My ipad will send pictures to my laptop, but my laptop won't send pictures to my ipad, why is this?

i have recent download icloud and it works perfectly if i want to send pictures from my ipad to my laptop (which is windows 7) however my laptop won't send the pictures to my ipad, how can i solve this problem?

It sounds like you are not able to see your iPad in iTunes so you cannot sync it anymore to this one computer, but the other computer recognizes it without issue. I would use the following article to help resolve the issue with iTunes on the computer:

If you have connected to other wi-fi successfully, then your wi-fi should be working. Try power cycling the router. Disconnect it from power for about 30 seconds and then restart it. After it has come back, try connecting again.

I use to automatically have my picture messages downloaded, but lately they won't download at all how can I fix this

When my contacts use to send me picture messages they use to automatically download or if not when I hit download they downloaded,but lately they won't download. How can I fix this? I have a samsung galaxy legend.

Cannot see all of iTunes library on my iPad, why might this be?

I have set up home sharing on my Macbook Pro running iTunes11 and have also set up sharing on my iPad (4th Gen). Both machines are on the same home WiFi network and operate ok.
The problem is that the iPad is only showing some of the albums and those that it shows have either the wrong album artwork or none at all. The Library on the MacBook Pro shows the correct artwork. Why is this happening and can anybody help me sort this out please?

Sometimes it helps to switch off home sharing on both machines so it can refresh itself when you turn it on again
Happened between two iMacs for me.
The other thing I noticed recenltly is If I have the Column browser showing in the Itunes Mac and I have restricted what i want to get to . This can affect what I see in the Home Share

I uploaded a song from GarageBand (originally on ipad) to the iCloud. It will show up on my iPhone, but now it won't show up on my iPad. HELP

This has happened to many of my HIGHLY important songs. Because GarageBand loves to screw up songs, I decided to "Upload them to iCloud" Now, for a brief time, the song was still on the iPad. When I open the song up in my iPhone, the iPad version has a green arrow at the top as if it were updating. Now normal songs have a little picture of where you left off. Now it's just a grey guitar, and it is also stuck in "Updating 1 song" mode, which has been there for weeks. It will NOT allow me to open the song in iPad but it is fine for the iPhone. Also, when I select "Remove song from iCloud" in an effort to bring it back on the iPad, it just deletes the song completely off the iPad (which ironically I made on there) And then when I reupload the song to iCloud, it comes back, but i still can't open it. Please don't tell me "just finish it on your iPhone" I want to finish it on the iPad because I like doing it there better. This is EXTREMELY making me upset. I've tried deleting as much unneeded data to make space as possible but to no avail. Please someone, just help me. I have to have these songs back. I don't have time to completely remake them. Also, when updates come, they don't fix it either.
PS. The only solution I have come up with is, I've noticed that the songs raw files are in .band which work on both the iPad and iPhone. However, some raw files have a .png name at the end. Those don't work on the iPad. Isn't PNG only for pictures?

It sounds like your iPad is not showing in Find my iPad when you check it. Take a look at this info from the following article named:

Device does not appear in Find My iPhone
This can occur if:
The date on your device (iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch) is incorrect. Choose Settings > General > Date & Time to check and set the date.
Your device is not up-to-date. It needs to be running iOS 5 or later.
Your iCloud account is not configured on your device. Choose Settings > iCloud and enter your iCloud account information.
You have multiple iCloud accounts entered on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch. Only one account can have Find My iPhone turned on at a given time. Log in to Find My iPhone with your other iCloud accounts until your device is listed.
There's a scheduled maintenance or another issue affecting Find My iPhone. Check the System Status site to see if this is the case.
Your device has lost network connectivity. If you have access to your device, and it appears to have an active Internet connection, enable and then disable Airplane mode. If you continue to have issues, turn the device off and back on.

HT1454 i connect my iPad to my tv with hdmi cable but the surround sound from the receiver is not working why is this?

i want to play my ipad on through my tv and receiver to get surround sound (not using the tv speakers) I connect the htmi cable to my tv and ipad do i need more cable to get my surround sound to play the audio? i thought hdmi did it all.

if you have a 6th or 7th gen classic, you'll have a have the video out cable from apple. only the 5th gen will play with a generic 3 connector video out cable.

I can't install netflix in the iPad, why is this?

Make sure that you are signed into your iTunes account or that you are using the correct account on the iPad - Settings>Store>Sign in
Make sure that you do not restrictions enabled for downloading apps - Settings>General>Restrictions>On
If those things check out - try quitting the App Store and restarting the iPad.
In order to quit or close apps - Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by double tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

Sorry to hear you are having issues downloading songs you have purchased to your iPad mini.
One thing I would suggest is to transfer your purchased content from the iPhone to your computer. Then you can re-sync your iPad Mini to your iTunes Library on the computer.
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
If you want to transfer iTunes Store purchases from an iOS device or iPod to a computer, be sure to authorize the computer before connecting the device. After connecting your device to the computer and its icon appears in iTunes, go to the File menu, then Devices, and choose Transfer Purchases from "(Your device name)".
Or, you can Show Sidebar from the View menu, and then right-click (Windows or Mac) or Control-click (Mac only) your device in the iTunes Source list, then choose Transfer Purchases from the shortcut menu that appears.
Please note that this feature works only for items that were purchased on the iTunes Store. Any items imported from audio CDs or acquired from other sources will not copy from your device to the iTunes library. Please see this article for more details.
Next, I would Reset the iPad Mini:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
Then follow the instructions below:

If you haven't been able to connect to the iTunes Store:

Try resetting (turning off and then on again) your Wi-Fi router
If the issue still persists see, iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections or iOS: Troubleshooting Wi-Fi networks and connections.
Note: All iPhone, and iPod touch models support 802.11b/g Wi-Fi networks. In addition, iPhone 4, and iPod touch (4th generation) support 802.11n Wi-Fi networks (2.4 GHz only).

Been unable to load pictures to Facebook or attach pictures to emails. Why is this?

I have been unable to send photo's as email attachments for days now. Just tried to load pictures to Facebook as an alternative and it crashes. Is this an ongoing issue? have installed earlier version of Firefox but have same issues. This has in effect closed me down!!!!! I can't upload pictures to any site so I can't carry on my business. Need a solution and QUICK!!!!!!!

Laptop won't turn on!!! why?

Here we go again!! Gateway laptop, 6 months old... was a trade because they had to " JUNK" my other one that was only 8 months old! gosh!
WELL ... I closed the laptop this afternoon, unplugged it... put it in the other room until dinner was done. Went to get the laptop, plugged it in. and nothing!!!! absolutely nothing but a little orange/red light that looks like a batter with a lightning bolt thru it. I clicked the "ON" button, and still nothing. checked all the connections nothing... after a few mins that light turned blue. I thought that was a good sign, but still NOTHING! No fan, no LED'S lit up. Nothing! Help!

Try this:
1. Unplug the laptop from the AC adapter.
2. Remove the battery from the laptop.
3. Press and hold the power button for about 2 seconds. Do this about 3-4 times.
4. Plug the AC adapter back into the laptop and into an electrical outlet.
If it powers on, then your laptop is most likely fine. Just re-insert the battery and make sure it is detected and charging in Windows on it is powered on.
I DO NOT work for Best Buy. Whatever I post are just educated guesses or common sense.

Trying to send vid clip results in "file too large". Yet friends can send me clips larger. Why is this?

I cannot send video clips I have taken to friends. I get "File too large". Yet friends seem to be able to send ME larger clips from their phones.
Do they have some app or something that zips or compresses files automatically?

Try reproducing the issue in Windows safe mode with Networking.... I think the guess of a synchronization issue was correct. I just think the blame finger went to the wrong place. Windows safe mode should confirm my guess... Or prove me wrong
Note that i can move messages in imap to live from junk to inbox and they are not corrupt.

I have been trying to send files (pdf mostly) through a dropbox server. Every time I try to, they send with zero bytes. Why is this? I have no idea on how to fix it!

After updating to 3.6.7, Firefox will not start on my Mac. Happened also with the last update. Is anyone else having this problem? I'm running updated OX 10.6.4 on an i7.

Last time (a few weeks ago) I had to uninstall firefox and reinstall it. Today I moved the last version to the trash and reinstalled the new version, but it still won't work. I obviously can't do this every time there is a new update. When I click on firefox, the icon bounces in the dock (like it's trying to open), and then nothing happens.

Same issue - however firefox will open but I can not click on only of my tool bar shortcuts - the writing on the google age is greyed out so I can not click on anything. Still no resolution? I have deleted the folders and re-installed - it will open and then locks and it will not work????
