i bought my new iphone 4 yesterday, and when i switched it on it says unable to activate iphone at this time, contact customer support.
please help ASAP !!
Where did you get it from? I would suggest to try and connect your phone to your computer with iTunes and try restoring.

Like I said, I often play iOS games on my iPhone 4S in my spare time. Sometimes, if the game is good enough, I will attempt to make an IAP (In-App Purchase). Sometimes, I have no trouble with this. Other times it will say: "Unable to complete transaction at this time. Please contact ITunes Store Support. I primarily use a prepaid credit card by AMEX called Bluebird. I always make sure that I have plenty of funds available in it. For instance, tonight, it has roughly $200 stored. So I try to make an IAP for $10 and it works fine. Later I make another for $15, no trouble there either. Then I try to make a purchase on the same game for $2.99 and it gives me that error message.
This has been happening on and off for the past 3-4 weeks only. Every few days it happens, I contact the iTunes Store Support, and sometime in the next 24-72 hours they get back to me. They then apologize for the inconvenience and fix the problem. But the main problem is that their fix seems to be only temporary. It happens irregardless of how much money I have available on my card. I've even had it happen when I had just redeemed a. $50 iTunes gift card and was trying to make a $5 purchase. It doesn't seem to matter if I've spent a little bit or a lot of money that day. It doesn't care for which game I am purchasing the IAP. TThis never happened to me before a month ago. Now it won't stop. And it is incredibly frustrating that it seems to happen for no rhyme or reason out of the blue. Then I'm stuck waiting on the support staff to get back to me for the next few hours to few days, depending on the day.
Is this happening to anyone else? Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening? Or how can I prevent it from happening in the future. The support folks at Apple are nice, but I'm tired of emailing them every other day with the same problem. I'm sure they are quite tired of getting emails from me at the same frequency. Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

P.S. my Internet connection is working perfectly. No technical difficulties whatsoever other than the inability to make an IAP. Also, after it gives that unable to complete transaction message, I can no longer buy anything with my apple account until tech support fixes it. Any suggestions or ideas appreciated.Thank you Brian, but I just tried that, and it didn't work, I'm still getting the same messages.

Hi, I am trying to install 4 Adobe apps onto a new iMac but Apps in Creative Cloud doesn't list any apps but says there is a download error and to contact customer support.
I can sign in fine with my username and password.

Haven't been able to install Adobe Indesign CC through Creative Cloud. Gives the following installation error "Unable to extract to temp directory. Contact Customer Support EX11". What can I do?

I would also recommend reviewing your installation log files for additional error messages. Well i bought some songs and when i go to download they say unable to download at this time and i dont have access to itunes. I've reset my internet connections and logged out and then back into my itunes account

RESTART WHEN MY IPHONE 5S ME, ME A MESSAGE THAT SAID CAME "HELLO" THEN I APPLY FOR LANGUAGE "LE PLACE SPANISH IN MY CASE" THEN I REQUEST THE PLACE WHERE AM I AND MY PLACE IF YOU "COLOMBIA" LATER CALLS ME ME CONNECT TO A NETWORK WIFI TO ACTIVATE AND ME SALE "MAY THE ACTIVATION OF IPHONE LAST FEW MINUTES" AND AS I DO ACTIVE THEN ME OUT ANOTHER MESSAGE SAYING "UNABLE TO ACTIVATE IPHONE" HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO ACTIVATE THE IPHONE BECAUSE SERVER ACTIVATION IS NOT AVAILABLE TEMPORARILY, TRY AGAIN IN A FEW MINUTES OR PROOF CONNECT IPHONE TO iTUNES TO ACTIVATE. Got an (unlocked) iphone 4s from US and tried activating in India but it throws an error saying 'unable to activate bcos the activation server cannot be reached' ..I tried connecting to itunes through my laptop but it does not detect my iphone..pls help

As kb1951 states, unless this phone was purchased directly from Apple, it is not officially unlocked. In the US, only Apple sells officially unlocked iPhones. The message you got generally means your phone was hacked to unlock it...jailbroken...Apple's servers have detected such & are preventing your phone from activating...there's nothing wrong with the activation servers.
You'll need a sim card from the carrier your phone is locked to in order to activate it. If you don't know what carrier, you'll have to call AppleCare in the US to determine this info. Be aware, US carriers will not authorize official unlocking unless you are a customer that used the phone on their network. Thus, there is most likely no way for you to get this phone officially unlocked.

HT4061 unable to activate iphone 3gs with itunes
I was recently given an I-Phone 3 GS by my daughter in law. The phone had not been used for several months and was naturally dead. I bought a charger and was able to charge the phone successfully but am unable to configure the phone and activate it via i-tunes. The phone had an Orange network SIM card in it which, i was advised may have been deactivated during the months of non usage. I was also advised to buy a new Orange PAYG sim to see if that worked but still unable to get the phone activated.
The phone displays no service message so does not appear to recognise the Orange SIM, also on first attempt to activate with new SIM i received message stating that the "pairing information was not found". Since then just get "unable to activate iphone at this time" message from i-tunes.
Is anyone able to offer any advice or am i flogging a dead horse with this phone?

i'm not familiar with iphone(i have htc, for shame:-)) Cydia? i can get no further than entering language, country and WiFi connection before it trys then fails to activate.

i have installed the version 6.01 in 3gs after installing we are unable to activate iphone ? why this message is showing again and again? what can we do now?
Generally this is a sign that the iPhone had previously been
hacked/modified/jailbroken and the update relocked it to the
original wireless carrier. If this is the case, only that wireless
carrier can unlock your iPhone. You must contact them to see
if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.
Where did you acquire this iPhone?
What wireless carrier did you use before this problem?
Does the app Cydia appear on your iPhone?
What does it say when you look at Settings=>General=>About=>Carrier?
