My ipad2 is turned on but displays nothing it just shows a blank screen like as though its turned off but it isn't
my ipad2 screen does not display anything. I've tried reseting it and it worked the first 2 times after that it just says on my itunes ipad is in recovery..... and then it comes out with the same result no screen display. Its like as though its turned off but its not. what do I do.I threw away the receipt and box so sending it back to apple can be checked off the list any ideas as to how to fix this will be very much appreciated.AGAIN I EMPHASIZE I HAVE TRIED RESETING IT COUNTLESS TIMES THAT IS HOLDING DOWN THE HOME BUTTON AND ON AND OFF BUTTON SIMULTANEOUSLY.
If a Reset is not working for you... Then...
Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.
3: If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try using the steps in this article to force the device into recovery mode.

IMac 11.3 as second display in Maverick, just shows a black screen
I'm trying to reuse my iMac 11.3 mid 2010 (ATI HD 5750) as second display for my MacPro 1.1 (ATI HD5770 + 24" Cinema) through a mini display cable. This used to work fine in 10.8. Now both computers are upgraded to 10.9 and iMac only shows a black screen when pressing Cmd+F2 on the iMac.
Any hints appreciated besides this is only supported for +2011 modelsYes I agree it is something wrong with Safari, but WHAT?
I have two macs sitting beside each other, both running Safari pointed at a .pdf file; one runs adobe just fine, the other shows black.
No amount of pawing through the Preferences tree shows me anything remotely relevant. -
Reluctantly tried Firefox Refresh. Step #3 says "3.Firefox will close to refresh itself. When finished, a window will list your imported information. Click Finish and Firefox will open."
I never got that window. Firefox re-opened after about 20 minutes with a blank screen. I waited some more, but nothing. At first it didn't seem to be responding to mouse clicks or keyboard entry, but after a couple more minutes, I was able to click on the menus or Firefox button and get a response.
When I look under Firefox profiles (folder), I see my original profile folder with a dash after default and then a number added at the end (xxxxx.default-zzzzz). It is still my only profile folder. I thought Refresh was supposed to create a new profile folder.
All of my bookmarks are missing.Hello there,
This may be caused by the large amount of visited sites and as a result this can slow down Firefox
Can you please try to clean your browsing history and cookies by doing the following:
1. Click the menu button, choose "History", and then "Clear Recent History"
2. Select how much history you want to clear ( Everything is recommended)
3. Finally, click the "Clear Now" button.
If none of the above work then I would suggest to reinstall Firefox and see if that solves the issue.
Keep us posted! -

Personally, I would call Apple back. However...
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here. -

Just to make certain, you inserted the original installation disk and started the MBP holding down the C key? Did the Optical drive reject the disk or did it just spin? If the former, the lens in the drive may be dirty and needs to be cleaned. If the latter, you will have to take it to an Apple repair facility.

My Ipad2 is turning off all Icloud settings and asking for password every minute
Hi,
My Ipad2 is turning off all my icloud settings by itself and asking for the password every minute. After about an hour it works again but only for a few days and starts turning off the settings again.
This started about 3 weeks ago an even when it starts working again for a few days there are still some photos and contacts missing. But on my IPhone and on icloud.com everything is fine.
Has anyone an idea what is happening?Hi,
Thanks for the tip. I deleted the Account and at least everything is back on my ipad. But it was asking for the password a few times since then.
But if it stops turning off all my settings i could live with putting in the password every hour...
I will see if it stops deleting and turning off. -
MY IPAD2 WAS TURNED OFF BATTRY 50% AND CANNOT START AGAIN ?
my ipad2 was turned off, the battry was 50% and cannot start again even if I put se AC link the screen still black
do you know this problem?Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I have just installed snow leopard on my Mac Pro (v10.5.8) on trying to shut down on the apple menu it doesn't completely turn off computer, I just get a blank screen but the curser is still live and I have to hold down the power button to force a shut down.
Try quitting all applications before shutting down. One may be hanging and preventing a normal shutdown.

App Store says there is one update available. But the Updates page shows a blank screen. Have tried syncing with iTunes on mac as well. But nothing seems to work. Am using Iphone 5 6.1.4. Help
Next time that happens while on WiFi, turn WiFi off in settings, wait about 30 seconds or so, then turn WiFi back on. Sometimes you have to do this two or three times, but this fixes that issue as well.

Hi, my Macbook doesn't turn on, it just show a white screen and after a while a big question mark blinks but nothing else, cannot click the question mark, cannot do anything. Also it makes a funny noise. Any suggestions?
Suppose it's a HDD crash. Boot from Install DVD which came with your MacBook(Press C during startup) and open DiskUtility to repair your HDD if it's able to mount.

Re-installed iTunes 64bit (still get the same issue)
Restarted firewall, added apple.com etc.
I have created a new user profile to no vail.
Still the same issue. I can access using my iPodI am having the same problem ever since I upgraded. Have received four emails from Apple support on the

on my iPhone 4, I can't get mail. THere is a blank screen, like it's stuck. I can see the "pad/pencil" in the lower right corner to start a new message, but that's it.
Any ideas?Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.
Try deleting and re-adding the account to the Phone. -
My ipod touch is showing a blank screen but i can still hear, how can i fix that
My Ipod toush is showing a blank screen but i can still hear, how can I fix that?
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restore from backup. See:
iOS: How to back up
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
