MSI GT683 Problem Installing Graphic Drivers

Hi to all, I need help about my laptop MSI GT683...I have bought a graphic card because my is broken, that is Nvidia GTX560M but I have a problem: when I install Windows and I try to install the driver the screen became multicolor and I can't do anything else. I seen that when the site of the nvidia auto reconizes the graphic card the model showned is Nvidia GTX560 SE...Another problem is that in the bios the model of the notebook is GT680R and I don't know why...can you help me?

What means "multicolor"? Do you have any picture of this symptom you described?
The model name in the BIOS depends on the graphic card you installed. Some models re-use the same barebone of the older models and their difference is only the graphic card, so MSI may only provide one version of BIOS but will automatically detect the graphic card to change the model name in the BIOS.
I'm not sure what's the problem you are facing but you can ask for help and contact local authorized service points.

  • Boot camp in Windows 7 doesn't install graphics drivers

I installed Windows 7 through Boot Camp today on my MacBook Pro, which I have hooked up to an Apple Cinema display due to screen issues. I put in my Mac install DVD and installed Boot Camp. However, it appears that my graphics drivers have not installed, because the display is squashed, and when I turn the resolution up, my Apple Cinema display turns off. I have done this before, and had this problem, but I don't know how I fixed it (i'm going to record what my solution was this time, just in case). It's an early 2007 MacBook Pro, with an ATI Mobility Radeon X1600. I think other people have had similar problems, but the answers to those don't help, and I haven't found a question for my specific graphics card. Help is much needed! Thank you.

Apple employees do read these posts right? Why are you guys so afraid to let graphics switching be available on Windows? Why do you guys cripple Windows and say that is isnt Apples fault for not delivering optimized drivers to get the same experience you do on Mac OS? For all the money that we put out we should have the right to use all the available hardware on any os.

  • Problems with graphics drivers

Hello, I tried to install new drivers to my Ati 6770m (2gb) and there is a problem with almost every driver. For example the newest ati catalyst 14.5 beta.  When the driver is installed, I can't switch to the resolution higher than 1024x768. Ati catalyst control centre is not installed or I there is an error message saying, that the driver is not installed correctly so the control centre can't open. Sometimes the system crashes to the blue screen and I have to reboot. I see this problem with various drivers. The only driver, that is working for me is Ati Catalyst 13.10 mobility beta. And with this driver there's a lot of graphic problems with GTA V. I see squares on all objects in distance when dx11 and AA is turned on. It is unplayable with this driver. Please help.

    Hey @Tommy2220 ,
Thanks for the additional information. If you uninstall all that you have in the graphic drivers section of the Device manager, including the drivers that are present. Restart the Notebook, and download from here. You will only need AMD/Intel Switchable High-Definition (HD) Graphics Driver, it includes everything you will need.
You can also find them , here is a link to the HP Support Assistant if you need it. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system.
    Hope this helps you out.
    Thanks.

  • Problems installing audio drivers

    Hi,
I have a x61 notebook, and after reinstalling Win XP (pro, SP3) I can't get the audio to work. I have tried to install the drivers from Lenovos web site (7ka113ww.exe) but get an error message saying: "The HDA Audio bus driver is required and not found".
In device manager I have two uninstalled devices, one PCI Device and on Unknown device. Where can I download the HDA Audio bus driver?
Some threads (e.g.http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=195883) says that I shall install Universal Audio Architecture (UAA) High Definition Audio class driver (Q888111) for Windows XP, but I only find this for SP 1 or 2, not for SP3 as I have. If I try to install the one for SP2, I get another error message saying "the service pack version is newer then the update you are applying". Anyone know where I can find the correct drivers?
Edit: I sent an email to Microsoft to obtain the 888111 hotfix, but got a response back saying that this hotfix is included in Windows XP SP3, so I should already have it on my machine.
    Thanks, TJ

You'd likely have to install the UAA driver before you but on SP3.
If it's already included in SP3 then find the .inf file, or whatever file, name and point the unknown device in the device manager to that.
But yes... it seems as if there are problems with high-definition audio and SP3; maybe try this:

  • Problems installing amd drivers on HP Dv7 for windows 10

I have the HP DV7 4263cl with switchable graphics AMD chipset M880G with both Mobility Radeon HD 4250  and AMD 6370m. My processor is the AMD Phenom II.  The drivers on HP's support site for my laptop are very old (2010) and work fine in Windows 7. However when I try to install the drivers in compatability mode on in Windows 8.1 or 10 or manually install them through the device manager, my computer does not respond well and doesnt install everything fully and either shuts down or shows a blue error screen.
I have tried everything and haven't had any luck getting these installed.  Please Help!!!!

Yours is the third post I've seen about switchable graphics not working in Windows 10. Sadly, you may have to simply hope for a Windows 10 driver update. Have you checked for a Chipset or BIOS/UEFI update? Maybe you would have better luck on the AMD forum.   If you found my answer helpful please say thanks by clicking on the Thumb's Up icon. Thanks!

  • MSI NX6600 Problem installing

Sorry if this has come up before, but I couldn't find anything in the forums..
Just before Xmas I bought a NX6600 card and couldn't install it, so I returned the card and my computer to the shop I bought the card from and they (for $50) got it going.
All was great, but last week I had to re format my drive and re install XP (which I've done a number of times,  with no problems with my FX5200 card). Windows installed OK, but the 6600 driver would not install, I get the Windows stuff up ok but everything is soooo slow. When I put in the MSI driver disk it starts ok but when I click on "nVidia VGA drivers" nothing happens. I tried exploring the disk and loading the drivers manually to no avail. So I've got the FX5200 in my computer at the moment. I don't really want to spend another $50 to get the shop to fix it, it must be something simple i'm stuffing up.

    Hi,
I wouldn't use the MSI driver.  Use Add/Remove to remove your current Nvidia driver.  Use Driver Cleaner (drivercleaner.com- instructions are in a readme ) to clean out all traces of the nvidia VGA driver then reboot.  DL the latest nvidia driver from nvidia.com.  Also, make sure your chipset drivers are installed.

  • Access denied error while trying to install graphics drivers

    Hello,
I have a new toshiba laptop P70-A. I have installed windows 7 and the pc was working excellent up until now. Noticed yesterday that the nvidia automated system failed to install the new update. When I tried to install the new driver manually, even from the
device manager, I got the access denied message.
A day now wasted reading all the possible causes and solutions but with no luck. Read all the forums and all the posts, tried almost everything. Below youll find everything I tried as a solution and failed.
    1.Disabled UAC
2.Enabled the administrator account and trying to take control from there
3.Run the subinacl and the reset.cmd
4.Tried manually to take control the folder windows (and access denied while changing the rights)
    5. Scanned the system with everything there is available ( Kaspersky, MalwareBytes, RegCurePro, Tuneup Utilities, CCleaner) The system came out clean.
    6. Tried restoring the system to an earlier time (got again access denied error code 0x80070005)
    7. Checked all the group policies (all seem to be fine)

    Hello,
Thanks for the replies, i much appreciate it. I tried all of the above with no luck again. Safe mode allows me though to install drivers but thats reverting the moment im entering windows. Im always running commands and programs as a administrator or in
    the Admin enabled account.
It seems the problem is solved today. Via tune up utilities I disabled most of the startup programs and services and it seems that 1 service is causing this issue. Although I havent played much with the disabled services but 3 remain to be checked. One of
    the three is causing this.
Thanks again guys and Ill keep you posted about the soft. conflict.

  • H55m-E23 bsod after installing graphics drivers

    Hi,
Was wondering if anyone else had had a similar problem. Just built a system with a h55m-e23 mobo, i3-540 cpu and 4gb value ram. System works fine, will run for hours no problem, until i install the gfx driver for the onboard gfx. I have tried a pci-e card as well, same problem. As soon as drivers are installed bsod on next restart. I have tried win 7 32 and 64 bit, with all updates and without, with 1 stick of ram and 2 etc. have ran memtest it says all fine. Once it bsod, all i can do is go into safe mode. If i remove hd driver then it works fine, but obviously this isnt a suitable solution. psu is new, 450w, should be enough for mobo, cpu 1hdd and 1 dvd i would hope. Have tried drivers from disk that came with it, from windows update etc, exactly the same problem.
    thanks in advance.

  • Problems installing Labview Drivers

Im trying to use Labview to control a AVR EBF6 B Avtech pulser and a Tektronix TDS 744A scope.
I have a Keithly KPCI 488A GPIB card in a PC running XP.
I downloaded the NI-488.2 2.7 driver from the National Instruments website but am having problems getting NI's Measurement and Automation Explorer to configure the GPIB devices.
The card doesn't show up at all.
It's not a hardware problem i don't think as i have another setup which uses the Keithly GPIB driver which came with the card and this communicates fine with the same pulser and scope.
Am i missing any driver? Or have i installed a wrong one?
