Movement type 544 comes in excise reconcilation

Hi,
At the time of reconcilation in T code J1IFQ, movement type 544 comes into reconcilation, however movement type 544 in group 0001 with movement type 541.
Regards,
Dinesh

Hi,
In case if document is cancelled after reconcilation or you make the return delivery to vendor. At that time movement type 544 comes & you need to create the challan for 544 movement type.
That case is ok, I am facing the problems in subsequent adjustment document where same material docuemnt having the under & Over consumption. 543 & 544 movement type both.
same thing I am facing in physical inventory documents when 701 & 702 movements both occur.
If single movement type in material document then no issue.
Regards,
Dinesh

  • Business area not appearing in GR of Subcontracting (Movement type 543)

    Dear Gurus
We have created new plant B  (and assigend to Company code B) by copying existing plant A (assigned to Company code A).  Business area B was defined and assigned to plant B and valuation area. When we do normal GR document business area appears in material document but when we are  doing GR for sub contracting (posting key 81) with movement type 543 Business area doesnt appear in the material doc .
In cancellation of Subcontracting material document for plant B (Movement type 544) Business area appears properly .  We are unable to analyse the issue. Request your help.
    Appreciate your early response
    Regards
    Arunjit C

    Hi,
I assume you know the GL account that should be posted when doing the GR for subcontrating with movement type 543. Try SA38 report RM07CUFA which compares the movement type field status and the GL account field status.
Maybe business area is suppressed in one of the field status and cannot be posted to?

  • Mov Typ

    Dear Friends,
How does Mov Typ comes automatically in the Sales Order & which movement type is used in 3rd Party Sales Order?
    Thank you.

    Dear sir.
Movement type will come in sales order with the help of item category and for that item category which schedule line category assigned.
please go through the SPRO setting.
    SPRO-IMg-Sales and Distribution-Sales-Sales Documents-Schedule Lines-Define Schedule Line Categories.
here schedule line category can be created.in that schedule line category movement type assigned.
    SPRO-IMg-Sales and Distribution-Sales-Sales Documents-Schedule Lines-Assign Schedule Line Categories.(VOV6)
here for your item category you assign schedule line category .
while creating the SO with the help of item category and schedule line category movement type will come.
in Std  third party the item category is TAS and schedule line category assigned CS.
please check  Schedule line category CS, there no movement type assigned.
because for third party when you do GRN with respective PO the material will go the custome.

  • Movement type in delivery

    hi,
We all know that Movement Type in Dlivery document is through Sceduline category of Sales order.
but how about the Outbound Delivery movement type 643 comes in for Stock transport order. We have UB PO created, which follows outbound delivery created using VL10G and mvt type come is 643. Where does this come from.

    Dear Mahesh,
    In IMG under
Materials Management -> Inventory Management and Physical Inventory -> Movement Types -> Copy, Change Movement Types

Building Block on Cross Company Sales order processing:
    http://help.sap.com/bp_bblibrary/500/html/J62_CCSOP_EN_DE.htm
A customer places an order which cannot be filled by the vendor. The vendor therefore sends the goods to the customer from a plant belonging to another company code.
Sales order is created by sales organization BP01 in company code BP01. The goods are not available in a plant belonging company code BP01 and must be shipped from a plant belonging to a different company code, BP0X.
Customer invoice is issued by the sales organization BP01 in company code BP01, while the distribution plant belonging to company code BP0X uses inter-company billing with the sales organization BP01.
Delivering plant belongs to a different company code
Direct delivery from delivering plant to customer
Customer invoice and inter-company billing document
    Internal transfer prices
    Stock Transfer Order:
Whenever you need to transfer the materials from one plant to another plant belonging to one company or belonging to two company code stock transfer order is raised by the delivering company.
Transfer of goods from one location to another location,it may be between plants within the same company code or in different company code's plants.
within the company code, bet plants, receiving plant will raise the STO in Supplying/issuing plant-ME21n,
Supplying plant will deliver the goods to receiving plants , then we need to pick n post the Goods Issue-VL02n, nw when we can observe that the STO qty will be added into receiving plant and reduced in Delievering plant.
To do this, we need do prior customizatin in SPRO-IMG,-material should be created in both plants( receiving & Supplying)
-maintaing the stock only in supplying plant
-create a dummy customer in supplying plant's sales area(if u have one sales area, create in tat comp code n sales area)
-Assign this customer number to receiving plant's details along with the sales area,
-Assign the STO doc type(UB) to Supplying plant, along with checking rule
-Assign the Del type (NL/NLCC) to Supplying n receiving plant.
You create a STO from MM route i.e., ME21N and then enter the details of the supplying, receiving plant and the materials.Once you complete the STO,then it goes for a delivery followed by an intercompany invoice.
Remember that the Material should be there in BOTH supplying and receving plant.
Internal Procurement (Stock Transfer With Delivery):
In a company, goods movements do not only occur in the form of goods receipts and goods issues. Depending on the organization of the company (for example, decentralized storage) and its sales policy, internal stock transfers might also be necessary.
The stock transfer with delivery is a plant to plant scenario. You are posting a goods issue in plant BP02 and a goods receipt in plant BP01.
This type of stock transfer can only be carried out from unrestricted-use stock of the issuing plant to unrestricted-use stock of the receiving plant.
You post the placement into storage at the receiving plant in a second step. Only then is the event completed and the transferred quantity part of unrestricted-use stock.
    Functions:
    Creating a Planned Independent Requirement
Creating a stock transport order in plant BP01
Generating a delivery in plant BP02
Picking of the material and posting the goods issue in the delivering plant
Posting the goods receipt in the receiving plant
Note: The quantity posted from stock is first of all managed as stock in transit of the receiving plant. Only once the goods receipt has been posted is the quantity posted to the unrestricted-use stock of the receiving plant. This enables the quantity "on the road" to be monitored.
The transfer posting is valuated at the valuation price of the material in the issuing plant.
Delivery costs can be entered in the stock transport order.
Internal Procurement (Stock Transfer without Delivery):
The cross-plant, internal procurement of materials can be carried out within one company code (intercompany) or by using several company codes (cross company). This process can be dealt with using standard functions such as material requirements planning, purchase requisition, stock transport order, transportation planning and the handling of internal deliveries.
The following functions are provided to support the Internal Stock Transfer without Delivery:
    Create Stock Transport Order
Post goods issue for stock transport order
Post goods receipt for stock transport order
Note: Quantity "on the road" can be monitored
Delivery costs can be entered in the stock transport order
    Internal Procurement (Cross-Company Stock Transfer):
You post a stock transfer from company code to company code the same way as you post a stock transfer from plant to plant, except that both plants belong to different company codes.
During the stock transfer, two accounting documents are created in addition to the material document:
-An accounting document for the removal from storage at the issuing company code
-An accounting document for the placement into storage at the receiving company code
The stock posting is offset against a company code clearing account.
To display the value of the cross-company-code stock in transit with a report, choose Environment à Stock à Stock in transit Cc.
The following functions are provided to support the cross company stock transfer:
    Create sales order to customer
    Run single-level MRP
    Creating a purchase order
    Creating delivery
    Picking and post goods issue
    Posting goods receipt
    Create inter-company billing document
    Invoice receipt
Create delivery, picking and post goods issue to customer
    Billing
Notes: The issuing plant enters a delivery for the stock transport order and a billing document. This is an inter-company billing document (billing type YBIV). Pricing takes place as normal.
When the goods arrive, the receiving plant posts a goods receipt for the purchase order. The unrestricted-use stock increases and an accounting document is created.
The invoice is checked with reference to the purchase order.
Stock transport order processing in receiving plant
Delivery processing in supplying plant Picking batch determination in delivery Goods issue processing in the supplying plant Billing processing in supplying plant
Goods receipt processing in receiving plant Invoice verification processing in receiving plant Purchase order monitor processing in receiving plant

  • Where do we assigned  movement types to schedule lines

    hi genius
where do we assigned with this movement types system should pick this movement types.  can we create our own movement types in sap
can we use one movement types both transactions.
how system will knows this movement types should come  with schedule line how it will come we knows generally schedule line it will come is thery any assignement between them
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Nag,
You can configure the movement typ efor the schedule line in the tcode VOV6.
But, if you want to create a new movement type, it is always in the domain of MM and hence it is better for you to consult with them and ask them to create the movement type.
Once it is created, you can just assign that to the schedule line in tcode VOV6
    Hope this helps.

  • Excise Invoice for ther movement type

    Dear ALL SAP Gurus,
In 100% EOU plant when we purchase materials against CT3 there is no excise duties on purchase. But when we purchase material without CT3 there are excise duties which will get add into material cost.
When same material I transfered to other plant , may I have to make excise invoice( J1IS and J1IV). Client does not have any cenvatable facility.
Also when I return this material to vendor whether J1IS and J1IV has be necessory.
    Please explain this scenarios.
    Thanks in advance
    Mahesh

    Hi,
PLz maintian the excise data for that mterial in ithe Excise master data J1ID.
1.For no excise dute just select as No excise duty at the time of MIGO from Excise invoice tab on the top.
2.For Excise duty select as exise duty during MIGO.
3.For STOS maintain as assessable value in the J1ID master data for that material in the supplying plant, the excise calculated Through J1IS as per assessable value u maintained in the master data.
4.For vendor returns, reverse the FI documents manually for MIRO, then cancel the material doc after u post the Excise invoice , then agian u cancel the Excise invoice so that excise registers can be reversed. Then u do the vendor returns through MOGO and 122 Mov type.
    Plz check and clear.
    Regards,
    Andra.

    3. Releasing to accounting/ Posting the excise invoice in J1IV.
    4. Extracting the Register RG23A PART 2 using J2I5

    Dear All,

Is this the standard working or am i missing out anything
    Regards

Thanks  a lot for the reply .I have two queries here

  • Stock Transfer for Excisable Materials Using Movement Type 301

    Hi,
We are having a Plant 1002 as excisable Materials.
During GR we following the process like GR (Part -I), Capture Invoice, Post Invoice.
Can we transfer the Material from Plant 1002 to other Plant, say 1001, using Movement Type 301?
Or we need to follow some other router for Stock Transfer for the Excisable Materials?
I was told by the ex-consultant that we would be using Mov Type 301 for all Stock Transfers, but I have a doubt, please guide.*
    Regards,

    Hi PK,
Here in Brazil we work with excisable material and when we have to transfer it plant to plant, we have to use IVA that performs tax posts on accounting document. Also, we have to create Nota Fiscal (BrazillianLegal Document).
I think you have to talk to your legal/accounting area in order to make sure which procedure you will have to use.
If you need tax posting on accounting document, then you will not be able to use 301 movement type.
We use MM/SD Plant to Plant transfer (movement type 861 / 862)
Depending on your Legal/accounting area feed back, you could use this scenario or just MM plant to plant transfer (movement type 303/305).
If they are ok with no tax postings on accounting document, then 301 movement type should be used.
Try to make a test, show then how it works, then you could get ok from then
    I hope it helps you.
    Best Regards,
    Natan

  • Configuration: Which Movement Types Involve Excise Invoices

    Hi,
Please suggest what movement types are required to be entered in this IMG activity and against which register?
Is this settings required for only capturing incoming excise invoices from outside vendors and STO’s?
    regards

    dear mr verma
mvt type 101, 103, 105, represents inward movements of materials and you have to maintain them as they are relevant for excise.
601 & 122 represents outward movements of materials from factory and you have to maintain them as they are relevant for excise.
You have to enter these movement types too. If you don't enter now, you will have to enter it later when some problem arises.

  • List of all Excise Relevant Movement Types

Which All Movement Types need to be made Excise Relevant covering all Scenarios falling under CIN?
Can anyone provide list of all possible movement types need to be made Excise Relevant?

Just keep it in mind ,  When ever a stock which is excisable enters a Plant or leaves a plant  excise need to get captured and Post.
So all movement types which allows the stock move in and out of the plant Excise has its impact. All internal movement like 201,262 etc wont have any impact on the excise.
This is the simple logic .

  • Excise configuration:Movement type

    Dear All,
What is the significance of the configuration "Specify which movement type involves excise invoice in CIN configuration".What are the areas where this configuration works.
    Please provide your valuatble inputs.
    Regards,

    Hi ,
The goods movement will be registed in the excise register via 2 routes
    1) movement type attachment to the type of register
    2) material chapter ID combination(J1ID)
In the movement type setting u can say to the system which registers need to be updated during the goods movemnt
    for eg-during 101 RG23A,RG23C should be updated
during 601 RG1 should be updated
during 351 RG1 should be updated etc
