Muddled to/from/subject and msg body, even in msg source!

Every morning I collect email--from 40 to 70 messages--and message filtering usually works efficiently to transfer from Inbox to folders, Somewhere along the line, one or two emails get muddled together: the to/from/subject don't match the text (from some other, unrelated email). I've been looking at the message source and find that two emails have somehow combined, and the display may therefore be the to/from/subject of one email but the text of another.
I've been using FF and TB for more than 10 years now, and really don't know where this kind of email muddling originates. The problem has been apparent for a couple of months now, and occurs a few days a week. I use the latest Thunderbird under Windows 7 on a Dell desktop.
Of course I can send screenshots and forward the message source for analysis.

This is an indication of file corruption. Lack of maintenance on your email folders is the usual cause of this.
You can try to repair the file tables and see if that helps. Be prepared to lose messages if the corruption is too bad.
Right click the problem folder. Select Properties and then Repair Folder.
Then read this article about best practices to help prevent this in the future.

In the Thread Pane where your messages are listed?
You see that bar with the labels "From", "Subject", "Date" and so on? Well, they are buttons. You can click on them to sort your messages. You can also drag them with the mouse left and right to reposition them, and you can drag their ends to change the column widths.
These are standard computer actions; you can do all of this in Windows Explorer ("My Computer") too.
In Thunderbird, a right-click on any of these buttons will reveal a pop-up menu where you can select and deselect the columns to control what is shown.

My pc sound level is very low on playback from dvd and most websites even though its at 100 percent

the playback level on dvd and most video streams is very low.(youtube seems ok)This is my second pavillion g7 w/ windows 7 .The first had a defective fan but the sound level was ok and there was a graphic eq section for sound control with other output options.I've yet to find that area on this pc in the month I,ve had it even though their identical computers.I,m at a loss for the cause of the problem.Headphones work fine but are annoying.

i use professional studio monitors to monitor the audio
the issue , is if i turn up the audio it will clip on premieres main output. so i cant turn it up any more.
the specific moment i took the screenshot the audio volume was at -18db, but even if it was up at 0db it would not even reach half volume on my computers main output
this is the case regardless of the nature of the audio, be it stock music, dialogue, or sound effects maybe there is a hidden master output that im unaware of

I want to adjust the column width of "From", "Subject" and "Date". in the AT&T email within Firefox browser

My computer runs under Windows Vista Home Premium, and Firefox browser 3.6.13. Within the Firefox browser, it shows an AT&T email window (www.sbc.yahoo.com). There are several columns such as subject, date, etc. I was able to adjust such column width before. Now I cannot do it. (Also I can adjust column width if I run in the Internet Explorer. I have another computer running Window 7 professional, same set up with Fire Fox and AT&T email, I am able to adjust the column width so I can show the full subject line.

Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

ERMS : Auto Acknowledgement Mail , Subject and Mail Body is empty

Hi Guys ,
We have set up an auto acknowledgement mail scenario . Acknowledgement mail is triggered , but the subject line and mail content are empty.
We are using email forms here .
If anyone has faced the same challenge , please let me know .

Hard to say. Mail forms are language dependant. Did you check that your mail form is maintained in the language used to generate the email (it is based on the user generating the email I believe) ?

Mails were deleted automatically from inbox and sent items, even in deleted items in Exchange 2013 CU2

Dear all:
I encountered a problem and needs to be solved.
We runs Exchange 2013 CU2, and some users told me that their mails in sent items and inbox were automatically delivered into "deleted items", especially in last two weeks or yesterday.
The users said they cannot delete so many mails at one time. And now I found one user's mails in "deleted items" were also deleted this morning.
I don't know whether it was bug or not in exchange 2013 cu2, and how to solve this problem? Thanks for any help.

Are there any commons among problematic users or deleted emails? For example,
they are on the same database
they have delegate settings
they are using mobile phone to sync emails
At the same time, I'd recommend you enable Mailbox Audit Log for the problematic users. For your reference:

Anybody knows why I have started getting emails that have no from, no subject and no body? I'm not sure when it started exactly, I have been getting about one a week and today I got 2 together. Strange behaviour...

I have been getting these too! They really bother me. And sometimes I get email that has a weird bunch of nonsense letters and numbers as the sender.
I usually delete these immediately without opening them, but wonder what is going on!

Change email subject and body

For one of my requirement, the email subject and body has to be changed. For order confirmation and quotation, the standard behaviour of having the smartform name as the subject name should be changed and ther ehas to be a dynamic subject name. Similarly the email content should also be changed. Is this possible? Can anyone suggest me the steps?

Could you please tell what method are you using to create emails?
If it is using workflows then you can change the subject and mail body dynamically using parameters and expressions.
If you are sending mail using an FM call, then also you can create dynamic subject and mail body.
Please provide the details so that an appropriate solution could be provided.

Integrate features from Classify and Jazzify to eventual update

I understand that in order to move Spotify forward and bring it in line with all versions of its applications that third-party apps needed to be removed, and I appreciate that sentiment and applaud Spotify for continuously evolving. However, there were 2 apps Classify and Jazzify that completely changed the user experience on Spotify and made it better and I think could improve user experience for all users if integrated into the native desktop application. Because classical music is not as well categorized or organized on native spotify it is difficult to find, discovery and understand the world of classical music on spotify. Both classify and jazzify made these utlities achievable for their respective genres. As user mariexc said " It was more than random playlists, the way it was arranged made it genuinely easier to better understand the world of classical music." I think that integrating features like Classify or Jazzify would make leaps and bounds in allowing users to delve into a genre that they might not know a lot about, or help casual listeners really understand and become intimate with that. I understand that the app probably won't come back, but I hope spotify will help to integrate this functionality into a future update. Thanks, KM

Classify was an outsanding way to discover new music ! I really love what you guys at spotify did with the last update but I have to say that "native" spotify is really not well suited for classical music. Classify allowed us to find classical music according to the era, the main instrument, the mood, the composer and it was so awesome, escpecially for guys like me who are really into understanding how music has evolved throughout history. Please integrate features from classify (and jazzify too, even though I was not using it as much as classify) in Spotify it would be awesome !

email does get delivered and is displayed html-formatted, except that the From:, To: and
Subject: lines are displayed in the email body, rather than in the email header. I

Two things in the email need fixing:
1. All the From:, To: and Subject: lines are treated as part of the email body and are
displayed in the email body, rather than in the header as I wanted them to.
2. The From: line in the email header is the actual sender, not the Bursar.Office as I
put in the testmail file. This can be easily done when using SMTP (telnet to port 25)
or mailx.
How do I tell sendmail/the email client to display in the intended places the From:,
To: and Subject: information that I specified in the testmail file?

I searched in google and found a solution:
mailx -r [email protected] -s "test html email
content-type: text/html" john.doe < testmail
The testmail file is a pure html file with one <html></html> element. The content embedded in this element is the body of the email, with all the usual tags you would like to use: <head>, <style>, <h3>, <p>, <ul>, etc.
The trick is piggy-backing a content-type with the subject. It seems to me this it to get the content-type into the email header rather than into the body. And that was exactly the problem I had.
The command lines was executed on Solaris 10. It works.
Hope this could be useful to someone who would encounter the same problem.

did you try to run report parameter form = yes ,
put to the parameter form following system parameters and set et.
run report with belove value
    - DESTYPE = MAIL
    - DESFORMAT = PDF
    - DESNAME = mail adres
then according to the result ,rearrange your report forms side while invoke report from forms
     - SET_REPORT_OBJECT_PROPERTY( reportobject_id , DESTYPE          , mail ) ;

Mailbox Quota Message, Sender, Subject and Body blank?

Running Leopard Server, I have mail quotas enabled. System sends the email to the user but the email message From Address, Subject, and Body are blank. I have them set in Server Admin but they don't show in the message. Is there a setup file that I can edit in terminal to correct?

Haven't checked yet on Leopard, but I would think the files are:
/private/etc/mail/quota_warning.txt
/private/etc/mail/quota_exceeded.txt

Setting Mail Subject and Body

I have configured sending a mail with PDF attachment for Invoices in NACE. the program is RLB_INVOICE The mail goes fine with the PDF attachment to external mail address.
Now I need put subject and Body for the email.
There are 2 issues now.
1. In transaction NACE i am using "Mail title and texts" node when i fill the Document title, the same document title appears for the e-mail subject as well as the name of the attachment. But i need different names for the subject and attachment and the invoice number must be present in the subject.
2. Under the "Text" tab when i maintain some texts, this doesn't appear anywhere in the mail.
How do i maintain Subject and Body for the e-mail.

Save and come out of transaction.
And again
VF01/ VF02 ->
Issue Output type select the Output with medium 5.
and click on the OK button.
It should stop.
To pass value from driver program to Enhancement point.
I used FIELD SYMBOLS.
Since i am offline, i do not have exact syntax.
It will be something like this
FIELD SYMBOLS : <OUTPUTTYPE> type any.
ASSIGN '( PROGRAMNAME(FIELD NAME)) TO <OUTPUTTYPE>
IF <OUTPUTTYPE> IS ASSIGNED.

Emails appear in bold text (subject and body)

A few days after installing OS X Yosemite on my iMac, all of my Comcast emails appear in bold text (subject and body text). This makes it difficult to distinguish unread email from read email. I view email directly through the Comcast website (NOT with Outlook or Mail). This issue happens in Firefox and Safari. My email looks normal on other devices. I am working with Comcast to try to resolve the issue, but since it started a few days after upgrading to Yosemite, I thought I'd check here too.

Try to set the Boolean pref <b>gfx.font_rendering.directwrite.use_gdi_table_loading</b> to <i>false</i> on the <b>about:config</b> page.

i activated access method M in tr. SPAD and via this method i'm sending various reports in PDF to external e-mails. But when recepitiens recive e-mail i have subject of e-mail composed of SYSTEM ID and SPOOL NUMBER (e.g. R3P-12345) and i also have defaulted mail body text :
The Mail Attachment Contains the Print File Created by User XXXXX , with Number xxxx from SAP System R3P .
To Print the Data, Open the Mail Attachment with a Suitable Program and Print the Document.
How can i change mail subject and body text?
