My project writes accelerometer data to usb drive but shared variables do not communicate with modbus

Hi there,
I have got a program that reads input from 3 off 9234 modules on a cRIO, the idea of the program is to read this data and save it in a bin file to a connected usb hard drive, the program also uses shared variables to connect the max signals from the 9234 then send thm to a modbus slave, my problem is that althought I am now getting the correct data on the usb drive I am not getting anything down the modbus link, I attach the program for you to see, all the shared variables are on the rt low speed loop, any help would be most grateful.

The contents of the Music and Videos apps aren't included in a device's backup. If you don't have them on your computer's iTunes library then if they are iTunes purchases then you should be able to copy them back from your old iPad via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases and you can then sync them to your new iPad. If some/all of them are not iTunes purchases and you don't have them on your computer nor on your backup of your library then there are some programs listed half-way down this page which should be able to copy them back : https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3991

OS X 10.8.4 - Hard drives and USB drives showing up as numbers, not names.

It used to display as "System" for my main hard drive, and "Media" and "Time Machine" for my USB drives but since recently they only ever show as "57.80", "-263" and "60+000/=76" respectively.
Reboots don't show them as they should be. They appear like this in finder, desktop and disk utility.
Any way to get it so their names show instead?

Yup - nothing happens. I then took the same VGA cable and plugged it into my friend's iPad1 and it worked perfectly when she opened Keynote. My understanding is that the iPad2 mirrors the entire screen, so no need to go into any specific application in order to project to the screen, right? Do I need to download any specific app or change any settings in order to be able to project the screen using VGA?

The 3G cannot be updated to iOS6, it can only go to iOS 4.2.1.
Activation issues are generally the result of the device being hacked or jailbroken.

i'tried several usb flash drives even brand new ones, they are visible onder hardware info but they are not on the desktop nor in the finder.

It does not show up in disk utility, its only visible through systeminformation.
When you plug in the USB flash drive and then refresh systeminformation it becomes visible.
To remove it I shut down the computer because I cannot eject the USB device anywhere.
After starting up again when I have removed the flash drive it has gone from the systeminfo USB list.
By the way my USB mouse and keyboard are working fine, I also changed ports of these and they still keep on working so I don't think the USB ports are defect.
I guess it some kind software problem, and because I'm new to Apple I do not know much about it how to solve this.

I happened to be interested in this problem for some time to monitor
vibrations in rotating machinery with order track and a mix of eddy
probes, velocity sensors and..accelerometers. In order to compare
vibrations from eddy probes and those of seismic sensors, I had to
doubly integrate the acc responses--> your wish .
.. I guess you have only one channel and fairly fast card and not doing
it continuously in real-time but as one-shot transient analysis possibly
with pretriggering.
You have to doubly integrate the accelerometer signal with some AC
filtering and acquire the response above 100 KHz (2 X bandwidth of your
acc). That is easy to do: use integration vi from the library with an AC
filter (IIR takes much less time but FIR have a linear phase lag and do
n
ot distort the time signal but simply shifts it.
If you use 2 channels, beware that the integration vi is not reentrant,
but I guess it is no issue for you since you assume that the
acceleration is quasi zero before the shock transient. Of course you are
bound to miss the low-frequency contents of your acc response anfd thus
may miss some of the real displacement. That's physics and has nothing
to do either Labview or data processing.

My Project won't save to my USB Drive

Hi Guys!
I finally recorded my first rhythm track from my new Yamaha MOXF8 to LPX!
Here's my problem.
I can save the song (He Did It) to LPX on my internal hard drive (a 256GB SSD), but when I try to "Save as" it to my USB Thumb Drive (which I have saved successfully to in the past when recording from my previous keyboard), I get a window that says: "Export as: He Did It" and asks where to save it.
I tell it to save to LPX Copy (my USB Drive)
   a) I check "Folder" for "Organize my Project as".
    b) I check "Audio Files" for "Copy the following files into your Project".
    c) I hit "Save"
I then get a message that says "He Did It.logicx” already exists. Do you want to replace it?"
I choose "Replace".
I then get a message that says "The document “He Did It.logicx” could not be saved as “He Did It”.
Any ideas?

I just tried copying the song to the Desktop first and then dragging it to the Thumb Drive.
When I tried that, I got a message that said there was not enough free disk space.
That is a good sign in that at least I didn't get a Message that said I couldn't move it there!
As an aside, I moved 75% of the songs from my usb drive to my desktop and then moved the songs I had just copied to the Trash.
But when I get the info about the thumb drive, it says it has 7.76GB used (it is a 8GB Drive).
Why is the Drive info saying that there is that much info there when I have either moved most of the songs tp my Desktop or Trash?

Task Sequence failed to restore captured data from USB drive onto a new machine using UDI task requence

Environment ConfigMgr 2012 R2
Replace Scenario: Capture data to a USB external drive and Restore it from USB external drive.
Steps taken:
1) Created Computer Association with New computer and Source computer
2) Deployed UDI replace Task Sequence to Source computer and captured data to a USB external drive
3) Run UDI Task Sequence from Boot Media to Restore data from USB External drive which had the captured data.
Issue:
My task sequence failed to restore data from USB external drive.
Is there a fix
Any help is greatly appreciated it.

Data Logging a programmatically created shared variable of cluster or array datatype into citadel DB

Hi,
Is there a way to log a programmatically created shared variable of cluster or array datatype into citadel DB?
I have attempted to programmatically create a shared variable of type 'double' and was able to successfully log the same into Citadel DB. In the attachment, Please refer to the attached project SV_TC.lvproj and specifically to SV_W.vi for the code that i have used (W.png file shows the dB in MAX and shared variable in NI Distributed System Manager)
However when i tried the same approach to create a shared variable 'array of double', i noticed that traces are not getting created and hence data logging isn't happening into the Citadel DB. I was however able to write and read the shared variable array without issues. The same is true with cluster datatype also. Please refer to SN_NW.vi for the code that i have used - only difference from SV_W.vi is that i have tried to create a shared variable of type 'array of double'
One observation is that if i create an 'array of double' or cluster in a shared variable library using the project explorer and deploy, i could see that these being logged into Citadel DB.
Hence i want to understand what could be done to achieve the same programmatically? Could you please advice?

Why is the transaction happening over remote?
Because we need the information to be on our database immediately when they submit it.
I don't know anything about streams or replication.....
The web database is run by the company that hosts our web site. We use PL/SQL to show the pages and output the html. It fetches the data the customer is requesting from our database, but I'm struggling to get the best way to insert into our database from there.

USB Drive (Toshiba 16GB PA3875A-1MAB) Not formatted message

Some months ago I purchased two 16GB USB drives with intention to use as a convenient backup for certain data files for myself and my wife on separates PCs, both of which were Dell desktops running Windows XP. I used my drive on a few occasions thinking all was OK until one day I found some files and folders were inaccessible with total rubbish (folder and files names were mixed symbols rather than normal alpha characters as used).
Disaster struck with both our PCs beginning to fail, so it became paramount to backup on other media as quickly as possible, and to start the hunt for replacement PCs. We decided on HP desktops with Windows 7 64 bit, using i5 and i7 processors. After many weeks of frustration, (HP don't bother to even tell you what software comes with your machine, or why I have some weird looking accessories left over) almost all perephirals - scanners, printers - have either been replaced or later drivers downloaded and installed, putting the subject of this post into low priority.
However, I have now connected my USB drives, and received the usual Windows message that the "Device driver software installed successfully. Your device is ready to use". So far so good. The drive is neatly shown in Windows Explorer, but when I click on the drive, I get a dreaded Windows message "You need to format the disk in drive L: before you can use it. Do you want to format it?"
Having never had such a message with a USB drive before, and being brought up on the premise that formatting a drive is a last resort to be avoided at all costs, I tried to see what properties Windows would reveal to me. Low and behold, under the Hardware tab, I am informed that "This device is working properly"! But the General tab also tells me that the drive has used 0, and has free 0. I am also reliably informed that the file system is "FAT"
I have tried putting the drives into different USB ports, and the same messages come up. All my other USB drives of various makes and sizes work without a hitch in any of the USB ports.
I plugged the drive into my old Windows XP notebook and the drive immediately showed up in Windows Explorer, without any notification of drivers being installed. However, clicking on the drive elicits a Windows message "The disk in drive F: is not formatted - do you want to format it now? The Properties tell me the file system is "RAW", and of course it says that the device is working properly.
I do not need to recover the data on the USB drive, as I have several other modes of backup that I use (redundancy is a great thing when things go wrong), but I would be very interested to learn whether anyone else has experienced the same thing, and what they did about it. If I do select "Format" what system should I use (if given an option) - I have read that FAT32 is good for drives up to 4 GB, but after that NTFS is the better option. I am also aware that the drive originally had been partitioned with Toshiba "Lock" technology, and that formatting will wipe out all of this. Toshiba's website makes no mention of this issue (that I could locate after extensive searching).
Or should I merely take the USB drives back to my retailer and tell them they do not work correctly, and claim against my warranty? Probably the least hassle for me, unless Toshiba want to argue that it is a normal functioning of their product, and charge me for the privilege.

I took the drives back to my retailer who tested them on their own equipment, and then told me "there is definitely something wrong with them", and immediately offerred replacing them with two new ones - which do work! Nice to know that there are retailers out there who do the right thing by their customers.

Excel files are in a propriertary microsoft format. A LabVIEW "spreadsheet" file is a file containing an ASCII table with tabs separating columns and linefeeds separating rows. They are not ther same!
If you use "write to spreadsheet file" and name the file *.xls, this does NOT make it an excel file, it just tells the operating system to open it with excel if you double-click it. Excel is smart enough to notice that it is not really an excel file and does its best to convert it transparently. The same does not work in reverse.
You have several options:
You can use excel to export your data to something LabVIEW can read. Try e.g. tab delimited text.
You can use e.g. activeX to read an excel file, see: http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/epd/p/id/3409
Search for excel in your example finder for more possibilites.

I am trying to get my mac book to recognize the thumb drive. When I go into Disk Utilities it does not show up there either. I have no problem syncing my iPhone to it so I do not think the USB drives are bad. Can someone help me out? Thanks!

I am getting the same issue with my MacBook Pro. If I go for a long peroid of time without restarting it starts to 'forget' USB sockets. First one stopped wortking and then the other. I restarted and they both beagan working fine again. Try giving that a go - I know it's an obvious option but it worked for me.
Otherwise check the file system on the thumb drive - is it Mac compatible? FAT 32 for example? Does it show up on other computers?
