Multiple Creative Cloud Subscriptions vs Creative Cloud Team

Hi there,
My company is currently using CS3 and looking to purchase Creative Cloud for myself and our Graphic Designer. So we will probably start with 2 subscriptions, possibly more further down the track but that may not be for a while.
My question is would it be better to just subscribe the both of us to Creative Cloud as two separate accounts, or should we go for the Creative Cloud Team Ready offer? I'm finding it hard to find information about pricing for Creative Cloud Team (we are in Australia), so it just feels like it would be easier to go for the two separate subscriptions.
My main concerns are if there is any major benefit in terms of pricing and features, given that we are a relatively small team.
Thanks
Dan

Hi Dan,
The pricing differences might not be significant enough to justify it with just two members but you could contact an Adobe authorized reseller near you to confirm and get some quotes.

  • Multiple Creative Cloud Subscriptions

I have multiple copies of Adobe Creative Suite purchased under my account and cannot find a way to add mulitple subscriptions of Create Cloud under that account. It apparently only lets you add one account.
For management reasons it does not make sense to add multiple Adobe accounts for additional Creative Cloud subscriptions.
Anyone know how to accomplish this?

    Hi there,
Adobe's Creative Cloud uses a new identity-based licensing model which means only one subscription per Adobe account. You will want to look into the Creative Cloud Team Ready offer.
The Team Ready offer is a 12-month term based TLP (Transactional Licensing Program) offering that consists of immediate access to CS6 Master Collection and Adobe Photoshop Lightroom via ESD (Electronic Software Download). Customers of the Creative Cloud Team Ready offer receive ongoing value over time, including access to new Adobe tools, services, and applications as the offerings become available, including Adobe Edge, and Adobe Muse. You pay the same price as the Creative Cloud Team offering and will be automatically transitioned to the Team Membership when it is available later this year.

  • I'd like to add multiple creative cloud subscriptions to my adobe account. How can I do that?

We have several staff that need to upgrade their version of CS and are considering creative cloud.

Adobe is preparing Creative Cloud Team which will be exactly this. You can currently purchase Team Ready which is a TLP volume license to Master Collection CS6 with the ability to transition to Creative Cloud Team once available (later in 2012).

  • Can I transfer seats from one Creative Cloud team account to another?

I originally set up my Creative Cloud Teams account through a reseller, but I have been having a bad experience with the reseller.
So I set up a new Creative Cloud Teams account directly through Adobe.
Is it possible to transfer the seats from the old account to the new one? Ultimately, I'd like to cancel the teams account managed by the reseller.

    Hey imattster!
If you are speaking of merging your Apple IDs so that the purchases are under a singular account, this question is addressed in the Apple ID FAQ which can be found here:
I have multiple Apple IDs. Is there a way for me to merge them into a single Apple ID?
Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.
If you are wondering how using multiple Apple IDs relate to iCloud, see Apple IDs and iCloud.
Frequently asked questions about Apple ID

However, I have an article for you that can help you use your new iCloud account for personal data while continuing to use your old Apple ID/iCloud account for your purchased items so that you do not have to worry about not being able to utilize any previously purchased apps:
Using one Apple ID for iCloud and a different Apple ID for Store Purchases
You can use different Apple IDs for iCloud and Store purchases and still get all of the benefits of iCloud. Just follow these steps:
    iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch:
When you first set up your device with iOS 5 or later, enter the Apple ID you want to use with iCloud. If you skipped the setup assistant, sign in to Settings > iCloud and enter the Apple ID you’d like to use with iCloud.
In Settings > iTunes and App Stores, sign in with the Apple ID you want to use for Store purchases (including iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match). You may need to sign out first to change the Apple ID.

  • How do I set up multiple Creative Cloud accounts for the same login?

I have a number of Macs of various flavors.  I want to install Creative Cloud apps on four of these units.
I have a subscription currently which I am using for my MBP 17, and a 27" iMac.
I want to add an account for my MB Air and Mac Pro, and I'm willing to double my subscription fees to do it.  (I use different apps on each of the computers, though I like the idea of having the ability to use them all on each.) How do I accomplish this addtional subscription without having to add a new Adobe account?
    Second Question:
I have the one-year special on my current subscription due to licensed PS 5.5. ($29.95/mo).  Would I be eligible on my second subscription for the same deal due to the license on the PS 5.5, or would I qualify due to being a Acrobat Pro 8 owner... or Licensed owner of previous versions of PS?  OR.... would I immediately be paying $49.95/mo for the second account?
Either way, I'm in. Just want to do it all under one account if at all possible.
Thanks in advance for resolution.  Cheers.

Currently all subscriptions (with the exception of Team Ready) require a separate Adobe ID for each Creative Cloud Membership. Its not possible to have two memberships under the same Adobe ID.
Adobe has a Team Ready offering for customers interested in a volume license for Creative Cloud. This is a TLP volume license to Master Collection CS6 and includes licensing for Lightroom and Muse. Customers with this will transition to Creative Cloud Team once available later in 2012. This product uses only a single serial # and Adobe ID. It's not the same as Creative Cloud Membership like what is currently available, but rather a means to get customers setup with something now to transition to the volume license Creative Cloud Team offering once available. If this sounds like something you would be interested in please contact a local Adobe Reseller for more info.

I just read over the terms of the introductory offer and it is a 1 per customer offer, so it would be 49.95/mo for a second account.

  • How do I merge multiple creative cloud account id's into a single account

We have multiple creative account id's and would like to merge them into one, moving the three licenses we have under one account id. We'd also like to be able to purchase additional licenses under this account id.  How do we do this.

Creative Cloud individual membership works on one membership per Adobe ID.
Multiple memberships require multiple Adobe IDs.
To get what you want, you need Adobe Creative Cloud for Teams
    http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/teams.html
    http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/faq.html#ccm-teams
You'll have to weigh up the cost vs convenience of the individual vs team membership.

  • Can I have multiple Creative Cloud under one account?

If we are a business and want to buy multiple copies of Creative Cloud, I was told that I needed to create an different AdobeID account for each copy of Creative Cloud. Is that right?
    Thanks!

Thats right for the Creative Cloud individual edition you need to have for each Creative Cloud Subscription a seperate AdobeID.
    http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/faq.html
Can I buy more than one membership to an individual offering of Creative Cloud?
No, Adobe has moved to identity-based licensing with a technology that will not support multiple same-product subscriptions, so you can only buy one membership per Adobe ID.  If you need two subscriptions to Creative Cloud, you will need to purchase each subscription with a unique Adobe ID.
When you install your software, you will be required to enter the same Adobe ID that you used when purchasing your membership, for the following reasons:
To help ensure that the person who subscribed is the same person who is installing the software
To enable Adobe to send you important account information in the event your subscription is about to expire or cannot be charged to your credit card

  • Upgrade to Creative Cloud Teams from single CC membership

I currently have a single Creative Cloud Membership, and would like to upgrade to a CC Teams membership.  What is the best way to handle this?

    Hi Engelads,
You can purchase the Creative cloud team subscription from www.creative.adobe.com or through a reseller. But make sure you cancel the individual subscription before placing the order for the Creative Cloud for teams because on one Adobe Id there can be only one subscription.
You will not have to uninstall the CC applications which you have already installed in your computer. You just need to launch Adobe creative cloud desktop app --- logout and log back in.
    Thanks

  • Merging Multiple Creative Cloud Accounts

If I purchase multiple creative cloud accounts using multiple IDs, will I be able to merge them or transfer them to a Team account or volume licensing account?
Really excited about CS6, dont want to wait till the Fall...

The current policy for Adobe IDs is
I want to merge/delete my account
You cannot merge or delete an account, including an Adobe Volume Licensing (AVL) account, on your own. Contact us to submit your request. Be prepared with your Adobe ID, or IDs if you have multiple accounts.
I am not sure if that is changing for this release. I am guessing not.

  • How many user licenses are allowed under Creative Cloud TEAM?

I have at least five employees, maybe a few more, who would be using the various applications available. Much of the time they would all need to be working in the same application simultaneously. Three of them are on Macs, two are using PCs. How many subscriptions to Creative Cloud Team do I need to cover this? From the information I have sifted through, I see that one user license means that there is some way an individual user is identified and that user can install the software on two different machines. Is that correct? Then, how many actual different "users" are allowed on one subscription of the TEAM?
I also see information regarding "seats" and "devices". I suppose "seats" is another term for individual user? And "devices" is whatever machine, be it computer, iPad, etc.
All I want to know is the Team version going to cover my needs or do I need to go to Enterprise? Or what?

You can buy as many number of seats as you wish to. Each seat is assigned to one User by sending an invite & the the User accepts the invite from his mail.
Each seat has 100 GB of storage space. Each User can activate CC twice. Hence the users can use the same app at the same time as they will be logged with their own Adobe ID .

  • Access Multiple Creative Cloud Storages

Currently, I work at home and at work (duh).
Both, I and my place of work own separate subscriptions to CC. However, as you can imagine, I often work on the same file (say a FLA file) both at work and at home.
So the question arises, will we ever be able to create a link to authorize access to another CC [online] Storage through the new File Sync feature in the latest version of the CC desktop program.
The reason I ask this is some of the files I work with are multi-gig in size and may fail to upload via the web-browser option currently available.
The only other option is to sign out of the CC of the 'work sub' and sign in with my own personal sub; then remember to sign out before leaving. This option is much more likely to fail and end up with me calling Support to unlock the license (from activating and deactivating in a short period of time).

  • Trouble with newly purchased Creative Cloud Team

I just purchased Creative Cloud Team with 5 seats.  When we go to download the different applications, some only say "TRY".  WHAT IS UP WITH THIS?!?!
I get Premiere and After Effects, but Photoshop only has a "TRY" button.  My coworker isn't even seeing Premiere in his options!  What is going on here?!
    Someone, please help.
    Thanks.

No worries, just follow some extra steps.
Did you assign seats to your coworkers ?
You have to log-in with the email and password of the Team manager; probably the one who purchased it - you as well ? Then look for the button to manage your team (assigning seats by inviting probably yourself and other users). Don't forget they all (you included) need to click the Acceptance link in the invitation email they received ! After that, the application buttons will display "Install".

  • Going from single app to Creative Cloud team account

I had the monthly single app for $9.99 per month beginning December 1, 2013. I just joined a Creative Cloud Team account and am the second person on that team. Do I have to uninstall the products I currently have installed before I install the apps I need? I tried just adding what I don't have and got error messages that didn't tell me a thing.

    Hi Littlenance,
You need not uninstall or re-download any application if the adobe id you are using is the same.
Just sign out and sign in to the Creative cloud application as mentioned in the link: Sign out, Sign in | Creative Cloud Desktop app

  • Creative Cloud Teams additional seat pricing

    Hi,
I recently converted from CC individual to CC for teams membership with discounted prices for the next two years.
Have looked through the support pages and forums without finding answer to my question:
Will the price per additional seat remain the same throughout the two-year period, or will it go up when the offer ends?
    Thanks!
    Best regards,
    Morgan

    Hi morgahn,
    Welcome to Adobe Forum,
The price of additional seat will remain locked for two years from the date of purchase of the Creative Cloud Team, after the offer period ends, the price of additional seat will be as of the then prevalent price.

    Rajshree
