My 6500 cannot recieve files from other brand thro...

I had just bought a brandnew 6500 slide.
When I tried to recieve files from sony ericsson, it cannot recieve. However when he send the same file to a Nokia phone and send it to me it works.
So can someone please help me to solve this problem.

Ever since I updated my iMac to OS 10.5.2 the same thing is happening to it. I have three cellphones, they're paired but they aren't able to send any files to the computer. I always receive a " failed to connect" message from each phone. Any advise?

Hi, I'm having trouble with Bluetooth on my 8320 curve. I can Bluetooth music and picture files to Sony ericsson phones, but when these phones try to Bluetooth these types of files to me, even after pairing has been achieved, and passkeys entered etc., a message comes up on their screens saying that the 'connection has failed'. This has happened every time any files have been sent to me.

Substitute, in the KB, the appropriate instructions for your other device in place of the KB section for the sending device. Do not skip the "Receive Using BT" step on the receiving BB...nothing will transfer if you do.

I cannot recieve text from other ipone users

I can send and receive text messages from non-iphone users. I can send messages, but do not receive texts from other iphone users.

Recieving files from others on Iphone

I'm confused, on any other phone i can receive pictures, mp3 files and various other types of MM. On this Iphone i can't receive anything, i always get a message to goto viewmymessage.com and type in a password and user name just to view the file. What the heck why can i receive it to my phone and save it like other phones? So much money for a phone that can't seem to do the basics.

The iPhone does not support MMS, Bluetooth file transfer nor saving files outside of a received email or from a website to storage space on the iPhone - at the present time anyway which are not secrets. This is included with the hundreds of reviews and blogs, etc. that are over the internet nor are these functions listed as being available at Apple's website for the iPhone.
It doesn't matter that any other phone is capable of doing the same which is not true nor how much the iPhone costs. I don't believe it was by chance or oversight or that all Apple employees involved with the iPhone project which had been in the works for several years prior to the released never owned or used a cell phone that these functions were not included initially with no indication these features will be added at some point. Apple chose not to include the features for reasons only they know which we aren't privileged to.
The only thing we can do is provide Apple feedback about features we want which may not match the features everyone else wants or at least for the majority that provide Apple their feedback which is also no guarantee that Apple will add all features provided by feedback - or not purchase an iPhone in the first place or if purchased due to assumptions being made about available features based on the sales price or for whatever the reasons, return the iPhone for credit and purchase something else.
People keep lining up to purchase an iPhone knowing that certain wanted or needed features are not included have no one to blame but themselves. If assumptions were made and this is not learned until after making the purchase and using the iPhone, the iPhone can be returned for credit within 14 days less a 10% restocking fee. If one decides to keep it anyway, it is what it is.

Adobe Bridge CC cannot obtain files from this device.

I am getting this error message when I attempt to upload videos to my Mac from my Canon 7D:
Adobe Bridge CC cannot obtain files from this device. Please be sure the device is properly plugged in and the battery is full charged.
Battery is full charged and camera is connected properly. I have restarted the camera, Bridge, and the computer as well. I tried reinstalling Bridge and it allowed me to upload 3 of the video files. Then the error message came back. There were a few RAW images on the camera that I was able to upload, but when I tried the video again I got the error message. I read a post about renaming the folder that you are saving to as a fix. I tried that as well, but it did not work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Cannot delete files from my ipod shuffle!!!

I am new to using an ipod and i cannot delete files from my ipod, on itunes, it only shows the license agreement where the ipod files are supposed to be and no matter how many times i uninstall and reinstall itunes and agree to the license agreement i can't access anything else. can anyone help me at all i feel like a complete idiot!

I download photos to my computer using a Kingston downloading device.
Since installing Mavericks the above message comes up and will not carry out the download.
Is this a known problem with Mavericks and is there a remedy?
I would say that using the same device my photos download perfectly on my MacBook Pro.

The MacBook Pro is not running Mavericks and sorry about the double post.
I have actually solved the problem and the answer might be of use to others with the same problem.
There is a firmware update that will correct the problem.

There is a small catch in that the firmware update can only be done on a Windows machine but I have been told that once this is done it can be used with OSX9 .I have just done the download but I haven't checked this out yet.

Apple Remote Desktop ARD 3.7 cannot drag files from local to remote. I've been able to drag n drop folders and files from my local to the remotes for years until the update to 3.7. Anyone else experiencing this issue? I've tried changing preferences. No luck. Maybe I'm missing a setting somewhere.
I'm on 10.8.5. Remote is same with 3.7 client. This happens with multiple remotes.

Let me guess. The Get and Send clibboard contents buttons are greyed out too?
It is only affecting me on clients already upgraded to 3.7. None of the clients on older versions are affected.
ARD is also crashing a lot.
Most of the time I go to a screen share to a client it takes way too long, so I clock Stop, then try to connect again and works straight away.
Hopefully a patch will be released soon.

6230 recieving files from computer via bluetooth

Hello all, can any body help me with this question,
I conected my bluetooh adapter to my computer running the cd rom, it was successful and i was able to recieve files to my phone and send to the computer.
But recently when i switched my bluetooh on, i am only able to recieve files from computre but am unable to send files from phone to computer, i aslo tried to click the paired device button on my phoen but i get msg, the 'no device found'. Can somebody tell me plz how to pair my mobile with the computer again.
When i go to setting-connectivity--bluetooth-paired device- then it says new and that section is empty instead it had a name of the computre which it was connected to.
Anyone plz who can help

Win: Cannot import files from camera

I am running PSE 6.0 on Windows XP. I have updated Camera Raw to the latest version. I have a Canon EOS XSi camera attached. When trying to import the files for the camera I get the message "Adobe Photoshop Elements cannot upload files from this device...." Camera is connected properly and has a strongly charged battery. PSE also cannot open or import RAW files that were transferred from the camera to the harddisk using other software. Latest version of the Camera Raw plugin is documented to support this camera. What am I missing? The import is working on a RAW file when this message occurs. The import stops and no files are imported.

Which version of Camera Raw are you using ? Can you try copying these files from your camera on your hard disk and then trying import via File->Get Photos from Files and Folders.

I cannot retrieve files from Time Machine. I can enter it, but the arrows don't seem to function and when I click on a date/time, nothing happens.

I don't know what you mean by "arrows". After Entering TM, put your pointer over one of the coloured (usually purple) dated bars at the right of the screen. That will bring (usually the desktop) for that date to the front. Navigate in the usual way to find the old file, select it, and press the big Restore button on the bottom left of your screen. As I remember it, a copy of that file will appear beside the current original with something like "Restored" added to is title. When you quit TM (Cancel) that restored file should appear beside its current version. (Or, if it's host folder has been deleted, smewhere else but I can't remember where - search for it.)
