My site won't update when I Re-publish
What's happening is I have changed the name of two pages in the site organizer and the name change takes effect in the menu bar of the pages I changed when I republish but still says the old name on my home page (the page that opens when you log on to my site. What is going on here! Please Help Thanks

Document info fields in Word won't update when placed in document header-section
Dear all,
I have a document library using 3 Content Types with metadata columns and a Word-template.
The values of these metadata columns should be displayed within the Word-documents created from content type.
So I've inserted document info fields into the Word-template to display them.
But unfortunately the placeholders are not updated when opening the document again, after metadata values had been changed e.g. by using the edit-form within the list.
From what I have seen so far, this only refers to document info fields resident in header or footer sections.
But this is where I need to place them.
Does anybody know this issue and has an idea of how to fix it?
Could VBA be of use here?

Based on your description, document info fields in Word won't update when placed in document header-section.
Per my test, document info fields in Word will update when placed in document header-section.

Mail won't update when I'm not using it..
Hi guys,
I have been having some trouble with my Mail, I use hotmail and the mail app on iPhones just recently it hasn't been updating when I'm not in the app, so I have been missing a lot of emails and they haven't been showing and only show when I go on the app and refresh it manually! It used to do it automatically but now it's stopped, I might of clicked something on settings but I'm not sure what! Not sure if this makes a difference I put on airplane mode through the night (something I have always done anyway) when I first turn off all the mail comes through automatically then from the night time however after this I get nothing without manually going into the app! If anyone can help me sort this I would be very grateful.Hi rawoo,
Based on your post it seems you are experiencing issues with Mail. The following article may help you find a solution:

Have you checked your Mail settings in regards to Push and Fetch for new messages? This may help you further:

Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, where you can:
Create a different mail signature for each account
Add mail accounts
Set Out of Office replies for Exchange mail accounts
Bcc yourself on every message you send
Turn on Organize by Thread to group related messages together
Turn off confirmation for deleting a message
Turn off Push delivery of new messages, to save on battery power
Temporarily turn off an account

My Recently Added playlist won't update when I buy a song on my iPhone
For some reason, my "Recently Added" smart playlist doesn't update when I buy a song on my iPhone 4. I have to Sync with iTunes for it to update. How can I get it back?
1. Select your Smart Playlist
2. Right Click and select "Edit Smart playlist"
3. Add a new condition "Playlist IS Music" and make sure "Live Updating" is also checked. Press Ok
4. Sync and it should work... -
Our iPad 2 won't update e apps for some reason they just appear greyed out and won't complete. We have the latest software so can't understand why it won't update.

Spry menu bar won't update when published
I am building a dreamweaver webpage though a template.
for some reason it will not change the spry menu bar to update the changes made to the links on it.
that and the links won't work on the website (i uploaded it to a test website).
I am not sure if it is the same problem.
I changed the links from site to document relative.
I also checked the codes in http://validator.w3.org/check and http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/ .
I also read this link and it didn't help me http://helpx.adobe.com/dreamweaver/kb/paths-dreamweaver-templates.html .

I am uploading to a godaddy server. Is there a way I should be saving things (links and such) that I might be doing wrong? am I naming my links incorrectly? how do I make them so they will work once uploaded.
I followed the suggestions that you made and it looks like it is there but for somereason when i preview the page in a browser or live view the background image (parchment) doesn't show up on the screen.and the spry menu bar only comes up as an unordered list. I am not sure what would be causing this.

My published site won't update
I published my site today.
I have used up 50% of my allowance for my site.
I have made a few changes that I needed to update - adding another 10% to my allowance...but when I hit the publish button, I get an error saying that I have exceded my allowance - It seems to want to publish the whole site again on top of what I have already.
Am I missing something very obvious?
Any suggestions as to what I could try?

Since last night, every time I try to publish a small update in iWeb to my .Mac site I get a message saying there was an error verifying the quota on my iDisk. I'm stuck with a half-finished page up on the web and no way to fix and update it. Can anyone suggest a way for me to work through or around this, please?

A playlist that I update on my ipod won't update when I connect my ipod to itunes
I have been using my Ipod Touch 3rd generation to create playlists. The playlists show up fine and play on the ipod, but when I connect the ipod to itunes, and click on the playlist, it does not reflect the changes made on the ipod. I have the ipod set to manually manage, so when I disconnect the ipod the songs are still on the ipod, but why won't they show up on itunes?
I also deleted some tv shows off of the ipod by way of itunes, but when i disconnected the ipod, they were still listed on the ipod, although they would not play. So somehow, my itunes and ipod are not communicating with eachother. Any ideas/fixes?Hey BingHuo,
Thanks for the question. If I understand correctly, the iPod will sync but not charge while connected. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

8300 won't update when it arrives in new time zone
I have tried setting time source "network" and "Blackberry" but in either case, when I get to the new time zone the time on phone is from home local and does not update. On Date/Time page network time is displayed for all locations but on front screen time is not updated.

I enter data on a State Health website, which requires that I change my password on a regular basis. I tried to login with the new password, and called the website's help desk for help, when I was unsuccessful. They said it was because Firefox was remembering the old password each time I tried to log on, and that I should ask you to remove the "remembering password" component.
Thank you. I had to pull up an article on "How to Clear the Cache", and I think I got that and "Removed Cookies" from the site that I was having trouble with (although I didn't see any where to "okay" the new settings, so I just closed out). But I'm still not able to get on the site, so I have a call in to their support.

4s 8.1.3 wireless connected app store won't update when requested
Couldn't find an exact scenario...also had issues just searching for "4s 8.1.3 Issues" on this forum...kept having issues finding a match. I am sure I'm missing something obvious. Please advise if possible.

Successfully updated the apps she absolutely needed via her cellular connection.
Long story short...my brother upgraded her computer but did not re-install I Tunes. He not so secretly loathes Apple. So it's not possible, as yet, to update her phone on ITunes...and I've run out of time today. I expect that I'll have to update her phone via ITunes once I properly install it...but I still think she should be able to update her apps easily via wireless.After several hours of frustration with suggestions that did not work,
the app store suggested that I try to delete the Remote Desktop App and
try again.
After deleting the app, emptying the trash and rebooting I found that
clicking the update button would download the App.
After setting stuff up I found that with 3.5.1 I could:
1) generate reports from clients.
2) copy a file by dragging from a client window to the admin desktop
3) the copy to a client command still fails
4) the remote install still fails.

Album art won't update when albums removed
Hi,
I have noticed a bug on my new iPad. If I have multiple albums by the one artist on my iPad, it displays the album art of one of the albums in the thumbnail view.
However if I then remove the album from my iPad that relates to the album art being shown, the thumbnail views still stays as that artwork rather than changing to one of the other albums still on my iPad.
Does anyone know how to fix this?In my experience, the only way for the album artwork to stay associated with the actual music file, is to use the "Update album artwork" feature in iTunes. This means, that to get the artwork from iTunes, the artist name, song title and album name MUST match exactly the information of the song in the iTunes store. If the art is not available, you can add your own. If you add your own, then run the update album art feature again so that the album art becomes part of the songs meta data. It should transfer to just about any device after that. However, some devices (Nokia comes to mind) will not display art metadata over 64K in size.

The jigsaw widget won't display when project is published
Hi all,
I am having trouble with the jigsaw widget. It will run when I just preview 5 slides but when I publish my project or preview in a browser it doesn't work. I just see the time and reset button but the puzzle pieces do not appear. I am using Captivate 7.

ChrisThanks for the quick responce. I have tried deleting all of the opjects on the page just incase they were hindering it and that did not make a difference unfortunately. I should add that my project was created by importing slides from PowerPoint. Not sure if that makes a difference or not. I am new to this so I couldn't find any animation accordion or alpha settings. Here is a screen shot of my timeline though. As I said it works fine when I just preview 5 slides but but when published it doesn't seem to start playing and I just get the Reset button and the table with the time and score at the bottom of the screen.
