Chances are you are using a mouse and are accidentally turning on screen zoom with the mouse. Please look at the Mouse Preferences and change the zoom feature if needed. Another possiblity is you are turning on Zoom accidentaly by key strokes. You can set Zoom to Off is System Preferences - Universal Access - Seeing - check Zoom to Off position. The keystroke command for Zoom on-off is Option Command 8 or FN F11. One last possibility is you are typing Command + which zooms, Command - will unzoom.

Took my phone to the Apple store this week and they told me it was a hardware/screen malfunction. They replaced the screen for free since it was under warranty. Now it works fine again!

I'm new to Mac, and I'm a bit unsure of how to handle a problem I'm having with application windows.
Here's the scenario:
On one space I have a bunch of PDF's open in Preview next to the document I am working on. On another space, I might have an unrelated PDF open and an image, also open in Preview. Now, say I use the Application Windows button to view all my open PDF's on the first space, but then discover I haven't got the PDF open, so I need to open in in finder. The moment I quit out of the Application Windows view I am transported to another desktop containing an open Preview window! This happens with other applications too, like if I trigger application windows on pages instead of preview and need to cancel, I get transported off to some other open pages document.
This is insanely infuriating, how can I stop it!

How can I print a pdf in the actual size with a page border? (2 pages per sheet preferred)
I usually print pdfs of books at a copy shop and they turn out fine.
The problem comes when I try to print the same books at home.
I use Adobe Acrobat X with the same settings: "multiple pages per sheet" (2x1) and page border. But the pages are slightly shrunken when printed. I think this is because my printer can't print as closely to the margins. Still, two pages should be able to fit on one sheet in actual size. Are there any layout settings that I can play with to find a better fit, besides portrait and landscape?
If I select page scaling "none," I'm able to print the pdf in actual size, one page per sheet. But there's no option to add a page border.I have a test with some questions (multiple choice, FIB, matching, etc). I have just one button to submit all the answers, and after submiting the student can see his score and review the test to know where he failed. He can't answer again. However, he can change the answer multiple times before submiting.

My results page is the default. I didn't use any variable. When i go to the results page after reviewing the test all the entry boxes are "wrong". -

How do I make PDF with layers that can be turned on and off?
I am creating a map in Indesign CS4 and I want to have different layers that can be turned on and off. Layers like different places and names that can be controled in Acrobat (and Reader). Im not sure how to go about this and if this is something created through Acrobat or through InDesign. I didnt see anything in ID when converting to a PDF that would save layers in that way so I assume its done in Acrobat Pro? Just need and idea of where to start

hello ptbruce, you probably only selected to open (not save) the video which will download it into windows temporary folder where it gets deleted again after it has been used. <br>you could try to right-click the entry in the firefox download manager and copy the link of the source file and try if you can download it through this url again. otherwise you'll have to contact the vendor of the video to find a solution...

Absolutely. Go to File->Export->QuickTime Movie (do NOT use QuickTime Conversion). Make sure you check the Self-Contained box. The export will be an exact copy of your Sequence, complete with any filters or other effects you've added. Import the self-contained movie back into the project (or another project) if needed.

To anyone with the same problem described above, on THEIR iPad (if it is running iOS 7.0.2):
Go to Settings; Mail, Contacts, Calendars; DELETE your *******@btinternet.com e-mail account, that you originally set up either using 'Other', or the 'BT' option which I am sure was in the list previous to the iOS 7 update.
Then ADD a NEW account choosing YAHOO from the list of options. DO NOT USE 'OTHER'.
Enter the correct details just as you (almost certainly) had already done in your previous attempts using 'other'.
When you see the 'verifying......' and 'the blue ticks' you should be able to exit settings and open your mail app and then receive all your 'old' e-mails again, AND be able to SEND as well.
All my 'old' e-mails, were NOT found in the 'old e-mail' folder though. THEY are still in my inbox.
So this fix worked for me.
After I deleted my account from 'OTHER' and put it in Yahoo, I like other people also ended up with more folders.
I hope this works for you on YOUR Apple devices.

If you restored to factory settings/new iPod and still have the problem that indicates a hardware problem.
