Month on, month off crew rotation scheduling

Good morning! I am looking to create a crew rotation schedule that is month on, month off, using Project 2013.
The situation is that we have about 30 people for 2 work sites, each with 5 different roles that need to be filled for the next year.
So, the project lead 1 would work for a period, then a period off, to be replaced by project lead 2, etc. until the end of the project.
I've included an image to give you an idea of what I'm wanting, each color being a different person for that role (excuse my terrible paint skills)
Is this possible in Project 2013?

I would use a different approach. Create your resources and assign them to your activities. For example, set your activity duration to 4 months and assign project lead 1 and 2.
Then split your screen, display the task usage in the lower panel with a monthly timescale and enter manually the work as per the screenshot below:

Thank you, this is getting me in the right direction.
However, this process is exposing my inexperience with Project. Here's the problem I'm running into.
Say I create Task A and assign Team Lead 1, 2, and 3 to it, Project will automatically divvy up the task among them (even if I have Auto schedule turned off and auto-calculate off)
When I try to fix it, (like in your example, you have it set for 20d for PL1 and 20d for PL2), if I match that, it will randomly extend the project or move the dates entirely.
I went into options > schedule and set days to have 24 hours, weeks to have 7 days, and months to have 30 days. Each resource is set to 400% workload with a 24 hour calendar (all of our projects are round the clock, how the work is divvied up is
decided by the crews themselves, we only need to manage the high-level "This person goes here for this amount of time" part of scheduling)
If I'm asking too many questions that are obviously answered somewhere else, could you point me in the direction of the documentation? I'm finding a lot of tutorials online but few seem overly relevant to my specific application. Thanks for the

ICR Process 003 Month-End Cut-off

We have implemented ICR process 003 in the 5.0 system. It seems that "posting period" relates to the period that the document was posted in ICR not necessarily to the customer account. How can we get a good month-end cut-off when new documents are posted all the time. For instance, when we run FBICS3, FBICA3, and FBICR3 after the new period begins, it will pull in documents created in the new period and all still open before in previous periods.

The period and year you enter on the selection screen is combined with the fiscal year variant maintained in your process customizing to derive a key date for open item selection. The open items are then selected in the sender system and stored in the year and period specified on the selection screen in the ICR database. This is also explained in the first message that is displayed in the log of data selection.

Set each day to repeat? Edit the event, and select repeat. You can set a custom repeat, if it's specific days and not specific dates, for instance.

Separate month end cut-off date

You can do so.
You need to define two different posting period variant, where in the first one, for each month define the end date.
SAy if you define month 01 date 28 as period 01 and month 02 date 26 as period 02
Then period 02 will be from 29 jan to 26 feb.
Then assign these posting period variants to your company code in OBY6.
In that way you can differ the period end for two company codes.

Month-to-Month Pricing Question

I'm looking at rolling over into paying month-to-month when my contract is up mid-January - at least as one of my options. I've been trying to price all the options to figure out what would work best, but have been unable to find information about the pricing for month-to-month. I've got three lines on my current family plan - two use voice minutes for the most part, while the third primarily uses text and data, although not heavily (<500 texts and <150 mb data).
Is there a page on VerizonWireless.com that I have missed with this information?
If not (or if you just happen to know off the top of your head), what is the monthly pricing per line for voice, text, and data?

Monthly pricing remains the same as your contract prices . . . you continue to pay the bill as you have been, but now you are no longer "under contract" and can cancel service without an ETF. It will continue indefinitely until you terminate service, or upgrade phones at a discount.

As long as you pay your bill you will have service. The 2yr service contract is simply because you requested a phone at a discount which means you have to keep VZW for 2yrs. Once you complete the 2yr agreement you are no longer under a contractual obligation to keep using VZW. You are month to month for that line and also have the ability to upgrade or utilize the Edge program if your account qualifies. If you do nothing your service will stay active as long as payments are made in a timely manner.

I wrote the following script, but I am unable to validate it. I get the following error message; Error: 1012016 Cannot calculate dimension member [MoM] with restricted member [M01]. When I remove the Year Total from the Fix, then I'm getting another error message.

OK, so in the Period dimension you are FIXing on the level-zero descendants of 'YearTotal' (which does not include MoM) and then attempting to calculate a member in the Period dimension that does not fall within that FIX. As the Error Message Reference says re the code you're getting:
"The calculation script contained a calculation that tried to calculate a member after restricting the calculation to a different member in the same dimension."But regardless of why you're getting this specific error, I can't see how what I think you're trying to do is ever going to work with 'MoM' (your month-on-month movement) in the same dimension as the Periods. Think about what an Essbase retrieve looks like - how would you query 'MoM' for a specific Period? They're both members in the same dimension - any one cell in your retrieve can only relate to either 'MoM' or a specific period.
Generally this type of functionality is achieved with a separate 'Analytic Dimension' that contains the variance members, often dynamically calculated.

Purchasing Adobe CreatePDF on a month-by-month basis

Is it possible to purchase Adobe CreatePDF on a month-by-month basis? in other words, at the end of each month i will decide if i want to continue using it for another month.
to put the quesitons differently can i cancel my subscription at any time?

If I cancel Muse CC month-to-month, does my site stay active even beyond the 180 days?

Hello everyone. I don't do that many sites so I don't require annual subscription just yet. I'm leaning toward the month-to-month but wanted to cancel my subscription once I have the site up and running and my client(s) have signed off on it. I'm wondering if I go beyond the 180 days (which is how long I guess my information is kept in the system) - does my site come down too. I'm guessing that if I'm paying for hosting with Adobe, or have hosted it elsewhere then it would be fine. I'd just have to re-up my membership plan to go in and make any changes; is that correct?

Hello Ben,
You're absolutely correct. If you have the site hosted elsewhere, or if you are paying for hosting the site that you have in Adobe Business Catalyst, then the site will not go down even if you cancel the Muse subscription, and you'll only need Muse again if you wish to make changes to the site from within Muse.

Need to rent photoshop month-to-month for semester abroad

Wow, I have to start off my by saying that this is one of the most confusing, unhelpful commercial websites I've ever had to deal with.
With that off my chest, I'm studying abroad for the following 5 months, and I'm enrolled in a photography class that requires me to have photoshop on my computer. My parents are already spending plenty on other costs for the trip, so it's important that I get the cheapest plan available. My instructor said that I absolutely need to have Photoshop CC, CS5 or CS4 (nothing earlier). I will not need photoshop after these five months.
I've literally spent hours on this website the past two days trying to find a reasonable monthly plan, and tonight I finally found a single month-to-month plan that charges a ridiculous $75/month for creative cloud (for that amount of money might as well purchase photoshop/do the annual plan). I only need photoshop. I can't find a month-to-month plan just for photoshop. And I can't find any kind of plan to buy or rent any versions early than photoshop CC either.
Please help!!!

This is a user forum, you won't find Adobe here, for the most part. So if your complaint is with the difficulty of finding Adobe products, this really isn't the place to vent it. I don't know how you've been unable to find it. Usually most people complain that they're trying to find a standalone version and the website keeps directing them back to the monthly plan. If I simply google "Photoshop" the very first link, at the top of the page in big letters, goes right to the page where you can license Photoshop and Lightroom together for$10 a month. It's called the Photography Bundle, and you get the latest versions of PS and LR, as well as any of the older versions if you want them.

I am trying to count "Number of Completed Line Items in Purchase Order Document" for my Key Figure ZPO_CNT.
Purchase Order document = ZEBELN
Line Item = ZEBELP.
I need to find and count if the Line Item has been received in the past 6 months from today and similarly in the past 12 months.
I have "Delivery Completed" field, ELIKZ.
So, based on this would I be able to calculate it in Query Designer?
If so, Please let me know how

If youe want to calculate the completed line item for last 6 or 12 month then i think u will be displaying the query data for these montrhs...create a customer exit to give you date range and restric it in filter area....
Now Choose any of the below option
1. I would suggest to implement an additional key figure "counter" in cube and fill values with one for which delivery is completed.
Now use calculated key figure in Query Designer based on logic
IF counter = 1 THEN counter ELSE 0
OR
2. create a formula variable based on ELIKZ and use replacement path variable, it will display you no. of docs for which delivery is completed....

Palm Desktop crashes when viewing one month in monthly view

Hi--this is a weird problem. Never seen it before.
--My Treo 680 (Win XP SP3), with Palm Desktop 6.2.2 seems to sync fine. I make changes in the Treo, it appears on the desktop.
--Also, I can view and edit the desktop in DAY view.
I normally default to monthly view though--and when I try to edit anything in a monthly view the Palm Desktop immediately crashes.This also seems to happen only with one month--July--where I recently added a lot of new appointments.
I ran the "check" tool for corrupted records, came up clean.
The data seems to be there and be safe and sync, but every time I try to access this one month from monthly view--it crashes.
Any advice, suggestions?

--I'm reluctant to downgrade versions. I use the same software on my Vista laptop as on my XP desktop and I'd like to confuse the issue or go through degrading both.
The dbfix program was more interesting. It found for Calendar: one appointment in several places that it said "blob goes beyond end of record."
I don't know what that means, but it was particularly odd as this particular appointment was repeated in multiple years as long ago as 1969, it said--which goes beyond the ability of the desktop software even to access; certainly I wasn't using a Palm in 1969, and obviously it didn't exist. So I deleted all of them but for that 1969 one since the desktop will only go back to Jan 1970.
After deleting what I could delete on the desktop, I sync'd.
Didn't help.
I ran the program again and the exact same older--presumbably fictitious-appointments from old years like 2007 were still coming up as checked errors. Hmmm. Apparently deleting them on the desktop helped not at all. So now I deleted one on the 680 as a test.
I sync'd. Immediately crashed the Palm, but when it came came back up. I doublechecekd--that 2007 record was now gone from everything, desktop and PDA. I syncd again,,,went through fine this time.
Ran dbfix again to check--just coming with that one 1969 inexplicable error. Ran Palm Desktop now. Ran the Options/Tools/Check record on the desktop (included utility) just to be sure--no errors.
The final test--running Palm Desktop back in monthly view. Immediately crashed again.
Shrug!
Now, I don't mind buying the dbfix program if that'll do it, but does this seem like something it needs to go through and might actually fix, as opposed to my manually deleting the things?

How to get ONLY month and MONTH within date...

I have to convert something from sql server to oracle.
In SQL Server I have:

I clicked on that, but when I went to open the file and start downloading after about 3 minutes into downloading it says an error had occurred. Can anyone help me?

I am a little worried. If you are an existing subscriber why would Adobe need you to download... I wonder if the message is a fake.
I'm not clear, if you've had it for a year, whether you need to download, or you are just following the email?
