  • EPrint does not work with Google Apps for Business (hosted email)

I have looked up numerous posts, from back into 2011 even, and HP still has not resolved this.
HP's ePrint does not work with companies using Google Apps for Business (hosted email).
Our emails come from our domain, but from the servers/DNS of Google, so we wind up getting
the "550 5.7.1 Command Rehected" error.
This is a major issue as more and more companies (especially small business owners) are moving away
from having in-house/Exchange servers, and they are moving toward hosted systems.
You really need to find a way to stop rejecting emails coming from Google Apps hosted email.
It's been around 4 years now (looking at previous posts). Why hasn't HP found a resolution to this yet?

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP.
They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number.
Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact.
Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post serial numbers and case details.
If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, this post has instructions.

  • EPrint does not work after new wifi router on Verizon DSL

I have been using ePrint on my iPod, iPad, and iPhone for a few months without a problem, but recently had to switch to a new wifi router on my Verizon DSL, as my wifi kept turning off and Verizon's solution was an updated wifi router. Since the switch, I cannot ePrint from my mobile devices. I can, after reconfiguration, print from my laptops. The ePrint app still finds the Deskjet 3050a, says "sending to printer", but will not print. The ePrint is turned on. I tried to delete the app and reinstall in hopes that I can start fresh, but it still does not work. I tried to add a new printer, with the email supplied on the ePrint screen on the printer, but nothing.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Honor Student
Is your printer connected to the new router as it sounds like it is still looking for the old one ?  Maybe  just disconnect it and reconnect it again to your new router and then the ePrint APP should pick it up.

    Thanks

  • Any intelligent people from HP on this forum ? Why the Disney app eprint does not work ?

There is a problem with the Disney App on the Photosmart eprint application . After the selection of an image there is only a preview button and no way to print. If you use this button nothing appear except a black screen !!!
First of all stop to make stupid answer like unsbscribe eprint service uninstall the disney application or verify that your a registered  or check that your printer is powered ....IT DOES NOT WORK even all this check is on !!!
And you can also check that all of the users with this bug have try this and no way.... That is the problem with this application ? Do you have any user that can print something from this app. Find a solution or unvalidate this application.
Oh I forgot to teel you that it work perfectly for the dreamwork application.
    Regards, Defmak.

The disney app is currently experiencing problems. It is an issue on Disney's end which is why you can print from other applications. Unfortunately I'm not sure when Disney will have the issue taken care of but what I would suggest is to try later.
    Hope this helps!

  • EPrint registration NOT WORKING in HP Laserjet 200 M276 PCL6

I bought this printer and its only to be able to print on the move, but the ePrint Web service or better enabling the same does not want to work.
The printer is the HP LaserJet 200 colorMFP M276nw PCL6, the serial number is CNF8G6S398, the computer support is an Asus EEE Notebook with Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1.
Updated firmware to version 20140521 (20140718 version does NOT work) to see if it was a firmware problem, the problem remains the same, it does not work through the  EWS in my browser, either from the printer panel, this code you can not have.
The printer works regularly in the local network, here in this link all the configuration parameters (the firmware has been updated as mentioned in the link is the old one, but the rest of the configuration is the same).

    Hello @ Averus89,
    Welcome to the HP forum.
I understand you have done quite a lot to resolve your M176n and its connection to the ePrint service.
I would like to help you with this issue.
If the printer is not printing the web services info sheet, or allowing you to add it to HP Connected, I
    would set a manual DNS.
I wont go into great detail about setting this up. From your post, I feel you know your way around the printer and your network. If I am mistaken, let me know. I will go into detail.
    The DNS to try is:
    Primary: 209.244.0.3
    Secondary: 209.244.0.4
Set the DNS then try printing the web services info page again.
Let me know if this helps.

  • WIFI ePrint B110a not working after new modem router

I have had an ePrint  Photosmart B110a for over a year. It has worked great.
However recently our wifi modem router died, and we had to get a new one. It is a Dlink DSL 2875 AL.
I have set up the router and connected the printer to it via WIFI.
Now here is the problem. Immediately after I connect it, the printer works for about 15 seconds.
In other words, I reconnect the WIFI on the printer to the WIFI network, then if I immediately try to print something on my iPhone via WIFI, it will work.
However within less than 30 seconds if I try to print something else, it will say "printer is offline" and then won't show the printer at all in the iPhone "select printer" options menu.
I've spent hours on trying to solve this situation, I want to print over WIFI and it used to work great.
Could the modem be faulty? Could the printer be faulty? Is it a setting?
    How do I fix this?
    Please help.

    Hello Tommotom,
Welcome to the HP Support Forums!
I see that you are having issues with the B110a and your iPhone when trying to print since changing your modem / router. I don't think there is an issue with the printer, iPhone or router, some settings may just need to be adjusted.
I see that the new router is a dual band router. You want to make sure that the printer and iPhone are connecting to only the 2.4 Ghz portion of the router. The printer will only work with 2.4 Ghz, the iPhone on the other hand, can connect to either.
Apple devices pick up the printer signal via the Bonjour protocol, I have worked with routers in the past that will not constantly broadcast the Bonjour protocol, this would cause your described issue too. To check the router, use this App on the phone, suggested by Shirlzz1: Help Determine if your router can support AirPrint with the Bonjour Discovery App.
Lastly, for now, check to ensure that the ports on the router are all open to allow full printing ability, this post will show you the ports: Check the Anti-Virus for Blocked Ports and Timed Scans.
I look forward to hearing back from you.

  • Eprint simply does not work

the printer works, it's on my network, connected to internet. but when i try to send an email to the address (given me by hp when i added the printer  via the eprint page at hp) it says" message undeliverable".  i have tried this from a blackberry and from someone else's hp desktop. a number of times, like all day today.
windows 7 is on one of the desktops on the printer's network , vista on the other one. all units are hp ( except for the blackberry). the network is wired. the printer( bought yesterday) is officejet 6500a plus. all other components ( ie fax, copy scan print) work, just not the eprint.
have talked to hp tech support 3 times now...they have variously told me i need to pay to have them check it out( uhh i don't think i am paying for tech support for a printer i bought yesterday and have never even been able to use the eprint on ), given a link to "try to fix it yourself" since" it's a new product and all the techs haven't been trained in it" or just basically too bad, as far as we are concerned "it's working" (??????? so ummhumm why can't i get an email with it????)  have rebooted, checked all settings, done everything right on my end...hp just has majorly dropped the ball here.
the link they gave me is h41112.www4.hp.com/mobileapps/hp-iprint30-ios.html. but that is for a mobile app...it doesn't print from a desktop eithe so obviously it's not the mobile device that is the problem. the stupid eprint doesn't work.
anyone have any idea what recourse i have except to return the printer?

    jann1033 wrote:
1)the email i am using is the one i printed out on the paper from the eprint page.... it's typed in right, not sure if somehow eprint isn't recognizing it but it's the one they gave me. have checked that repeatedly
    2) none has been received, message sender gets= "the message can not be delivered".
3)nothing is wrong with the other email addresses, using them for yrs. working presently( not sure if that is what you are asking)
    4/5) nothing shows up period
    I'll try number 6
husband tried tech support again..now they say it has to be a wireless connection while the software( during installation) says it can be wired or wireless, just not usb. so not sure which is wrong, the software or the tech.
thanks for your interest. truthfully after reading the other basically similar problems i don't see a solution in the forseeable future. so guess i wasted the money on the printer for that aspect...oh well,I like the rest of it just wish they wouldn't hype and market something with so many  flaws. It reallly sours me on HP ...but I should have read the forums before I foolishly bought it( other positive reviews were older, when it first was announced). Usually i do, this purchase  my other printer died so i didn't have a lot of time to research.
    Jann1033:
Can you please tell us what printer you have?
I would suggest that you try the following:
    1. Remove web services from your device - this option is found in the web services menu, under the Wireless menu on some devices, or accessed from the ePrint icon on the home screen of the device (in the upper left-corner).
    2. Re-enable web services on your device (this option is found in the same place as the Remove option) - this will generate a new email address and claiming code for your printer.
    3. Please use that new claiming code (the portion of your new printer email address to the left of the @ sign) to add your printer to your ePrintCenter account.
    4. Verify that your printer shows connected on ePrintCenter
    5. Send an email to your printer's new email address
    After sending the email:
    1. Verify if you receive a confirmation email back from ePrintCenter confirming receipt of your email
    2. Verify if your ePrint job shows up in your job queue on ePrintCenter, and what status message shows for the ePrint job
Thanks for your assistance - I hope we can resolve this issue soon.

  • Eprint setup is not working

hi, i am trying to set up my new hp 8600 officejet. i am having  a very hard time setting eprint: whatever printer code was printer does not work. It says"invalid code". What can be done to sucessfully setup printing from a mobile device? Thanks!

It sounds like your code might have expired.
Press the ePrint button in the top left hand corner of the screen on the printer. Once there, go into "Settings" and scroll down until you see "Remove Web Services". After web services has been removed, it will take you back to the home screen. Press the ePrint button again and it will ask you if you want to enable web services. After you enable web services, it will print off a new printer code for you. This one should be different than the last one and this one should work for you.

I setup the online account and was provided with email to use with the printer. Then, I added 6 email addresses that were valid senders. When emaila are sent, no verification email is sent back and nothing prints or shows up in the actiitylg for that printer.  I attempted to send in various ways from multiple systems including Outlook 2010 and iPhone...and it still did not work.  Email address provided was[text removed for privacy]   How can I get HP support to help me find out why this is not working?  Thanks!

Okay, so some are working, that is good
The one I sent from from Outlook, so it is not a general Outlook issue. But, could be related to your Outlook settings or the account Outlook is using to send the email. The problem I have is understanding how when you send, you are not getting the verification that you sent. Be SURE the email address you are using in Out look is right. Best way to do that is copy and paste it from a source you know is working. Something as simple as an extra space can mess up an email address.....
Other than that, it would be nice if someone from HP would chime in.... I got a question from yesterday and they have not responded yet ether......I have had the printer since Sunday, so my knowledge is pretty limited

Reinstall the software using the CD that came with the printer, or download and install the latest version of the software for your printer from the HP web site (recommended):
Click here to go to the HP Printer Install Wizard download page.
Follow the directions to download and run the HP Printer Install Wizard.
Follow the onscreen instructions to download the printer software for your version of Windows.
The HP Printer Install Wizard downloads and starts the software installation.

Follow the onscreen instructions, making sure to proceed all the way through the installation without canceling or exiting any screen.
    Note
Do not connect the USB cable until you are prompted, or an install error may occur. Also, if your software is still not finding your printer over the USB connection, review the following USB tips.
    + USB tips
Ensure that your USB cable is no more than 5 meters (16.4 feet) in length. (For best results, use a cable that is less than 2 meters (6 feet) in length.)
Try connecting the USB cable to a different USB connector on the computer. (For example, if you plugged the cable into a front USB port, try plugging it into a port in the back.)
If the USB cable is connected to a USB hub or a docking station for a laptop, it could cause the installation to fail. Even if you believe that your USB hub works fine, try connecting the USB cable directly to the computer during the device installation (when prompted). You can always move it back to the USB hub later.
If you need to use a USB hub, use one that is externally powered instead of using a non-powered hub.
When the installation completes, try using your printer.
    Turn your printer on.
If you are using a USB connection, disconnect the USB cable from both your printer and computer (if it is currently connected).
Reinstall the software using the CD that came with the printer, or download and install the latest version of the software for your printer from the HP web site (recommended):
Click here to go to the HP Support & Drivers web page.
Select the option to download drivers and software, and then type the name of your printer in the search box.
For example, type HP Photosmart B211.
Follow the prompts and make selections to display the software and drivers for your printer.
When prompted, select the appropriate version of Windows, to view the driver download and CD ordering options.
    Tip
If you're not sure whether your operating system is 32-bit or 64-bit, click the Is the Windows version on my computer 32-bit or 64-bit? link on the page for help.
If given a choice, select the full feature software and drivers link.
This option may appear in an area labeled Drivers.
When prompted, click Save, and download the software to your desktop or a folder where you can easily find it.
Start the HP software installation by running the install program that you downloaded.
Follow the onscreen instructions, making sure to proceed all the way through the installation without canceling or exiting any screen.
    Note
Some printer models require a USB connection during the install. If you are prompted by the software, connect the USB cable. Do not connect the USB cable until you are prompted, or an install error may occur. Also, if your software is still not finding your printer over the USB connection, review the following tips.
