such, solutions vary. Per our experience, the most common causes
are:
- Corrupted Flash player.
- Spyware/Adware programs installed on your computer.

behavior especially if the file is being used by an application
that is open.
III. Empty your recycle bin folder.
a. Right-click the Recycle Bin icon on the desktop.
b. Click "Empty Recycle Bin".
c. Click "Yes" if you are prompted to confirm that you want

Can't get past OCX error when installing ODAC 11g on Windows Server 2003
I have been trying to install ODAC 11g on Windows Server 2003 and can't get past the OCX error when registering oravsdbgeng11w.dll. I've read every message on this forum even remotely related to this problem and tried every solution offered. I have done a clean install into a new Oracle home, and made sure Instant Client is always included. All service packs and automatic updates have been installed. For what it's worth I have successfully installed ODAC 11g on Windows XP Pro.
If anyone out there has been able to get this up and running and would care to share the wisdom that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!
Michael Young
Latitude Geographics
Victoria, BCMichael, as you already noticed, every time I have seen this issue it has been because ODT was being installed into an Oracle home where no client exists, or perhaps installed into an old oracle home where the client was an old version (eg Oracle10), or the client was broken. Usually though, the user unchecked the instant client checkbox during the ODAC install.
So you say you checked instant client and you still got the error? That doesn't add up...
Are you using 32-bit windows? If you are using 64 bit windows be sure to tell us.
Why don't you try avoiding using instant client at all, in case it is somehow not getting installed properly.
You can do this as follows:
1) Under the download links on OTN, go to the database download page.
2) Download the Oracle Database client 11g for Microsoft Windows
3) Run this installer and Install ODP.NET 1.x and 2.x into a new Oracle home from this client install, but nothing else. If ODP.NET is not listed there (it has been a long time since I looked at that) than just install a minimal Oracle client install.
4) Close the installer
5) Go back and install ODAC and this time choose "Oracle Server" radio button during the install (rather than the client install)
6) Install ODT and ODP.NET at least and be sure they are being installed into the Oracle home created in the first steps above.
This will avoid use of Instant Client and will hopefully avoid the OCX error. Let me know if this solves your problem.

Adobe Flash 10c.ocx error message?
Well, my sister and I are REALLY getting angry at whatEVER this flash thing is. I run my business on the road -am gone a LOT. Tonight when I got home, I had a very important eMail letter to send. Three other windows were open -NOTHING PERTAINING TO ADOBE!!! All of a sudden, it wiped ALL of them out, shut them down and left me with this little number above, "Adobe Flash 10c.ocx" error message, to which crap vista windows informed me, "Internet Explorer has encourntered a problem with an add-on and needs to close." No warning ... just the whole letter and ALL the other pages, GONE!
If I want to do something with Adobe, I'll do it, otherwise I expect it to sit quietly in the background and keep quiet! I have enough problems with this vista "system" -WORST ever invented. Just what vista needed, something else so it can cause more headaches!
I found this forum, and I HOPE this will be fixed VERY shortly. Thanks for letting me say.
Thank God I have almost total recall when such a thing happens, but I really do not appreciate it happening in the middle of a message so important!1. Download & use the flash Uninstaller from here: it
http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?ext...
2. Reboot to clear out any left over ocx files.
3. Rescan using Secunia PSI - if there are any insecure Flash elements left what is the path to them? U should not proceed to stage 4 until all U clear any problems found.(The overview page may look a little odd because it uses Flash for the pictorials) you can download it from www.secunia.com it's a easy tool to use just follow the commands
4. Reinstall the latest Internet Explorer Flash Player from here: ( make sure you copy the link below and open internet explorer and paste it into the address bar and press enter then download the file and it should install fine.)
http://www.filehippo.com/download_flashplayer_ie/
3A.If U are also using Firefox, Opera and other Gecko-based browsers U need this link as well: ( If you are using this browser just follow the same commands as above just copy the link below and paste it into the address bar and press enter then download the file and it shold install fine)
http://www.filehippo.com/download_flashplayer_fire...
5. Go to add/remove & double check Adobe have not installed the useless Adobe Download Manager - if U see an entry remove it.
Hope it helps for you i had the same problems took me days to work out what was wrong, let me know if it fix it. Melissa -
OCX error during install of 8i personal ed on win 98 OS
I continue to get an OCX error during the installation of the personal edition that was downloaded from the site. I read some workarounds like the following:
1. Obtain patch 1507768 from Oracle Support Services via Metalink.
See Patch readme for patch installation details. [I can't get the patch because I am using the free download version]
2.
a) Copy the content of the Installation to a temporary folder on the harddisk,
rename ALL copies of file 'symcjit.dll'
b) Go to folder \install and edit file 'oraparam.ini' (attention: write
protection) and change parameter JRE_MEMORY_OPTIONS to
JRE_MEMORY_OPTIONS=-nojit -ms16m -mx32m
c) Start the installation again
[I made the suggested changes to the above files and that didn't work. Any ideas of what I should do?]I've made a little progress ... after downloading and unzipping the 8i files, right click on the setup program's icon, select properties, then select the compatibility tab, and choose Windows98/ME. Then, go to http://jcay.com/symcjit.zip and download this later version of symcjit.dll and replace the existing symcjit.dll. After these steps, the setup program started and I got about halfway through the installation when I got "Warning: JIT compiler "symcjit" not found. WIll use interpreter."
I have no idea what to try next?????? -
Flash9d.ocx Error crashing IE 7
Hi,
I am a developer and the site I work on is causing
Flash9d.ocx errors sometimes randomly after clicking or if I leave
it running overnight will always cause it. It sounds like a memory
leak - I was wondering is there anything I can do to my code to
prevent this from happening i.e. developing it in AS3 instead of
AS2 - or does it not matter this bug will happen no matter what.
I have unistalled flash using provided unistaller and
installed newest player but it is still happening - as the site is
a very popular commericial site and we are inidated with customers
with their browser crashing and it is starting to reflect really
bad on us.
I really need a solution apart from unistall and reinstall -
I have a top spec quad core machine and only ever open one tab at a
time - but it is ridiculous to tell our customers to do this.
PLEASE CAN SOMEONE OFFER SOME DECENT ADVICE!!!!!Please open a support case (
http://www.adobe.com/support/flash)
and ask to be escalated. -
Flash10p.ocx Error on IE7
Recently did the update to Flashplayer 10.2.1. Running IE7 [for business software compatibility]. Now every time I run the Flash Player, on exit I get the Flash10p.ocx error.
Fix???
Thanks
Steve AikensHi, Well I was glad to see that answered thread Thanks for marking it.
Yes, sometimes an old file doesn't get removed for some reason or the other. You may want to just take a look the next time FP updates. That happens to me almost everytime, but I check my System32 and just delete it. For me, it's just a glitch in my old XP Desktop:-)
You shouldn't have any more of those issues.

Hi All,
I am running a particualr application in Labview by calling a DLL from VB++. If I am running the same application in pure VB++ I am getting an OCX error. Can any body suggest any solution in this case.
Manish karnik
Application Engineer
Cruiser Controls.
MumbaiManish,
Could you please provide a few more details regarding your problem. First, I am unfamiliar with VB++. Are you using VC++, VB 6, or VB .NET? Perhaps, I am just unfamiliar with the language that you are using. Second, do you have a problem when you try to call the DLL from LabVIEW, or are you just having a problem when calling the DLL from your VB++? If it is working correctly in LabVIEW, but not from VB, then you may have better luck posting on a general VB forum or their may be a forum regarding your specific application. Normally, problems with DLL are related to type libraries not getting loaded properly because of missing dependency files. You may try checking out programs such as Dependency Walker to check your DLL and ensure that all support DLLs exist on your system.
Thanks,

OCX Error after 256MB of FLV have loaded
I've noticed that whenever a progressive FLV over 256MB in
size is loaded into the FLVPlayback component I get an OCX error in
IE and FF on Windows (although FF doesn't specifically say 'OCX
Error'). This seems to happen right around the point where 256MB
have loaded and does not occur on the Mac at all so I suspect it's
related to ActiveX in particular. This is extremely dismal for the
project I'm working on and does not occur when using the MX FLV
components.
Any help would be appreciated...Check your system tablespace or your portal30 default tablespace. You may have run out of space at that particular point in the install. I have had a similar problem where the install says 100% complete but it really did not run to completion due to running out of space in my system tablespace. You should have approximately 2300+ objects in Portal30 schema after a successfull install.
Good luck!

OCX errors went installing Oracle 8i personal edition
I downloaded the zip for 8i personal edition. When trying to install it I repeatedly got errors that the OCX could not be registered. Can someone tell me how to correct this?
It is not possible installing Oracle in WINDOWS ME platform, because this won't support for ORACLE. Unfortunately ORACLE also have no version for WINDOWS ME. If possible, upgrade your OS to WINDOWS 2000 or downgrade to WINDOWS 98 and try it.

Flash10e.ocx Error!
Hi,
I recently installed a software that uses Flash Player in it. However, I'm having trouble starting the program as it crashes with the following message:-
Run-time Error 339:
Component 'Flash10e.ocx' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid
I tried manually installing the OCX file but with no luck. Can somebody tell me what's wrong?I navigated to the folder you mentioned but I can't find the Flash32_15_0_0152.ocx file that you are talking of. Instead, I have the following list of files :
FlashInstall.log
flashplayer.xpt
FlashPlayerPlugin_15_0_0_152.exe
FlashPlayerUpdateService.exe
FlashUtil11c_ActiveX.dll
FlashUtil11c_ActiveX.exe
FlashUtil32_15_0_0_152_Plugin.exe
install.log
mms.cfg
NPSWF32.dll
NPSWF32_15_0_0_152.dll
NPSWF32_FlashUtil.exe
plugin.vch
uninstall_plugin.exe
By the way, I'm using a 32-bit PC so I don't have the "SysWOW64" folder. Instead, I have a "System32" folder.
Thanks for trying to help! I really appreciate it. -
Flash32_11_7_700_169.ocx error!
Hi im trying to use a swf player named bakaloader and whenever i try opening a file i get this error : Component ''flash32_11_7_700_169.ocx'' or one of its dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid!
This happened when i got a new computer and don't know what is causing it. I tried uninstalling and re-installing. I am also not able to use any other swf player but the errors i get are more like: ''Flash is not installed'' or '' failed to create empty folder''
I used to have issue with file permission but I fixed it so I don't know if this might be the issue.
I downloaded flash projector and it's working but i can't navigate through the file and will only play the swf files( wich are games) normally. I'd like to be able to access the different ''chapters'' without having to go through the whole game.
I do not have any problem with flash player on website and I'm using LOCAL swf files
thank youTry if this installer works better: http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/flashplayer/current/licensing/mac/install_flash_playe r_11_osx.dmg
