My iphone wont turn on and when it does it is only for a bit then goes glitchy?
my iphone started going glitchy when i went on the camera but i didnt worry about it, then my flashg wouldnt work when it was on but then it started working again. and then my whole phone just started shutting offf and when i restarted it the apple that shows up is all glitchy and im trying to restore my phone thinking it has to do with the software but it says unknown error and wont restore it ? please help
try and reset network settings... settings-> general-> reset-> reset network settings
or update to 4.3.3
if those do not work I would restore

hi i have an iphone 5 and when i have it unpluged it wont turn on and when it is pluged in to my mac or apple charger it just boots up to the apple logo than it turns off and restarts to the apple logo again and it just keeps doing that and ive tryed to reset it but i go and error message can someone please help

As far as trying to power up your device, make sure it has a good charge and then hold the button on the top of the phone and the home button on the faceplate together until the apple appears on the screen.

I want to let you know to be patient as this troubleshooting can take some time depending on many different. First try putting your iPhone into recovery mode and then use iTunes to restore it. To do that, you can that by making sure that your iPhone is turned off, hold the Home button down while it is plugged into iTunes. You should get the graphic on your iPhone to plug it into iTunes and iTunes should prompt you to restore it. Once that is done and if you have a back up in iTunes or in iCloud, then you can put that back on after the restore is complete. Take a look at the article below for more information to help you.

These errors typically occur when security software interferes with the restore and update process. Use the steps to troubleshoot security software issues to resolve this issue. In rare cases, these errors may be a hardware issue. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
Also, check your hosts file to verify that it's not blocking iTunes from communicating with the update server. See the steps under the heading "Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > Mac OS X > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store." If you have software used to perform unauthorized modifications to the iOS device, uninstall this software prior to editing the hosts file to prevent that software from automatically modifying the hosts file again on restart.

My iphone wont turn on and its constantly vibrating
just over a week ago my iphone screen turned black and started vibrating...
when it stopped i plugged it into the charger, and it started vibrating again, i'm not sure what is wrong, i have looked at the things that have helped this such as trying to restart the phone by holding the lock/sleep button and the home button... it just hasn't worked for me
i also tried plugging it into the computer through the usb cable but itunes didnt reconise the device.
if anyone could let me know how to fix it i would really apreciate it.You make an appointment at the genius bar of your local Apple Store and get it serviced/replaced. You broke it. If you can't even force a reboot, there's nothing much more you can do.

If your power button is broken, there's not much you can do. You could go to an Apple store & do an out of warranty exchange...Apple doesn't fix iPhones, they replace them. But, I wouldn't recommend doing so, as the iPhone 3G was discontinued almost three years ago & won't run most apps in the app store.
You'd be better served by selling it for parts & using the money to purchase a new phone. -

My iPhone 5c has suddenly turned off and went blank. I then tried to plug it up to the computer to restore it but i cant because my phone has a password on it and i CANT TYPE IT IN. Also when i plugged it up it started vibrating again and again constantly. What should i do?
It is probably still worth while taking it to an Apple store for a possible OOW replacement and let them make the decision, as it was broken before the OP took the back off.

- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

hey guys, i own an iphone 4 and yesterday i went to check up my emails on ,my phone that was in the other room and was perfectly fine the whole entire day, i realized that my phone is off and i tried to turn it back on that shortly appeared to be unsecessful,
i hooked it up to my charger and shortly after the apple blinked it changed to that home screen but it was grey and says apple on it, it didnt recognize my SIM card i swipe it and it said to conect to ituns,
at first it didnt recognized it at all and the apple sign kept blinking, then i got it into recovery mode and i tried to restore my phone but after an hour it was hooked up to ituned a MSG appeared said that the restore cannot be maid on this iphone error 2006 and then i tried it again and it said error 2001,
i left it over night hooked up to itunes but the **** thing wont stop blinking,
and very important to mentiom - i didnt jail brake it !!! and its like 4 months old
how do i fix it ? please help me out !!!
