My FaceTime icon in dock is not showing when and how many calls I have missed (similar to the email system where it shows how many emails (on the stamp icon) have been received
My Face Time icon in dock does not show how many calls I have missed. It should show the number similar to the email system(a red number appears on the stamp icon). How can I rectify this problem?

When I download an app from the App Store, it jus shows "waiting" and doesn't download as it used to do earlier... Then after a day or 2 the app is downloaded... I dunno wuz d problem, can someone help me
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, restart the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
You can also try deleting the waiting icons - tap and hold down on an icon until it wiggles - the tap the X on the icon to delete it. Then try to download again.
You can try resetting all settings. Settings>General>Reset>Reset All Settings. You will have to enter all of your app preferences and device settings again. -
whenevenr I call a person sometimes the phone gives me an option of callback and end when I press the callback button the whole screen goes blank and only the upper Taskbar where it shows network provider , time and battery percentage is shown
Standard troubleshooting...
Try a reset by pressing the home and sleep buttons until you see the Apple logo, ignoring the slider if, it comes up. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings.
Remove all apps from Recently Used list...
- From any Home Screen, double tap the home button to bring up the Recents List
- Tap and hold any icon in this list until they wiggle
- Press the red (-) to delete all apps from this list.
- Press the home button twice when done.
If still a problem restore with your backup.
If still a problem restore as new, i.e. without your backup. See how it runs with nothing synced to it.
If still a problem, it's likely a hardware issue. -

I am about to go get my 4th iphone 4s since November! Up in the left corner where it shows your signal strength, it goes into searching mode and stays there. Kills my battery. While in searching, no calls can be made/recieved, no internet, etc. This one has lasted the longest-I got it December 23. Any ideas out there?
Both. The first two, I did use my itunes. The guy at the apple store said that could be the problem. The last time they gave me a new phone and SIM card, and the tech said it wouldnt be the itunes. Just to be safe, I never connected this phone to the itunes until last night-after it started searching- to save everything since I'm sure they will be replacing the phone today. But hey, thanks for the suggestions. I'm about at my wits end with Apple!! Especially since i added a third line to my account just so I could get an iphone back.

How do I download the operating system ios 5 to my iphone 4s. The ios 6 will not let me use my bluetooth in my car.
The only iOS currently available is iOS 6.0.1 (6.0.2 for iPhone 5). Once you upgrade you cannot downgrade. Contact your car maker for help.

Unplug it and let unit go dead. Then hold your Home button down and plug the USB power cord back in. iTunes should see it and then restore.

all of sudden comcast and facebook pages do not load when i try to access them on my mac. all other websites are fine. any one out there having the same issue?
That's just not right - I mean, it really wrong to have to use a Windows machine to access your Facebook account. Can you pull up Comcast on IE as well?
Something's going on and I'm surprised that deleting your cache and cookies for those sites didn't work.

The system prefrences icon in dock,when i click on it ,does not open and deos not jump up and down ,like the other icons.In fact i can not open the sys.pref. in any other place either.The only way i can open it up ,is ,if i restart the computer and then when i click on it , it will spring jump and then open.

FaceTime on Mac (Yosemite) does not connect when calling an IOS device

Since my upgrade with Yosemite, I seem to be having issues with FaceTime (video/audio) calling iOS Devices. iMessage works just fine with Yosemite. But when i attempt to call the other party via FaceTime, i could hear it ring but cannot connect. Anybody else who has the same issue and does anybody know how to fix it? It would seem to be a Yosemite issue, because when i tried using my iPad and iPhone to call via FaceTime, it works just fine using the same Apple Id i used for the Macbook Pro (Mid 2010). But when I use my Mac to call the iPhone.. It rings but it does not connect.. I hope they fix this with the next update..For the ones who are interested: the problem has been "solved".
Solution: none. I found out that the iPhone 4 from my girlfriend caused the problem. The iPhone made it impossible to FaceTime to each other from iPhone <> MacBook Pro. I think it's because the discontinued iOS support for the iPhone 4.
Since she has the iPhone 6 FaceTime now works wonderful without any problem. -
