If for some reason you failed to maintain a backup copy of your computer ( not good), then you can redownlaod some itunes content in some countries:

Thanks in advance for any help. This really is important to me.A "1st Gen ipod" did not have photo capability, so it must be at least an iPod Photo (4th gen iPod) or later. The information I provide below applies, as long as your iPod is NOT an iPod touch.
The iPod's screen is quite small, so when you sync photos to it, iTunes converts them to a special format that reduces the resolution of the photo to fit the small screen. This saves storage space used on iPod. If you were to transfer the image back to your computer, the low resolution would make it look horribly pixilated when blown up to computer display size. I think there are third-party utilities that can convert and transfer the images files back to the computer, but there is no way to do it using iTunes.
If you used a specific setting when syncing the photos to the iPod, then you can retrieve them at the original resolution. The setting is on the Photos tab for the iPod, in iTunes when you select the iPod in the sidebar, under DEVICES. It is a checkbox that says Include full-resolution photos. If that setting was enabled when you synced the photos to the iPod, then you will be able to retrieve them at the original full resolution.
What you do is Enable disk use, which is a setting on the Summary tab. This makes the iPod's storage appear as a "disk" to the system. You can then use your computer's OS to open the iPod, like it was a flash drive, to find a folder called Photos folder inside. In that folder, you can find any full resolution image files that were previously synced, which you can copy to your computer's hard drive. But again, that Include full-resolution photos setting needed to be enabled at the time you synced the photos to the iPod. -

When you sync an IP with iTunes AND you have some purchased music that was downloaded directly to your IP, a box pops up asking if you want to transfer that data to your computer. The box clearly says if you don't, the music will be erased from your IP. As the previous poster states, I believe you can download the music again at no additional charge.

I want to upgrade my iOS 4 to 5 on my Ipod Touch but I no longer have the original computer I used to sync with so it keeps saying I will loose all of my apps and stuff on my new computer..... I backed my old iphone up to my computer and bought a new iphone. When i backed my new phone up I now I have an icloud photo (from my computer) album that I want to delete from my phone but I do not have the option. Please help.
If the album was synced to your phone from your computer, it can only be removed by sycing it off. To do this, deselect the folder on the Photos tab of your iTunes sync settings and sync.

I switched from an iPhone to an LG g2, but now all my iMessages keep going to my old iPhone rather than the new one. I know the resolution to the problem is to turn off my iMessage, but I no longer have the iPhone because I sold it to the phone carrier. Question is how do I turn my iMessage off through a computer that is not a mac.

My iCloud contacts is fine. The contacts in my iPhone are a mess. Tons of dupes, folks long deleted etc...How do I only have the contacts in iCloud sync to my iphone?
Download the free app My Contacts Backup. Go to Settings>iCloud, turn Contacts to Off, when prompted choose Delete from My iPhone. Check the contacts on your phone. If you have any left on your phone, launch My Contacts Backup, tap the gear shaped icon on the bottom right, scroll to the bottom and tap Remove All Contacts. When finished, go back to Settings>iCloud and turn Contacts back to On to sync the unduplicated contacts back to your phone from iCloud.
Also, be sure you aren't trying to sync your contacts with both iCloud and iTunes or you will get duplicates. -
Can anyone help with removing bonjour from my laptop so i can start again with itunes. All music gone from ipod,no idea why and itunes deleted all music from there too but won't let me uninstall bojour so cannot update itunes or even use it. Please help,only had ipod just over 1 year and am missing it. Thanks in the hope you can help me.

If i update my ipod will it delete all my music as it is from various computers?
I have a 32GB iPod touch and when I plug it into the computer, it says an update is available. I manually manage my music so that I can take music from my laptop and the other computers in my house as well. If I update my ipod to this newer version will all my music be deleted? If it does that I don't want to update because I have music on there from old computers which are no longer available. I have heard of similar problems happening to other people which is why i have this query.

If the photos were in your camera roll when you last backed up, restoring the backup should recover them. Restoring an iCloud backup requires first erasing your phone. If you have any newer data on your phone since the backup that you want to keep, you'll need to save that first. Then go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, go through the setup screens on the phone and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup. Sign into your iCloud account and choose your last backup to restore to.
Make sure you phone is connected to wifi and your charger as this may take some time to finish. -
My PC recently got a virus and wiped the hard drive. I used itunes for my ipod. I would like to know if the music i had on itunes is stored on my computer or on the net? So in other words can i still access my itunes from a different computer?
Your purchased music is availble for download again at no cost. If you have iTunes match service, you can download your matched music.

I no longer have the Snow leopard disks so I can't just reload the OS but I told the person I sold the MBP to that it has SL on it so I don't want to wipe it off. Is there a way to remove my personal info without resorting to reloading the software again?
Open Accounts preferences. Click on the lock icon to authenticate. Click on the Add [-] to create a new user account. Give the new account admin status. Set the account for auto-login then restart the computer. The computer should boot into the new user account. Open Accounts preferences, click on the lock icon to authenticate. Select your old account and click on the Delete [-] button. Select the third option to remove the user folder and also check the option to securely erase. If given the option to select the number of passes select one pass only. This should remove your data from any prying eyes.

i plugged my ipod in and i tried to play a song and a grey explanation mark showed up and it wouldn't play and when i looked at my ipod it didnt have any music on it, when before it had like more than 500 songs. but now everytime i plug it in all my music shows up but it wont play and it only says i dont have any music on my ipod. i really dont want to have to put ALL those songs back on and im hoping there is a way i can fix it.
