My wife lost her iPhone. Is there an way to find it or delete information on the phone? I didn't have any apps installed on the phone to locate it. Should we be worried about information being stolen off the phone? I have already suspended the phone's usage. What are the next steps if it isn't found?

Not without a free iCloud account. With an iCloud account you can send a remote wipe command to the iPhone along with other options.
If she wasn't using the Passcode Lock, anyone that finds the iPhone can access everything on the iPhone. If the Passcode lock was being used along with an option for the iPhone to be completely erased after 10 failed passcode attempts, the iPhone will be erased after 10 failed passcode attempts.
Besides contacting your carrier, if the Passcode lock wasn't being used the password for all email accounts that were being accessed with the iPhone's Mail app should be changed.

There is nothing you can do after the fact. If the device is attached to the Internet then it can be tracked. It makes no difference if it's WiFi or Cellular.

You can't cancel it. What you can do is put it in airplane mode so it doesn't connect to the internet and start to erase, then back it up in iTunes (connect it to your computer, open iTunes, click on the name of the phone in iTunes, go to the Summary tab and click Back Up Now, then go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases). Then you can turn off airplane mode and let it erase; when it finishes, restore the backup you made earlier and sync it with iTunes.

Last year A friend purchase a iPhone 4S - 32GB White.
When she purchase iPhone 4S, didnt realised she need to download Find Phone, has she thought it was already in iPhone 4S, system. I approved lots Apple Store in Malaysia, non could help me and all said the same, if you don't download Find Phone, there's no way you can trace it back. No doubt what they all had said is not wrong....but my heart said, am sure there's always a way to track or trace it back even without the Find Phone Apps. Knowing myself don't have such powerful system to find the phone back. Every Poison there's Anti-Dos for it. I know you have the power and system to track & trace the phone back by Apple. If Apple can build such powerful smart phone am sure there's always a way for you there to trace or track it. I had seem movies which even show but not many able to see the hidden message in movie or etc. All my wish was to least Delete or JAM the system by using the serial number or code which you produce in every iPhone 4S or etc. Least the person who took it, would not able to used it at all even if they wannt jail break it or does anything to iPhone 4S. Least they could do is either throw it away or return to Apple Store in individual country. I know what am asking might be impossible to asked, but its the impossible which its not impossible.
1st: Why build a system which so smart with all serial no and codes, but the "Find Phone" its not one of the Apps for iPhone?
2nd: Why must customer need to download "Find Phone" Apps and the rest of the Apple Apps in inside the Phone...? Doesn't make sense....
3rd: In any movie, you watched they will break the phone or throw it away and so they are not able to trace the person but the phone still can be trace or track...unless the person break the chips or put into Fire to destroy it completely, then YES, i believe it can't be trace or track.
Please kindly in your power to help or advice or bring this up to Apple Team Mind before all perfection to make iPhone....Metta

I have a mac and my wife has her Iphone synced with another library.

When she hooks it up to the MAC it says it will erase in order to sync with my Itunes/Mac. How does she use my computer to communicate with her phone without erasing it?

Depends on what she wants to do. You need to make sure that auto sync is turned off, then there are only a few things she can do with the iPhone and a different computer. The iPhone is desiged to sync with just a single computer. Is t here a reason she wants to connect to your computer?

Wife lost her project from iMovie

she worked on this "movie" for days. kept coming back to it and working on it. it was always there. saved itself each session. this evening it is not there anywhere. we are very new to mac and I have no idea how to look for it or where. she is coming unhinged right about now. can anyone guide me here? I ran into this same problem, but my movie files were still in the directory Movies/iMovie Projects. Even though my projects were in there, iMovie wouldn't show them, and would freeze. I tried trashing the iMovie preferences, but that did not help. I was really unhappy! I thought I lost days of work.
If your movies are still in that directory, I was able to recover by doing the following:
- make sure you are not in iMovie.
- first, make a copy of your iMovie Projects folder by selecting the folder and doing a "File-> Duplicate" from the Finder.
- next, rename the original folder called iMovie Projects to something else (I simply appended the name "old" so it was iMovie Projects Old
- start iMovie - it will create a new iMovie Projects folder
- quit iMovie
- drag your projects into the newly created iMovie folder (drag from either the duplicate or the iMovie Projects Old folder - make sure you keep a backup!)
- start iMovie and voila! Your projects are back.
I hope this works for you, too. It really saved me!

I am having an issue using my Iphone with Bluetooth in my car. If I am driving, and my wife uses her phone to access google and type in anything, it activates the phone feature, and "Talking" appears on our Navi screen. Can anyone help?

We are having trouble using our Iphone with the Bluetooth system in our 2012 Highlander. When I am driving and my wife, using her Iphone, uses Google and types in anything at all, letters of numbers, it activates the phone on our Navigation system and initiates a call. It goes away after a few seconds, but happens every time.
No problem pairing the phone with the car's bluetooth, and no problems making calls.
Just returned from our Toyota dealer, who had no answers.
Can anyone help on this?

This happens when I am driving, and my wife, using her Iphone, accesses Google.com. Once she is on the web site, and she types in her search, it activates the phone on the Navi system, and the screen on the navi system says "talking".
I have a Blackberry, and it is also paired with the car, but we make sure only my wife's Iphone is connected when the happens.

Can I easily add my wife to Find iPhone?

My wife misplaced her iPhone this weekend and didn't have her computer with her and doesn't own an iPad. she had no way to access Find iPhone app.
if we could easily add each other's devices to each other's Find iPhone app, we'd be able to assist each other to locate and or set the other's device to sound.
Unless I'm reading older info or since I'm iOS 7, she's iOS 6 per her job restriction this isn't allowed, will iOS 8 allow us to easily add each other's devices as long as we have their Apple ID and PW? Or would I really need to log in as her using her AppleID and PW? And visa versa? We have this info and with all due respect to security, this is way clunkier than being able to assign the devices we need to find.

FindMyiPhone tracks iDevice using the AppleID of that device. If her iPhone is not usign yrou AppleID, then you cannot find it using FindMyiPhone.
Just log into FindMyiPhone with her AppleID/Password.

If the iphone is a device which is using the iOS 7.0.4 then the 'find my device' is turned on by default. With this being said if you will go to www.icloud.com and login with your apple id login which is assocaited with the device icloud will pinpoint the device within a 10 meter radius.

Do you mean that you removed the phone from the 'manage devices' section of your iTunes account ? If you do then that won't stop you being able to purchase items on your phone - you only need to be logged into an account to be able to purchase with it.
If you do mean the 'manage devices' section then you can associate, or re-associate, a device (or computer) by using iTunes Match, or automatic downloads, or redownloading past purchases on it : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627
