This issue can sometimes happen when you leave a field blank on the order form. Also, make sure that you're logged in to the Adobe store in the same country as your you credit card mailing address. (You can check by clicking Change Location in the lower-left corner of the adobe.com website.)

Most of the people on these forums, including myself, are fellow users - you're not talking to iTunes Support here. I've asked the hosts to change the title of your post as it appears to include the card number.
You've tried logging out and back into your account to see if the amount from it has been added to your account ? If it isn't then was the card complete when you bought it i.e. the part that you scratch off to uncover the code was still on the card ? If it was, and you've double-checked that you are entering the correct code, then try contacting iTunes Support (they might want images of the card and the receipt) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then iTunes Cards And Codes

ITunes card apparently already redeemed??

I have been given an iTunes music card as a gift and want to redeem it and buy some songs, but when I enter the code thats on the back of the card iTunes says this card has already been redeemed.
Does that mean someone else has already used all of the credit on my music card??

What exactly are you trying to do and what happens when you do it ?
If the card has been redeemed then its remaining amount should be on your account, the card itself is now effectively zero - you can't redeem a card twice. If you still have a balance on your account, you are buying for yourself (you can't use a balance for gifting) and it covers the price of the purchase (if you are in the US then you have to add on your state's sales tax to an item's listed price) then you should be able to buy items with it without needing further payment details.

You can view the purchase history on your account via your computer's iTunes : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases. Does anything show there that would account for the $20 ?

What happens when you try to do the IAP, are you getting any error messages ?
If you are also getting a message to contact iTunes Support then you will need to do so (these are user-to-user forums) :
- go to http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww
- click on your country's flag
- click on the Contact Support at the bottom of the left-hand column
- click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
- then Purchases, Billing & Redemption

It just means that the card has been redeemed - you can't see a list anywhere on an account a history of card redemptions on it.

Is the store that you bought the card from nearby so that you can try going back and asking if they can activate the card properly ?
