My iphone 4 was updated to iOS 5, after update it heat up when you run application and when you call and touchscreen is not working well.
Can someone please help me to trouble shoot my iPhone 4, where I have updated to iOS 5, and after the update, it started to heat when you run an application, make a call and the touch screen really got so crazy especially on the right part of the screen. It really upsets me updating it to iOS 5. Please I need support on this. Thank you.
in your iTunes go to Store>Sign out ; then go to Store>Log in and log in under your old Apple ID
Sync while logged on under the old ID, and everything purchased under that ID will sync.

iPhone 3GS, iOS 6Your iPhone was "unofficially" unlocked by some means to work with a different carrier. Now that you have updated it has relocked to the original carrier. If you do not know who the original carrier was you will need to call AppleCare and give them the model and serial number of your iPhone. Then you will need to contact that carrier to see if they have a process to unlock the phone and if you qualify.

After I upgraded to IOS 8 my iPhone is not working well at all .. the most serious issue is the wifi which is too slow and can't connect to apple store and can't update my application .. also tried to search or update for ios 8 but also can't connect . safari also always can't connect to any the server . please check and advise

I updated my iPhone 4 over wifi and it went through the process fine, until it switched back on and now refusese to recognize my sim card!
Any ideas?Usually this means the phone was previously jailbroken or hacked to unlock it from the carrier it was locked to, and the update re-locked it to that carrier.

I am signed into the App Store on my iphone 4 and one of my apps need updating and my brother is signed into it because I didn't have any credit to make an ID so he signed in so I could download apps but its like its locked to his Apple ID I have tried signing out and turning my phone off its just not working please help.
Apps are locked to the Apple ID that was used to download them. You will have to sign in as your brother in order to update it.

My passcode requirement was turned off prior to updating to iOS 7.
It is now requiring my Passcode, but I cannot remember it! And computer won't let me synch because "Find My iPad" app is turned on, which I obviously cannot turn off without getting into iPad Settings.

So what happened to the phone during the process? It should have gone black and restarted a couple of times and there would have been a white progress bar as the update installed. Sounds to me like you've downloaded the update file but not actually installed it. The quickest way to see version of the software is installed is to go to Settings-General-About and check Version.
