My mail inbox only shows about 10 days of mail. Need to search back a few months. How do I do that?
I am wanting to search for old mail from my inbox. Right now it only shows abut 2 weeks of recent mail.When I do a "mail search", I cant find what I am looking for. How do I have my inbox mail automatically show more that 2 weeks of the latest mail. I would like it to show a month or more.
There are a couple of things that could be deleting mail messages.
In Mac's Mail app click on the Mail > Preferences menu item. Now select your offending mail account from the Accounts list. Now click on Advanced. There is a setting to "remove copy from server after retrieving message." The Mail app will delete messages from your email service based on this setting. This will not delete messages from your computer.
If you are losing messages from your computer then click on Rules in Mail's Preferences, then check each "rule" to see if there is one that could be deleting messages. Click on the rule and then on Edit to see the rules criteria
Example of a rule that would delete messages:
If neither of these is your problem I suggest you check with Yahoo to see if there is a setting on their service that could be deleting messages.

There is no option in Mail to account for this, as described. Do you access this IMAP account from more than one computer or device? Do you have any Rules in operation?

Email inbox only shows items recieved today.
I have set up my Blueyonder email account on my E72 & can send & receive emails ok. the problem I have is that the Inbox only shows new email. By that I mean anything I have received (and read) prior to today do not appear. This is a pain when trying to reply to an email received 2 days ago as I cannot see it in the Inbox! The default setting of Hide mail after 2 weeks cannot be altered. Does anyone know why I cannot see older email from the last few days? By having it only show todays emails is no better really than receiving an Instant Message. Surely this can't be right? Is it something to do with the Blueyonder account or the phone's email setting?

My inbox only shows messages from the current day. The account it's sync'd with has more messages. I don't have any filters in place and my memory isn't full. I haven't played with the settings (until the problem occurred). Any ideas?

My phone has been plugged in to my computer for more than one hour and the status bar only shows about less than 1/4 completed. I have an iphone 5s btw.
Depends on how strong your wifi connection is.
you can try a reset hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release. -
my iphone has calendar history for 10 years. my icloud only shows about 6-8 weeks back. how can i get icloud to show all the calendar events in the past that are on iphone?
I encountered a similar problem when finally (and with much regret) I was obliged to migrate my MobileMe to iCloud last month.
Many years of iCal history vanished without trace during this automated transition by Apple and iCloud then kindly synched the resulting vacuum back to iCal on my Mac.
Fortunately, iCloud wasn’t able to decimate iCal on my other Macs because (1) they are still running Snow and (2) I had switched them off as a precaution. Good job I did.
My solution was to export my iCal data on one of those other Macs to a backup file – then I imported that backup file into my Lion-updated Mac’s iCal. That restored all the iCloud-deleted iCal data back on to my Mac and this was promptly synched automatically to my Calendar on iCloud. So now it’s all there and showing.
Perhaps you could do something similar? In the meantime, be very careful not to let iCloud’s amnesia get synched to your iPhone (and other devices).
Experience has taught me never to trust an “upgrade” until it is proven to be working correctly and always to keep in reserve another Mac with a properly-functioning system and all synching to it switched off... -

The ID for iTunes must be the same on both devices for it to automatically download purchases made on the other phone.
For example, if you have been using [email protected] for iTunes, continue to do so. One of you could also use [email protected] for their iCloud account and the other one use [email protected] for theirs, alternatively you could use [email protected] and [email protected] for the two separate iCloud accounts. -
Mailbox auditing log search only shows last 7 days
I have mailbox auditing turned on for a mailbox, and the audit log age limit is set to 90 days. When I run the non admin user access report however it only shows me auditing items for the past 7 days. If i go to powershell, and run search-mailboxauditlog

Printed webpage only shows about 20% of the page, centered
Never had a problem, suddenly can't print a webpage. Instead of everything on the page, it only prints about 20% of the horizontal line, starting from left margin; the printed part is centered on the paper. Also, the amount that is printed spans five pages, when normally I could print the webpage on a single sheet. Maybe the best description is that the printed appearance looks as if the printer thinks the paper is 2.5 x 4 inches. Have checked paper size, margins, etc.
Did a printer reset and that fixed the problem. Got so focused on checking all my settings I forgot about that universal antidote! Thanks for your prompt and helpful reply.
