What should I do?

Perhaps you could try using another cable if you have one available. There may be a problem with the one you are currently using. You could also try another wall socket as well and maybe your power adapter is bad. It could be any of these things.
Your computer more than likely doesn't supply enough power to charge the iPad battery and that is to be expected when trying to charge that way.
Sometimes something as simple as restarting or resetting can help fix things that suddenly go awry with the iPad so you could try those as well.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
If none of these things help it may be time to restore the device.

So i charged my phone, plugged it into the computer and wall , and i've held the home and lock screen for several seconds and it still wont turn on what's wrong?

Can anyone help - my mail on my ipad will not connect to the server. My internet access is fine. How can I get my email to connect to the server?

My ipad will not connect tot he server when trying to access my mail. This has been happening since last Sunday. Some have said it is due to the latest software update. I am able to connect to the internet.
I am not having this issue on iPhone.
I checked all the settings, the wireless router in my house and at work.
I have completed a hard reset of the device.
I had our IT guy at work look at it.
He said to contact Apple....

Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

If there are problems with updating then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

A lot of computers (especially older ones) generally do not provide enough power to their USB ports to charge the iPad at a sufficient rate - it may still be charging slowly, and should be a bit quicker if the iPad's screen is off (if you leave it for a while and then disconnect it from your computer you may find that it's battery percentage has gone up). The USB port on your computer does not provide enough power oto charge your iPad. This is normal. Charge it by plugging into a wall outlet.

This must be due to some kind of degredation of the Ipod. . It is not fixed by IOS resets as others have noted.

Any photos in your camera roll, not previously imported to your computer, you will lose. You should be regularly importing these photos, as the iPhone's camera roll is not designed as a storage device.
Had you been regularly syncing/backing up, you wouldn't lose anything. Now you know, don't backup your data, and you will eventually lose it all, guaranteed.

You have to restore the device within iTunes. You want to use the same computer that you always sync with so that you can restore your app data and settings. You can restore with any other computer, but you will lose everything on the iPad.
