are done & when. Another example is suppose the a new table entry is done, change or deleted from IMG then how we can trace it.?
Please answer with all available options for tracking such activity.

For any changes done in the IMG activity you can check the changes through the change logs in the utilities menu and then click on change logs and then enter the from date to end date and then execute ,then the system will execute the number changes done according to that configuration with the comparison of old one and new one with ID who was created.
So according to that date you can track the request and can check in that request for that particular table entries.

    You need to add that attribute using the config tool for your view configuration. Select the attribute All Day from the context node BTDATE in the available fields to your display field and then save it. It should now be visible in your UI and now you can select or uncheck it to make the time field enable. Check the below image

  • Authorization For :Monitoring Changes done by User .

    I am not abe to monitor changes done by user in Delivery as well as billing so kindly suggest.
    For Billing:I went to environment-->Changes:Getting msg:Authorization Object s_scd0_all not assigned.
    For Delivery:Changes field apears Grey Even if changes are done.

    Hi pritesh,
    For this you need to co ordinate with ur Basis Team. First you need assign this Authorization Object with respective Field and Values to ur respective SD Role which is assigned to your User Id by using T.Code PFCG
    To Check Role Go To SU01- User ID Tab Role here u need to check the roles.
    Delivery Changes T.Code: VL22
    Invoice Changes  : Environment - Changes
    Object     Field      Value (interval)

  • 0CML_DELTA : Change pointers are not active

    Hi All,
    I have successfully did the delta init without data transfer for datasource 0CML_DELTA and 0CML_DELTA_CAP. Now, While trying to load delta, I am getting an error "Change pointers are not active" for both the datasource 0CML_DELTA and 0CML_DELTA_CAP.
    The position datasources are fecthing 0 records.
    I have activated the change pointers in BD61, even though I am getting the same error.
    Anyone faced the similar issue or have any clue about the problem.

    I resolved it. I was activating change pointers in BD61. But fot CML we need to activate in SPRO--> SAP Banking --> Loans Management --> Basic settings --> Installation parameters ---> Define general installation parameters.
    Then it will work.

  • Link to IMG activity in documentation

    Hi all,
    within a documentation e.g. for data elements it is possible to create links to different object types (documentation of report, data elements, function modules etc.). It is also possible to define a link to IMG activities or more precisely to Implementation Guide chapters (SIMG).
    Doing this will lead the user to the node within the IMG structure after clicking this link. Usually this works fine. But now in my case I would like to link to IMG activity SIMG_CFMENUOLMEOMF4 to lead the user to the special point Purchasing -> Purchase Order -> Define Screen Layout at Document Level. But unfortunately does the activity also links to the screen layout definition for RFQ/Quotation.
    That means, when the user clicks the link, than the activity for RFQ/Quotation will be displayed. But I want SAP to navigate to the PO tree. The activities have different IDs, but are linked to the same document. I guess, that this is the reason for this behaviour.
    Does anybody know a way to navigate directly to the mentioned activity within the PO tree?
    Any help is very appreciated.

    I don't want to enhance the IMG structure. I just want to insert a link to the IMG node in my documentation.
    Example:
    Transaction SE61 -> Document class = General text -> Name = ZZ_TEST -> Create
    Within the editor choose Insert -> Link -> Document class = Implementation Guide chapter (SIMG) -> Chapter = SIMG_CFMENUOLMEOMF4 -> Name in document = PO screen layout
    Back in the editor choose Document -> Screen output
    When the output appears click the link -> SAP will navigate to the RFQ subtree in customizing, but I need that SAP navigates to the PO subtree.
    Any ideas?

    That is , when ever a new file comes in the directory , i need to copy that file to another directory specified.
    How can i do it ?

    poling seems to come to mind and keep track of what was in the directory the last time. Look at the File object, you'll be using it a lot.

    Does anyone know how can I monitor changes that someone did in classification in tranz' mm02.
    I want to know what was the change, who did the change and when.
    This doesn't show on environment - display changes.

    I also tried to change the classification for one material master via MM02 in my system but i am also not able to see them in CDHDR or in CDPOS tables as well i tried to see it in ESTMJ table but i failed...
    Please let us know if any body knows the answer for this.. I didnt find any SNote for this (as i have searched).
    Or might be you need to Create a SAP note for this.

    It is will be used to copy the basic configuration settings (catalogs, no.ranges etc.,) inorder to carry out the business transactions.
    As mentioned in the help, the following below basis settings will be copied. All these settings will not be available for the new server before the execution of this setting.

    Got an easy one for you guys.
    I'm working with the composer to create a bunch of forms. I've got an options screen and I want to know what's the best way of monitoring changes so the OK and CANCEL buttons work accordingly.

    I don't think there is a "best" way, as usual in such questions...
    The conditions to enable or disable buttons depending on GUI state can be pretty complex. I am a first believer that the GUI should provide hints (like disabling buttons that cannot be used in a given context) rather than "punish" the user by offering all options then telling her she cannot do a given action because some conditions are not fulfilled (like we still see too often in user interfaces, particularly the Web-based ones...).
    But there is no perfect recipe for this, because conditions are varied and can be complex. In general, you have to watch text field input (is it correct, non empty, following the given rules like excluding some chars in a file name, etc.), list selection (at least one selected, no more than n selected, etc.), check box states that can exclude themselves (sometime radio buttons are better in this case), and so on.
    It might be easier to disable all buttons doing an action (load, save, delete, rename, OK, etc.) then to enable them only when the conditions are meet (something in the tree is selected OR something have been typed AND user selected a folder where she has a right, etc.). Such GUI asks for lot of testing, too...

    Can you be more specific on the term 'Configure'.  Change log is automatically generated by SBO.  The only thing you can change is the numbers of Historical instances of the log
    Administration > System Initialization > General Settings.......Services Tab...History or Log Settings.  Be default it is 99 instances.
