My phone keeps saying Activation server could not be reached or activation request could not be completed. What do i do?
I restored phone, and it still doesnt show any settings,aps etc, and it started like it was going to let me set it up, went thru English, United states, then Wifi, entered wifi info and then it says please wait while we activate and then it goes back to saying can not activate or activation server could not be reached, the diagnostics i run on it while synced with the computer comes back fine that it detects phone,etc. What can i do now?
YOu should ask your family friend. The message you get about activation server being unvailable usually indicates a hacked or jailbroken phone.
only the carrier that the phone is locked to can unlock the phone.

Just have to give it some time. The activation and verification servers are all slammed right now 'cause of all the people trying to update at the same time. Give it a couple hours (or overnight if you can wait) and it should sort itself out.

Try temporarily disabling your firewall and/or anti-virus software on the computer. You could also try logging out and back in to your itunes/AppleID account.

I'm trying to restore my iPhone 5 using iTunes, because my battery life has greatly decreased, and I believe it to be a software problem. Therefore I'm wanting to wipe the software completely, and update it again, but when I hit restore, it extracts the software, and then tells me the update server could not be reached. I'm not sure what the problem is, I updated my iTunes again and retried but the same thing happened. Please let me know what to do to restore my phone

Hello, i am having problems getting face time to work, I keep getting an error message saying the server could not process the registration, I am using the username and password I always have and it has always worked in the past, any ideas?

Thanks for the update and clarification. In researching the issue it seems that the 2003 error code may have something to do with the USB connection. I would use this section of one of the above articles:
Get help with iOS update and restore errors
If the USB connection between your device and computer is interrupted, you might not be able to update or restore.
To narrow down the issue, you can try different equipment:
Use the USB cable that came with your device, or a different Apple USB cable.
Plug your cable into a different USB port directly on your computer. Don't plug it into your keyboard.
Try a different computer.
Solve other issues with the USB connection, then with your security software.
If you still see the error message, check for hardware issues by following the next section.

Related errors: 1, 3, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 20, 21, 23, 26, 27, 28, 29, 34, 35, 36, 37, 40, 1002, 1004, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1667, or 1669.
These errors mean that your device or computer might have a hardware issue that stops the update or restore from completing.
Check that your security software and settings aren't blocking your device from communicating with the Apple update server.
Then try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good.
Make sure that your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers.
If you still see the error message when you update or restore, contact Apple support. -
Looking for help.... I keep getting a pop-up message on my phone stating that my server is not responding and to check my settings. My settings are fine. Any advice on what I can do to receive new emails on my phone? Help!
For a few weeks I have been using the GMail app on my iPhone 4S to get mail without problem. When I wanted to check something in Apple's Mail app, which has worked well for years, I now get a message for my principal email address that the server is "not responding," even though the same server is responding to my GMail app. For some reason, when I dismissed the message in Mail, it popped up again, but then could be dismissed. Did something change in Mail that requires some imap addresses be deleted and readded? Any idea?
I would not want to think that Mail is programmed to befuddle if it is ignored too long. -

Try going to the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your device and tap on your account id, tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account, and then select the Country/Region section and select the Philippines.

I have the same problem. It is only with tv shows and only with programs I have downloaded after the software update.
Apple support sent me the above link too....but it doesn't solve the problem...my computer is authorized and the content is in my library and will play on my Mac air, but it will not sync the tv shows, it keeps saying my computer isn't authorized for it.
