My podcast is updated in the store, but for some reason won't update to my Podcasts App or to my subscriptions in iTunes. Can anyone tell me why?
I've been producing a podcast for a while now, and just recently had this problem. I've updated the rss feed and loaded new episodes to the podcast, but for some reason the episodes are showing up in the iTunes store when you search for the podcast, but the "Podcasts" app on my iPhone isn't updating, and neither is my subscription to the podcast in my iTunes software.
Can anyone tell me my why the store has my latest episodes, but my subscriptions don't update and add them?
That is the correct feed URL.
The title for the episode of 4th February has an ampersand ('&') in it. You can't have an ampersand in an XML file such as a feed because it indicates the start of a code sequence which is never completed, thus rendering the entire feed unreadable in same readers. I'm surprised that the Store is coping with it - evidently the programming recognizes that it's within a tag; the iTunes application, which is a different program, isn't and so is showing no episodes as it can't read the feed.
You need either to replace the ampersand with the code
&
or the word 'and'.

Alright, I've had this problem for a while now, and I'm at my wit's end. Hope someone can help me.
First of all, I'm running Windows 8.0 on a Lenovo, using iTunes 11.1.5, and an iPhone on iOS 7.0.6.
Problem is, when I plug my iPhone 5 into my computer, the computer recognizes the iPhone, but for some reason, iTunes doesn't realize it's there. On top of that, every time I plug in, my phone gives me the same "Trust this computer?" prompt, like it doesnt recognize the computer I told it to trust 5 seconds ago. A couple times, I got lucky and iTunes dignified me with a "An iPhone has been detected, but could not be identified properly." prompt. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mobile device driver, updating everything, uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, resetting my iphone settings, but nothing works. I just bought a new printer for my iMac version 10.7 Lion but I am able to install the software but for some reason I am not able to view the printer under system preferences to add the printer. It is connected with the USB cord!! It as if the printer does not show up in the add printer section under system prefernces!!
I checked the manufacturer and apple site to see if my printer is supprted and it said it was!! I am using the HP officedeskjet 4500 G510a-f (HP Officejet 4500 Desktop)!! Still does not show up under add printers please help!!

My volume is greyed out when I turn on the Mac, but for some reason it works again when I turn on bluetooth. Nothing in system prefs changes this??? Its all very random and sometimes I do not have this problem at all or it is fixed again when I restart the Mac.
please let me know if you figure out how to do correct it because mine has exacly the same problem.

I have had an iTunes account for years but now find it extreemly complicated to understand. I don't even know how to get into my account!!!
My questions are:-
1. I have always lived in the UK but on iTunes I am now listed as living in the US!!! and as such cannot correct my details.
2. I used to be able to just log inmto my account, but now dont know where to go to do that.?
3. I haved an app for a Daily Newspaper on my iPad that i wish to cancel. How do i do that?
4. I had a good iTunes library, but all of a sudden all the songs/albums i had loaded on the the library myself disappeared, leaving only the albums i had purched from iTunes. Someone told me not to sync my iPod, iPad, or iPhone with my Library as it would take off all the songs i had put on.!!!
5. I paid an annual subscription to iCloud as i was told al;l the songs/albums i had uploaded would be in there but dont know how it all works and/or if they can be put back on to my library permanently.
6. My children used to buy me iTunes vouchers and i built up a credit of £80 on my iTunes account but the account was hacked and it all disappeard.
7. I am 67 and now find iTunes impossible to use...............i need help please.Settings > iTunes & App Stores > tap your Apple ID: > View Apple ID > Country/Region
If you find that it is set to the correct region, log out of your iTunes Store account, restart your iPad, and sign into your account again.

Can anyone help me figure out why the setting in System Preferences and CDs & DVDs will always revert to Ignore when I set the drop-down menu to When you insert a music CD, to Open ITunes? I've tried iTunes Help and it told me exactly what I have been doing. I've even tried downloading iTunes again, to no avail. If anyone has had the same problem, please let me know. I would very much appreciate it.
In iTunes Preferences not system preferences under the General Tab there is a drop down in the lower part letting you specify what action to take when a CD is inserted

Begin Playing
Ask To Import
Import CD
Import and Eject
I believe this setting adds to the system preferences

thank youAre you sure your AppleID is NOT tied to the US store? If you are trying to buy an app from the Swedish store you will be unable to do that. Some apps are only available on certain stores. That is why you get the "Cannot connect to the iTunes store" message when trying to buy that app. Your updates are being done from the US store ; thats why you can update sometimes and sometimes not.
If you keep encountering problems contact iTunes support. They will help you sort it out. -

This just started happening a few days ago. When I go to facebook the pictures are distorted and nearly impossible to discern who is in them. Are you sure you are selecting the correct app in the App Store? Some apps have two different versions for the phone and the iPad and if you are looking at an iPhone version of the game, then it would show up as having a cost associated with it since it would be a separate app.

my computer did restart because i had to press the reset button, i had 30 tabs and when i reopened Firefox instead of opening the 30 tabs i saved, it just went to the homepage, it didnt even have an error has occurred would you like to restore the tabs this happened a day ago

unfortunately my restore was off, so i was unable to restore to an earlier time when firefox 4 was working.
Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac. There is a third party version of Firefox 4 that runs on OS X 10.4/10.5 and PPC Macs, for details see http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox
