My husband updated his phone and i synced my phone. Now his apps and music load to my phone. Even my itunes login is on his phone now :
Hopefully someone can shed some light to this confused iphone/itunes user. I'm not a super smart person when it comes to programs, so please keep it simple for me. Step by step would be great!! I updated my iphone 4 in October 2011, my husband however, just did his. Mine went smoothly with no problems. After he updated his last week, ALL his music, apps, podcasts and videos were gone. I then plugged my phone in to sync and all his stuff started downloading to my phone. Yikes!! We do each have our own itunes log in accounts, but I beleive he updated his phone while itunes was logged in to my user name. It gets better....now he can't purchase or update ANYTHING from his phone. His user name no longer works. It shows my login and he has to enter my password. I did go the website earlier to try to create a seperate library with all of his apps and music on it. So that he could log on there and have only his music and such. Now when I start Itunes its all his stuff. Ahhh!!! Do I have to completely start over and lose all my photos, music and contacts from my phone? Please help!! I will try to be patient with who ever is willing to help but my husband is SUPER frustrated and so am I. Thanks!!! Hopefully I gave enough details
you can
1. go into settings->itunes & app stores click on the unwanted appleID and logout
2. go into settings and disable iMessage but it would still result in you not being able to facetime eachother as the appleID is the general handle and is meant to be 1 for each person

When i try to open week cal it loads and then closes after a few seconds...I have checked for updates, turned the phone off then on, closed out of the app and then opened it again...nothing works! To reset, press and hold the Home and power buttons until the silver apple appears.
I would delete the app, reset the phone and then download the app again. Your calendar information should be stored on the phone as Week Cal uses the Calendar app information.

I am unable to update my IPhone 4 to the IOS 6. I managed to back up and transfer and then when it asked to update I said yes and the sync process started, left it overnight and it came up with an error if continue you will loose all your data. So stopped! Help!
Are you currently on ios 4? If so that's where the backup comes in. You'll need to restore your backup once the software is updated.

omg phone frozen during sync, will not turn back on and itunes wants me to restore but unsure if all my precious photos etc have been saved and if so where they are?? I cannot turn phone back on its frozen with itunes icon picture on screen!! help
Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything...
To minimise loss... Connect to iTunes on the computer you Usually Sync with and Restore from the most recent Backup...

You should be importing all pics taken with the iphone to your computer regularly as you would any digital camera. this is covered in the manual.

You should transfer all itunes purchases from the iphone to the computer: File>Transfer Purchases. -
How do I turn off the feature that allows the duplication of App downloads to more than one phone? As in my wife downloads an app and I get a dulpicate download on my phone.
To disable that feature it will depend on whether or not you sync everything in the cloud using Apple's iCloud, OR if you both use the same desktop/laptop computer with iTunes. I have iPhone4. It has been working fine. I have not rebooted my phone lately, so I just deleted a few apps and thought I would do a soft reboot. I held down sleep button and home button. my phone keep asking me to sign in to iTunes store and will not allow me to download apps. it sends a message saying "Cannot connect to itunes store" what do i do?
Remember, any purchased item from the itunes store is forever associated with the Apple ID used to buy it. So when you get prompted for an ID/password and it doesn't accept it, then you are using the wrong ID.
Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores, be sure it's logged into the ID you have set on the iphone (since that one seems to be connecting with the right ID). If you've done this, then you might wait a bit to see if the "cannot connect to .. store" message has to do with internet connections. -
Hey you all, I have recently updated me iPhone 5 to iOS 7.1 and I checked my reminders built in app, and it seems like everything I had in there was lost. I have tried many things, but none seems to work. I can no longer add in any remainders.
Have you failed to regularly backup the device to iTunes or iCloud? If so, the data is gone.
If there are backups, restore the most current one from prior to the data disappearing. -
I just got a new computer. I have downloaded ITunes and authorized it. It shows my apps and music, but says something about "downloading all". Do I have to download everythingon to this new computer or is it already in there? I also have an iPad that I need to sync. Is there anything special I need to do with the new computer before syncing the iPad?

Once authorized to your iTunes account you can control the computer.
When syncing the iPad the first time you will get the warning " this iPad is synced with another computer, syncing will erase all contents and replace with the contents of this computer"

we are using same laptop with my wife for our 2 iphones and when sincronizing, she's getting my apps and is requested for my apple id and password when getting a new app on her device. How can i fix that issue?

You can change the Apple ID used for purchasing on her phone by going to Settings>Store>Apple ID, tap the ID shown, sign out, sign back in using her Apple ID. However, be aware that if she has any apps on her phone purchased with your Apple ID she will still be prompted to enter the password associated with this ID for all future updates of these apps.
