More feed posting problems

I am also getting either error 5002 or just "The iTunes store could not process your request, please try later"
The feed has been validated OK
It is: brandspanking.co.uk/podcasts/parker/parkerpodcast.xml
I have tried on 3 PCs and 2 macs in 2 completely different locations.
I have tried renaming the feed and simplifying the feed address all to no avail. I must have tried more than 150 times since last Friday!
I see from this forum that I'm not the only one having problems. I've submitted feeds before with no problems, so does anyone know how I can get support for this as it's driving me nuts!
P4 3.2 Ghz 2.5Gb RAM etc.   Windows XP Pro

I'm afraid I don't have much to offer to this discussion except that I'm having the same problem submitting a new podcast I recently created for one of my clients. Hopefully, when Apple notices enough threads about this in the forums, they'll let us know whether the problem is on their end or not.
I have set my client up with Reinvented Software's Feeder application to generate the feed and it validates and works fine when I subscribe to it manually.
I notice many of you are trying to submit new podcasts as well; I wonder if that has anything to do with this?

  • Alternative to posting problem reports via OSS?

Sometimes I find problems with SAP software, like the RFC library, that I'd like to be able to report, however I'm not always in a position to do so, as I may not be working at a client site at the time (and it would not be appropriate to log the problem under their installation).
What is needed, IMO, is a way to log these problems without the formality surrounding OSS and SAPnet.  I imagine this would be important too for those coming into SAP for the first time from the Java side.
Perhaps the easiest way would be to mark a forum posting as a problem report, similar to the way it can be marked as a question.  This would then allow for highlighting to forum members from SAP who could decide whether the problem warranted escalation.
    Cheers,
    Scott

    Hi Scott,
i agree. There should be a possibility to create a linkage between OSS notes and SDN postings in some cases, because (besides or in addition what you've already said):
    1. Problems which are reported to OSS might already have been resolved in SDN and vice versa. A common knowledge repository would be very helpful for both parties, i guess. In my opinion it's easier (and cheaper) to <b>verify</b> a possible solution published already in SDN than finding/creating a new one for OSS.
    2. IMHO it's probable that a steadily increasing number of "productive versions users" of arbitrary SAP software components will start to post problems and possible bugs at the SDN forums in the near future. It's absolutely ok to redirect them to the OSS, since this is the official place to report and handle such issues.
But it should be possible for example to add a link referring the "SDN problem thread" to the customer message(s). The support team could then post the SAP notes number as a reply to the thread as soon as a solution is available. Otherwise, if people aren't gentle enough to return to the forums and publish the problem solution, it's not easy to find the official answer, since nobody knows how to search for the corresponding note to get reliable search results. If the problem description of the note doesn't repeat parts of the question text in SDN, you are lost.
    3. Resulting from 2., more and more "information leaks" will arise in the SDN forums. But i dare to argue that people will return asking the same question(s) over and over again, if there's enough interest, until "somebody" is lucky enough to find the solution in the OSS and post the notes number. Why not "automate" this?
    Just to clarify:
I do <b>not</b> want to have the OSS team bypassed, this is definitely wrong from my point of view.
    Cheers,
    Stefan

  • P45 Diamond Post Problem

    Hi,
I'm starting to have another post problem with my P45 Diamond motherboard.  (First one was RMA'd).  This time, it's showing "Processor Initilization" with red, green, green, red.  My current system is
    Motherboard - MSI P45 Diamond
    Bios - 1.3
Processor - Intel Q6600 (older version)
    Memory - Kingston KVR1333D3N9K2/4G 4gb total 1333
Power Supply - Silverstone 750 watt
    Graphics - ATI Radeon HD 3870 X2
It's been working fine for a few weeks and just started acting up.  I'm using stock settings (no overclock) .
Recent changes are adding the Genie, however the post problem happened for the first time before I plugged in the Genie.  The same result now occurs when the Genie is plugged in and when I remove it from the motherboard power.
Basically what happens is it will power up for the first time and it works.  If I restart or shutdown and turn it back on the monitor stays blank and the status lights show Red, Green, Green, Red which is Processor Initilization.  Only way to get it to boot up is hitting the Clear CMOS button or, when I went to bed and started it up this morning, it booted fine.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Quote
The MCH voltage in Core Center we being reported at 1.976 however I NEVER changed any of the values.  Is it possible that the bios "AUTO" changed the value?
The question is this value is really set to 1.976V or if it just a misreport.  Please start Green Power Center and check the voltage values there.
    {Remove Dual Core Center from the AUTOSTART list to make sure it does not open automatically when Windows is loaded.  You can start Green Power Center independently of DCC.  Just have look at the Dual Core Center Installation folder.  There should be a sub-folder that contains the GPC Application.  Create a shortcut to it from the Desktop and you are ready to go.}

  • Do white new iPad's have more light bleed problems?

I have exchanged 3 white 64GB wifi only new iPad's and will be exchanging for my 4th one today. are there more light bleed problems with white iPad's? I don't know how many times i will have to exchange until I get a good one. can someone show me of a white ipad that has no defects what so ever.

I just want to mention that if the DSL light isn't on, it is definitely the phone line, however it is not always the provider's fault. Remember they are responsible for the line from the pole to the house, but not the inside wiring. If your phone line is unplugged from the jack, the DSL light will not be on. To be sure that it is SBC's fault, go and test the connection at the d-marc box outside the house.
Take your laptop, your modem and a phone line and plug it in out there. If you don't get the DSL light, it is definitely their problem. If you do outside, but not in the house, and you call them out, you will get charged for the service call.
Also the built in ethernet cards, more commonly referred to as airport cards, are not really delicate per se, but the wire for the antennae connection is most definitely. Only if you removed yours which you would have to if you wanted to add RAM, would you have any reason to be concerned about possibly damaging it. SBC telephone tech support is always showing off their lack of knowledge.

  • K8N Neo 2 : IDE Long POST Problem NOT Solved !

CHECK LAST UPDATE At The bottom of the topic
I think I've won the battle...
I was having problems on Cold Boot with my IDE optical devices (CDRW (MASTER IDE 2)and DVD-ROM (MASTER IDE 1) looping their initialization procedure).
    Here's what to do :
IN BIOS : Standard CMOS menu ->
Select your first IDE Peripheral (for example DVD-ROM) and in the IDE PRIMARY MASTER field, replace Auto with Manual. Same thing the other devices (for my CDRW : I selected it and in the IDE SECONDARY MASTER field, I set the Manual option).
Boot Winxp and go to the device manager, select the PATA controller and for Primary and Secondary chanel, uncheck "Let BIOS determine transfer mode" And select them yourself (for me it was UDMA 33 for my CDRW and UDMA 66 for my DVD-Rom)
And voilà !!! No more cold boot problems !
This proves that this is a BIOS problem that MSI should solve

    Hi
OK, installed the update, and rebooted.
Went back into devices, and the yellow exclamation mark was still there.
So, I right clicked on it and chose the install driver option.  I chose the default "let windows find it for you" option, and it found and installed the following in the USB devices section:
Standard Enhanced PCI to USB Host Controller
    USB Root Hub
The yellow "Other devices" section was no longer there, and the Unknown device in the USB devices section was gone too.
Great everything looks good, except after about a minute, I got a popup "USB device not recognised" - One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows does not recognise it.  There is a list of 8 devices, with the third one down in the list being "Unknown device".
The only thing I have that is USB in my system is my Microsoft optical mouse, but that works fine.
Also, I rebooted again, and now Windows freezes during loadup (after the loading screen with the blue meter thingie I just get a black screen).  I rebooted again, same thing again.
So now I rebooted and chose the "Last known good configuration" and I am back where I started with the yellow exclamation marks in the device manager.
Am I missing something here, or does this sound like I have a faulty motherboard?
    Thanks

First i would like to say great site and wonderful info provided. my problem has to do with starting up the computer. When turned on the computer doesn't POST and I have to press the reset few times to get to POST. here is how it goes: When turned on "CPU fan makes throaty sound 'too much for just starting up'". then the mouse + keyboard light check, either lights up indicating a POST in progress or they don't during all of that the monitor is still not POSTING.
Out of 10 start ups 9 require pressing the reset button 5-10 times to get it to post. could anyone please give some feedback on this problem. Also if it is not too much does anybody know why a computer with a SATA master HD and a Third primary ATA133 HD won't let me add any more drive and will ask for RAID to be installed? having problems connecting my CDRW ROM with 2 HDs and a DVD drive installed i have to manually open the case and unplug the DVD drive and swap it with the CD writer if i want to burn something on CD. • More Macbook Pro Problems

Hello again. I have another problem with my macbook pro, in addition to the previous one that nobody was able to help me with.
I have gotten to the point where I turn on my mac, go to my main user, and there would only be a blue screen without any icons or my background loading. I have reset in single user mode and tried a few things, and mainly all I can accomplish is getting the log in screen to come up so that I can get to another user. I just logged into another user, and it turns out that my computer is now reading 75 GB of free space. So, if I have done steps 5-8 on this site: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106464, does that mean that not only is my harddrive entirely deletyed, but I cannot get the computer to still work?
I can't believe how unreliable this computer has been. I should not be dealing with this, and yet I am having more trouble with this Mac than any windows computer I have owned. I would like to mention that I have little 3rd party software, adn have no hacks.

Have you taken it in for repair? Perhaps that is what you need to do especially if it's still in warranty. I think this is your best course of action because it's apparent from your post that you don't really know what you are doing as far as "fixing" it is concerned.

  • POST problems with IIS Plugin

I am using the latest version of the IIS plugin for Weblogic (build: Apr 14 2002
    17:53:13)
It seems that the ISAPI Filter (iisforward.dll) does not forward all http POSTs
    - however it does seem to work fine for http GET's.
We have configured the plugin (you will see the attached debug dump) to forward
all calls on "/weblogic". If we perform http GET's on such a URL (using IE) everything
works fine - and the call is routed to Weblogic.
When we make a SOAP call using our C++ client, (a http POST) through the IIS plugin
we get a 405 error. If we artificially add the ".wlforward" extension on the context
URL (in our C++ client ) then it is forwarded correctly to weblogic by the Application
Extension (iisproxy.dll) - so the problem lies with the ISAPI filter. Also, if
we remove the ISAPI filter from IIS, we get the same 405 error - which confirms
that the ISAPI filter is not catching the POST's.
More puzzling, however, is that the SOAP requests from our Java SOAP client (using
    WLS SOAP) works fine.
The problem must have something to do with the difference in structure of the
    POSTS.
Normally, I would attach the logs/config in a zip file - but that seems broken
at the moment. Instead they are all pasted in below.....

    Thanks.
Sadly, my IIS configuration is correct. The plugin seems to work fine if Ijust
use my browser (http GET) for either forward-by-extension (*.jsp) orforward-by-path
    (/weblogic/*).
However, there seems to be a problem when I use SOAP (http POST). For somereason,
when I use my C++ SOAP client (using WASP), then the ISAPI filter (the onethat
generates the .wlforward on the URL) doesnt modify the URL - hence the403...
If I use my java client.... everything is fine. Comparing the two httppackets,
I dont see anything obviously wrong - but something is making the WLSplugin choke.

Did you add the .jsp AND the .wlforward in the path redirection under

    WLS SOAP) works fine.
The problem must have something to do with the difference in structureof
    the
    POSTS.
Normally, I would attach the logs/config in a zip file - but that seemsbroken
at the moment. Instead they are all pasted in below.....

  • Investment order settled more than posted on current month.

    Dear All,
I have found a stange thing that I can't explain it.
Every month end, we will settle the investment orders to AuC accounts by KO8G. At the end of Jan, I settled all of them, but I found one investment order has settled more amount than posted on Jan.
By line item display, for example, I can see the account for Inv order has 4 postings, totally $67000.00. But after KO8G, there is $90000.00 settled to the AuC account.
No error message in test run and actual post in KO8G. Settlement rule is 100% to AuC.
I am really confused about the amount settled.
Please kindly throw some light on this. Thank you.
    Emma

    Hi,
The settlement was done monthly. There would be no un-settled amount. But that's a good tracker for the similar problem.
For my problem, I checked the Line Item one by one in KOB5. And I found 2 docs have the wrong expense account posted by the Inv order. So that's why the amount 23000 is calculated in settlement but not no shown in the right expense account by GL line item display.
I have done a posting to transfer the amount to right expense account.
    Thank you.

  • Poor cell service on Staten Island (NY). Posted problem 9 months ago. No help from Verizon.

    Dear Verizon Wireless -
I have been working on the campus of the College of Staten Island for approximately 1 year and the Verizon signal/reception here is horrendous to non-existant. Many of my co-workers - especially women concerned with safety - have switched to ATT or are considering doing so.
Here's some description of how bad the reception is:
When I need to be on a telelconference using my cell, I have walked all over campus staring at my bars to get some decent signal. Even then, there are times when moving even as little as a foot results in a dropped call. When I try to use my cell in our workspace, I will place it at the window (there are no tall buildings nearby) and use a headset, which works ok but not great. If I get a call, I grab the phone and run to 1 of 3 spots in our building where I seem to get a decent signal; one of those places is outside at a particular section of wall. As you can see, this is a very touchy situation where every little movement can result in a dropped call. I'd say about half of my calls are dropped.
Here's some of my attempts to resolve this problem:
    1) reprogramming my phone by dialing *228 (anytime I do this, I go through both option 1 and 2.
    2) removing my battery for a few minutes, reinstalling, and restarting
    3) searching for updates to my phone (none exist)
    4) scanning the web in general and your website in particular for discussions of this topic. I did find that several areas on Staten Island have very poor Verizon reception.
Looking at my settings menu, there seem to be some things I can change, but I have no idea what the options are so I've done nothing so I don't make the situation worse.
    My phone:
    Samsung SCH-U365
Thank you for any help. I really prefer not to switch carriers.

Look lets put it this way. You have spotty or no coverage on campus period.
However I am not Verizon Tech Support. call 1-800-922-0204 and speak to them to open up a trouble ticket.
You posting it here is getting you no where. I would have called if you are speaking the truth a year ago.
Not all carriers have coverage every where. It is not guaranteed nor should it be expected.
Years ago when our offices moved from a high rise building 20 stories high where the service was excellent, we got moved to a core building and service was terrible. This went on for years.
Finally today Verizon has high 4G LTE in this same area. It just took time. And of course we moved again and was away for years
That is just the way it is.
Complaining here or getting angry here is a waste of time.
Call up and report the issue get the incident number and have them get updates to you.
    Or simply change carriers.
    Choices and more choices....

I inserted some RSS feeds on my google site and the posts do not appear completely, the words are cut on the right margin. The posts appear completely with the IE browser.

Can you post a link to a publicly accessible page (i.e. no authentication or signing on required)?
Is that text supposed to wrap or is something else wrong like a larger font?
    Can you attach a screenshot?
