I have all my albums and songs stored on portable hard drive,,,I downloaded them from itunes on my old computer. after installing itunes on new computer I can not get it to find them on the portable hard drive ?
what you have to do is copy all of your albums and songs into the itunes folder on your new computers hard drive and then start itunes and give it a few minutes and the items will show up in itunes

Most likely you have Office 2004 which are PPC-only applications and will not work in Lion. Upgrade to Office 2011. Other alternatives are:
Apple's iWork suite (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.)
Open Office (Office 2007-like suite compatible with OS X.)
NeoOffice (similar to Open Office.)

I need to deactivate it because we are getting rid of the computer it is on and are buying a new one. When I go to Help there is no Deactivate option. The only options are: "Help", "Hide Coach", "Tip of the Day", "Adobe Website", "Technical Support Website", "Frequently Asked Questions", "Check for Updates", "Register", "Download e-License..." (Greyed out), "Return e-License..." (Greyed out) and "About Adobe Visual Communicator 3". I spoke with support through chat and they said my product was no longer supported.

I have tried 3 official apple ones and 2 different plugs. Ive tried plugging it into my laptop but will not find the phone. it has had problems since i updated my ios. Battery has been replaced. Any suggestions would be fantastic
test if it charges with an ac charger
test if it's detected by another computer
if it's no to both then likely the connector is broken
if it's yes to both thne it's likely your computers itunes install which is the problem -

If you drained the battery, it may take a bit for it to come back. I'd plug it in and leave it for a few hours and see if it's charging.
If not, you can try to do a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. When you see the white apple, let go and let it reset and see if it charges.
It's also possible that your battery has reached the end of its life. THey can only handle a finite amount of recharge cycles. If you can't get it to hold a charge, then make an appointment at your local apple store and explore your other options. -
I am trying to sync my ipod and the new itunes library I just loaded. My old computer basicall crashed and I had to get a new one. They were able to recover all the data from my old computer, but there is no music listed in the new itunes library. How do I get this to work as it did on the old computer?

And if you add the media into a new library, or didn't manage to recover it all you may have problems syncing your device without losing data. Those issues are addressed in the user tip Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device.

I have just purchased a iPhone 4S outright and I backed it up through iTunes from a previous backup of my 3GS. I have deleted that previous back up and now when I connect this 4S to iTunes to sync, it sits in Backing Up "Julie's IPhone" with the candy stripes, it will not proceed further. Even when I try to restore (with back up) it sits in this. I have to keep disconnecting and trying again. Please help, this is driving me insane!!!

Ok, here goes with the explanation. I am running a Mac Mini mid 2010 with mt iTunes library on an external USB drive. I dual boot the computer into Windows 7. I want to be able to use the same iTunes library in both Operating Systems. I am trying to set this up on the Windows side without accidentily erasing, moving or duplicating any files. In the past when I have tried I have ended up with multiple files. I have an iCloud also but do not want to download any files again. How can I get iTunes on Windows to simply recognise my existing storage and create a library list from what is already there rather than duplicating files?
Update: As soon as I signed in with my iTunes account iCloud picked up my playlist and now lists all my music. Right clicking on the songs give me the choice to download the files, but the files already exist oin my external USB. I simply want iTunes on Windows 7 to point to the existing files.How is the external drive formatted?

Bridge worked fine on my old computer, but I can't remember what I did to see the previews.Photoshop uses the in built Adobe Camera Raw plug-in to read Raw files.
Raw file formats used by camera manufacturers are unique for each and every camera on the market. So Camera Raw is continually updated by Adobe. The version of Camera Raw you have installed supports a different range of cameras depending on which version. Earlier versions do not support newer cameras.

The 1DX was first supported by Camera Raw 6.7 (compatible with CS5+)
The 1Ds Mark III was first supported by Camera Raw 4.3 (compatible with CS3+)
When you re-installed CS5, you reset Camera Raw back to 6.0 so it can read 1Ds Mark III Raw files out of the box - but not 1DX without updating Camera Raw.
In Photoshop CS5, click Help > Updates to re-install Camera Raw 6.7.
If the Update mechanism does not work, try installing ACR 6.7 manually

I cannot share itune files on the same laptop. I have two users on my laptop using windows 7.file sharing is turned on,when i click on the itune startup screen-find music files, nothing happens. the instructions in the help section must be from an earlier version of itunes because the edit folder is not laid out like it describes.
Have you rendered both iOS 7 and iOS 8 (both of which will work on your iPhone 5) out of the question entirely without trying every possible configuration? The animations can be disabled entirely, if that's the problem. And if the whiter-brighter user interface is the problem, there's reverse-contrast modes that darken everything. You can expose accessibility controls to gain immediate access to these functions to toggle them on and off. I guess my point is you may have decided against upgrading the OS based on an early experience with iOS 7 when Apple has since made changes in later revisions to address some of the usability complaints.
Now, Apple's instructions for downloading older versions of apps is to do so from the Purchased list, not from the app's product page.

Mac Book Pro with OS X Mountain Lion will not recognize headset mic via Rosetta Stone software. What should I do?

I am using version 3. I have used the apple/settings on my mac. The headset is appearing there and it is selected there. In the Rosetta Stone select/find window nothing shows up. It is blank. But the volume bars react when I speak and sliding the fader has the expected effect of raising and lowering the input. There is just no device showing up as the selected input device in the Rosetta Stone software.
I have done everything my Mac instructions say to uninstall and reinstall the Rosetta Stone software properly.
I'm guessing the problem may be in the licensing. I installed it first on the old hard drive that crashed. Maybe that used the terms of the license and now installing it in the new hard drive violates the license somehow. So that's why it will not work properly. It allows me to open the lessons and asks me if I want to continue from where I left off. I click continue. Then it asks me if I want to register the software. I click the tab for already registered software and click continue. Then nothing happens. So again I click on the button that indicates I want to continue lessons from where I left off. The same process happens with it asking me if I want to register the software. And it will not proceed through a lesson. -
