Take it in to Apple and see if they will replace it under warranty... only they can make that decision. IMO, it sounds as if it should be a warranty replacement, assuming there's no user damage.

It just means that you want to reset it for some technical reason by holding down the lock and home button for a few seconds till it shuts downs and the apple logo pops up which then you let go. Note: nothing on your phone will be deleted.

this could be a battery problem , you should go to the nearest apple retail store and have them check tha battery or it coulb be that the iphone is in a cover or case that is making it hot

Nano crashes after I apply light pressure to the screen

This is an easily repeatable occurance, too. All I have to do is lightly touch the screen (closer to the top of the screen is where it seems to be most sensitive), and my nano immediately crashes. I've looked pretty far and wide on the net and cannot find anyone with this same problem. It's frustrating, since I can't put my ipod in my pocket when I go running anymore. It immediatly shuts off when I take my first step!
Have any of you heard of this problem?

Thanking you so much to be interested about my answer but what I figured out is as long as you bought your iPhone from gulf or Arabian area it will not has face time application cause I think apple has made special software for Arabian areana to privent facetime according to special request by phone cells companies and one of my friends has told me if you want to make sure that your iPhone not for Arabian areana you should check the model number on your iPhone backside if it ends with 29 it means it's for Arabian countries if other numbers it's gonna be for US. Or Hongkong so it's ok

Got an iPhone 4 yesterday and cannot add events in calendar. There is no + button and have searched in settings but cannot see how to do it.

Did you try updating the firmware or resetting all settings
at: Settings -> General -> Reset -> Reset all settings?
It will not remove any data, just settings and things like ring tones etc

Can I cancel iPhone sign in to iCloud prompt by back up and restore

I am left with a useless iphone stuck at the icloud sign in prompt. The prompt will not cancel or abort with a total shutdown. I am also on holiday out of the country and have no ready backup from which to restore. I do not use iCloud ever and the email address that displays has no affiliated icloud password. I activated iCloud many email addresses ago by mistake and have no idea what password may have been used. I am also deadly afraid to mess around with my existing email accounts (delete or modify) for fear of iCloud messing them up even more ( lost all my contacts and calendar at that time). If I backup my iPhone to iTunes and then restore, will the prompt be shut down?

I don't think you have any choice now. You can always delete the iCloud account after doing so and not use it.

Go to System Preferences -> Sound -> Output.

TS1574 you should mention that the audio output jack is fleaky, try plugging and unplugging until red light goes off !!!

It should be mentionned in the Apple help that the audio output jack is sometimes fleaky, as it does not reclose the speakers contacts correctly when an earphone jack is removed. This can be checked by looking into the computer audio jack and seeing a red light, which confirms the optic output is active. Plugging and unplugging the jack until the red light disapears is the cure, unless you are unfortunate enough to have a broken audio jack. Good luck !

Same here. I don't remember doing anything out of the ordinary. I was working in Parallels on getting a AM station to stream via some web interface. Next time I went to play sound on the internal speakers, no go.
I've tried zapping the PRAM, toggling the headphone jack and the toothpick thing. Nothing seems to work.
I've also noticed that I get sound in my headphones in iTunes but not in Garageband (someone had suggested that starting up Garageband would reset things.
Any other ideas out there?
Is there a file that could get corrupted that I could switch out of my back up?
